Palestine continues to face emergencies and a series of humanitarian crises. This study aims to comprehend emergency planning and response including the recent COVID-19 pandemic. Comprehending and recording these experiences will facilitate on-going improvement of Palestine's Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP). A qualitative exploratory study. Fifteen semi-structured interviews were conducted with key informant decision-makers representing various sectors of the Palestinian health system. The data collection period took place from April 2022–December 2022. A convenient purposive sample was chosen based on identifying important stakeholders in the West Bank's health sector. Every interview was transcribed. Major themes and subthemes were identified using content thematic analysis. The study demonstrates Palestine's inadequate preparation for emergencies, instead there is a focus on response once a crisis has occurred. No national entity or mechanism is leading the collective preparedness efforts, which might ultimately result in a stronger emergency response. Instead, the efforts are dispersed across several entities, and decisions are not made cooperatively. As for resources, the study indicates that an emergency budget has not been allocated. The study showed a good degree of multi-sectoral collaboration with some reservations regarding the creation of various committees and their efficacy in handling crises. The findings made it abundantly evident that significant efforts are needed to improve Palestine's level of preparedness and planning. One of the study's primary conclusions is that the health sector must shift from a reactionary to a preparedness-oriented mindset. Additionally, it is necessary to keep an eye on any changes in the nation's health and analysis must take place to strengthen the health system's response plans. Background: Clozapine has shown great efficacy in treating treatment‐resistant schizophrenia, but it is associated with a variety of medication- related safety problems. Despite this, there remains a lack of research on medication errors (MEs) associated with its use. Aim: To characterize the nature and contributory factors of clozapine-related MEs reported from government hospitals and primary care centres in Saudi Arabia (SA). Method: A cross-sectional analysis was carried out on MEs related to clozapine use reported to the General Administration of Pharmaceutical Care at the Ministry of Health (MOH) in Saudi Arabia between 2018 and 2022. The data were analysed descriptively to examine the nature and contributory factors of MEs. Results: A total of 1,165 MEs were reported. The majority of reported errors involved patients aged > 18 years old, with 72.2% (n = 841) being male. The central region was found to report errors more frequently (32.3%, n = 376). Pharmacists were reported to detect errors most frequently (59.6%, n = 695). MEs most often occurred in the prescribing stage (77.8%, n = 906), with "missing prescription information" (30.1%, n = 351) being the most frequent finding. The most frequent contributing factor was the lack of policy (33.1%, n = 351). The majority of errors did not reach the patients (92.3%, n = 1,075), and those that did reach patients rarely resulted in harm (0.3%, n = 2). This study analyzes the epidemiology of pediatric drowning in Israel from 2010 to 2022, focusing on differences across age groups, sex, and regions. We conducted a retrospective cohort study using data from the Ministry of Health's administrative databases, covering all children aged 0–17 years who were seen in the emergency department, discharged after hospitalization, or died at the scene due to drowning, excluding cases of intentional harm or suicide. The primary outcome was the annual drowning rate per 100,000 children, categorized by age, sex, and region, along with hospitalization duration, intensive care unit admissions, and mortality rates. A total of 2101 drowning incidents were identified, with 9% resulting in death. Higher drowning rates were found in younger children (1–4 years) and teenagers (15–17 years), with notable differences by sex. Drowning rates were higher in coastal regions and more frequent during winter and spring. An increase in drowning rates was observed over the last 3 years of the study (2020–2022). Children hospitalized for more than 3 days had significantly higher mortality rates, both in general wards and intensive care units. Conclusions: Pediatric drowning is a persistent public health concern in Israel, with distinct seasonal, regional, age-specific, and sex-specific patterns in incidence and mortality. This study underscores the need for a comprehensive prevention strategy that includes year-round public education, environmental safety measures, and targeted interventions for high-risk groups to reduce drowning incidents and fatalities among children effectively. What is Known: • Pediatric drowning represents a significant public health challenge globally, with varying rates. • In Israel, pediatric drowning is the second leading cause of death from all injury-related deaths. Thus far, the measures and interventions to reduce fatalities were not proven effective enough. Throughout history, infectious diseases have been frequently encountered worldwide due to various factors such as wars, social movements, environmental conditions, and socioeconomic issues. In response to this, various efforts have been made globally and in Turkey to combat infectious diseases. In our study, we examined the measures taken by the central government of Turkey regarding infectious diseases occurring within the country between 1939 and 1945. These measures were classified into social, political, health-related, educational, and economic categories. Budget discussions were held in the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM) with the aim of providing economic resources to combat infectious diseases. Efforts