HIV-1 is a highly host-specific retrovirus that infects humans but not most nonhuman primates. Thus, the lack of a suitable primate model that can be directly infected with HIV-1 hinders HIV-1/AIDS research. In the previous study, we have found that the northern pig-tailed macaques (NPMs) are susceptible to HIV-1 infection but show a nonpathogenic state. In this study, to understand this macaque–HIV-1 interaction, we assembled a de novo genome and longitudinal transcriptome for this species during the course of HIV-1 infection. Using comparative genomic analysis, a positively selected gene, Toll-like receptor 8, was identified with a weak ability to induce an inflammatory response in this macaque. In addition, an interferon-stimulated gene, interferon alpha inducible protein 27, was upregulated in acute HIV-1 infection and acquired an enhanced ability to inhibit HIV-1 replication compared with its human ortholog. These findings coincide with the observation of persistently downregulated immune activation and low viral replication and can partially explain the AIDS-free state in this macaque following HIV-1 infection. This study identified a number of unexplored host genes that may hamper HIV-1 replication and pathogenicity in NPMs and provided new insights into the host defense mechanisms in cross-species infection of HIV-1. This work will facilitate the adoption of NPM as a feasible animal model for HIV-1/AIDS research.

In May 2020, a new taxon of Euphorbia, Euphorbiaceae was collected from a dry hillside of Dongsheng District, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia. The morphological characteristics of the specimens analyzed differ from those of the known Euphorbia species from this region; therefore, we suspected this may be a new species, and we set to analyze the ITS2 sequences of some Euphorbia species. The results show that the new taxon belongs to the sect. Esula of Euphorbia subg. Esula. It is similar to Euphorbia esula (description from Flora of China) but does not belong to the same species. Concomitantly, plant morphological data and pollen morphology results show significant differences between the new taxon, E. esula and E. caesia, a finding that supports the delimitation of this new taxon, which is named Euphorbia mongoliensis in accordance with its geographical distribution.

Paeonia lactiflora is an important medicinal resource in China. It is of great significance for the protection and cultivation of P. lactiflora resources to find the suitable habitats. The study was based on the information of 98 distribution sites and the data of 20 current environmental factors of wild P. lactiflora in China. According to the correlation and importance of environmental factors, we selected the main environmental factors affecting the potential suitable habitats. Then, BCC-CSM2-MR model was employed to predict the distribution range and center change of potential suitable habitat of wild P. lactiflora in the climate scenarios of SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, SSP3-7.0, and SSP5-8.5 during 2021-2100. The ensemble model combined with GBM, GLM, MaxEnt, and RF showed improved prediction accuracy, with TSS=0.85 and AUC=0.95. Among the 20 environmental factors, annual mean temperature, monthly mean diurnal range of temperature, temperature seasonality, mean temperature of the warmest quarter, precipitation of the wettest month, precipitation seasonality, precipitation of the driest quarter, and elevation were the main factors that affected the suitable habitat distribution of P. lactiflora. At present, the potential suitable habitats of wild P. lactiflora is mainly distributed in Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Hebei, Beijing, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Shandong, Gansu, Xinjiang, Tibet, and Ningxia, and concentrated in the northeastern Inner Mongolia, central Heilongjiang, and northern Jilin. Under future climate conditions, the highly sui-table area of wild P. lactiflora will shrink, and the potential suitable habitat will mainly be lost to different degrees. However, in the SSP5-8.5 scenario, the low suitable area of wild P. lactiflora will partially increase in the highlands and mountains in western China including Xinjiang, Tibet, and Qinghai during 2061-2100. The distribution center of wild P. lactiflora migrated first to the northeast and then to the southwest. The total suitable habitats were stable and kept in the high-latitude zones. The prediction of the potential geo-graphical distribution of P. lactiflora is of great significance to the habitat protection and standardized cultivation of this plant in the future.

