2. Research on wireless monitoring system for internal temperature field of coal gangue mountain

Abstract

In the long-term accumulation process, coal gangue can lead to severe consequences such as spontaneous combustion and explosions due to external factors. Additionally, the coal gangue that ignites spontaneously significantly pollutes the land and groundwater, causing serious risks to the health and safety of individuals living and working in the vicinity. Therefore, to mitigate the risk of spontaneous combustion resulting from the long-term accumulation of coal gangue, a monitoring system based on LoRa wireless communication technology is proposed to collect and monitor the internal temperature of coal gangue mountains in real time. In the laboratory, active temperature rise monitoring was conducted on the simulated coal gangue pile to effectively observe the range of temperature diffusion. Simultaneously, field tests were performed in the coal gangue mountain at the coal mine. The laboratory simulation and field test results demonstrate that the system can effectively monitor the internal temperature changes of the gangue mountain, particularly within the horizontal range of 0–0.2 m near the heat source and the vertical range of 0–0.3 m. In addition, the system test indicates that the maximum effective transmission distance for penetration between the main control station and the node is 8 m, while the distance between the nodes is 7.14 m. The system demonstrates strong feasibility for monitoring and providing early warnings regarding the internal temperature of the coal gangue mountain.

Abstract

Basing on the analysis of the expert-analytical activity of vocational education teachers, the authors of the paper developed a system of professional competencies and professional development programme in monitoring, evaluation and quality management. The program was tested in training groups of teachers. After the study the level of formed competence, satisfaction with training, and difficulties in the training of teachers were examined.The study used the methods of pedagogical experiment, invariant methods of monitoring and evaluation, statistical methods of data analysis, verification of statistical hypotheses. The effectiveness of retraining programmes has been in vestigated in the experimental and control groups.

Abstract

Актуальність. Актуальність теми полягає в тому, що виникає потреба моніторингу та перевірки технічного стану різних інженерних об’єктів на наявність деформацій, тріщин, для забезпечення надійності, міцності, прогнозування граничного терміну експлуатації та безвідмовної роботи в окремих елементах і вузлах конструкцій. Моніторинг за допомогою тензодатчиків на сьогоднішній день не дає точних результатів, так як тензодатчики поступаються волоконно-оптичним датчикам за своєю точністю, та мають кращі властивості та можливості для реалізації їх у сучасних системах моніторингу. Об'єкт дослідження. Процес вимірювання деформації за допомогою волоконно-оптичного датчика. Предмет дослідження. Волоконно-оптичний датчик на основі брегівських решіток. Мета роботи. Змоделювати процес вимірювання деформації за допомогою волоконно-оптичного датчика. Для досягнення поставленої мети необхідно вирішити наступні задачі: 1. Розглянути стан проблеми моніторингу деформації. 2. Дослідити характеристики ВОД на основі брегівських решіток. 3. Промоделювати процес вимірювання деформації ВОД. 4. Розробити стартап-проект «Моделювання процесу вимірювання деформації за допомогою волоконно-оптичного датчика». Наукова новизна. Удосконалено схему каналу вимірювання деформації брегівським волоконно-оптичним датчиком комплексної системи моніторингу за рахунок виключення з неї спектроаналізатора і перенесення його функцій у програмну частину. 6 Практична цінність. Полягає у використанні волоконно-оптичних датчиків на основі брегівських решіток у системах моніторингу для вирішення задач контролю напружено-деформованого стану інженерних споруд., Topicality. The urgency of the topic is that there is a need for monitoring and verification of the technical condition of various engineering objects for the presence of deformations, cracks, for reliability, durability, prediction of the limiting period of operation and failure-free operation in separate elements and units of structures. Monitoring with strain gauges today does not give exact results, since strain gauges inferior to fiber-optic sensors in their accuracy, and have better properties and opportunities for their implementation in modern monitoring systems. Object of study. The process of measuring deformation using a fiber-optic sensor. Subject of study. Fiber-optic sensor based on the Bragg's gratings. The goal of the work. Modulate the deformation measurement process using a fiber optic sensor. To achieve this goal, the following tasks must be solved: 1. Consider the state of the problem of monitoring deformation. 2. Explore the characteristics of fiber optic sensor based on Bragg's gratings. 3. To model the process of measuring the deformation of a fiber optic sensor. 4. Develop a startup project "Simulation of the deformation measurement process using a fiber-optic sensor". Scientific novelty. The scheme of the deformation channel measurement channel by the Bragg’s fiber-optic sensor of the complex monitoring system is improved due to the exclusion of the spectroanalyser from it and the transfer of its functions to the program part. Practical value. It is necessary to use fiber-optic sensors based on the Bragg's gratings in monitoring systems for solving the problems of controlling the stress-strain state of engineering structures.
