Aspergillus flavus and aflatoxin on pistachio are the most important hazards to human health, which start in the orchard and will continue to the storage. This research selected 16 most effective yeast strains through dual culture (DC) assay according to the interaction between 376 yeast strains and A. flavus isolate P1684 in an initial screening. The antifungal ability of the strains was determined to be 94.5%, 72.08 %, and 91.31% in DC, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and extracellular secretions (ESs) assays, respectively. In DC and VOCs assays, the YE 43-6 yeast strain showed maximum inhibition of growth, whereas powder and liquid formulation of the YE 43-10 yeast strain showed better performance. Ammonia vapor assay revealed that yeast strains significantly reduced aflatoxin production in A. flavus. Under in-situ conditions, trees were sprayed with cell/spore populations of both effective yeasts and A. flavus to determine the ability of yeast strains to compete with the pathogen. After 45 days, the fruits were harvested, and the average number of colonies per pistachio fruit unit (CFU/Nut) was determined. The highest and lowest reduction of populations were observed in YE 43-10 (85.71%) and YE 36-9 (35.18%), respectively. In both YE 43-6 and YE 43-10 strains, powder formulation was slightly more effective than liquid, and VOCs effectively prevented pistachio contamination with A. flavus and aflatoxin.

Pistachio dieback (DBP) is a significant disease affecting pistachio trees in Iran, and it has emerged as a serious problem in Kerman province in recent years. This study investigates the role of bacteria as causal agents of DBP under laboratory and field conditions. Samples were collected from infected pistachio orchards in Kerman province from 2015 to 2016. The ability of bacterial isolates to induce disease and colonize vascular tissues was studied using various inoculation methods. Identification of isolates was carried out using biochemical and physiological assays, amplification of the 16S rDNA region, and partial analyses of the gyrA gene. A total of 281 bacterial isolates were obtained from infected trees, of which 148 induced a hypersensitivity reaction on tobacco leaves. Among these, 128 isolates were able to colonize vascular tissues in sub-bark inoculations of pistachio branches under laboratory conditions. In field experiments, 24 selected isolates were able to spread in vascular tissues of pistachio branches and twigs using sub-bark and apical inoculation methods, although disease severity varied. Staphylococcus pasteuri, Bacillus pumilus, Bacillus sp., Acinetobacter radioresistens, Xanthomonas sp., Curtobacterium flaccumfaciens, Pseudarthrobacter oxydans, and Pseudomonas koreensis were identified as being involved in the dieback of pistachio trees. This work demonstrates that a wide range of bacterial genera and species may be involved in DBP, and urgent strategies should be considered for managing the disease.

Abstract Background Obesity is a known risk factor for atherosclerosis and cardiac disease. Hypothesis This study evaluated the effect of significant weight loss following bariatric surgery on myocardial deformation indices and right ventricular size (RV). This was a prospective cohort study. Morbid obese patients scheduled for bariatric surgery from July 2017 to February 2018 at Firoozgar Hospital were included in our study and referred for transthoracic echocardiography at Rajaie Cardiovascular Medical and Research Center. Results Thirty-four patients entered the study. The absolute value of global longitudinal strain (GLS) at baseline, 3, and 6 months after surgery was 17.42 ± 2.94%, 18.24 ± 3.09%, and 19.52 ± 2.78%, respectively, with a statistically significant difference from baseline to after six months (P value

Drought stress is one of the most impactive factors of severe modification in plant physiology eventually leading to a reduction in crop productivity. A split plot-factorial experiment was conducted at the Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources University of Khuzestan in the 2021-2022 growing season to investigate the effects of irrigation interruption and plant density on spring rapeseed genotypes. The experiment was set up in a randomized complete block design with three replications. The experimental treatments included three levels of irrigation as main plot: (I) (1. Control: no interruption of irrigation, 2. Interruption of irrigation at the beginning of flowering (phenology code 60) until the formation of 50% of the pods (phenology code 75) and 3. Interruption of irrigation at the stage of panicle formation (phenology code 99) until the stage harvest (phenology code 99)) and three levels of plant density (D) (80, 110 and 140 plants per square meter) and canola genotypes (G) (Hayola 4815 and Aram) were arranged in subplots. The study evaluated various sensitivity and tolerance indices to stress, and results showed that the triple interaction effect of IDG on cell membrane stability, photosynthetic pigments, grain protein content, grain yield, and canopy temperature was significant. Significant interaction effects were also observed between IG on grain oil content, DG, and I×D on relative water content leaf (LRWC). The genotype that demonstrated superior tolerance to drought stress had higher values for indices such as STI, YI, MP, GMP, and HM. In general, the highest grain yield was observed in control treatment and density of 110 plants M2 and genotype of Hayola4815 (1572.6 kg. ha-1) and the lowest was observed from interruption of irrigation at the stage of pods formation until harvest and plant density of 140 plants per M2 and Aram genotype (661.87 kg. ha -1).

While text-based CAPTCHAs have been the predominant type of human interaction proofs (HIPs) for many years, image recognition challenges have also gained significant attention. This trend is due, on one hand, to groundbreaking advancements in solving text CAPTCHAs and, on the other hand, to the intrinsic weakness of machines in dealing with cognitive tasks such as those presented in image CAPTCHAs. In addition to classic and even human-centric image CAPTCHA solvers, deep learning has recently emerged as a significant player, providing two unprecedented and, at the same time, contradictory advantages for designers and adversaries. Designers benefit from deep learning techniques to make CAPTCHAs as hard to break as possible, while adversaries utilize deep learning algorithms to attack novel and complicated image-based challenges. Given these premises, this paper presents an analytical study on the applications of deep learning for and against image CAPTCHAs. This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the latest advancements in the field, assisting researchers and practitioners in designing image CAPTCHAs that are both user-friendly and resilient against modern attacks.

Although numerical water quality models offer valuable insights into thermal stratification (TSn) and mixing dynamics in lakes, they are often resource and time consuming, limiting their applications for investigating a large number of lakes over a wide geographical area. An alternative approach is using well-known thermal classification systems, which require minimum data to provide acceptable information on TSn and mixing patterns in lakes. This study investigates the TSn and mixing regimes in 198 dam reservoirs located in Iran, using Lewis’s method for analysis. The results highlight that all 198 investigated reservoirs in Iran can be represented by six out of eight possible thermal classifications. The majority of the northeastern reservoirs are categorized as “warm monomictic”. For the reservoirs located in the north and northwest regions, all six thermal classes are observed. However, in the southern part of Iran, only the reservoirs of “continuous warm polymictic”, “warm monomictic”, and “discontinuous cold polymictic” types are located. Our findings reveal that 35.4%, 21.2%, 17.2%, 13.1%, 6.6%, and 5.6% of the investigated reservoirs were classified as “warm monomictic”, “discontinuous cold polymictic”, “continuous cold polymictic”, “dimictic”, “discontinuous warm polymictic”, and “continuous warm polymictic”, respectively. Our results can provide authorities with initial insights for further in-depth studies and decision-making into water quality management in Iran and enhancement strategies for the reservoirs in the country.

Purpose: Pistachio is a crusial agricultural product in Iran, but its contamination with various micro-organisms can cause problems in production, consumption, and export. Peracetic acid is an antimicrobial substance that can eliminate a wide range of micro-organisms quickly. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of peracetic acid in reducing microbial contamination of pistachios in processing terminals. Research method: Harvested pistachios were treated with concentrations of 0 (control), 1, and 2% peracetic acid at the washing basin of the terminal. Then microbial growth, bacterial and fungal population, lipid percentage, and peroxide number of pistachio kernels were evaluated at 0 and 6 months after treatment. Findings: The results showed that both 1 and 2% peracetic acid inhibited bacterial and fungal growth by about 100% and reduced microbial flora growth by more than 90%. As there was no significant difference between 1 and 2% peracetic acid, the final recommendation is to use 1% concentration. After 6 months, the contamination level increased by about 5%, possibly due to storage conditions and contamination in subsequent stages. Different concentrations of peracetic acid did not have a significant effect on lipid percentage or peroxide number of pistachio kernels. Research limitations: As the treatment time with peracetic acid in the washing basin is uncontrollable, this factor has been eliminated in this research. Originality/Value: The study confirms the importance of using peracetic acid in the terminals to reduce and control pistachio contamination without producing harmful by-products. Economic evaluation also showed that using 1% peracetic acid for disinfecting pistachios in processing terminals is cost-effective.