The sustainable use of medicinal plants is the foundation of the inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) and the acquisition of information on medicinal plants is the basis for the development of TCM. The traditional methods of investigating medicinal plant resources are disadvantageous in strong subjectivity and poor timeliness, making it difficult to real-time monitor medicinal plant resources. In recent years, remote sensing technology has become an important means of obtaining information on medicinal plants. The application of this technology has made up for the shortcomings of traditional methods. The open-access remote sensing data with medium spatial resolution satellites provide an opportunity for extracting information on medicinal plant resources. This study firstly introduced the principles of remote sensing technology, summarized the satellites and the parameters commonly used in the field of medicinal plant resources, and compared the survey methods of remote sensing technology with traditional methods. Secondly, it reviewed the applications of remote sensing technology in the extraction of information on the cultivation of medicinal plants and the common methods for extracting the planting structure information of medicinal plants based on remote sensing technology. Thirdly, the applications of remote sensing technology in the investigation and monitoring of medicinal plants were further analyzed with the research objects divided into wild and cultivated medicinal plants according to the characteristics of the habitats. Finally, it pointed out the key unsolved technical problems in the remote sensing monitoring of medicinal plant resources, and proposed solutions for the intelligent information processing of medicinal plants based on remote sensing big data, which is expected to provide references for the development of remote sensing technology in derivative application in medicinal plant resources.

The Solanaceae plants distributed in China belong to 105 species and 35 varietas of 24 genera. Some medicinal plants of Solanaceae are rich in tropane alkaloids(TAs), which have significant pharmacological activities. In this paper, the geographical distribution, chemical components, traditional therapeutic effect, pharmacological activities, and biosynthetic pathways of TAs in Solanaceous plants were summarized. Besides, the phylogeny of medicinal plants belonging to Solanaceae was visualized by network diagram. Fourteen genera of Solanaceae plants in China contain TAs and have medical records. TAs mainly exist in Datura, Anisodus, Atropa, Physochlaina, and Hyoscyamus. The TAs-containing species were mainly concentrated in Southwest China, and the content of TAs was closely related to plant distribution area and altitude. The Solanaceae plants containing TAs mainly have antispasmodic, analgesic, antiasthmatic, and antitussive effects. Modern pharmacological studies have proved the central sedative, pupil dilating, glandular secretion-inhibiting, and anti-asthma activities of TAs. These pharmacological activities provide a reasonable explanation for the traditional therapeutic efficacy of tropane drugs. In this paper, the geographical distribution, chemical components, traditional therapeutic effect, and modern pharmacological activities of TAs-containing species in Solanaceae were analyzed for the first time. Based on these data, the genetic relationship of TAs-containing Solanaceae species was preliminarily discussed, which provided a scientific basis for the basic research on TAs-containing solanaceous species and was of great significance for the development of natural medicinal plant resources containing TAs.

However, there is a lack of research on salt tolerance evaluation of oat germplasm resources. Mongolian medicine is an indispensable part in developing traditional Mongolian medicine. This study is aimed to provide a basis for the formulation of clinical and Mongolian medicinal materials standards by clarifying the original plant and species collation of Mongolia medicine ofquot;saradmaquot;. Mongolian herbal medicine, as an important part of Mongolian medicine, is needed to study the authentic Mongolian medicine, in order to exert the best therapeutic effect in the application. The Mongolian medicine ofquot;saradmaquot; is a kind of medicinal material for diuresis, reinforcing kidney, and eliminating edema, for which comes from the roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, seeds and other parts of medicinal plant. The ancient books of Mongolian medicine are the most important reference the research of Mongolian medicine varieties. This review adopts the method of inductive comparison of ancient books in order to summarize the conclusion of Mongolian medicine ofquot;saradmaquot;. According to the investigations, Mongolian medicine ofquot;saradmaquot; type is mainly Leguminosae plant, Oxytropis latibracteata, Hedysarum multijugum, Thermopsis barbata, Astragalus membranaceus, Vicia amoena, O. caerulea, Astragalus bhotanensis, Hedysarum sikkimense. Compared with modern works, it is found that the drug has a wide range of resources distribution and application. It can be used for the treatment of cold edema, hot edema, nephrogenic edema, edema, swelling and likes caused by different diseases. Based on the research of Mongolian medicine ofquot;saradmaquot; varieties, it was found that the most commonly used varieties in Inner Mongolia were cayan saradma, xara saradam and sira saradma all of which are all top-grade drugs that reduce swelling.

