Nowadays Road traffic is major issue of developing and under developing countries. With the rampant increase of traffic, the society faces major traffic threats including life threats and environmental threat, thus traffic management is gruesome problem to address. The consequences of poor traffic management include road accidents, jamming of traffic, pollution and many more that can be life threatening. Living in 21 st century with the emergence of technology and applicability of smart cities provides a perfect solution to curb traffic issues. Keeping in view the deadlock and congestion in traffic, this work provides solution by indigently detecting and prioritizing the vehicles and non-vehicles. The research involves implementation and comparison of two state of art algorithms Aggregated channel feature and Point Tracker. Further, the algorithms are enhanced by improving traffic management in terms of identifying category of transport, prioritizing the traffic which contains vehicle and non-vehicles on basis of size of vehicle, type of vehicle, emergency situation and provide the priority to resolve the deadlock. Further, the proposed enhanced point tracker algorithm includes the emergency detection in case of accident and provide an alternative route to neighboring vehicles and non-vehicles. Enhanced ACF has detected true positive rate of 80%, 89%, has detected true positive rate of 69% and 79% having non-vehicle detected with assigned priority. Enhanced point tracker has detected true positive rate of 88%, 94%, and 86% having vehicles, non- vehicles and assigned priority.

Context-aware applications are emerging applications in the modern era of computing. These applications can determine and adapt to situational context to provide better user experience. Testing these applications is not straightforward and poses several challenges such as developing context-aware test cases and generating test data etc. However, by employing model based testing technique, testing process for context-aware applications can be automated. To achieve maximum degree of automation, it is necessary to automate model transformation, test data generation and test cases execution. To execute test cases, test data is required and developing test data for context-aware applications is a challenging task. The aim of this study is to address this issue; thus, we propose automated test data generation for functional testing of context-aware applications. This automated test data generation can reduce testing time and cost, thus enabling test engineers to execute more testing cycles to attain higher degree of test coverage.

Software testing aims at ensuring the quality of a software product. Context-aware applications are emerging applications that are capable to sense their environment and adapt to situational context to provide better user experience. Context-aware applications pose many challenges for software testing such as defining test adequacy criteria, generating test data, developing context-aware test cases etc. Test case generation process for context-aware applications can be automated using a model based testing technique. To attain this goal with maximum degree of automation, it is required to transform development model into a test model automatically. In this study, we propose a typecast of activity node of UML activity diagram, called Context-Aware Activity for modelling context-aware applications. We have also developed an approach for automatic transformation of the development model i.e., UML activity diagram with Context-aware Activity typecast into a testing model i.e. function nets. This testing model is used to automate test case generation and we have illustrated how to generate context-aware test cases using our proposed approach.

Cloud Computing is emerging approach because of high availability, efficient cost and performance. In Cloud Computing, services providers will provide the storage for data along with services. But due the lack of proper security policies, many business companies are reluctant to adopt the Cloud Computing technology. This paper has been written to highlight cloud security and privacy issues. Our research is mainly focus on service provider’s side security. They must protect their client data by unauthorized access, modification or miss use, denial of services and repudiation. To ensure the security of client data in cloud, we purpose the implementation of Extensible Authentication Protocol through three way hand shake with RSA.

Ethernet functionality testing as a generic term used for checking connectivity,throughput and capability to transfer packets over the network. Especially in the packet-switchenvironment, Ethernet testing has become an essential part for deploying a reliable network.Over a long distance Ethernet testing parameter for analyzing network performance must havetwo devices attached and synchronized. Saab Microwave Systems is among the leading suppliers of radar systems developing groundbased,naval and air-borne radar systems. To ensure the correct functionality, the developerwants to verify the performance of computer network and looking for a suitable solution. A software application is required to verify and test the functionality of the Ethernet network andto verify the functionality and performance of the TCP/IP stack of newly added node. Theprograms shall be easily ported to different operating systems and must not depend on specificproduct properties.A software application, “NetBurst”, is developed for Ethernet functionality testing. Theapplication is vendor and platform independent.

In the early days, the Internet used static routes, but after sometimes updating routing table manually becomes tough task for network administrators to achieve. Later, EGP protocol was introduced for Internet network administrator, but EGP was not scalable so in replacement of EGP a new protocol BGP was introduced to solve all problems which were unaddressed in EGP. BGP stands for Border Gateway Protocol and the most current version is BGP4. BGP is a routing protocol that runs on routers. BGP allows fully decentralized management of the Internet. That means, if BGP router is on the Internet, it can tell all other routers that what networks are available to everyone in the world. BGP calls each routing domain an autonomous system (AS). It selects the best path, through the Internet, by choosing the route that has to traverse the fewest autonomous systems. As BGP provides information for controlling the flow of packets between AS, the protocol plays a critical role in Internet efficiency, reliability, and security. However, slow convergence and abnormal termination of session are major vulnerability of BGP. Simplifying BGP design complexity helps in research, for the root cause analysis of BGP. Deriving technique to prevent the loss of data, reduce the convergence time and maintaining the sessions of BGP by instantly diverting the traffic from teardown / flapped link to the backup link considering as active link. It will be a great success to achieve the goal to maintain the sessions and reduce the BGP convergence time.