have been made to implement measures such as continuous increase in the budget allocated to the health sector, free distribution of medicines, and initiatives like draining swamps to prevent endemic diseases like malaria. Additionally, free examination days have been organized by health institutions and community centers (Halkevleri) to combat trachoma and syphilis. The study focused particularly on diseases such as syphilis, malaria, typhus, and trachoma, as they left deep marks on individuals and communities. To prevent infectious diseases, committees were established and health personnel were appointed accordingly. The healthcare system provided support in the form of doctors, medicines, vaccines, and serums in areas where diseases were detected, based on reports from cities and screenings conducted by health officials. In the scope of combating these diseases, some medications were procured from abroad, while others were produced through the efforts of the Hıfzıssıhha Institute. The Document Analysis Method, one of the research methods in history, was used in this study. Various sources were utilized, including the General Staff Archive, the Republic Archive, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Archive, newspapers, as well as original and investigative works. While official correspondence predominated in the archives, newspapers provided news and editorial articles on infectious diseases. Mapping the distribution of medical specialists in the Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia facilities is expected to be more complex as the demand for specialty and subspecialty services increases in the future. A more robust and definitive gap analysis is needed to facilitate planning and resource allocation. The Medical Development Division developed a master list of framework of specialties, subspecialties and areas of interest, and Specialist Database Module in the Medical Programme Information System (MPIS) as tools to facilitate mapping of services. Relational database of specialists' location, facilities, workload, population profile and other relevant parameters were developed to provide data visualisation in specific dashboard. Despite significant progress in HIV/AIDS management in Ghana, some critical gaps remain in the diagnosis and treatment of HIV-related neurocognitive problems. As Ghana strives to provide comprehensive care for HIV clients, it is critical to look beyond viral suppression and address the disease's neurological implications. This position statement aims to provide a general overview of HIV-Associated Neurocognitive Disorders, gaps in its management, and the role of integrating neurocognitive screening and neurorehabilitation in existing HIV care services in Ghana. It is imperative that integrating neurocognitive support into HIV management in Ghana is not only a matter of improving quality of life but also a critical step toward providing comprehensive HIV/AIDS care services. IntroductionIn 2017, the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene (MoH) of Burkina Faso designed and piloted a specimen transport system using the national courier services (La Poste BF) in 4 districts. Based on satisfactory performance indicators, the MoH set a vision aimed at scaling up this system to strengthen disease detection and surveillance of epidemic prone diseases across the country. This work describes the implementation process, performances, and lessons learned.MethodologyThis work describes the implementation process, performances, and lessons learned. Abstract Background Given Japan’s rapidly aging population, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's policy of reducing hospital beds and replacing medical care with nursing care requires the establishment of a coordinated system of medical and care services tailored to regional characteristics. To gain useful knowledge for the development of such a system, this study aimed to identify differences in the structure of the relationship between medical and care resources due to differences in regional characteristics. Methods Initially, regional characteristics were used to group all 334 secondary medical areas (SMA) in Japan by principal component analysis. Subsequently, the related structure of the distribution of medical and care resources for each group were compared. For these comparisons, first, the related structure of the distribution of medical and care resources nationwide was modeled using structural equation modeling. Secondly, multigroup analysis was conducted to investigate differences among the models across groups. Results The nationwide SMAs were grouped largely based on urbanicity and middle-density regionality. The groups with high urbanicity and high middle-density regionality consisted of SMAs with a high and medium population density. By contrast, the low middle-density regionality group consisted of SMAs containing large cities with a high population density and depopulated areas with a low population density. The model of the related structure of the distribution of medical and care resources differed among these groups. In the non-urbanicity and middle-density regionality groups, nursing care abundance tended to increase acute care abundance. In addition, in all groups, nursing care abundance tended to increase long-term hospitalization care abundance and clinic care abundance (with beds). Conclusions The key finding of this study was that the government’s objective of reducing hospital beds may not be achieved solely by expanding nursing homes. This is because many of the models did not show a tendency that higher nursing care abundance reduces the values of the factors which increase more hospital beds. This finding was particularly relevant in middle-density regionality groups. This finding suggests that the location of nursing homes should be monitored because of concerns about the oversupply of nursing homes and sprawl in those areas.