Microbial translocation is a cause of systemic immune activation in HIV/SIV infection. In the present study, we found a lower CD8+ T cell activation level in Macaca leonina (northern pig-tailed macaques, NPMs) than in Macaca mulatta (Chinese rhesus macaques, ChRMs) during SIVmac239 infection. Furthermore, the levels of plasma LPS-binding protein and soluble CD14 in NPMs were lower than those in ChRMs. Compared with ChRMs, SIV-infected NPMs had lower Chiu scores, representing relatively normal intestinal mucosa. In addition, no obvious damage to the ileum or colon epithelial barrier was observed in either infected or uninfected NPMs, which differed to that found in ChRMs. Furthermore, no significant microbial translocation ( Escherichia coli) was detected in the colon or ileum of infected or uninfected NPMs, which again differed to that observed in ChRMs. In conclusion, NPMs retained superior intestinal integrity and limited microbial translocation during SIV infection, which may contribute to their lower immune activation compared with ChRMs.

As key population groups in HIV infection, transgender women (TGW) share the same oral and anal sexual practices with men who have sex with men (MSM). However, the differences in HIV rates between the two groups are still unclear. In our study, relevant publications were electronically searched in three databases. After excluding irrelevant studies based on review of the title, abstract, and full text, a total of 24 studies, including 37,521 cases, were identified. There were no significant differences between TGW and MSM regarding HIV status and condom use. However, TGW had a higher proportion of high-risk behaviors, including exchanges of sex, forced sex, receptive intercourse, and sex work experience. Moreover, most curable sexually transmitted diseases were more prevalent in the TGW group compared to MSM. Although TGW showed a higher proportion of high-risk behavior and sexually transmitted disease incidence, their HIV incidence was the same as that for MSM.

Seismic fragility provides a measure for evaluating the safety margin of structures above specific hazard levels. This study investigates the seismic fragility of arch dams using the dynamic damage analysis model of dam–reservoir–foundation systems, in which the radiation damping of semi-unbounded foundation rock, opening of contraction joints, and damage cracking of dam concrete are taken into account. The 210 m-high Dagangshan Dam in Southwest China is analyzed as a case study. Five hundred nonlinear damage analyses are performed using the Monte Carlo simulation technique considering both epistemic and aleatory uncertainties, which are characterized by random material parameters and ground motions, respectively. Three limit states, i.e., slight damage, moderate damage, and severe damage, are proposed according to the calculated damage distribution and joint opening, and seismic fragility curves are subsequently generated using the incremental dynamic analysis approach. Analysis results show that the Dagangshan Dam may be severely damaged by strong earthquakes when uncertainties in material parameters and ground motions are considered.

Parasites can increase infection rates and pathogenicity in immunocompromised human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) patients. However, in vitro studies and epidemiological investigations also suggest that parasites might escape immunocompromised hosts during HIV infection. Due to the lack of direct evidence from animal experiments, the effects of parasitic infections on immunocompromised hosts remain unclear. Here, we detected 14 different parasites in six northern pig-tailed macaques (NPMs) before or at the 50th week of simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) infection by ELISA. The NPMs all carried parasites before viral injection. At the 50th week after viral injection, the individuals with negative results in parasitic detection (i.e., 08247 and 08287) were characterized as the Parasites Exit (PE) group, with the other individuals (i.e., 09203, 09211, 10205, and 10225) characterized as the Parasites Remain (PR) group. Compared with the PR group, the NPMs in the PE group showed higher viral loads, lower CD4+ T cells counts, and lower CD4/CD8 rates. Additionally, the PE group had higher immune activation and immune exhaustion of both CD4+ and CD8+ T cells. Pathological observation showed greater injury to the liver, cecum, colon, spleen, and mesenteric lymph nodes in the PE group. This study showed more seriously compromised immunity in the PE group, strongly indicating that parasites might exit an immunocompromised host.