Application of sulfur to control the common pistachio psylla has been nowadays popular. The psylla is one of the main pistachios’ pests. Aspergillus flavus, the most important aflatoxin producer, has a strong impact in the mycoflora of pistachio orchards. The present study has been conducted to determine the effects of sulfur on A. flavus. Therefore, a toxigenic A. flavus strain was cultured on potato dextrose agar (PDA) medium, and the effects of mineral sulfur, refinery sulfur and sodium metabisulfite were closely monitored on fungal mycelial dry weight, germination of spores, germ tube and mycelium germination. The Fungal parameters measurement for sulfur vapor exposure and sulfur addition to the culture medium declared no significant effect on the growth of A. flavus mycelium in the direct addition. But sulfur in liquid medium as well as in high concentrations caused mycelial dry weight loss. Importantly, the sublimation of 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10, 25 and 50 gm-3 from the refinery sulfur, prevented completely the growth of germinated spores and mycelial. Significantly, the complete inhibition of spore germination was observed at a concentration level of 2 g m-3 and also sodium metabisulfite prevented the growth of A. flavus at a concentration of 15 g l-1 culture medium. The sulfur usage in culture medium declared no inhibition of A. flavus growth, but at high concentrations in liquid medium, it reduced mycelial dry weight. Therefore, it is found that the sulfur application in any kind to control of psylla would not probably effect significantly on the aflatoxigenic A. flavus.

In this paper, a novel method for a multi-objective and risk-based optimal reactive power dispatch is proposed. The method includes two main objective functions: technical and economic. The technical objective involves minimizing the risks of voltage instability, voltage deviation, and flow violation, and the economic objective involves minimizing the costs of reactive power generation, active power losses, load shedding, and active power rescheduling. Using these functions and assigning different weighting factors for each sub-objective, the risk of the events or uncertainties to customers or the grid can be managed. In addition, moment matching is used to discretize and create scenarios from continues probability distribution functions of wind speed and electrical energy uncertainties. As the number of uncertain variables increases, so does the number of scenarios and the simulation time. Therefore, the fast-forward selection algorithm is applied to reduce the number of scenarios. To reduce the computational complexity and the number of topological scenarios, a new contingency filtering method based on high-risky events is proposed. A modified multi-objective PSO algorithm based on a hybrid PSO with sine-cosine acceleration coefficients is proposed to find the Pareto front of solutions. The method is implemented on the modified IEEE 30-bus test system. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, the results are compared with previously published literature. The results show that risk-based scheduling increases system reliability and cost-effectiveness compared to traditional scheduling.

Purpose Hemorrhoids are the most common benign anorectal diseases. Mucopexy strengthens the anal canal mucosa, which can be performed alone or in combination with Doppler-guided hemorrhoidal artery ligation (DG-HAL). In this study, we compared the postoperative complications between simple mucopexy plus HAL with and without a Doppler guide. Methods This study was performed as a single-blinded randomized clinical trial. Patients referred to a tertiary colorectal referral clinic with grades 3 and 4 hemorrhoids who were candidates for surgical intervention entered the study. Thirty-six patients were randomly divided into 2 groups. Group A including 18 patients underwent mucopexy and DG-HAL and the other 18 patients (group B) underwent standard mucopexy and HAL without a Doppler guide. Postoperative pain score and the duration of oral analgesic consumption were recorded. Additionally, postoperative symptoms and complications were recorded and compared between the 2 methods. Results There was no significant difference between the 2 groups in terms of pain score and the duration of postoperative analgesic consumption as well as the incidence of postoperative complications. Besides, the primary grade of hemorrhoids was not significantly associated with recurrence, but there was a significant association between body mass index and Wexner score (WS) with recurrence. The mean WS of patients showed a significant decrease in both groups postoperatively. However, the rate of WS reduction was not remarkably different between the 2 groups. Conclusion Simple mucopexy with blind HAL (without Doppler guide) might be considered for the treatment of grades 3 and 4 hemorrhoids effectively.

Abstract Mastitis is known as intramammary inflammation, which has a multifactorial complex phenotype. However, the underlying molecular pathogenesis of mastitis remains poorly understood. In this study, we utilized a combination of RNA-seq and miRNA-seq techniques, along with computational systems biology approaches, to gain a deeper understanding of the molecular interactome involved in mastitis. We retrieved and processed one hundred transcriptomic libraries, consisting of 50 RNA-seq and 50 matched miRNA-seq data, obtained from milk-isolated monocytes of Holstein–Friesian cows, both infected with Streptococcus uberis and non-infected controls. Using the weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) approach, we constructed co-expressed RNA-seq-based and miRNA-seq-based modules separately. Module-trait relationship analysis was then performed on the RNA-seq-based modules to identify highly-correlated modules associated with clinical traits of mastitis. Functional enrichment analysis was conducted to understand the functional behavior of these modules. Additionally, we assigned the RNA-seq-based modules to the miRNA-seq-based modules and constructed an integrated regulatory network based on the modules of interest. To enhance the reliability of our findings, we conducted further analyses, including hub RNA detection, protein–protein interaction (PPI) network construction, screening of hub-hub RNAs, and target prediction analysis on the detected modules. We identified a total of 17 RNA-seq-based modules and 3 miRNA-seq-based modules. Among the significant highly-correlated RNA-seq-based modules, six modules showed strong associations with clinical characteristics of mastitis. Functional enrichment analysis revealed that the turquoise module was directly related to inflammation persistence and mastitis development. Furthermore, module assignment analysis demonstrated that the blue miRNA-seq-based module post-transcriptionally regulates the turquoise RNA-seq-based module. We also identified a set of different RNAs, including hub-hub genes, hub-hub TFs (transcription factors), hub-hub lncRNAs (long non-coding RNAs), and hub miRNAs within the modules of interest, indicating their central role in the molecular interactome underlying the pathogenic mechanisms of S. uberis infection. This study provides a comprehensive insight into the molecular crosstalk between immunoregulatory mRNAs, miRNAs, and lncRNAs during S. uberis infection. These findings offer valuable directions for the development of molecular diagnosis and biological therapies for mastitis.

