" The present volume documents the Ernst-von-Glasersfeld Lectures 2015 at the University of Innsbruck. In addition to the lectures by Siegfried J. Schmidt and Gebhard Rusch, two other contributions from the Ernst-von-Glasersfeld Archive are printed. These deal with documentary and media artistic intention with the Lana project and ""Yerkish"", the first sign language for primates, the philosopher and communication scientist Ernst von Glasersfeld (1917-2010) together with Piero Pisani beginning of the 70's at the University of Georgia developed.", Der vorliegende Band dokumentiert die Ernst-von-Glasersfeld-Lectures 2015 an der Universität Innsbruck. Neben den Vorträgen von Siegfried J. Schmidt und Gebhard Rusch sind zwei weitere Beiträge aus dem Ernst-von-Glasersfeld-Archiv abgedruckt. Diese befassen sich in dokumentarischer und medienkünstlerischer Absicht mit dem Lana-Projekt und „Yerkish“, der ersten Zeichen­sprache für Primaten, die der Philosoph und Kommunikationswissenschaftler Ernst von Glasersfeld (1917–2010) zusammen mit Piero Pisani Anfang der 70er Jahre an der University of Georgia entwickelte.

Ernst von Glasersfeld (1917-2010) was a scholar in the fields of philosophy and communications who became one of the most influential thinkers of the present through developing the theory of radical constructivism. This volume documents the official opening of a new archive at the University of Innsbruck which makes the literary estate of Ernst von Glasersfeld accessible to researchers. The collection includes the inaugural remarks, an overview of the estate, a series of personal notes remembering the scientist and man, as well as the initial two in a series of lectures addressing his extensive work. - Der Philosoph und Kommunikationswissenschaftler Ernst von Glasersfeld (1917-2010) wurde durch die Entwicklung der Theorie des Radikalen Konstruktivismus zu einem der einflussreichsten Denker der Gegenwart. Der vorliegende Band dokumentiert die offizielle Eröffnung eines neuen Archivs an der Universität Innsbruck, in dem der Nachlass von Ernst von Glasersfeld für die Forschung zugänglich gemacht wird. Neben den Grußworten, einem Überblick über den Nachlass, sowie einer Reihe von Personal Notes, die an den Wissenschaftler und Menschen erinnern, sind hier auch die beiden ersten Beiträge einer Vortragsreihe abgedruckt, die sich seinem umfangreichen Werk widmen.

This paper tries to make plausible the following claims: The paragraphs §608–612 of “On Certainty” do not speak in favour of what Boghossian construes as the Master Argument for Relativism; that “On Certainty” introduces various relativistic themes; and that Boghossian and Wittgenstein conceptualize epistemic systems in rather different ways that lead to very different views on three candidate cases for radical difference in epistemic systems.