Viral reservoirs of HIV-1 are a major obstacle for curing AIDS. The novel animal models that can be directly infected with HIV-1 will contribute to develop effective strategies for eradicating infections. Here, we inoculated 4 northern pig-tailed macaques (NPM) with the HIV-1 strain HIV-1NL4.3 and monitored the infection for approximately 3 years (150 weeks). The HIV-1-infected NPMs showed transient viremia for about 10 weeks after infection. However, cell-associated proviral DNA and viral RNA persisted in the peripheral blood and lymphoid organs for about 3 years. Moreover, replication-competent HIV-1 could be successfully recovered from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) during long-term infection. The numbers of resting CD4+ T cells in HIV-1 infected NPMs harboring proviruses fell within a range of 2- to 3-log10 per million cells, and these proviruses could be reactivated both ex vivo and in vivo in response to co-stimulation with the latency-reversing agents JQ1 and prostratin. Our results suggested that NPMs can be infected with HIV-1 and a long-term viral reservoir was formed in NPMs, which might serve as a potential model for HIV-1 reservoir research.

Iridoids are a class of active compounds that widely exist in the plant kingdom. In recent years, with advances in phytochemical research, many compounds with novel structure and outstanding activity have been identified. Iridoid compounds have been confirmed to mainly exist as the prototype and aglycone and Ι and II metabolites, by biological transformation. These metabolites have been shown to have neuroprotective, hepatoprotective, anti-inflammatory, antitumor, hypoglycemic, and hypolipidemic activities. This review summarizes the new structures and activities of iridoids identified locally and globally, and explains their pharmacokinetics from the aspects of absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion according to the differences in their structures, thus providing a theoretical basis for further rational development and utilization of iridoids and their metabolites.

In this paper, an optimized model extended from single train braking predictive model is established. This model can use the data of past Nth trains to predict the train pipe output of (N + 1)th train for long-grouped train braking system. The simulation results show that this model can predict the following time series data in accordance with the experimental results with high accuracy, which means that the model has good predictive performance. The test results can help build an intelligent semi-physical freight train braking platform with long-grouped numbers.

Today, in order to overcome the low flexibility and low openness of traditional hardware communication systems, software-based software radio platforms have emerged. In order to more flexibly test the design of 3-bit tag passive wireless RFID strain patch antenna, this paper chooses to use energy detection algorithm on USRP to monitor the change of its resonant frequency. Second-order variable step detection is proposed to balance the sampling resolution and time cost, making spectrum sensing more intelligent. Good experimental results have been obtained, which provides a way to broaden the scope of application and reduce costs.

The paper uses the real DTM data with its high resolution in 2 meters/pixel and simulate the real lunar crater from the data. Then KA analytical method is used to calculate the S parameters and CPR of the lunar craters. Then we analyze the parameters in different location. Through calculation, we conclude that in the monostatic scattering system, S parameters are higher inside the crater than the flat surface around the crater. The side where the incidence wave comes from is higher than the opposite side. And CPR is higher in the side vertical to the angle of incidence than the other sides.

Owing to modern developments in the traditional medicine industry, more people now acknowledge the efficacy of traditional medicine. As the demand for herbal medicines gradually increases, the focus of the industry will shift to how to increase production while maintaining the high quality of raw materials and final products to promote the international trade in herbal medicines. In the long history of herbal medicine, many countries and regions have formulated relevant standards to regulate the cultivation of local herbs to ensure the safety and reliability of the products. Due to cultural and historical differences, the policies for formulating herbal cultivation standards vary greatly between regions, which hinders the international trade of herbal medicines. This paper collates the guidelines of good agricultural and collection practices of the European Union, China, World Health Organization and the United States, and makes a comprehensive comparison of its contents such as production environments, production area suitability, air, soil, and water standard regulations, inter alia. This article aims to explore the differences in good agriculture and collection practice in herbal medicine in various regions and provides a reference for the development of international guidelines for herbal quality management, which will aid with the development of herbal medicine quality standardization globally and exchange services in the trade of herbal medicines.

