According to the United Nations, around 53 million metric tons of electronic waste is produced every year, worldwide, the big majority of which goes unprocessed. With the rapid advances in AI technologies and adoption of smart gadgets, the demand for powerful logic and memory chips is expected to boom. Therefore, the development of green electronics is crucial to minimizing the impact of the alarmingly increasing e‐waste. Here, it is shown the application of a green synthesized, chemically stable, carbonyl‐decorated 2D organic, and biocompatible polymer as an active layer in a memristor device, sandwiched between potentially fully recyclable electrodes. The 2D polymer's ultramicro channels, decorated with C═O and O─H groups, efficiently promote the formation of copper nanofilaments. As a result, the device shows excellent bipolar resistive switching behavior with the potential to mimic synaptic plasticity. A large resistive switching window (103), low SET/RESET voltage of ≈0.5/−1.5 V), excellent device‐to‐device stability and synaptic features are demonstrated. Leveraging the device's synaptic characteristics, its applications in image denoising and edge detection is examined. The results show a reduction in power consumption by a factor of 103 compared to a traditional Tesla P40 graphics processing unit, indicating great promise for future sustainable AI‐based applications. Developing an anode material that has better performance efficiency than commercial graphite while keeping the features of economic scalability and environmental safety is highly desirable yet challenging. MOFs are a promising addition to the ongoing efforts, however, the relatively poor performance, chemical instability, and large‐scale economic production of efficiency‐proven pristine MOFs restrict their utility in real‐life energy storage applications. Furthermore, hierarchical porosity for lucid mass diffusion, high‐density lithiophilic sites are some of the structural parameters for improving the electrode performance. Herein, we have demonstrated the potential of economically scalable salicylaldehydate 3D‐conjugated‐MOF (Fe−Tp) as a high‐performance anode in Li‐ion batteries: the anode‐specific capacity achieved up to 1447 mAh g−1 at 0.1 A g−1 and 89 % of cyclic stability after 500 cycles at 1.0 A g−1 for pristine MOF. More importantly, incorporating 10 % Fe−Tp doping in commercial graphite (MOFite) significantly enhanced lithium storage, doubling capacity after 400 cycles. Tuning the charge density at the active site to balance the adsorption ability and reactivity of oxygen is extremely significant for driving a two‐electron oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) to produce hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). Herein, we have highlighted the influence of intermolecular polarity in covalent organic frameworks (COFs) on the efficiency and selectivity of electrochemical H2O2 production. Different C3 symmetric building blocks have been utilized to regulate the charge density at the active sites. The benzene‐cored COF, which exhibits reduced polarity than the triazine‐cored COF, displayed enhanced performance in H2O2 production, achieving 93.1 % selectivity for H2O2 at 0.4 V with almost two‐electron transfer and a faradaic efficiency of 90.5 %. In‐situ electrochemical Raman spectroscopy and scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) were employed to confirm H2O2 generation and analyze spatial reactivity patterns. Metal nanoparticles are potent reaction catalysts, but they tend to aggregate, thereby limiting their catalytic efficiency. Their coordination with specific functional groups within a porous structure prevents their aggregation and facilitates the mass flow of catalytic starting materials and products. Herein, we use a thiacalix[4]arene-based polymer as a porous support with abundant docking sites for Au nanoparticles. The sulfur atoms bridging the phenolic subunits of thiacalix[4]arene serve as Lewis basic sites that coordinate Au atoms. Therefore, this approach takes advantage of the functional groups inherent in the monomer and avoids laborious postsynthetic modifications of the polymer. The presented system was tested for visible-light-driven photocatalytic CO 2 reduction, where it showed adequate ability to generate 6.74 μmol g -1 CO over the course of 4 h, while producing small amounts of the CH 4 product. This study aims to stimulate interest in the design and development of synthetically simpler porous polymer supports for various metal nanoparticles in catalytic and other applications.

Photocatalytic CO 2 reduction into formate (HCOO - ) has been widely studied with semiconductor and molecule-based systems, but it is rarely investigated with covalent organic frameworks (COFs). Herein, we report a novel donor-acceptor COF named Co-PI-COF composed of isoindigo and metallated porphyrin subunits that exhibits high catalytic efficiency (∼50 μmol formate g -1 h -1 ) at low-power visible-light irradiation and in the absence of rare metal cocatalysts. Density functional theory calculations and experimental diffuse-reflectance measurements are used to explain the origin of catalytic efficiency and the particularly low band gap (0.56 eV) in this material. The mechanism of photocatalysis is also studied experimentally and is found to involve electron transfer from the sacrificial agent to the excited Co-PI-COF . The observed high-efficiency conversion could be ascribed to the enhanced CO 2 adsorption on the coordinatively unsaturated cobalt centers, the narrow band gap, and the efficient transfer of the charge originating from the postsynthetic metallation. It is anticipated that this study will pave the way toward the design of new simple and efficient catalysts for photocatalytic CO 2 reduction into useful products.