Tourmaline is a borosilicate mineral with general formula of XY3Z6[T6O18](BO3)3V3W. Experimental studies demonstrate a wide range of stability for tourmaline-supergroup minerals to record different geological processes. They occur in metamorphic, granitic pegmatites, and clastic sedimentary rocks and are associated with hydrothermal activities (Dutrow and Henry, 2011; Slack and Trumbull, 2011). Textural and compositional features of tourmaline can be used as an indicator of environment in which it crystallized. Tourmaline from porphyry deposits generally show a. frequently crystal zoning, b. development from Fe-rich to Mg-rich, and c. total Mg content is ~2 apfu in copper deposits and 1-2 apfu in Au deposits (Baksheev et al., 2012). It is believed that the world-class Dashkasan gold deposit records the transformation of porphyry to low-sulfide epithermal (Richards et al., 2006). The Dashkasan gold deposit located in the Kurdistan Province can be a significant region for better understanding the origin and the evolution of ore-forming fluids using chemistry of tourmaline. For the present study, we also tried to apply fluid inclusions data on quartz-tourmaline-pyrite veins from the Dashkasan deposit.Materials and MethodsPolished-thin sections of various tourmalines of the Dashkasan deposit were examined using a Cameca SX100 Electron Probe Micro Analysis (EPMA) at the Iran Mineral Processing Research Center, Karaj. Fluid inclusion studies were performed on quartz crystals of quartz-tourmaline-pyrite veins. The microthermometric parametes of fluid inclsions were measured by Linkam-THMS-600 stage at the University of Isfahan.Results and DiscussionThe Dashkasan gold deposit with 52 Mt of oxidized ore and average grades of 1.77 g/t Au is hosted by the Middle-Miocene porphyritic dacite/rhyodacite and dacitic breccia rocks. The main minerals are quartz, K-feldspar, hornblende and biotite mainly altered.. This deposit is characterized by the transition from the porphyry to the epidermal system with the presence of tourmaline minerals in phyllic and silicification alteration associated with gold veins. As petrographic examination shows tourmaline occurs as disseminated, vein/veinlet, and breccia textures in three types: Tur-1 occurred as needle shape in dacitic rocks associated with phyllic alteration; Tur-2 crystallized as radial shape mainly coexisting with silicification; and Tur-3 with elongated shape is present in dacitic breccia with phyllic alteration.Mineral ChemistryThe geochemical composition of three types tourmalines points to the nature and the evolution of ore-forming fluids. Electron microprobe analyses of the studied tourmalines indicate that the Tur-1 and Tur-3 are dravite, and the Tur-2 is dravite to schorl in composition and they belong to alkaline group. The third type, unlike the other two, is characterized by poor zoning and higher values of Na, K, Fe, Mg and lower values of Ca. On Fetot-Ca-Mg ternary diagram, they plotted in the Ca-poor metapelites, metapsammites, and quartz-tourmaline rocks host. Magmatic genesis inferred from the higher Fe/(Fe+Mg) ratio for Tur-1 and Tur-2, while this ratio in the Tur-3 is different and shifted towards hydrothermal source.Microthermometric StudyRichards et al. (2006) present the fluid inclusion assemblages from quartz-tourmaline veins in sericitized wall rocks in the Dashkasan deposit consisting of hypersaline and rare vapor-rich inclusion. They have homogenization temperatures of 246° to 360 ℃, yielding salinities of 34.4 to 46.1 wt% NaCl equiv. (Richards et al., 2006). Fluids inclusions studies on quartz-tourmaline-pyrite veins related to transition between stage-1 and stage-2 of mineralization in the Dashkasan shows a salinity values from 15.9 to 16.8 wt% NaCl equiv. and homogenization temperature values between 185° to 254 °C.ConclusionsOn the basis of optical and scanning electron microscopy, three tourmaline types(Turs -1,-2 and -3) in the Dashkasan deposit, can be distinguished. Despite the lack of zoning in Tur-1 and Tur-2, the third type displays the poor zoning. The first-and the third-types of tourmalines are dravite (Mg-rich), whereas the second-type is dravite to schorl in composition. Magmatic genesis is reflected by higher Ʃ(Fe+Mg) and FeO/(MgO+FeO) ratios for the first two types. While these ratios in the Tur-3 is different and shifted toward hydrothermal source. To sum up, the occurrence of quartz-tourmaline-pyrite veins in the Dashkasan deposit is due to the existence of a fault system under the physicochemical performance of the ore-mineralized fluid by a sudden depressurization and probably gradual mixing with shallow water.AcknowledgmentsWe thank Dr. Gholizadeh and Dr. Shabanian for their assistance with experiments for EPMA. Background and objectives: Fluoroquinolones are a class of broad-spectrum antimicrobials typically used for the treatment of lower urinary tract infections. We aimed to determine the frequency of quinolone resistance genes in Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates from urinary tract infections in Guilan Province, Iran. Methods: The resistance of 114 clinical isolates of K. pneumoniae to common fluoroquinolones and the minimum inhibitory concentration of ciprofloxacin were determined by disk diffusion and broth microdilution methods, respectively. Frequency of five plasmid-mediated quinolone resistance (PMQR) genes including qnrA, qnrB, qnrS, qepA, and aac (6')-Ib-cr was determined by PCR. Results. According to phenotypic assays, 60 isolates (52.6%) were resistant to at least one quinolone compound, 42 isolates (36.8%) were resistant to all tested quinolones, and 28 isolates (24.6%) showed a high level of ciprofloxacin resistance. In addition, aac(6')-Ib-cr was the most common PMQR gene (𝑛 = 44), followed by qnrS (𝑛 = 32), and qnrB (𝑛 = 21). Conclusion: The possible dissemination of PMQR genes poses a serious threat to the management of infections by resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae.

Abstract Background Crown imperial (Fritillaria imperialis L.) is a threatened bulbous plant which has great ornamental and medicinal values and importance. In the present study, a total of 100 specimens of wild-growing F. imperialis from 10 natural areas of Markazi province, Iran, representing one of the main centers of genetic diversity of this species, were evaluated using 37 phenotypic attributes during April 2021. Results High level of genetic variation within populations (75%) and low levels of genetic variation among populations (25%) was revealed. The highest coefficient of variation (CV) was found in leaf trichome (82.00%) and then margin of crown leaves (80.44%). In addition, flower color (CV = 50.86%), flower number (CV = 44.61%), peduncle diameter (CV = 33.44%), and plant length (CV = 32.55%)—all important from an ornamental point of view- showed relatively high CV values. The CV was the lowest for flower shape, filament color, bulb shape, bulblet number, and floral scent. Ward cluster analysis identified two main clusters, containing 14 and 86 specimens, respectively. The first group consisted mainly of specimens from the adjacent Shahbaz and Rasvand populations. According to the principal component analysis (PCA), the first six components of data accounted for 88.36% of total variance. The Shahbaz-1, Shahbaz-2, Shahbaz-6, Shahbaz-7, Shahbaz-9, and Bolagh-8 specimens showed the highest variation and were separated from others, which they can be used further in breeding programs, while Sarchal-2, Bolagh-3, and Chepeqli-4 specimens showed the lowest variability. Moreover, the studied populations were clustered into four distinct groups, each including populations that were geographically close to one another. Conclusions Although the examined specimens revealed high genetic diversity herein, the results indicated that wild-growing populations of F. imperialis are still at risk suffering from overcollection in the most of studied areas, especially in Deh-Sad and Tureh.

ObjectiveConservation of the genetic diversity of indigenous animals is very important. For the sustainable use of genetic resources, it is necessary to first study the genetic structure of populations. The main goals of this research were to identify the population structure of Turkmen and Darehshori horses using dense SNP markers and to compare the effectiveness of PCA, DAPC, and SPC methods in clustering these populations.Materials and methodsFor this purpose, 67 Turkmen and 39 Darehshori horses were genotyped using Illumina EquineSNP70 BeadChip. After applying quality control steps, five Turkmen horses and one Darehshori horse were removed. Then, the structure of populations was identified by three methods of principal component analysis (PCA), discriminant analysis of principal components (DAPC), and superparamagnetic clustering (SPC). These methods do not depend on previous assumptions and make it possible to analyze very large genome databases without prior knowledge of individual ancestry. These methods are also very fast and efficient.ResultsThis study compared the efficiency of these three clustering methods in identifying population structures. All three methods were successful in separating the two breeds, and Turkmen and Darehshori breeds were grouped into separate genetic groups. The difference is that the DAPC method only separated the two main populations, but the PCA and SPC methods could identify several subpopulations in each breed. The results of this study showed that the SPC method for studying the population structure of indigenous breeds with unknown information can be more useful than other methods. Therefore, using this method, a suitable program can be designed to conserve and use genetic resources.ConclusionsPCA, DAPC, and SPC methods were able to successfully identify the genetic structure of Turkmen and Darehshori breeds, and in general, it can be said that the information obtained from dense SNP markers can be a powerful tool for identifying the population structure of indigenous breeds.

A new species, Hottentotta pooyanisp. nov. is described and illustrated using two female specimens collected from the Khuzestan Province inIran. This species is compared with the closely species including H. khoozestanus Navidpour, Kovařík, Soleglad & Fet, 2008; H. pellucidus Lowe, 2010 and H. saxinatans Lowe, 2010 that were previously described in Iran and Oman.