Chinese rhesus macaques (CRMs) are ideal experimental animals for studying the pathogenesis of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) and for vaccine research. SHIV89.6 has been reported to be an attenuated virus because, in most cases, SHIV89.6 infection only causes limited alteration of immune cells and tissues, and it has been used commonly for vaccine research. After two serial passages in vivo, SHIV (SHIV-89.6P) induces CD4 lymphopenia and an AIDS-like disease with wasting and opportunistic infections. However, the pathogenic ability of SHIV89.6 is not well understood. In this study, we found that 6 of 14 SHIV89.6-infected CRMs died within 127 weeks after infection. We found especially high immune activation, low IFN-α expression, and distinctive cytokine expression profiles in the infected and dead (ID) group of monkeys, while there was only few change in the CD4(+) T counts and distribution of T cell subsets in the ID group monkeys. Also, there was a similar dynamic of viral load between infected and surviving (IS) and ID group monkeys. Furthermore, we found various correlations among immune activation, IFN-α expression, and frequencies of cytokine-secreting cells. These results suggest that SHIV89.6 infections have pathogenic potential in CRMs and that high immune activation and abnormal expression of cytokines contribute to death of SHIV89.6-infected CRMs. This also implies that high immune activation may be relevant to dysfunction of immune cells. It is proposed that high immune activation and dysfunction of immune cells may be good predictors for disease progression and markers for therapy.

Chronic immune activation and systemic inflammation are underlying causes of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Products of virus replication and microbial translocation, co-infection or opportunistic pathogens, and danger-associated molecular patterns have been reported to contribute to chronic immune activation and inflammation in human immunodeficiency virus type-1/simian immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1/SIV) infection or other disease. To develop new strategies and therapies for HIV-1/AIDS, we tested if the CD24 and Fc fusion protein (CD24Fc), which interacts with danger-associated molecular patterns and sialic acid binding Ig-like lectin to attenuate inflammation, can protect Chinese rhesus macaques (ChRMs) with SIV infection. We found that CD24Fc treatment decreased weight loss, wasting syndrome, intractable diarrhea, and AIDS morbidity and mortality, while it was well tolerated by SIV-infected animals. Corresponding to the elimination of intractable diarrhea, CD24Fc significantly reduced the expression of IL-6 and indoleamine 2, 3-dioxygenase-1 in peripheral blood mononuclear cell and inflammation in the ileum, colon and rectum based on the reduction of inflammatory cells, pathological scores and expression of inflammatory cytokines. Furthermore, although CD24Fc did not restore CD4+ T cell number or significantly change T cell subsets or CD4+ T cell activation, it maintained low levels of plasma soluble CD14, CD8+ T cell activation, viral load and proviral load in the peripheral blood mononuclear cells and marrow. These results suggested that CD24Fc confers protection to SIV-infected ChRMs against progression to AIDS. It was also implied that CD24Fc may be a potential therapeutic approach for the control of HIV-1/AIDS.

The present paper decribed the effects of carbocoal on temperature rising characteristic during coal pyrolysis at different temperature in microwave field. Different mixture rate of carbocoal with coal and different final temperature on coal pyrolysis tempereature rising characteristics were studied in the work. The results indicate: Coal is a poorly microwave absorbing material. Because carbocoal can be fast heated in microwave field, so it can be used as additive for coal pyrolysis. Carbocoal otained from different pyrolysis temperature have different heating rate, along with the increase of carbocoal pyrolysis temperature, carbocoal heating rate increases in microwave field. Using carbocoal as microwave absorbent for coal rapid pyrolysis in microwave field is feasible.

Macaca leonina (northern pig-tailed macaques, NPMs) have variable disease progression during SIVmac239 infection. In the present study, we analysed, for the first time, the correlations between T-cell phenotypes and disease progression in NPMs during SIVmac239 infection. In comparison to normal progressors (NPs), slow progressors (SPs) had lower chronic T-cell activation and exhaustion levels. In addition, SPs showed higher peripheral CD4+ T-cell count and CD4 : CD8 ratio, and lower plasma viral load than NPs. CD4+ T-cell count and CD4 : CD8 ratio decreased more sharply in NPs than in SPs. Furthermore, T cells in NPs were more highly differentiated, at least in acute infection, than in SPs. These results indicated that T-cell phenotypes were correlated with disease progression in SIVmac239-infected NPMs and these correlations may provide valuable guidance for the improvement of therapeutic strategies tested in NPMs.

