Background: The number of gynecological cancer survivors in Indonesia is growing, yet little is recognized about their supportive care needs due to a lack of validated assessment to measure them. This study aimed to culturally adapt the Cancer survivors' unmet needs into Indonesian language and to test its validity and reliability for Indonesian gynecological cancer patients. Methods: We performed the translation and adaptation of the Cancer survivors' unmet needs based on Beaton's cross-cultural adaptation process of self-report measure. We then evaluated the psycho-metric properties of Cancer survivors' unmet needs-Indonesian with 298 participants from three hospitals across Indonesia. Results: Five factors were extracted from Exploratory Factor Analysis with factor loading >0.4. Cancer survivors' unmet needs-Indonesian had negative correlations with the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire-C30, indicating that the higher score of unmet needs resulted in the lower score of quality of life. The Cronbach's α coefficient for the Cancer survivors' unmet needs-Indonesian ranged from 0.75-0.95. Conclusions: The Cancer survivors' unmet needs-Indonesian version offers a valid and reliable scale for assessing supportive care needs among Indonesian gynecological cancer patients. The Cancer survivors' unmet needs-Indonesian could help clinicians to assess supportive care needs among Indonesian gynecological cancer patients. The low-resource countries such as Indonesia could use the evidence from the Cancer survivors' unmet needs assessment to develop the supportive care service in the clinical settings.

Background: Health communication in the COVID-19 pandemic can be effectively implemented if all members of the populations, including marginalized population such as migrant domestic workers (MDWs), have good eHealth literacy. Lessons learned during this critical period may help improve planning and mitigation of the impacts of future health crises. Methods: This study aimed to examine and explore the eHealth literacy levels of the MDWs in Hong Kong during the COVID-19 pandemic by using a convergent mixed methods research design. A total of 1156 Hong Kong MDWs participated in a paper-based survey using a multistage cluster random sampling design for the quantitative component. eHealth literacy was measured using an eHealth literacy Scale (eHEALS). For the qualitative component, a purposive sampling of 19 MDWs participated in face-to-face, semi-structured, in-depth interviews. Descriptive statistics and multiple regression analyses were used to carry out the quantitative analysis, while thematic analysis was used for the qualitative analysis. Both quantitative and qualitative data were merged and integrated for mixed-methods analysis. Results: The meta-inferences of the quantitative and qualitative results mainly confirmed that MDWs in Hong Kong had good levels of eHealth literacy. The use of Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp as the COVID-19 information sources, in addition to having an interest in the topic of the current spread of COVID-19 together with the Hong Kong government's policies related to COVID-19, were found to be associated with eHealth literacy. Conclusions: The eHealth literacy level of MDWs in Hong Kong was shown to be good and it was influenced by the use of popular social media platforms including Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp. It is realistic to suggest that such platforms should be harnessed for health communication during the pandemic. Background: Fear of cancer recurrence is a long-term psychological problem of the cancer survivors regardless of the type of cancer. A growing number of studies had addressed fear of cancer recurrence, yet they are largely focused on the breast cancer survivors of the western world countries. This study investigates the fear of cancer recurrence and its relations to social support in Indonesian gynecological cancer survivors. Methods: Gynecological cancer survivors (n = 153) in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, Indonesia completed Fear of Cancer Recurrence Inventory, Interpersonal Support Evaluation List, socio-demographic and clinically-related characteristics questionnaires. Pearson r correlation tests, t-tests, and ANOVAs were used to identify the relationships between variables, and linear regression to determine to what extent the social support may predict the survivors' fear of recurrence. Results: Indonesian gynecological cancer survivors with higher social support were more likely to experience lower levels of fear of cancer recurrence. Whereas, having a family history of cancer was an important predictor of fear of cancer recurrence levels. Conclusion: Social support plays an essential role in predicting fear of cancer recurrence among Indonesian gynecological cancer survivors.