ObjectiveHoneybees, as pollinating insects, are an important part of nature. Because behavioral traits are so important in honeybees, comparing brain tissue transcriptomes of the two subspecies with aggressive and calm behavioral characteristics makes it possible to understand this behavioral difference genetically. This study aimed to investigate to gene expression profile and identify the key genes in brain tissue in Italian (Apis Mellifera Ligustica) and African (Apis mellifera Scutellata) honeybees concerning behavioral traits. The Italian honeybee has calm behavioral characteristics, while the African is known as an aggressive honeybee.Materials and methodsRNA-Seq data were obtained from the NCBI (GEO) database, and after pre-processing of reads, the brain tissue transcriptomes of both subspecies were aligned and mapped on the honey bee reference genome (v A.mel 4.5), and then data qualification, transcriptome assembly, differential expression analysis, and gene ontology were performed.ResultsDifferential gene expression analysis identified 16,701 genes on the honeybee reference genome, of which 22 genes in brain tissue between the two subspecies had significant differential expression (adj p-value 2). As well, some of these genes were first identified. Gene ontology analysis showed that among these 22 genes, such as ITPR, MRJP, HSP70Ab, MBS, GB45410, and Def1 are directly or indirectly involved in the occurrence of various traits such as defensive, health behavior, reproductive, heat, light, and smell sensitivity. In addition, the SNPs encoding the honeybee brain tissue genome were identified in both subspecies, and 99636 SNPs were identified in the Italian, and 92514 SNPs were identified in the African subspecies.ConclusionsRNA-seq data, due to its high throughput, can provide us with accurate information about the expression of genes in different tissues in various subspecies. Abstract Background Non-communicable diseases are imposing a considerable burden on Iran. This study aims to assess the Return on Investment (ROI) for implementation of Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) prevention program in Iran. Methods Four disease groups including cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancer, and respiratory diseases were included in our ROI analysis. The study followed four steps: 1) Estimating the total economic burden of NCDs using the Cost-of-Illness approach. 2) Estimating the total costs of implementing clinical and preventive interventions using an ingredient based costing at delivering level and a program costing method at central level.3) Calculating health impacts and economic benefits of interventions using the impact measures of avoided incidence, avoided mortality, healthy life years (HLYs) gained, and avoided direct treatment costs. 4) Calculating the ROI for each intervention in 5- and 15- year time horizons. Results The total economic burden of NCDs to the Iranian economy was IRR 838.49 trillion per year (2018), which was equivalent to 5% of the country’s annual Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The package of NCD will lead to 549 000 deaths averted and 2 370 000 healthy life years gained over 15 years, and, financially, Iranian economy will gain IRR 542.22 trillion over 15 years. The highest ROI was observed for the package of physical activity interventions, followed by the interventions addressing salt, tobacco package and clinical interventions. Conclusions NCDs in Iran are causing a surge in health care costs and are contributing to reduced productivity. Those actions to prevent NCDs in Iran, as well as yielding to a notable health impact, are giving a good economic return to the society. This study underscores an essential need for establishment of a national multi-sectorial NCD coordination mechanism to bring together and strengthen existing cross-agency initiatives on NCDs.

Introduction The Saveh-Kashan-Qom copper belt, in the northern part of the Urumieh-Dokhtar Magmatic Arc (UDMA) consists of two of the oldest (gold and copper) zones in Iran (Samani, 1998; Rajabpour et al., 2017) where Upper Eocene-Oligocene Mard Abad-Bouin Zahra volcanic suite is situated. This volcanic suite hosts several copper deposits including Jarou, Gomosh Dasht, Ghezel Cheshme, Bidestan and Afshar Abad that are known as the "Kuh-e-Jarou Mining District". The Kuh-e-Jarou Mining District has a total potential ore reserve of 2 Mt Cu with an average grade of 3 wt.% (Zar-Azin Gostar Consultant Engineering Co., 2009). Upper Eocene volcanic and pyroclastic rocks of rhyodacite, trachyandesite, andesite, and trachytic tuff with high-K calc-alkaline to shoshonitic affinity consist of the main host rocks for Cu mineralization. These units are primarily intruded by post Eocene intrusive bodies. The geochemistry and genesis of ore bodies have not been fully understood since most previous studies in this area have been focused on petrology of volcanic and intrusive rocks. Moreover, the main purpose of this study is to investigate mineralization style, geometry, and textural-structural features of orebodies, alterations, and fluid inclusions with implication for genesis of Jarou, Gomosh Dasht, Ghezel Cheshme, Bidestan and Afshar Abad copper deposits. In addition, this research provides more insight into understanding geology and mineralization conditions in the study area with an implication for future exploration. Materials and methods Seventeen thin polished sections from the ores and the host rocks were prepared and they were studied by a transmitted/reflected polarizing microscope in the Iran Mineral Processing Research Center (Karaj, Iran). Five rock powdered samples were also analyzed using X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectrometry (X′ pert Philips) in order to identify the mineralogy of clay minerals in the mineralogy laboratory of Salamanca University (Spain). Fluid inclusion microthermometry was performed using a Linkam THMS600 heating-freezing stage (-190 to +600 °C) mounted on a ZEISS Axioplan2 microscope in the fluid inclusion laboratory of the Iranian Mineral Processing Research Center (Karaj, Iran). Salinities (wt.% NaCl eq.), density (g/cm3) and pressure (bars) were calculated using the FLINCOR v.1.4 (Brown, 1989) and FLUIDS (Bakker, 2012). Results and discussion The orebody is controlled by a series of feather-like ruptures and faults and its dominant mineral compositions are chalcopyrite and chalcocite with minor amounts of pyrite, galena, bornite and sphalerite. The gangue minerals are quartz, barite, calcite and chlorite. Four types of hydrothermal alterations including chloritization, sulfidization, silicification and epidotization were recognized. Based on field and petrographic studies, three mineralization stages were distinguished including (1) the pre-ore mineralization stage characterized by fine-grained disseminated pyrites, (2) the main hydrothermal stage consisting of three substages: I) an early quartz-chalcopyrite ± bornite vein, II) middle bornite-chalcocite ± covellite breccia ore, III) late galena and sphalerite inclusions, and (3) late-stage barite and calcite veins. Based on petrographic studies, five types of aqueous fluid inclusions have been distinguished in the quartz-chalcopyrite ± bornite and barite veins including two-phase liquid-rich (LV), two-phase vapor-rich (VL), liquid monophase (L), vapor monophase (V) and minor halite-bearing liquid-rich fluid inclusions (LVS). Aflatoxin is an important fungal contaminant in various crops. The substrate and its compounds are involved in the growth of fungus and the production of toxins. In order to investigate correlation between sugar and lipid content as the major chemical composition of pistachio kernels with Aspergillus flavus growth and aflatoxin production, the total sugar content was extracted by phenol-sulphoric method and estimated by spectrophotometry. The lipid was also extracted by Soxhlet method. A toxigenic A. flavus strain was used for the study of the fungal growth and aflatoxin B1 production. For that, 20 gram of kernels of different pistachio cultivars were inoculated with 1 ml of fungal spore suspension (2×106 spores/ml) in a completely randomized design with three replications. Eight days after inoculation, the average percent of fungal growth and colonization of A. flavus were calculated. The aflatoxin produced in inoculated pistachios was extracted by Best Foods (BF) method and measured by thin layer chromatography (TLC). The results showed that there was no significant difference in the amount of sugar content in different cultivars of pistachios kernel but the amount of total lipid content was different (P≤0.05). Results of statistical analysis showed that there was no significant correlation between sugar content with fungal growth and aflatoxin production in pistachio cultivars as well as lipid percentage and aflatoxin B1 production. Therefore, to find sources of resistance to A. flavus in commercial pistachio cultivars in aflatoxin management programs, these two factors cannot be used as a standard scale of resistance.

Hidden debt is an issue of great concern. The findings of this study show that public sector institutions, especially public non-governmental organizations, government institutions and companies, as well as insurance and pension funds have hidden debts that can cause a crisis for the entire economy. Therefore, considering the current situation in the country and the existence of many hidden and unreported debts in the public sector and the socio-political responsibilities of the government, the need to address the various aspects of reporting debts and liabilities of the public sector and moving towards financial transparency in the public sector seems more necessary than before. This study uses a qualitative method and an approach based on theme analysis to identify the factors affecting public sector debt reporting in Iran. This qualitative study, using purposeful sampling method (snowball), gathers data from 20 experts with expertise and experience in the public sector in the form of semi-structured interviews about the factors affecting public sector debts reporting in four Areas. The areas are including scope of the public sector (Institutional Coverage), type of debts and liabilities of the public sector (instrument Coverage), valuation of debt instrument and appropriate reporting framework of debts and liabilities of the public. Then, the interviews are transcribed and coded by theme analysis method. This study identifies out of 494 open source codes; 12 Level 1 sub-themes, 33 Level 2 sub-themes and 5 main teams including significance and necessity, classification criteria, sizes and levels, classification and reporting, which are determined as components of public sector debt reporting.

Subject and purpose of the article: The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive model for Accountability in accounting from an Islamic perspective with a focus on Structuration Theory from the field of social theories.Research method: The present study is quantitative in terms of implementation method. In a quantitative way, the correlation method based on confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling was used. The statistical population of the study includes public sector accountants and auditors and members of the Society of Certified Public Accountants who were selected by available sampling method of 250 people. The research tool is a questionnaire extracted from the research literature.Research findings: Analysis of data in a quantitative part in the form of structural equation model showed that the effects of 6 areas including accountability approach, accountability levels, accountability dimensions, accountability elements, accountability principles, accountability strengthening on accountability of the accounting system were significant.Conclusion, originality and its contribution to the knowledge: Islamic model with focus on agency in the theory of construction and emphasis on moral values in the formation of social systems, the language of accountability in the accounting system evolves and dynamics.