Gradual depletion of CD4

The elderly usually suffer from increased morbidity and mortality due to infectious diseases, and this process may be attributed to diminishing immune protection with age. This phenomenon is commonly referred to as immunosenescence. However, this theory is still not well defined. Non-human primates serve as a favorable model to facilitate the study in aging of the immune system. Here, we investigated the phenotypic features of T- and B-cell aging in peripheral blood from Chinese rhesus macaques, which included (1) a decrease of CD4/CD8 ratio; (2) a loss of naïve T cells accompanied with elevated proliferation and expansion of effector memory subset; (3) a reduction in B cell numbers and a shift from naïve B cells towards memory phenotype; and (4) increased levels of PD-1 expression in T cells and CD95 expression in B cells. Moreover, an accelerated decline in CD4(+) T cells and naïve T cells was found in male macaques, giving them a more severe immune risk profile. These data indicated that Chinese rhesus macaques share a significant homology with humans in phenotypic aging of adaptive immunity, and may be an appropriate animal model for human aging research.

Study on the occurrence state of carbon and oxygen in the coking coal has a certain guiding meaning to make the most use of coking coal. Divide coal samples into different density level by float-sink experiments, and then use XPS to investigate the types and content of carbon and oxygen. The XPS spectrum of raw coal shows that the elements of raw coal are mainly consists of carbon and oxygen, a little of sulfur and silicon. The fitting map indicates that the content of carbon decrease with the increasing density; oxygen is just the opposite. C-C and C-H are the main forms of carbon; Oxygen exists in the forms of C-O or C=O and-OH.

The screening and cellulase production study of cellulase production microorganisms was the basis for the purpose. CMC medium was used in this study to isolate cellulose degrading bacteria. As a result, six strains were obtained from the soil, one strains of which Streptomyces-2 had higher cellulase activities in the Liquid fermentation medium of Straw, which was 3.230U/mL. By morphological observation and physiochemical analysis, it was primarily classified as Streptomyces sp which study less. It provides a new species for the cellulase application in the field of bio-chemical. At the same time it provides a new way for the cellulase applied to microbial conversion for low-rank coal in the future.

The spatialresolvedemission spectrumof Ni atominlaserinduced Niplasma is measured in the wavelength region from 350 nm to 600 nm. The spatial evolution of the relative intensities and the Stark broadening of the 385.83 nm emission spectrum lines are also obtained. It is shown that Stark broadening and intensity of the spec- trum lines increases firstly to its maximum and then decreases along the direction of laser beam when the distance from the target surface is in the range from 0 to 2.5 mm. The maximum value of Stark broadening and relative intensity of the spectrum lines appear at 1.5 mm from the target surface.

Gradual depletion of CD4+ T cells is a typical characteristic of pathogenic SIV infection. Intriguingly, we find a spontaneous CD4+ T-cell homeostasis in northern pig-tailed macaques (Macaca leonina) during SIVmac239 infection.

Combining the virtual instrument technology with the fiber Bragg grating sensing technology, a new fiber Bragg grating sensing demodulation system based on Lab VIEW has been designed. The unbalanced Mach-Zehnder interferometer demodulation technology has been used in this system to translate the fiber Bragg grating wavelength signals in which the strain information is contained into the phase signals，and transfer it to the virtual instrument based on Lab VIEW with the high speed data acquisition card，then conduct process operations and results display [1]. At last, the value of measured strain can be obtained. Compared with the conventional demodulations system，the accuracy this interferometer demodulation system’s measurement has been increased greatly. At the same time, it solves the problem of high cost, large volume and only displays the wavelength with the conventional demodulations system.

The treatment of landfill leachate by Fenton process was carried out in a batch mode. The effect of operating conditions such as reaction time, pH, dosage of H2O2 and [H2O2]/[Fe2+] molar ratio and temperature on the efficacy of Fenton process was investigated. It is demonstrated that Fenton’s reagent can effectively degrade leachate organics in 30 min. The optimal conditions were pH was 3, dosage of H2O2 was 2 times of theoretical stoichiometry, [H2O2]/[Fe2+] molar ratio was 5, temperature influence the removal efficency relatively small compared to other factors.

