The subject of this article is the analysis of the protective function of labour law with regard to the foreigners��� rights and their position on the labour market. This article shows the essence of the protective function of the law in order to guarantee the fundamental human rights and freedoms, including first and foremost the protective role of labour law. The author has mainly used the legal-dogmatic method. The research also used the research required for work, support in the work supporting Polish and EU law in the field of labor law regulations, and thus in assessing the effectiveness of the protective function of employment of foreigners. The publication also includes a deductive method ��� assessments and judgments developed by means of deduction in combination with the normative material subject to the regulation, indicating the flaws and imperfections of contemporary legal regulations. The main thesis of the research is: the protective function of labor law in relation to foreigners has an impact on the implementation of the principle of non-discrimination and is a guarantee of freedom of movement between countries for gainful purposes. Praca zawiera artykuły w języku angielskim., The main purpose of this study was to assess the effluent treatment efficiency after bioaugmentation of the activated sludge spiked with the landfill leachate from the bottom sediments of the Kalina pond in Świętochłowice with P. putida OR45a and P. putida KB3 strains, as well as their consortium. Moreover, the impact of introduced bacteria on the activated sludge condition, enzymatic activity, content of live biomass and the functional potential of the autochthonous microbial communities present in this environment was evaluated. Analysis of the operational parameters and indicators of the activated sludge condition and functional potential of indigenous microorganisms showed a strong correlation between the application of bioaugmentation strategy in the bioreactors loaded with the leachate from the Kalina pond and high microbiological activity and efficiency of the wastewater treatment process. Inoculation of the activated sludge with P. putida KB3 strain proved to be the most effective solution among the bioaugmentation strategies that have been used. Due to the high bioaugmentation potential, introduction of/1- putida KB3 strain into activated sludge can be an effective solution to the problems of many wastewater treatment plants loaded with phenolic landfill leachate.

Postural instability is common in Parkinson's disease (PD), often contributing to falls, injuries, and reduced mobility. In the clinical setting, balance disorder is commonly diagnosed using clinical tests and balance scales, but it is suggested that the most sensitive measurement is the force platform. The aim of this systematic review was to summarize the methods and various posturographic procedures used to assess the body balance and gait in PD. A systematic review was conducted of papers published from 2000 to 2017. Databases searched were PubMed and EBSCO. Studies must have involved patients with PD, used force platform or motion analysis system as a measurement tool, and described posturographic procedure. The Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro) scale was used to assess the methodological quality of the included studies. A total of 32 studies met the inclusion criteria. The PEDro scores ranged from 5 to 7 points. The analysis of the objective methods assessing balance disorders revealed a large discrepancy in the duration and procedures of measurements. The number of repetitions of each trial fluctuated between 1 and 8, and the duration of a single trial ranged from 10 to 60 seconds. Overall, there are many scales and tests used to assess the balance disorders and disabilities of people with PD. Although in many included studies the authors have used posturography as a method to evaluate the postural instability of PD patients, the results are contradictory. To solve this issue, it is indicated to establish a "gold standard" of procedures of measures of balance.