In the last decade, we have seen attention and scientific research in using technology, especially the mobile technology, in education. The critical effects of technology in child education are increasing motivation, the self-confidence of children and their group cooperation. The purpose of this research is to provide a child educational recommender system using mobile technology, which includes decision making and real-time monitoring of the educational status of each child, personalization of educational materials based on the educational status of each child, recommendation of educational materials based on the extent of their dissemination in the children’s educational network, etc. In this research, the type of research based on the objective is applied research. The statistical population includes children between the ages of 8 and 10 years. The child’s educational recommender system includes input, processing and output. The mobile technology was used to track each child’s educational activity and educational status and turn them into input keywords of the recommender system. In the processing section, various matching functions are provided to match each child’s detected educational status with the educational documents. Finally, in the output section, educational documents adapted to each child’s needs are e-mailed to the mobile phone of the child’s parents. Because children cannot recognize and express their educational needs, in the proposed recommender system, all phases, from the recognition of children’s educational activity and diagnosis of the educational status of each child to the presentation of educational documents related to the diagnosed educational status, have been done automatically. The educational recommender system is simulated using NetLogo and R. Also, the implementation of the educational recommender system has been done on 36 children. According to the results, the educational recommender system was able to increase children’s learning more than twice.

Objective This study sought to develop and improve the concept of corporate social responsibility. Accordingly, the Institutional Analysis and Development Framework (IAD) was used to answer the following question: What are the social responsibilities of organizations regarding the institutional viewpoint? Is it possible to provide a model for the social responsibility of organizations? Methodology The research paradigm was interpretive with a qualitative approach. This was a case study and qualitative content analysis research. Fuzzy Delphi and DEMATEL were used to analyze the gathered data. Data were collected by in-depth unstructured interviews and the snowball sampling method was applied to select the interviewees. After conducting the interviews and analyzing the data, the fuzzy Delphi method was used to identify the institutional factors affecting the development and improvement of corporate social responsibility. Findings The interviews were analyzed via qualitative content analysis and by MAXQDA software. Accordingly, seven main concepts were extracted: norms and ethical principles, social legitimacy, culture building, observance of rules and regulations, institutional pressures, characteristics of society, material or physical conditions of society. In order to summarize the experts' opinions about the relationship among the main concepts derived from the interviews, the results were sent to eight university professors as well as five experienced managers. After three times of analyzing and summarizing the comments, irrelevant or very insignificant concepts were removed. Eventually, three main variables and four mediating variables were identified. Conclusion To develop and improve the concept of corporate social responsibility with an institutional perspective, the framework of institutional analysis and development was used to identify cultural and social characteristics in society, laws, and regulations related to corporate social responsibility, and to clarify how managers adhere to these rules. Also, during the interactions of individuals, the role of unwritten norms and rules related to social responsibility and the capacity to guide or prevent laws and norms in guiding behaviors were considered. The results proved that laws and regulations have a mediating and marginal role in the formation of social responsibility of organizations, but how to implement the laws is a part of corporate social responsibility. The obtained results indicated that the social responsibility in organizations does not occur either independently in a social vacuum and to achieve the internal and external legitimacy of the organization, the social relations of organizations should be considered in normative, ethical, or cultural formats. Of course, laws, institutional pressures, societal characteristics, and economic conditions of organizations are also influential. The results of this study also showed that, unlike Western companies that seek social legitimacy in accordance with the laws, in Iranian companies, social legitimacy is affected by ethics and social norms. In addition, the current study indicated that corporate social responsibility is not a systematic behavior and it appears in critical conditions.

Background: Scabies is referred to the infestation of skin by an ectoparasite, Sarcoptes scabiei. Having considerable financial consequences, this disease is a public health concern in several countries. In this review, we aimed to deter­mine the current status of scabies in different provinces of Iran. Methods: Google Scholar, PubMed, Scopus, Science Direct, Scientific Information Database (SID), Sci-explore, Civil­ica, Magiran, Iranian Research Institute for Information Science and Technology and Elmnet databases were searched to find the related data in the time period within 2000–2022. To have a better insight into the status of prevalence of sca­bies in Iran, a meta-analysis and meta-regression was performed. Results: A total of 943 relevant studies were retrieved from the databases, and 62 eligible studies met all the needed criteria for inclusion in this systematic review. Scabies was investigated and reported in at least 22 and 21 provinces of Iran respectively. Most of the studies were conducted in Tehran, Razavi Khorasan, Hormozgan, Fars and Guilan Prov­inces. Positive samples of scabies belonged to humans, sheep, goats, dogs, rabbits, mice and gazelles. Meta-analysis showed that the overall estimated presence of scabies in Iran during 2000–2022 was 7% (95% CI 4.7–10.3%, P< 0.001). Conclusion: Infestations due to S. scabiei in Iran occur in different geographical locations and different climates. As a neglected tropical disease, the literature about the burden of scabies in Iran is inadequate. The present review highlights the importance of development of comprehensive strategies for the diagnosis and control of scabies, especial­ly the provinces with high infestation rates.

The most important goal in human life is to achieve happiness, and because people are subject to certain ideas and beliefs and have a different system of thought, it has led to different interpretations of happiness. If the Sufis interpret happiness around the orbit of inner happiness in the soul, not related to material achievements such as money, children, prestige, offspring, and others, then this is different from the interpretation of the happiness of two Muslim philosophers, Ibn Sīnā and al-Fārābī. In this article, with a descriptive-analytical method and using library resources, we first try to study the lexicon of the word happiness and the views of other thinkers in this regard, in the following, what are happiness, the levels of happiness, and the classification of happiness in the intellectual system of Ibn Sīnā and al-Fārābī. Happiness in Ibn Sīnā and al-Fārābī's thought is the same concern of human perfectionism from the beginning of creation, and this has caused these two philosophers to discuss this in their different works, and both philosophers do not know human happiness as anything other than reaching God and His pleasure.

Enhanced external counterpulsation (EECP) is believed to be a non-invasive treatment for coronary artery disease and angina. The aim of this study was to determine the safety and effectiveness of EECP in refractory angina patients through a systematic reviews and meta-analysis. We conducted a comprehensive search of the literature published on PubMed, Cochrane library, Scopus, ScienceDirect, Trip Database and Google Scholar databases using appropriate keywords and specific strategy with no time limit. Having selected and screened the studies based on the defined inclusion and exclusion criteria and evaluating their quality based on the Cochrane checklist. For the meta-analysis,the Mantel-Haenszel method or the generic Inverse Variance was used. Analyses were done with Review Manager 5.2 software. A number of 299 studies were initially reviewed and finally, seventeen studies were included in the meta-analysis based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Also, thirteen outcomes were analyzed and the results of meta-analysis in twelve outcomes including (Systolic Blood Pressure (7 studies), Diastolic Blood Pressure (7 studies), Pulse Pressure (4 studies), Mean Arterial Pressures (4 studies), Heart Rate (6 studies), Angina episodes (7 studies), Walking distance (2 studies),Canadian Cardiovascular Society classification (6 studies), Flow-Mediated Dilation (3 studies), Daily Nitrate Usage (4 studies), Exercise Treadmill Test-Time (2 studies), ST-segment depression (2 studies)demonstrated a significant clinical advantage in the EECP treatment effectiveness in patients with angina. No significant difference was observed regarding EECP usefulness (P = 0.18) in the outcome of brachial artery diameter (2 studies). Based on the meta-analysis, the results indicate the safety and effectiveness of EECP in patients with angina pectoris and indicate the usefulness of this treatment in these patients. In general, the authors believe that the general conclusion in this regard requires some studies with a large sample size and a control group assignment.

The term business model (BM) is one of the topics that has recently been addressed in the area of accounting literature. The weaknesses in current reporting, including failure to meet social responsibility goals, have led the researcher to identify the components of the financial reporting based on the theoretical foundations associated with the concept of business model (BM). Since the present study is a qualitative research, in the first step in order to collect qualitative data, a framework for semi-structured queries with experts was developed. Subsequently, 23 well-known academic and executive experts in the field of financial reporting and business were selected through purposeful sampling (snowball). The transcribed interviews were coded in the second phase using inductive thematic analysis. In inductive theme analysis, patterns emerge during the analysis by placing open source or sub-themes together in one main theme. In summary, in the current study out of a total of 350 open source codes and 24 sub-themes, 6 main themes were identified as transparency and narrative, social accountability, users, key drivers, justice and fairness in reporting and presentation and disclosure. Financial reporting and information disclosure are important management tools for effectively transferring information to stakeholders. Reliable and timely financial reporting enables individuals to accurately assess their future prospects. Therefore, by re-engineering the financial statements, six key components of financial reporting, inspired by the business model (BM) approach, can be a major step in re-engineering financial statements to improve the information content of financial statements.

