Through a 360° video of Dali''s artistic universe, this study examines the benefits of using virtual reality rather than computer, but also attempts to compare passive immersive experience (PC and VR) to active one (VR) within an implicit learning context. If a general increase in the positive state (wonder) was observed after the participants watched the video, a better memory of the elements of the artistic universe explored, and a more playful perception of the video were observed only when participants had the opportunity to control their movements in the environment. Overall, this study highlights the conditions under which virtual reality offers interesting opportunities in implicit learning context., À partir d’une situation d’exploration d’une vidéo en 360° de l’univers artistique de Dali, cette étude a pour objectif d’examiner les bénéfices à utiliser la réalité virtuelle (RV) plutôt que l’ordinateur (PC) et s’interroge sur les conditions de navigation à privilégier dans le contexte d’un apprentissage incident. La navigation dans l’environnement pouvait être soit passive (PC et RV), soit active (RV). Si une augmentation du ressenti émotionnel positif (émerveillement) est observée chez tous les participants après avoir regardé la vidéo, une meilleure mémoire des éléments de l’oeuvre artistique explorée et une perception plus ludique de la vidéo émergent uniquement lors d’une navigation active dans l’environnement. Les autotests sont présents depuis de nombreuses années dans les pharmacies d’officine, notamment les tests de grossesse et les bandelettes urinaires. En 2015 l’autotest de dépistage du VIH fait son entrée sur le marché et ouvre ainsi la voie à de nombreux autres autotests de dépistage : recherche d’une carence en fer, présence d’albumine dans les urines, hypercholestérolémie, intolérance au gluten, recherche d’anticorps antitétaniques. Ces nouveaux outils sont des dispositifs médicaux de diagnostic in vitro et sont destinés à être utilisés à domicile par le patient lui-même, d’où la nécessité de l’accompagner au mieux dans cette démarche. Ils appartiennent au monopole pharmaceutique et sont par conséquent délivrés par le pharmacien. L’Académie Nationale de Pharmacie a publié en 2018 un rapport sur les autotests et TROD et le rôle du pharmacien d’officine dans le parcours de santé du patient. Ce dernier évalue la pertinence clinique de ces dispositifs et les allégations des fabricants. Il classifie ces différents tests d’utiles, éventuellement utiles ou à éviter. Les autotests restant encore peu connus et étudiés à l’heure actuelle, le travail effectué ici a pour objectif d’analyser ces dispositifs pour évaluer leur utilité dans le cadre du dépistage. Ainsi, sont développés la législation qui les encadre, leur mode de fonctionnement ainsi que leurs performances. Après comparaison avec les examens de référence en laboratoire de biologie médicale, les autotests classés « à conseiller » font l’objet d’un développement sur les recommandations à apporter lors de leur délivrance et l’orientation à donner en fonction du résultat, notamment à l’aide d’arbres décisionnels.

Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disease associated with loss or dysfunction of dopaminergic neurons located in the substantia nigra (SN), and there is no cure available. An emerging new approach for treatment is to transplant human induced dopaminergic neurons directly into the denervated striatal brain target region. Unfortunately, neurons grafted into the substantia nigra are unable to grow axons into the striatum and thus do not allow recovery of the original connectivity. Towards overcoming this general limitation in guided neuronal regeneration, we develop here magnetic nanoparticles functionalized with proteins involved in the regulation of axonal growth. We show covalent binding of constitutive active human rat sarcoma (RAS) proteins or RAS guanine nucleotide exchange factor catalytic domain of son of sevenless (SOS) by fluorescence correlation spectroscopy and multiangle light scattering as well as the characterization of exchange factor activity. Human dopaminergic neurons were differentiated from neural precursor cells and characterized by electrophysiological and immune histochemical methods. Furthermore, we demonstrate magnetic translocation of cytoplasmic \(\gamma-Fe_{2}O_{3}@SiO_{2}\) core-shell nanoparticles into the neurite extensions of induced human neurons. Altogether, we developed tools towards remote control of directed neurite growth in human dopaminergic neurons. These results may have relevance for future therapeutic approaches of cell replacement therapy in Parkinson’s disease.

International audience; Iron oxide nanoparticles are intended to be used in bio-applications for drug delivery associated with hyperthermia. However, their interactions with complex media often induces aggregation, and thus a detrimental decrease of their heating efficiency. We have investigated the role of iron oxide nanoparticles dispersion into dense aggregates composed with magnetic/non-magnetic nanoparticles and showed that, when iron oxide nanoparticles were well-distributed into the aggregates, the specific absorption rate reached 79% of the value measured for the well-dispersed case. This study should have a strong impact on the applications of magnetic nanoparticles into nanostructured materials for therapy or catalysis applications.