In order to notably improve the mechanical properties and durability of low-grade cement-based material, superfine silica fume was used to modify the cement-based composite based on special perfomance and effects of nano powder. The mechanical performance and durability were investigated.Then the phase compositions,microstructure and morphologies of as-received cement-based composite were studied by X-ray Diffractometer、TGA-DTA and SEM. The results show that： the best formula of raw materials is 1:1:0.025:0.015, and hydration can be accelerated and increasing of hydration products is observed after modification. In the hardened cement matrix, microstructure is very compacted and C-S-H gel forms densed structure, so the structure defect is notably reduced. This means that both strength and durability of cement-based composite are notably improved by the addition of superfine silica fume.

nanoPd nanoparticles were prepared using ultrasonic irradiation in the PdCl2/H2O/EtOH solution by the addition of a quantity of hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) and sodium dodecyl sulfonate (SDS) . The products were characterized by XRD、TEM and low temperature nitrogen adsorption-desorption. The effects of the composition of CTAB and SDS on the growth morphology of palladium nanoparticles were investigated. The results indicate that the size and morphology of the nanoPd particles were controllable by adjusting the ratio of CTAB and SDS. The polygonal nanoPd particles with a distributed size of 10-20 nm were obtained when the molar ratio of CTAB:SDS was 1:1 and the reaction time was 60min. The nanoparticles obtained by addition of two surfactants (CTAB and SDS) increased the BET surface area by 14 m2∙g-1compared to that obtained without surfactant.

The fly ash and coal gangue were used as main raw materials to roast solid insulating brick.Lower than solid clay brick (300 °C) which belongs to low temperature roasting , roasting time cycle is 24 h ,the ratio of fly ash and coal gangue is 60% :35%. the B7 admixing expanded pearlite compressive strength is 30.25 MPa . Strength reach general clay brick MU30 high-class level .Thermal coefficient of conduction is 0.4 W/(m.K), lower than general clay brick thermal coefficient of conduction 0.78 W/(m.K); In addition , B7 XRD pattern has evident quartz、mullite diffraction character peak and TGA-DTA pattern between 900°C~1200°C, following temperature rise, green body heat-absorbing , begin melt 、glass reduction .The result is high in strengths . SEM scanning show : after being roasted in 950°C , globular solid glass bead 、pearlitic drusy pearlite 、flocculation aluminosilicate phase and so on , raw materials particle interstices were filled with viscous hyaline, so that B7 turned out high strengths . Acidproof、alkaliproof、freezing test and strengths results show: the lasting quality of solid insulating brick was best.

Single spinel phase nanocrystalline ferrite (Ni0.5Zn0.5)1-XCoxFe2O4was prepared using the spraying co-precipitation method. The coercivity of prepared (Ni0.5Zn0.5)1-XCoxFe2O4 increases with an increasing content of cobalt. The enhancement of the saturation magnetization was observed up to the maximum value of 102.1emu/g as x was 0.5. This can be attributed to the substitution of the Ni2+ and Zn2+ ions with Co2+ ions. This changed the net magnetic moment between the sublattices of structure.

Nanocrystalline CoFe2O4 ferrite have been synthesized by a spraying-coprecipitation method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Transmission electron microscope (TEM) confirmed the formation of single-phase CoFe2O4 ferrite nanoparticles in the range 10 nm ~ 100 nm depending on the calcining temperature. The magnetic measurements show that specific saturation magnetization of nanocrystalline CoFe2O4 ferrite increases from 36.1 A•m2•kg-1 to 88.6 A•m2•kg-1 as grain size increases from 12 nm to 98 nm. The coercivity shows a peak with grain size, peaking at around 43 nm. The magnetic behaviour of nanocrystalline CoFe2O4 ferrite might be attributed to the effects of surface and random anisotropy.

Non-human primates are natural virus reservoirs, whether wild or domestic. In this study, we determined the seroprevalence of common viruses by ELISA in a northern pig-tailed macaque (Macaca leonina) colony derived from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. A total of 20 types of virus which are commonly selected as target microorganisms for specific-pathogen-free colonies, or which have zoonotic potential were included in this study. The results showed only 2 in 90 northern pig-tailed macaques were seronegative for all the detected viruses, and at least 16 out of the total 20 types of virus tested were prevalent in this colony, so these macaques were commonly infected by various viruses. These macaques should be carefully assessed for viral seroprevalence in order to prevent zoonotic diseases from being transferred to human beings.