Abstract Background: Lice are obligate parasites that bring about some mild infestation or severe diseases on different parts of the human body. Head lice can easily spread in an overcrowded community with inadequate hygienic conditions. Also, it affects children’s well-being and education programs. Methods: This study is a narrative review. To carry out this comprehensive research about pediculosis in Iran, all published data on scientific research resources were included i.e. Google scholar, Springer, ProQuest, JSTOR, Scopus, Web of Science, EBSCO, Bioline, BioOne, ScienceDirect, ResearchGate, PubMed, Sage, Wiley Online Library, World Scientific, and SID. Results: Overall, 52,342 students (from primary and secondary schools) and around 20,000 adult persons were infested with P. capitis in Iran during 3 decades (1990-2020) as reported by published documents but the actual number may statistically be higher. The variation of results implies that risk factors are linked with numerous cultural, geographical, economic, and personal habits. In general, the infestation rate of Pediculosis capitis in the south and southeast was higher than in other parts of Iran. Conclusion: Family members shouldavoid sharing hair tools particularly hairbrushes. Background Obstructive defecation syndrome (ODS) affects quality of life of patients to a great extent by disturbing defecation. Laparoscopic ventral mesh rectopexy (LVMR) has gained much attention in the recent years. Common synthetic used meshes have a risk of erosion for adjacent pelvic organs leading to some complications. The aim of this study was to assess the outcomes of LVMR using polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) mesh in patients with ODS for the first time. Methods and Materials: In this experimental study, patients with a history of ODS and associated signs and symptoms such as descending perineum, rectocele, enterocele, intussusception, rectal prolapse or a combined disorder were recruited. The patients underwent LVMR using a PVDF mesh. They were followed using the Constipation Scoring System (CSS) score. Participants were followed up for 12 months after surgery. Complications and CSS for each patient and its changes were the main outcomes of this study. Results Of 156 patients, 155 had a 12-month complete follow-up. Thirty-nine (25.2%) were male and 116 (74.8%) female. Mean ± SD age of participants was 45.61 ± 14.02 years. The overall complication rate was 3.87%. No major mesh-related complications were recorded. Four cases (2.58%) of trocar site hernia were reported. Also, two cases (1.29%) of postoperative bleeding occurred. Subject and Purpose of the Article: General Treasury Administration is one of the key units that can increase the efficiency of government financial management. The purpose of this study is to design a framework for improving the financial management of the General Treasury Administration in Iran.Research Method: This study has adopted the qualitative approach and the required data have been collected trough library research and field study. First, the academic literature and regulations are collected and analyzed, and then, the opinions of a focus group on the analysis are synthesized. The theme analysis method has been used to analyze the data.Research Findings: After analyzing the data, 94 initial codes were identified for improving the current situation of the General Treasury Administration's financial management, 50 codes in the rules and regulations section and 44 codes in the processes section. These codes were eventually categorized into six dimensions: budget management (12 codes), public resource management (11 codes), bank account management (13 codes), cost management (14 codes), accounting management, and finance reporting (11 codes), audit management and financial supervision (17 codes).Conclusion, Originality and its Contribution to the Knowledge: The General Treasury Administration has a key role in improving the financial management of the government in the public sector. The proposed framework of this research is the first tool for improving the current state and can help policy-makers in this center.

Staphylococcus aureus is a common bacterial agent of biofilm formation in medical environments. The formed biofilm of this bacterium in bone tissue is one of the main causes of osteomyelitis, which is a serious health issue. Due to the importance of this infection after traumatic injuries or surgical intervention, it is necessary to develop a system that could release the antibiotics at the site of injury, specifically and gradually. The current study aimed to develop a nanosystem composed of single-stranded G-quadreplex DNA aptamer as the bio-recognition element, mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) as the carrier for gradual drug release, and Ampicillin as the cargo to be delivered to the site of infection. In silico methods were used to select an optimum binding aptamer against protein A of S. aureus. The binding of aptamer was confirmed via gel retardation assay, DLS, and Zeta potential analyses. The loading of the drug was confirmed by the FTIR method, and the drug release investigation showed almost 30 % of drug release via 48 h dialysis assay. The acquired results from the biofilm suppression assay indicated that this system provides a significant inhibitory effect against the S. aureus biofilm and has a high potential for the desired drug release to prevent the formation of biofilm, and could destroy the biofilm on the mice bone. The results of the MTT assay proved that this system does not pose a significant toxicity thread for MCF-7 cell viability, as a model for eukaryotic cells. In vivo studies are required to further confirm the efficacy of this system against S. aureus biofilm on bone.

The economic importance along with the high nutritional value of pistachio has necessitated further research on this agricultural product. Its contamination with various microorganisms causes several problems for the production, consumption and export of pistachio every year. Pistachio as a fatty nut is very susceptible to fungal and bacterial contamination and thereby, its shelf life would be reduced. Peracetic acid is a strong oxidizer which can rapidly remove a wide range of microorganisms and is also environmentally safe. In this research, pistachio seeds were firstly treated with different concentrations (0, 1, 2 and 2.5%) of peracetic acid for 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 and 5 min. Then the growth of fungi and bacteria were evaluated. The results indicated that 2% peracetic acid for 0.5 min led to 99% reduction in contaminating microflora . In the next step, the most common microflora contaminating pistachio seeds were detected and exposed to different concentrations of peracetic acid for 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 and 5 min. The results showed that 1% peracetic acid for 0.5 min inhibited the growth of the dominant microflora more than 99%. Peracetic acid treatment in the tested range had no significant effect on lipid content but reduced peroxide value. Therefore, disinfection of pistachio product with a concentration of 1-2% peracetic acid in the washing basins of pistachio processing terminals may be an applicable approach to inhibit their microbial (bacteria and fungi) contamination up to 99% and improve their quality before introducing to the market. However, this idea requires further field research.

Introduction and Objectives: Cockroaches cause food spoilage, mechanical transmission of pathogens, psychological anxiety, and allergic respiratory reactions in humans due to their high adaptation and rapid reproduction. This study aimed to introduce principled and efficient methods for the proper management of cockroach control in human dowelling and present the efficiency of these methods. Materials and Methods: A detailed search was carried out on PubMed, Web of Science, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Scopus, Medline, and Scientific Information Database databases. The search process was performed using the following keywords: "German cockroach management", "Brown-banded cockroach management", "Integrated pest management", "Urban pest control", "Attractive toxic bait", and "Cockroach resistance". Afterward, duplicate and non-efficient articles were removed and, finally, 66 articles published within 1977-2021 were selected to describe the objectives of this study. Results: Based on the results of published articles in recent years, the best approach to cockroach control is the implementation of programs based on an integrated cockroach control strategy. In this strategy, raising the awareness level of personnel and service forces through training aids and holding training courses has a significant impact on the prevention of cockroach infestation. Among the control methods, the use of formulations with the least toxicity has shown significant efficiency in the control of cockroaches. The use of poisonous sorbent bait, especially in the form of gel, could reduce the cockroach population to zero in less than a week. One of the advantages of this formulation is the targeted use of insecticides, reduction of resistance to insecticides, and minimization of environmental pollution and hazards caused by insecticide residues, which has been considered in the integrated control strategy. Conclusions: Integrated cockroach control-based programs in the form of an "integrated management tactics pyramid" can provide the best performance in controlling cockroach infestation in human habitats.

Information disclosure is a multilateral concept and comprises disclosure of information in different financial, corporate governance, and more areas. The main objective of the study is providing a comprehensive disclosure framework in credit institutions through review of valid papers and localization of the disclosure components, taking into account the country's conditions and the law for usury-free banking. To do so, a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods is applied. First, the initial disclosure framework for credit institutions is extracted using the review of relevant literature and applying the meta-synthesis method. Then, through interviews with 16 banking experts and analyzing the obtained data, the framework derived from the previous step is completed and localized. According to the research findings, disclosure of items such as recovery and resolution plan, the amount of directed credits from the government, and so on will contribute to banking industry efficiency.

