Geopolymer is being evaluated as a possible alternative to traditional concrete in the building sector. With the inclusion of Polypropylene Fibres, Geopolymer binding material is created in this study. Various durability tests as well as the influence of Polypropylene Fibre on concrete were conducted. The cubes' resilience was observed and investigated after being immersed in several hostile solutions. The resulting concrete has a high compressive strength as well as a long lifespan. For all mix proportions, the quality of Geo-polymer Concrete is excellent, especially for polypropylene fibre additions up to 0.6 percent. The drying shrinkage of Geopolymer concrete can be minimized by adding Polypropylene Fibre to the cement. Polypropylene fibre improves the performance of Geopolymer Concrete by resisting the chloride penetration and so increasing its longevity. The results also showed that inserting Polypropylene fibre into FRGP concrete improves resistance to high temperature exposure. The sulphate attack results show that loss in Compressive Strength decreases with increasing Polypropylene Fibre addition up to a limit of 0.6 percent.

A concrete structure mainly depends upon the protective action provided by the cover concrete. Corrosion of rebars due to chlorides and deterioration of concrete are mainly responsible for the reduction of service life of concrete particularly in marine environment. The service life ends when the protective action provided by the cover concrete is lost. The prediction of service life would be very useful to arrive at a cost effective strategy to be adopted regarding inspection, repairing, strengthening and replacement of corrosion affected concrete structures at appropriate time to prevent premature failure. This would be further useful in estimating the structural capacity to withstand the extreme aggressive conditions during the remaining service life of the concrete structures.

An ocean is a body of saline water that composes much of a planet's hydrosphere. On Earth, an ocean is one of the major conventional divisions of the World Ocean, which occupies two-thirds of planet's surface. These are, in descending order by area, the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern (Antarctic), and Arctic Oceans. The word sea is often used interchangeably with “ocean” in American English but, strictly speaking, a sea is a body of saline water (generally a division of the World Ocean) that land partly or fully encloses. The sea water consist of an average of 35 g/1000 ml of dissolved compounds collectively called salts or practical salinity units (psu) which include CI− (55.04%), Na+ (30.61%), SO42− (7.68%), Mg2+ (3.69%), Ca2+ (1.16%), K+ (1.10%) as major constituents and HCO3− (0.41%), Br (0.19%), H3B03 (0.07%) and St2+ (0.04%) apart from 0.01% of dissolved substances of several inorganic salts needed for the marine organisms living in the ecosystem.

Researching customer satisfaction becomes key for organizational competitiveness because satisfied customers become loyal customers. Therefore, it is important to measure customer satisfaction towards online shopping, since satisfied customers will make repetitive purchases and provide recommendations to others, thus generating the profit for a particular e-commerce company. Customer satisfaction towards online shopping can significantly be influenced by website service quality, hence many of the previous studies set up to show the relationship between website service quality and customer satisfaction. But still, limited literature has been focused on the mediating effects of the confirmation of customer expectation on the relationship between website service quality and customer satisfaction. Hence, the aim of this study is to measure customer satisfaction based on the website service quality with confirmation of customer expectation. A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed to online customers who are working in the private banks in Bangladesh. Our of 500, a total of 342 questionnaires were used for further analysis, representing a response rate of 68.40%. The hypothesis for direct effect was tested by regression analysis using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The result of the study revealed that website service quality has a significant and positive relationship with confirmation of customers’ expectations and in turn, their satisfaction level towards online shopping. Implications and directions for future research are also highlighted in this present study.

Slope failure mitigation practices are well developed in recent years. Recently, geosynthetic, geocell, and geogrid combined with micropiles are being used extensively in various slope stabilization works. But integrated approaches are still lacking. In this study, a method of slope stabilization is proposed by integrated use of micropile, geocell and geogrid from an engineering and economical point of view. The study was done on slope failure located at Chandragiri Hill, south west of Kathmandu, Nepal. Geotechnical problems of the site, the design of geocell foundation, micropile and geogrid are done on the based on numerical analysis using Phase-2 software with field data. The results of analytical studies revealed that, the use of a combination of geocell, micropile and geogrid is beneficial in increasing slope stability. As per numerical analysis, in the slope failure site, geocell gravity walls each of 3.8 m, is constructed in different step. Beneath the geocell wall, different layers of geogrid were placed filled with granular materials. The geocell wall is connected with micropile from inside. The micropile works as an anchorage and support for geocell wall, which increases the stability of a failed slope.

Geogrid reinforced stone column system was used in present research to check the effectiveness of the system in soft soils of Kathmandu Valley. The area consists of silty sand and clay of low plasticity and initial bearing capacity of 75 kPa. Geogrid layers are laid over granular backfill material and compaction was carried out. The results show that there is a significant increase in the bearing capacity and reduction in settlements. The results show that combination of stone column with geogrid reinforcement is an effective solution for ground improvement to reduce settlement, increase bearing capacity and strengthening mat foundation base.

One of the important research topics and areas that is attracting significant interest and attention globally is ‘big data’. While big data contribute towards the quality of decision-making, it also assists in the development of and extending the knowledge in this area by harnessing available technology. This research presents and discusses the literature related to the quality of big data and its impact on the quality of decision-making. A descriptive methodology approach was also adopted by reviewing the literature of published and unpublished scientific research along with a survey in the form of a questionnaire involving participants from Abu Dhabi Police Agencies to collect their views and opinions in this area. The results from the literature review and survey led to proposing a theoretical, conceptual model according to the quantitative and numerical methodology. The findings of this research have revealed that the quality of big data predicts the quality of decision-making and that the quality of big data in Abu Dhabi Governmental Organisations (ADGO) plays a significant role in the quality of decision-making.