Background: To treat neural tube closure abnormalities and maternal anemia during pregnancy, iron and folic acid (FA) supplements are typically necessary. Ethiopian Ministry of Health plan to increase the numbers of pregnant women who take iron and FA supplements from 11% to 50%, and by 2029, to 90% by 2024. Aim: Hence, the main objective of this study was to investigate the degree of iron–folic acid supplementation (IFAS) and associated factors among pregnant women receiving antenatal care at Leka Dulecha Woreda public health facilities from May 1 to October 31, 2022. Methods: In this study, about 316 pregnant women who visited Leka Dulecha prenatal care services were selected. A facility‐based cross‐sectional study was conducted. Multivariable logistic regression was utilized to examine parameters associated with the utilization of IFAS. Results: These findings suggest that maternal educational status (adjusted odds ratio, AOR = 2.00, 95% confidence interval, CI [1.5, 3.05]), the timing of the first prenatal consultation (AOR = 1.93, 95% CI [1.47, 2.62]), having a good understanding of anemia (AOR = 1.50, 95% CI [1.00, 2.11]), and a history of anemia during the current pregnancy (AOR = 1.60, 95% CI [1.11, 3.16]) are important factors to consider when promoting adherence to iron–FA supplementation among pregnant women. Purpose: The aim of this study is to validate the proposed model of knowledge management and investigate the status of knowledge management in scientometrics units of medical universities in Iran. Understanding how knowledge is created and managed, identifying the components of knowledge management within these units, determining a suitable knowledge management model for medical universities, and assessing the role of scientometrics units in knowledge management are essential. Method: The present study is practical in terms of purpose and was conducted using a descriptive survey. The data gathering tool was a researcher-made questionnaire based on the proposed model in the study. It included 5 knowledge management components: identification components (18 items), acquisition (11 items), application (9 items), registration (6 items), and presentation (8 items), set up in the Likert spectrum. The study community consisted of all managers and staff affiliated with the University of Medical Sciences in Iran. 164 people were identified by reviewing the websites of active scientometrics units at the medical universities in Iran. According to Morgan's table, the number of samples required was determined to be 115 by a random selection process. 84 completed questionnaires were received. Data from 84 questionnaires were analyzed, as the return rate exceeded 70%. The content validity method has been utilized to assess the validity of the questionnaire. In the present study, the questionnaire was formulated and validated based on the input of seven experts, including four faculty members and three specialists who are also authors of relevant articles. The validity of the study was also examined through confirmatory factor analysis. The reliability of this study was assessed using the internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha) method with the assistance of SPS software. The obtained reliability coefficient for the entire questionnaire was 0.949. Information analysis was conducted using structural equations and PLS software to assess model validity. Additionally, sample and bipolarized TT exams were employed to investigate the status of knowledge management components. Findings: The proposed model of knowledge management was formulated in medical universities, encompassing five components: identification (12 items), acquisition (10 items), application (eight items), registration (five items), and presentation (seven items). The measurement model test includes a reliability test (observable variables, composite reliability, and Cronbach's alpha), a narrative test (involving convergence validity and divergent validity), and a validity test for quality, which was approved. For the knowledge management variable and the two components of identifying and acquiring knowledge, the significance level of the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was greater than 0.5. Therefore, data skewness is not significant, and the data is considered to be normally distributed. Therefore, the T-test is used to examine their status. The data is not normal for the components of application, registration, and presentation of knowledge, and a two-sample test is used. The results of the single-variable t-test and the two-sample t-test showed that the knowledge management variable and the components of knowledge identification, knowledge acquisition, and knowledge application are statistically above average (score of 3). However, for the two components of registering and presenting knowledge, the results were not statistically significant and were average (score of 3). Given that knowledge management in Iranian organizations is not very well-established, most research has reported that the status of knowledge management and its components in Iranian organizations is at a moderate and inadequate level. However, the conclusion of this study indicates that the status of knowledge management components, including identifying knowledge, acquiring knowledge, and applying knowledge in the field of scientometrics, is moderately high. However, in the components of registration and presentation, the status was lower. Conclusion: The proposed model of knowledge management in medical universities comprises five components: identification, acquisition, registration, application, and dissemination of knowledge. This model can serve as a reference and framework for implementation in other universities.