Accountability-based accounting theoretical framework emphasizes the need for accountability in the accounting system. The present study, considering the importance of sociological theories in accounting knowledge and using Islamic theoretical foundations, seeks to investigate this important issue. The purpose of this study is to explain the concept and components of accountability in accounting from the perspective of Islam with a focus on Structuration Theory. The present article is in the category of qualitative research that has been done in line with the purpose of the research by reviewing scientific and Quranic texts and interviewing 15 Quranic science experts and faculty members of public and private universities in the fields of accounting, sociology, and Islamic sciences. In this study, the obtained information was analyzed by the theme analysis method. The research tools in the qualitative section were in-depth and semi-structured interviews and the research sample was selected using a combination of non-probabilistic, purposeful judgment, and snowball methods. According to the research findings, accountability approach, accountability levels, accountability dimensions, accountable elements, accountability principles, accountability reinforcement were identified as the main research themes that explain the components and model of accounting accountability from the perspective of Islam in the framework of Structuration Theory. The results show that the Islamic model, focusing on agency in Structuration Theory, covers the weaknesses of this theory, including ignoring ethics and strong intentions in an agency. Strengthening agency will lead to strengthening the structure and finally strengthening social systems. This will lead to the flourishing of accountability language in the accounting system.

Aflatoxins are secondary metabolites, which have documented in food and feed such as pistachio.Application of incorrect cultural practices such as animal manures resulted in increasing the density of Aspergillus section Flavi propagules and as consequences increase in aflatoxin content in pistachio nuts. Here, the density of Aspergillus section Flavi propagules, aflatoxin kernel content and characteristics of pistachio fruits in soil surface and fertilizer cannel applications of poultry manure in the orchards in randomized complete block design were compared with control treatment (without poultry manure application). Application of poultry manure on soil surface increased Aspergillus section Flavi propagulesby 4.5 and 11 times higher than compare to those treatments either which not received or in fertilizer channels, respectively. Aflatoxin content in pistachio nuts decreased by 85 and 51 % where poultry manures applied in fertilizer channels and no application compared to surface application, respectively. Overall, poultry manure in fertilizer channel reduced the frequency of blank fruits as well as increasing of splitted nuts and the nuts’ sizes.

Objective: During the last decade, some researchers and accounting professional associations have expressed their interest in applying the concept of business model in their research in order to eliminate the shortcomings and weaknesses of the existing financial reporting. Considering the role and importance of financial reporting as one of the important sources of the available information in capital markets and consequently the researchers’ efforts to increase the quality of financial reporting as a tool for social responsibility and business environment, the present study seeks to provide a model of financial reporting based on the concept of business model with the aim of practically eliminating the weaknesses of the existing financial reporting and increasing the quality of financial reporting. Methodology: The present study is a synthesis study in terms of the nature of data and methods of analysis based on consecutive exploratory strategy. Using this strategy, three general steps have been taken: 1) extraction of the dimensions and components affecting financial reporting based on the concept of business model (qualitative method) using thematic analysis method; 2) determining the indicators of the reporting model and their screening using fuzzy Delphi technique (quantitative method); and 3) introducing the common indicators among the experts and proposing the ultimate model. Findings: After reviewing the results of the qualitative and quantitative stages of the research, the ultimate model was proposed which includes six dimensions of transparency and validity, social accountability, key stimuli, stakeholder management, justice and fairness in the distribution of reports, as well as the presentation and disclosure of information which entails 24 components and 50 indicators that can be used as a native and innovative model for financial reporting. Conclusion: With the increasing need for information about the operations of business units, it seems that traditional financial reporting can not meet all the demands of the users. The results of the fuzzy Delphi technique in this study also showed that none of the 62 indicators were observed in the financial reporting and are not currently disclosed. In other words, the existing financial reporting has not met the needs of stakeholders in disclosure of the business model indicators including social responsibility and accountability of the corporates. Accordingly, the proposed financial reporting model based on the concept of business model in this study, not only meets the needs of the stakeholders of the business unit, but can also play an important role in improving the content of the financial reportings.

Subject and Purpose of the Article: The aim of this study was to design a tax evasion model based on income tax (grounded theory approach) and the aim of this study was to model the phenomenon of tax evasion based on income tax. Research Method: The research method used is grounded theory and through in-depth interviews with experts in this field. This study was saturated with 12 snowball interviews. Research Findings: Based on the results obtained from interviews, the main causes of income tax evasion are: lack of tax culture in society, lack of transparency of financial information, inefficiency of the tax system, complexity of laws and... According to the interviews, with the onset of tax evasion for the above reasons, the most important necessary contexts are: lack of proper business environment, lack of strong regulatory and executive system on companies, lack of strong management system and lack of public trust in society. Also, according to experts, the most important strategies to prevent tax evasion are: creating a comprehensive database for companies, creating a tax culture, reforming tax laws and reducing the scope of tax exemptions. Also, the most important consequences of tax evasion are: unfair distribution of income and wealth in society, reduced level of economic transparency and reduced government revenues and the level of public welfare. Conclusion, Originality and its Contribution to the Knowledge: In order to design a tax evasion model based on income tax, a conceptual model was developed and designed, and also in Iran, it is the first research that presents a model for income tax evasion based on income tax.

Introduction: Occurrence of medical error by medical staff can endanger patients' safety. Meanwhile, nurses play a role both as one of the main factors in the occurrence of errors and as a barrier against errors, and sometimes face obstacles to reporting errors. In this regard, this study attempted to identify these barriers and provide corrective solutions. Methods: This qualitative quantification study was conducted in two stages. In the first stage, a researcher-made questionnaire was completed by 214 nurses working in teaching hospitals in Kerman City, Iran. In the second stage, to provide a suitable solution to increase reporting by 23 experts, the centralized group discussion method was used, and then the data were analyzed using the framework analysis method. Results: In the first stage, fear of prosecution and criminal punishment was identified as important obstacle to reporting. In the qualitative stage, three major axes of education, culture, and organization and 15 sub-axes including change of attitude, motivation, job culture, religion, belief of officials, appropriate reward system, use of software, planning, respect, environment, public education and media, use of cyberspace, model presentation, advertising, and communication skills of officials were identified. Conclusion: Because the barriers and issues rose in the reporting of clinical errors, it seems that hospitals have the ability to remove barriers to report clinical errors with the help of cultural, educational, and structural solutions presented in this study. This way, by increasing error reporting, hospitals can improve the quality of health services by reducing individuals' errors.

Background: Local anesthetics have been proven as a method to reduce postoperative pain and opioid use. It reduces side effects associated with drug use and may improve patient health and reduce hospital length of stay. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of intraperitoneal bupivacaine on post-operative pain in laparoscopic colorectal surgery. Methods: In this prospective randomized control trial, 63 patients aged 20-70 years candidates for laparoscopic proctectomy or rectopexy surgery, were divided into two groups. In the case group, anastomosis site was washed with 50 mL of bupivacaine 0.2% intraperitoneally. In the control group, equal volume of normal saline was used as placebo. Intravenous autofuser pain control filled with 3 g paracetamol was considered for all patients. Visual analogue scale (VAS) was recorded at 2, 8, 24 hours and narcotic usage was recorded totally for the first 24 hours after the operation. Results: There was no significant difference between pain scores according to the VAS criteria at 2, 8, and 24 hours after the operation in the case and control groups (P>0.05). Total pethidine consumption during the first 24 hours after the operation was lower in the bupivacaine group (49.03 ± 45.77) compared to the control group (77.74 ± 63.50), but the difference was not significant (P>0.05). Aflatoxins are secondary metabolites produced by Aspergillus flavus, A. parasiticus, A. tamari, A. bombycis and A. nomius species. Relative humidity (RH) is one of the most important parameters influencing the development of aflatoxins in pistachio orchards by Aspergillus species. The type of irrigation system affects density and frequency of the Aspergillus species in the soil. In the current study, to evaluate fungus population density three irrigation treatments (flood, drip-surface, and subsurface irrigation) were applied. In order to investigate the population density of Aspergillus flavus in different irrigation systems, sampling was done from soil and kernels of Shahpasand cultivar at Damghan's Pistachio Research Station under various types of irrigation systems implementation. The samples were inoculated on AFPA medium using serial dilution method. The results indicated that the population density of A. flavus ranged various in pistachio kernels and soils between different types of irrigation system. Through subsurface irrigation, the population density of fungal colonies was significantly at the lowest level. The results showed that the use of modified adopted subsurface irrigation system had been effective in reducing soil surface moisture and led to decrease of population density in comparison with the conventional surface drip irrigation.

