This paper reports on research concerning the establishment of an E-learning framework to impart E-health education to nurses in developing countries. Nursing and midwifery academic transcripts from several schools of nursing in different developing countries for nurse graduated in the years 2005-2009 were analyzed to evaluate their contents regarding Information Communication Technology (ICT) and E-health/E-nursing courses. Content analysis mechanism for 24 transcripts from eight developing countries were analyzed, this analysis revealed that there was no evidence of the introduction of the concept of E-health/E-nursing as such in any of the transcripts studied; Most of the programs ( 75%) were four years long, the vast majority (87%) of programmes had some kind of ICT- or computer-related modules, mostly concerning basic computer skills and IT fundamentals. The study finding justify the need for integration of E-health/E-nursing learning module in nursing curricula for national nursing institutions, and E-health literacy should be a prerequisite for the registration of general scope nurses/medical students

This paper describes the analysis, design, and implementation of responsive data representation in the web application that can render data asynchronously to users by making an Application Programming Interface (API) request from a webserver. At the same time, provides high-quality downloadable Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) images for journals, magazines, and other printed media. For this issue, large-scale data that uses open-source Covid-19 data was used to improve the Covid-19 data visualization and the other improvements that can be done for proper representation of such vital data to the general public. During the development process, qualitative research into data representation with responsive charts and/or Scalable Vector Graphics images file has been conducted in contrast of each other to answer questions like what tools and technologies are often used, what are the alternative tools and technology, when, where, and why developers make use of certain approach to data representation. © 2021. Numerous studies have evaluated aspects of m-learning use in Saudi Arabia, mostly focused on technology use and its impact on students, or technology challenges and promises. Few studies have explored features of m-learning use and engagement among university faculty members. This paper presents a new methodology for evaluating the status of m-learning from faculty members’ perspectives in Saudi Arabia by investigating level of use using Concerns-Based Adoption Model framework. Concerns-Based Adoption Model is well established in the United States of America and in research investigating innovation adoption in education, including recent efforts in the Middle East (Jordan and Saudi Arabia). The outcome of such research, including this study, promotes better use and engagement with m-learning and provides a better understanding of advantages, disadvantages and barriers. The outcomes of this research study can reflect positively on universities’ status in the future and help in reforming policies and practices for developing the use of m-learning in Saudi Arabia.

Over the last decade, the development in mobile technology, satellite navigation systems and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) have contributed to the design and development of Brunel Remote Guidance System (BRGS). This system has the potential to be utilized by visually impaired pedestrians to make their life safer and easier. Recent research on BRGS indicates that in future this technology might be an integral part of their life practices. However, before the full deployment of the system in real life, more research is needed to reach both the best setup and performance of the system. The performance of the system is subject to each factor within the sub-system of the overall system architecture. Hence, knowing each sub-system along with its method of performance assessment and its effectiveness will definitely enable the better evaluation of the whole system performance which can lead to a better system setup. Therefore, that has been the main aim of this paper which has been achieved through conducted systematic literature review on previous literature related to this project. The main finding of the study showed that there is no clear setup and performance assessment method for one essential part on the system, which is the guide terminal.

Theadvancement of smartphones, global positioning system, and information technologies have a great influence on our travelling preferences and behaviour, dynamically shaping the transportation industry. In addition to providing convenience to the riders, it also has created some debate among the stakeholders, including the policy makers. This paper presents a quantitative study of Taxi service experience in Jordan. The aim of the study is to evaluate Jordanians’ experiences with yellow taxi services, assess their opinion toward advantages and disadvantages of Uber taxi services in Jordan and obtain opinions on the expected future of Uber taxi services.

E-commerce in developing countries has been studied by numerous researchers during the last decade and a number of common and culturally specific challenges have been identified.. This study considers Jordan as a case study of a developing country where E-commerce is still in its infancy. Therefore, this research work comes as a complement to previous research and an opportunity to refine E-commerce adaptation research. This research was conducted by survey distributed randomly across branches of Philadelphia General Supplies (PGS), a small and medium enterprise (SME). The key findings in this research indicated that Jordanian society is moving towards online shopping at very low rates of adoption, due to barriers including weak infrastructure throughout the country except in the capital, societal trends and culture and educational and computer literacy. This means that E-commerce in Jordan still remains an under-developed industry.

Remote guidance systems have the potential to make lives of visually impaired people safer and easier. One of these systems is Brunel Remote Guidance System designed by the Center of Guidance System Research at Brunel University. This paper presents the results of a pilot study to improve the performance of the BRGS by selecting the optimum size for the guide terminal. The study undertook to establish the effects of variations in the terminal size on the performance of the human operator in recognising macro navigational errors in the visually impaired system user's journey. The performance was measured and compared in relation to four different size combinations of the main components of the guide terminal -- the video feed display and digital map. The pilot study results showed that the effects of the varied sizes on the sighted guide performance to recoginse the macro navigational errors are not statistically significant. However, this result might be affected by the number of the participation which was 20 participants as a pilot study.