The objective of this study was to observe the performance of mental hospitals using a balanced scorecard through this federal program.Methods: Secondary quantitative analysis was implemented utilizing the Wazen report program data in 2022. The report adopted a balanced scorecard (BSC) concept. The study focused on 19 mental health facilities (Eraddah Hospitals) in the Ministry of Health (MOH) regions. The MOH’s annual statistical report for 2018 and 2022 was reviewed to explore more about beds, staff, and the number of new mental disorder cases. Data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel 365 and the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS Version 25) software. Mental health hospitals were classified into three categories.Results: Most rural hospitals had lower performance in the yellow threshold value that might need improvement. The data shows that the mean of all hospital performance in some domains ranged, yielding 70% staff engagement and 77% continued educational activity, indicating unsatisfactory performance across public mental health services. The means score of access to care was 97.0% and 94.7%, marking the better mental health services provided. Between 2018 and 2022, there was a significant rise in the prevalence of mental disorders, as evidenced by the number of new patients and outpatients indicated by specific mental diseases, including conditions of psychological development (F80-F98).Discussion: The high quality of mental healthcare is manifested by therapeutic ethos with a high degree of interaction between professional careers and service users. The former is enhanced by highly educated, competent, compassionate, self-aware, and specialized healthcare professionals in mental health. The obtained reliability coefficient for the entire questionnaire was 0.949. Information analysis was conducted using structural equations and PLS software to assess model validity. Additionally, sample and bipolarized TT exams were employed to investigate the status of knowledge management components. Findings: The proposed model of knowledge management was formulated in medical universities, encompassing five components: identification (12 items), acquisition (10 items), application (eight items), registration (five items), and presentation (seven items). The measurement model test includes a reliability test (observable variables, composite reliability, and Cronbach's alpha), a narrative test (involving convergence validity and divergent validity), and a validity test for quality, which was approved. For the knowledge management variable and the two components of identifying and acquiring knowledge, the significance level of the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was greater than 0.5. Therefore, data skewness is not significant, and the data is considered to be normally distributed. Therefore, the T-test is used to examine their status. The data is not normal for the components of application, registration, and presentation of knowledge, and a two-sample test is used. The results of the single-variable t-test and the two-sample t-test showed that the knowledge management variable and the components of knowledge identification, knowledge acquisition, and knowledge application are statistically above average (score of 3). However, for the two components of registering and presenting knowledge, the results were not statistically significant and were average (score of 3). Given that knowledge management in Iranian organizations is not very well-established, most research has reported that the status of knowledge management and its components in Iranian organizations is at a moderate and inadequate level. However, the conclusion of this study indicates that the status of knowledge management components, including identifying knowledge, acquiring knowledge, and applying knowledge in the field of scientometrics, is moderately high. However, in the components of registration and presentation, the status was lower. Conclusion: The proposed model of knowledge management in medical universities comprises five components: identification, acquisition, registration, application, and dissemination of knowledge. The objective of this study was to explore the potential enhancement of response within GP medical centres in New Zealand when facing heightened healthcare demand during a pandemic. This investigation sheds light on effective crisis management and leadership. By elucidating the contributions of this research, we gain a deeper appreciation of its importance in advancing our understanding of pandemic management. This study has yielded fresh insights and knowledge, beneficial to both academic and real-world applications, particularly concerning the adoption and effects of leadership and management within the healthcare domain amidst crisis situations. Using a multiple case study design, we conducted 86 in-depth interviews with staff from 16 General Practice centres in New Zealand. The critical activities delivered during the first six months of the COVID pandemic to keep New Zealand communities safe during the initial COVID-19 outbreak were (a) leadership in health service planning, including workforce planning, new operational processes, and expansion in the use of Information Communication Technology systems by the GP medical centres; (b) environment disinfection using national guidelines, education and establishment of respiratory clinics and expanding testing sites in GP medical centres; and (c) education and outreach to the patients including the protection of Māori, Pasifika, and remote communities. The decision to adopt a localised response to the pandemic, centralise testing, and better understand local-level needs prompted GP medical centres to communicate and engage early and effectively with patients. This enabled centres to lead and manage the COVID-19 pandemic with greater efficiency in the first six months of the outbreak. The New Zealand government's "team of 5 million" COVID-compliance campaign program provided clear and persistent communication by the Ministry of Health. This campaign assisted in a better national understanding and compliance with the regulation of the COVID-19 pandemic. The dedication of medical centre managers to forward planning using contingency and accrued funding and setting up Community-Based Assessment Centres and respiratory clinics, including walk-in and outreach services, proved to be highly effective. Saudi Arabia has gone through a huge expansion in the medical services, which increased the demand for interventional radiologist (IR) services. However, the current number of IRs is considerably less than the needed number, which poses a challenge to provide a 24/7 IR service coverage. The shortage may improve in the future, but it will continue through 2030 despite the successful local fellowship training program.