COVID-19 vaccination in adolescents is important because the adolescent population has the highest incidence of COVID-19. This study aimed to explore the factors associated with COVID-19 vaccination adherence among Indonesian adolescents. This cross-sectional study involved 7986 adolescents, polled through online and offline surveys conducted in six major islands of Indonesia. The online questionnaire was distributed through popular social messaging and social media platforms. Our team also contacted schools and public places to recruit participants from remote areas. In total, 7299 respondents completed the questionnaire. Binary logistic analysis revealed that higher levels of knowledge, positive attitudes, and confidence in the COVID-19 vaccine were significantly associated with higher COVID-19 vaccination adherence in adolescents. Sociodemographic factors were also significantly associated with higher adherence to vaccination programs. Meanwhile, younger age and habitation in private housing were related to lower adherence to the vaccination program. Parental factors related to adolescent compliance were education level, household income, history of infection of family or friends with COVID-19, and working status. The national authorities and stakeholders should take extensive measures to increase attitude, knowledge, confidence, and family support among adolescence through multiple channels. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe the experiences of sexual relationship after a nurse-led psychosexual intervention for Indonesian cervical cancer survivors and their husbands. Design: A qualitative descriptive study was conducted. Participants and methods: Sixteen cervical cancer survivors and their husbands who had participated in the nurse-led psychosocial intervention were invited for semi-structured in-depth interviews. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis. Findings: Four themes were identified: (1) lessening suffering; (2) supporting each other to regain sexual life (2a) finding reasons to do or undo sexual intercourse, (2 b) "How can I bring back my wife's sexual desire?," (2c) "Finally, I get to a climax;" (3) getting more intimate and caring about each other, and (4) "Now I'm getting more confident." Cervical cancer survivors and their husbands experienced overall positive outcomes in their sexual and intimate relationship after a psychosexual intervention. Conclusions: The psychosexual intervention helped the survivors and their husbands adapt and manage sexual dysfunction following cancer treatment. Nurses and other healthcare professionals should initiate psychosexual care by assessing the concerns and needs of women diagnosed with cervical cancer, as an integral part of their care plan. Fear of cancer recurrence (FCR) is the most common psychological issue amongst gynecological cancer survivors, and yet it remains unexplored, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia. Hence, this study aimed to identify the predictive factors of FCR among gynecological cancer survivors in Indonesia. A descriptive cross-sectional design was used. Women diagnosed with gynecological cancer, who had completed primary treatment were recruited from a referral hospital in Jakarta, Indonesia. Data were collected using a demographic and disease-related questionnaire and the Fear of Cancer Recurrence Inventory. Pearson's correlations test, t-test, and linear regression analysis were performed. A total of 114 women participated in this study. Age was the strongest predictor of FCR in the domains of severity, psychological distress, insights, and reassurance. Marital status and type of treatment strongly predicted the FCR domains of functional impairment and coping strategies, respectively (P < .05). The findings of this study indicate the importance of patient characteristics while addressing the issue of FCR among gynecological cancer survivors. Further studies aimed at understanding FCR among gynecological cancer survivors may provide insight into the aspects of this condition that necessitate more attention. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Purpose The study aims to develop and test the effectiveness and efficiency of the SIMPRO. SIMPRO was developed with NANDA-I, Nursing Intervention Classification, and Nursing Outcome Classification nursing language. Method The research was divided into two parts, in which we used two different designs-incremental and quasi-experimental design. Two hundred fifty-five samples of nursing documentations were randomly assessed with computer-assisted clustering out of 1,040 nursing records of discharged patients. Data were analyzed using Wilcoxon test to compare each elements of evaluation before and after the implementation of the system. Result SIMPRO improved the quality of documentation ( p = .0001) and time efficiency ( p = .0001). Conclusion SIMPRO increased the quality and functions of the decision support system in delivering nursing care as well as in nursing management. Tujuan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji keefektifan dan efisiensi SIMPRO. SIMPRO adalah sistem informasi manajemen keperawatan yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan NANDA-I, Nursing Intervention Classification dan Nursing Outcome Classification. Metode Penelitian ini dibagi menjadi dua tahap yang menggunakan desain incremental dan kuasi-eksperimental. 255 sampel dokumentasi keperawatan diambil secara acak dengan menggunakan klustering yang dibantu dengan komputer dari 1040 catatan keperawatan pasien yang sudah pulang. Data dianalisis dengan Uji Wilcoxon untuk membandingkan masing-masing elemen sebelum dan sesudah implementasi sistem. Hasil SIMPRO memperbaiki kualitas dokumentasi ( p = .0001) dan efisiensi ( p = .0001). Unmet supportive care needs have been shown to lower the quality of life of cancer patients, including those with gynecological cancer. Therefore, we examined how the unmet supportive care needs might predict the quality of life of gynecology cancer patients under-going therapy. We had a convenience sample of 153 patients from two major cancer hospitals in Jakarta, Indonesia, complete the SCNS-SF34 and EORTC QLQ-30. Analysis showed that unmet supportive care needs predict poorer quality of life (i.e., lower global health status and functional status, and more cancer-related symptoms). This study emphasizes the need for supportive care services in the areas of psychological, physical, and sexuality to be prioritized to improve the patients' quality of life.
