Abstract

Most existing distributed estimation and control algorithms for mobile sensor networks rely on the information of both position and velocity of neighbour sensors. The authors' investigate the distributed estimation and control of mobile sensor network with only position measurements. Based on the Kalman-consensus filter and the flocking algorithm, all mobile sensors move to a target, and achieve consensus on the estimations of the target. Under the assumption that the initial interactive network is connected, the stability of the cascading system is proved via Lyapunov stability theory and matrix principle. Moreover, a sufficient stability condition in the form of the boundary conditions of the feedback gain is proposed for the mobile sensor network. Some numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of theoretical results.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the supplier development (SD) in construction industry. As the supplier's production capacity cannot meet the construction requirements, the owner wants to take incentives to encourage the supplier to improve its production capacity. A principal-agent model and a Stackelberg game model are proposed to study the impact of owner's incentives including cost sharing and purchase price incentive on the production capacity improvement in SD. Furthermore, we give a sensitivity analysis of the influence of supplier's internal and external parameters, i.e., purchase quantity, cost structure, market price and market demand, etc., on the production capacity improvement. The findings of this study can help the owner to make a better decision on the incentive mechanisms for SD, resulting in both better SD practices and a win-win situation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Simulating and rendering realistic ocean is always one of the most popular and difficult tasks in computer graphics and oceanography. However, because of the restriction of computer software and hardware conditions, mass data and real-time, there are less people to research global ocean simulation. Under the background of global environment simulation, the paper describes a solution for the application of global ocean simulation on the basis of previous work, and realizes the visualization system successfully using OSG (OpenSceneGraph) API and all kinds of open-source libraries, and demonstrates the result of cross-sea flight. At last, we analysis the deficiencies of our solution and make some improvement suggestions.

Abstract

This paper designs and implements a financial invoice recognition system based on the features of the Chinese financial invoice. By using the linear whole block moving method in each vertical segment, a new fast algorithm is put forward to detect and rectify slanted images. To distinguish the different form types (the foundation necessary for locating the form fields, filtering the form lines, etc), several representative form features are discussed and an invoice-type features library is built by using a semi-automatic machine study method. On the basis of the recognized invoice type, a real invoice form is re-oriented against the corresponding blank form according to the invoice type feature, solving the problem of adhesion of characters and form lines, as well as the problem of character segmentation and recognition. Based on the financial Chinese invoice image feature, a mutual rectification mechanism founded on the recognition results of financial Chinese characters and Arabic numerals is put forward to raise the recognition rate. Finally, experimental results and conclusions are presented.