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2020, National Health Emergency Center aligned itself to the Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and has played a key role to link the different health sectors in the country with Ministry of Health, through the use of state-of-the-art infrastructure, innovative digital technologies, location intelligence, data analysis, and real time data. Thereby, General Directorate of Emergency, Disasters and Medical Transportation - Deputyship of Curative Services, launched the National Health Emergency Operation Center, which integrates digital technologies to deliver substantial improvements to emergency healthcare management. Background and aims: The importance of developing physical training and the need to expand it among students increases when the social harms and anomalies observed in this space are carefully analyzed. Knowing the pattern and model governing this matter helps prevent social anomalies. Since no study was done to discover this model, the present research was conducted to investigate the design of the development model of physical training for students of Iranian medical sciences universities. Methods: This study was conducted with an exploratory-fundamental nature, a qualitative approach, and the foundation’s data strategy in 2021-2022. The data collection method was a semi-structured interview with 19 specialists and experts using purposeful sampling. The method of coding and forming concepts from the interviews was used to analyze the data. MAXQDATA2020 software was used to analyze the data. Then, the codes were categorized, and a conceptual model was presented. Results: The codes extracted from the interviews included 191 codes in 6 categories of causal conditions, central phenomenon, contextual conditions, intervening conditions, strategic conditions, and consequential conditions, as well as 38 components. Causal conditions include seven components and 27 codes; central phenomenon includes three components and 11 codes; contextual conditions include seven components and 36 codes; intervening conditions include eight components and 41 codes; strategic conditions include eight components and 43 codes and conditions a result includes five components and 24 codes. Conclusion: The developments of physical education and sports for students of medical sciences in Iran, taking into account its causes, axes, contexts, obstacles, and consequences, can inform the managers and planners of sports students of the Ministry of Health about its development process and trend. Students go to physical activity to prevent the wastage of available resources, including financial, human and physical, with careful planning and organization.

The proposed study focuses on the effect of applying the concept of information security awareness of MOH employees on the cybersecurity department at the Ministry of Health in Riyadh. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method in order to achieve the study objectives and used a questionnaire for collecting data. The study sample consisted of around (430) of MOH employees. The results of the study showed a high level of agreement on answering its questions. The study yielded numerous recommendations; it stressed that spreading the culture of awareness on the importance of personal information, through holding workshops, is considered as the most effective way to reduce cybersecurity risks. Also, it showed that the cybersecurity department is keen to develop guidelines to be followed by employees in order to limit the sharing of personal information and that paramount importance should be attached to the human element by familiarizing it with the tricks used by cybercriminals. In addition, the cybersecurity department is keen to create an electronic archive that includes monitoring and recording of cybersecurity incidents and should encourage employees to view this archive and consider it as a means of exchanging knowledge and raising awareness. Moreover, it is imperative to use the contribution of information security experts in order to design awareness programs. In addition, advanced technical training should be directed to employees to keep pace with the rapid development in methods and techniques of information crime. Objectives: There has been an increase in 25-hydroxy vitamin D (25(OH)D) test requests and laboratory costs in recent years. At the end of 2019, the General Directorate of Health Information Systems issued a regulation calling for restricting vitamin D requests in primary care. We aimed to investigate the effect of this regulation on the requested numbers of 25(OH)D tests with the big data obtained from the national information health system of the Turkish Ministry of Health. Materials and Methods: Between 2016-2022, all inpatient and outpatient tests and 25(OH)D tests in all medical biochemistry laboratories in Turkey were determined based on department and institution type. Distribution among health institutions and test request rates were calculated. Results: The total number of 25(OH)D tests requested was increased from 2016 to 2022, except for 2020 and 2021, probably related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The yearly increase rate in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022 was 137%, 56%, 16%, and 5%, respectively. The number of 25(OH)D tests requested in primary care institutions decreased after the regulation. The total number of 25(OH)D tests requested in 2nd and 3rd Stage Public Health Facilities and private hospitals increased in 2022 compared to 2019. Conclusion: Our findings showed that the request for 25(OH)D testing decreased in primary care and increased in 2nd and 3rd Stage Public Health Facilities and private hospitals after the regulation was released. Despite the decrease in the yearly increase rate in the number of test requests, the annual number of tests requested is still high, suggesting that different measures should be taken. Earthquake, as an important natural disaster, is a crisis situation that affects social life in all aspects and brings extraordinary conditions in the geographies where it occurs. This crisis situation needs to be managed successfully by the