Osimertinib may improve the prognosis of patients with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) T790M-mutated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC); however, to date, the efficacy and safety of osimertinib plus bevacizumab have not been elucidated.We aimed to investigate the additional effect of bevacizumab plus osimertinib compared with osimertinib alone in NSCLC patients with EGFR T790M mutation.In this study, 32 patients received osimertinib alone, while 20 patients received osimertinib plus bevacizumab. The median follow-up was 12 months. Overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) were estimated and adverse events (AEs) were compared.The overall response rate (ORR) was higher in the combination group than in the osimertinib-alone group (70.0% vs. 43.8%), and the OS (12.8% ± 7.7% vs. 45.4% ± 12.0%; p = 0.038) and PFS (37.3% ± 11.9% vs. 55.3% ± 14.3%; p = 0.045) were also significantly improved in patients who underwent osimertinib plus bevacizumab. Furthermore, the incidence of hypertension was significantly higher in the combination arm when compared with osimertinib alone (p = 0.003), and the number of other AEs were not significantly increased by adding bevacizumab (all p 0.05).Concomitant use of bevacizumab and osimertinib in NSCLC patients with EGFR T790M mutation may have potential therapeutic effect than osimertinib alone. Further studies with a larger number of patients are warranted to confirm results of this study.

We elucidate here the determining role of Nb interlayer on mechanical properties of Ti/steel clad plate fabricated by vacuum rolling cladding (VRC) as a function of different heating temperatures. A critical analysis on the clad interface via electron probe micro-analyzer, X-ray diffractometer and shear testing were conducted to investigate the influence of TiC, Fe-Nb and TiFe compounds and Nb-Ti solid solution on microstructural evolution and shear properties of Ti/steel clad plate. The inter-diffusion between Ti, C and Fe was effectively restrained by adding the Nb interlayer at heating temperature of 800 &deg, C, and average shear strength of 279 MPa was achieved. With increase of heating temperature, Nb-Ti solid solution was formed at the Ti/Nb interface, which reduced mechanical properties of clad plate at 900 &deg, C. At 1000 &deg, C, TiC and Nb-Fe compounds and Nb-Ti solid solution were formed at the interface, and minimum average shear strength of 152 MPa was achieved. The detailed analysis on the clad interface suggested that ideal shear strength can be obtained through the addition of Nb interlayer and selecting appropriate heating temperature.

Development of smart grid spawned the big data in electric power industry, the cloud computing platform provided the solution for the big data in electric power industry, it has a significant effect for batch jobs, but its real-time is not guaranteed. For the real-time problem of cloud computing platform, the Storm platform will be introduced to monitor the grid power. This paper studies the fair share scheduling algorithm under the Storm platform. It introduced the concept of Storm framework briefly, then, proposed the fair share scheduling algorithm according to the lack of current Storm scheduling algorithm, finally, the experiment proved that the scheduling algorithm based on fair share improved the resource utilization of Storm cluster and reduced the processing delay of the data.

The design of TCP/IP is the key of the success of Internet. Due to the network considered as a “black box”, the congestion control algorithm becomes the most important part of TCP. TCP Westwood provides an eligible rate estimation algorithm that improves upon the performance of TCP Reno in wired as well as wireless networks. The improvement is most significant in wireless networks with lossy links. In mobile communication, due to the node mobility, the bandwidth shifting requires higher demands to QoS. In mobile networks with high bandwidth, such as 3G/LTE, the bandwidth will shift rapidly in different positions. We call this bandwidth instability, which is the cause of the degradation of performance. However, Westwood TCP or the other popular TCP cannot response quickly to this situation. In this paper, we verify the problem mentioned above of varied TCP protocols. After that, we propose an improved fast recovery mechanism based on Westwood TCP. The new mechanism can adjust the congestion window in time when the bandwidth shifts.

A new random access method is submitted in this paper, which can be used in Satellite-UMTS system and others characterized long transmission delay. With reference to the access design in S-UMTS, the method designs some new configurations for access frame and slot, and proposes a new way to transmit the access request. With the enlargement of spreading ratio for access message, the bit error ratio of message is reduced. The detection probability of access preamble is enhanced because of augmentation for its length and increased length of preamble code, which can reduce the collision probability. The enlargement of protected interval time can cope with the difference of transmission delay between user equipment (UE) under the same beam-spot. The proposal transmission procedure can improve average accepted time in evidence. In addition, Maximum-Like algorithm is suggested to detect the preamble code of UE and reduce times of compute.