Objective:The dependence of research on the state budget on public universities has caused the government's economic problems in recent years to adversely affect the status of academic research. Therefore, managers of public universities should prioritize the use of other research funding methods, including attracting funds from the private and industrial sectors and taking a strategic approach in this regard. The purpose of this study was to design and explain a strategic decision-making model for financing research projects to Improve the research projects of the University of Tehran. Methods: The research method of this article is qualitative and qualitative data were collected through semi-structured interviews with experts and study of articles and texts. In order to extract the main metrics and structures of the model, the data were analyzed using the theme analysis method. Thirty-four interviewees were selected using the snowball method. Results: Based on the results of the research, 10 main structures consisting of 33 measures constitute the model components. Conclusion: Components of strategic decision-making model for financing research projects of Tehran University include: internal and external university communication, idea-to-product chain, Requirements before implementing, review and selection of strategies, structural reform strategy, financial strategy, Collaborative Strategy, Research Results Optimization Strategy, HR Strategy and Evaluation.

Objective: One important purpose of financial reporting is to provide useful information for decision making. Users of accounting information make their necessary decisions based on the information reported in the financial statements. Given the crucial role of independent auditors in the accreditation of financial statements and accounting information released by corporations, auditors play as an external organizational mechanism for controlling managers. The formation of the Society of Certified Public Accountants in Iran in 2001 has led to a rapid growth in the number of private audit firms and increased competition in the Iranian audit market, followed by a change of auditor and selection of a new auditor. Choosing an independent auditor is the most important decision that shareholders make to increase the credibility of their financial statements. In this study, the pattern of selecting an auditor in Iran is studied and it is tried to determine a complete and comprehensive pattern of selection from the viewpoint of the factors involved in this issue, including auditing profession first, then audit firms and finally the owners. Methods: The research approach is exploratory. According to the data type, qualitative research method was used. This research is a type of developmental research. According to the qualitative research method, requirement data was collected through grounded theory and interview. Open coding, axial coding and selective coding were done as well. Finally, research model designed based on the theoretical framework. Results: In this study, based on a systematic approach to fundamental theory, the pattern of external auditor selection with its explanatory components is explained. These components include causal conditions, context, confounding factors, strategies and consequences of selecting an external auditor. Conclusion: In designing the auditor selection pattern, the Corporate's motivation for selecting the auditor has been identified as causal in the context of macroeconomic conditions and the general state of the capital market. Auditor selection strategies also include different forms and methods, including the legal form and the actual form. The most important factors that interfere with these strategies are the influential characteristics of the audit firm, the requirements of the rules, the communication and understanding between the employer and the auditor, and the audit fee. The most important strategies for improving auditor selection include: increasing the transparency of business activities, increasing the effectiveness of the audit committee, creating more appropriate criteria for selection, overseeing the selection of an auditor, selecting an independent auditor, enhancing academic research, and promoting a public culture that can have consequences at company level, capital market and macro level.

Introduction: Minimally invasive colectomy has been performed for some years for many patients worldwide without much complications compared to the open approach. In this study we explained our experience regarding a modification in laparoscopic total colectomy and removing the specimen with Natural Orifice Specimen Extraction (NOSE) through rectum using a plastic cover for the first time. Methods and material: This was an experimental study on a new technique of total colectomy with a small modification. Total colectomy was performed based on 7 port laparoscopic approach. Rectum was sparred. Colon was then taken out through the anal canal using a plastic cover. Results: Thirteen patients underwent laparoscopic total colectomy by removal of the specimen through rectum. Mean age of patients was 42.23 ± 8.15 years. Mean duration of operation was 130 ± 32.4 min. All patients had an uneventful postoperative hospitalization. Discussion: Laparoscopic total colectomy has been proven to have superior benefits than the open approach. In NOSE technique, colon is removed from the anal canal without any complication or consuming much time. This technique might have less pain and removes the complications associated with an incision on the skin to remove the specimen. Also, due to low price of a usual plastic cover, it can be used instead of other techniques to remove the specimen through the rectum. Resumo: Introdução: A colectomia minimamente invasiva vem sendo realizada há alguns anos em muitos pacientes no mundo inteiro, apresentando menos intercorrências do que a abordagem aberta. Neste estudo, os autores relatam sua experiência com uma modificação da colectomia total laparoscópica e extração de espécime em orifício natural (NOSE) pelo reto, usando uma cobertura plástica pela primeira vez. Métodos e materiais: Este foi um estudo experimental sobre uma nova técnica de colectomia total com uma pequena modificação. A colectomia total foi realizada com base na abordagem laparoscópica de sete portas. O reto foi poupado. O cólon foi então retirado pelo canal anal usando uma cobertura plástica. Resultados: Treze pacientes foram submetidos a colectomia total laparoscópica por remoção do espécime pelo reto. A idade média dos pacientes foi de 42,23 ± 8,15 anos. A duração média da operação foi de 130 ± 32,4 minutos. Para todos os pacientes, a internação pós-operatória transcorreu sem intercorrências. Discussão: Foi comprovado que a colectomia total laparoscópica apresenta benefícios superiores à abordagem aberta. Na técnica NOSE, o cólon é removido mais rapidamente do canal anal, sem nenhuma intercorrência. Essa técnica pode causar menos dor e remove as complicações associadas a uma incisão na pele para remover o espécime. Além disso, devido ao baixo preço de uma cobertura plástica comum, ela pode ser usada no lugar de outras técnicas para remover o espécime pelo reto.

Abstract The Arabian horse, one of the world’s oldest breeds of any domesticated animal, is characterized by natural beauty, graceful movement, athletic endurance, and, as a result of its development in the arid Middle East, the ability to thrive in a hot, dry environment. Here we studied 378 Arabian horses from 12 countries using equine single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) arrays and whole-genome re-sequencing to examine hypotheses about genomic diversity, population structure, and the relationship of the Arabian to other horse breeds. We identified a high degree of genetic variation and complex ancestry in Arabian horses from the Middle East region. Also, contrary to popular belief, we could detect no significant genomic contribution of the Arabian breed to the Thoroughbred racehorse, including Y chromosome ancestry. However, we found strong evidence for recent interbreeding of Thoroughbreds with Arabians used for flat-racing competitions. Genetic signatures suggestive of selective sweeps across the Arabian breed contain candidate genes for combating oxidative damage during exercise, and within the “Straight Egyptian” subgroup, for facial morphology. Overall, our data support an origin of the Arabian horse in the Middle East, no evidence for reduced global genetic diversity across the breed, and unique genetic adaptations for both physiology and conformation.

Population density of Aspergillus section Flavi in pistachio kernels of Iranian cultivars was studied in main pistachio growing areas of Iran during 2015 to 2017. In order to investigate the rate of contamination of pistachio cultivars to Aspergillus section Flavi and aflatoxins, 13 pistachio cultivars, including Akbari, Kaleh-ghouchi, Ovhadi, Ahmad-aghaee, Momtaz, Italian pistachio, Shahpasand, Pesteh-e-ghermes, Pesteh-e-garmeh, Ghazvini, Abbasali and Khanjari were selected from different parts of Semnan, Khorosan Razavi and Kerman provinces. A total of 125 samples of pistachio kernels were collected from different cultivars of pistachio trees in orchards. The samples were cultured on AFPA using serial dilution method. After 3 to 7 days, the plates were examined and isolates of Aspergillus section Flavi were identified and relative densities of them were recorded. The values ranged from 1.6×103 to 1.6×104 CFU/g in pistachio samples.The statistical analysis showed that the population density of Aspergillus section Flavi was varied with the type of cultivars. The results indicated that among tested cultivars, Akbari showed the least and Shahpasand the most population density of Aspergillus section Flavi among pistachio cultivars, respectively. The aflatoxins content of pistachio samples were extracted and analysed through Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) and flurodensitometer. There were Significant differences among different cultivars in the contamination of pistachio kernels to Aspergillus section Flavi and aflatoxin. (α =5%). It was observed that Akbari had the least whereas Shahpasand had the greatest amount of aflatoxin production, respectively.