relevant administrative structures of the state. One of the most needed service areas with the realisation of the earthquake is health services. In this direction, ensuring the continuity of all kinds of health services in the settlements where the earthquake occurred is an important issue at the national level and points to a serious crisis communication and crisis management process. Based on this information, the aim of the study is to examine the crisis communication process carried out by the Ministry of Health after the Kahramanmaraş-based earthquakes in Turkey on 6 February 2023. Content analysis technique was used as a method in the study. In this direction, the communication process carried out by the Ministry of Health on the Twitter platform for 60 days was analysed by subjecting it to content analysis through the tweets. It was observed that there were 341 earthquake-related posts made by the Ministry of Health within 60 days; these posts were categorised, and a concretisation was made based on their number, content, frequency of distribution, structure and examples. As a result, it was observed that the Ministry of Health used the Twitter platform intensively in post-earthquake health measures, health services/hospitals, disinformation, general information and motivation. Estimating number of doctors including medical specialists needed in the public sector is fundamental to guide human resource planning and implementation of specialist training in Malaysia. Crude population-based and individual basic specialities population-based ratios were used to estimate number of doctors including specialists needed in the public sector by 2025 and 2030. These estimates were then compared with existing number of specialists, current production rates and other parameters to determine level of deficit of the various medical specialities in the future. Medical specialist production versus deficit index was introduced as a tool to present the expected outcome of the existing specialist training. Public healthcare came late to Russia, and it developed along two paths: a state system and a community medicine system. The state system developed first with a small number of hospitals in Russia's capitals (Moscow and St. Petersburg) and some army hospitals, leaving healthcare in rural areas mostly to the individual. When, from the 1860s, zemstvos as institutions of local self-government were introduced, a public healthcare system ("community medicine") started to be developed. It coincided with the bacteriological revolution and functioned during the great epidemics of, for example, cholera, typhus, and plague. Infectious diseases affected Russia and were often linked to famines, a social affliction with which the government tried to cope. In the late nineteenth century, epidemics led to the foundation of research institutes and laboratories. Shortly before the outbreak of the First World War, the establishment of a ministry for public health was discussed but was postponed. However, it was the Great War that gave impetus to the modernizing process, although initially there was no centralization. Both the state system and the zemstvo systems expanded—for the army as well as for the civilian population. The state and zemstvo systems continued to rival one other, but an outstanding coordinating role was played by a member of the royal family. Leaving the First World War after the October Revolution, Russia immediately plunged into the Civil War, which resulted in the complete dissolution of non-governmental healthcare bodies, which had been so significant during the war. In Bolshevik-controlled Russia, all healthcare institutions were subordinated to a centralized ministry of health, thus abolishing the Unions and the Pirogov Society. This article describes the conflict between the pre-First World War state and zemstvo healthcare systems, the efforts for improvement during the war, and the centralization after the war. From 2010 to 2016, the proportion of Saudi nursing staff began to decline due to various factors, including the life expectancy of the Saudi population, which has increased from age 69 in 1990 to age 76 in 2012 Also, from 1990 to 2012, Saudi Arabia's population increased by 2.5% annually, which would result in a rise in healthcare demand. Moreover, the bad image about nursing profession, and the perception that is insignificant profession and less efficient than other occupations, influence the public views to join the nursing discipline. When The Saudi Arabian Vision 2030 was implemented, it positively affected the Saudi economy. Therefore, this study aimed to describe the influence of the Vision on the nursing profession. Secondary data was pulled from the Ministry of Health was used to do a Descriptive Comparative Research Design to compare between the number of nurses when the Vision was implemented with the years after that. Results revealed that the growth rate of the number of nurses increased by 9% to 10% after the implementation of the vision. Health ministries around the world have used online communication, specifically social media platforms, to provide information, communicate warnings to the public, and influence behavior according to recommended health precautions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Grounded in agenda-setting theory, this study analyzes Turkey's Ministry of Health's (MoH) social media communication strategies and practices during COVID-19 through a content analysis of the content shared via its official Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts from February to June 2020, focusing on the first 120 days of the pandemic, when it was at its height. Findings reveal that the MoH's social media activity was mainly driven by Twitter, and the minister of health has become the face of the fight against the pandemic. Results reveal that the government's efforts to fight against the virus and its prevention measures are among the most popular themes in online communication. The MoH's social media communication has shown only limited success in community building and network expansion due to inconsistent and ineffective hashtag use, among other weaknesses in the ministry's use of social media conventions.
