In recent years, the competition environment was not as challenging asit is today, so companies could increase profits by increasing their sellingprices. However, the companies have to reduce costs in order to be able to makeprofit in these days due to fact that the globalization has brought competitionenvironment. The one of the most important way to minimize cost in assemblylines is to eliminate or minimize non-productive times. Work sampling is one ofthe cheapest and the simple method in order to determine the non-productivetimes. In this study, work sampling is applied with the REFA (Reichsausschuss Für Arbeitszeitermittlung) standards in a company that assemble construction and agricultural vehicles.The samples are determined by statistical methods and certain recommendationsare offered to eliminate non-productive times., Geçmiş yıllarda rekabetortamı bugünkü kadar zorlu olmadığından şirketler karlarını satış fiyatlarınıartırarak sağlayabiliyorlardı. Günümüzde küreselleşen ve büyüyen ortam beraberinderekabeti getirmiş, bunun neticesinde ise şirketler satış fiyatını artırmaşansları olmadığından kar elde edebilmek amacıyla maliyetlerini düşürme yolunabaşvurmak zorunda kalmışlardır. Montaj hatlarında maliyeti minimize etmenin enönemli yolu kayıp zamanları tespit ederek, yok etmek veya minimum seviyeyeindirmektir. Kayıp zamanların tespitindeuygulanabilecek en ucuz, emeği en düşük ve en kısa sürede sonuca ulaşılabilecekyöntem ise iş örneklemesidir. Bu çalışmada iş ve tarım makinaları montajı yapanbir işletmede REFA (Reichsausschuss Für Arbeitszeitermittlung) standartları ileiş örneklemesi uygulaması yapılmıştır. Örneklemeler istatistiksel metotlar ilebelirlenmiş ve kayıp zamanlar için çözüm önerileri getirilmiştir.

Montaj hattı dengeleme literatüründe hazırlık zamanlarını dikkate alan sınırlı sayıda çalışma bulunmaktadır. Aynı zamanda bu çalışmalarda hazırlık zamanlarının deterministik olduğu varsayılmıştır. Fakat gerçek uygulamalarda görev ve hazırlık zamanları insan faktörü, makine arızaları, donanım eksikliği ve çevresel faktörler gibi nedenlerden dolayı değişkenlik gösterebilmektedir. Bu nedenle, çalışmada stokastik sıra-bağımlı hazırlık zamanlarını dikkate alan montaj hattı dengeleme problemi incelenmiştir. Problemin çözümüne yönelik bir matematiksel model önerilmiş ve belirli test problemleri üzerinde hesaplama analizleri yapılmıştır. There is limited number of papers which consider setup times in assembly line balancing literature. Additionally, in these studies setup times are assumed as deterministic. Nevertheless, task and setup times can include variation due to human factors, machine breakdowns, lack of equipment and environmental factors in real life applications. Therefore, in this study assembly line balancing problem with stochastic sequence-dependent setup time is studied. A mathematical model is proposed for solving the problem and computational analysis is made on certain test problems.

Bu tez demontaj sistemi tasarımına; hat dengeleme, verim performans değerlendirme ve bütünleşik montaj/demontaj hattı dengeleme problemine odaklanmaktadır. İlk olarak, demontaj hattı dengeleme problemi incelenmiş ve problem çözümü için ışın arama yöntemine dayalı bir yaklaşım önerilmiştir. Önerilen algoritmanın sonuçları, iyi bilinen gerçek durumların ve üretilen test problemleri en uygun çözümleri ile karşılaştırılmıştır. İkinci olarak, kaynak kısıtlı demontaj hattı dengeleme problemi için yeni bir matematiksel model geliştirilmiştir. Amaç, verilen çevrim süresi altında kaynakların ve iş istasyonlarının sayısını en aza indirmektir. Üçüncü olarak, paralel montaj ve demontaj hat sistemi olarak adlandırılan, bütünleşik hat tasarımı için yeni bir dengeleme problemi tanımlanmış ve bu bağlamda çözüm yaklaşımları sunulmuştur. Önerilen yöntem, ürün ve parçaların ters hareket ettiği iki ayrı hattan oluşur; bunlardan bir tanesi montaj, diğeri de demontaj işlemi içindir. Aynı ürünün hat üzerinde montaj ve demontaj nedeniyle, bazı görevlerin benzer olduğu düşünülür. Bu nedenle, problemin çözümüne yönelik tam sayılı doğrusal programlama modeli ve karınca kolonisi temeli bir sezgisel yaklaşım geliştirilmiştir. Benzer montaj ve demontaj görevlerinin aynı veya birbirine yakın istasyonlara atanırken, en az sayıda istasyon sayısı amaçlanır. This thesis focuses on disassembly system design in the areas of line balancing, throughput performance evaluation and unified assembly/disassembly line balancing problem. Firstly, disassembly line balancing problem (DLB) is analyzed and a beam search based approach for the problem is proposed. The results of proposed algorithm are compared with the optimal solutions of well-known real cases and generated test problems. Secondly, a new mathematical model is developed for DLB problem with resource-constrained case. The objective is to minimize the number of resources and workstations under a given cycle time. Thirdly, a new balancing problem for unified line design, called parallel assembly and disassembly line system, is defined and solution approaches are presented. The proposed design consists of two separate dedicated lines, one for assembly and another for disassembly, on which products and parts move reversely. Due to assembly and disassembly of the same product on lines, it is considered that some assembly and disassembly tasks are similar. Thus, an integer linear programming model and heuristic approach based on ant colony optimization for solving the balancing problem is improved. Minimum the number of workstations is aimed while assigning the similar assembly and disassembly tasks to the same or close workstation 149

Büyük boyutlu otobüs, kamyon, otomobil gibi ürünlerin montaj işlemleri hattın her iki tarafında yapılabilmektedir. Böyle durumlarda hattın her iki tarafı (hem sağ hem sol) kullanılarak montaj işlemi yapılır. Bu tip hatlar çift taraflı montaj hattı olarak isimlendirilir. Büyük hacimli ürünler üretilirken bazen özellikli bir makineye veya bu makineyi kullanabilecek kalifiye bir personele ihtiyaç duyulabilir. Bu durum kaynak kısıtı sorununu ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Bu yüzden literatürdeki modeller temel alınarak genelleştirilmiş kaynak kısıtlı çift taraflı montaj hattı dengeleme problemi için bir matematiksel model sunulmuş ve çok amaçlı durum için hesaplama analizleri yapılmıştır. Sunulan model 3 farklı amaç fonksiyonu (istasyon sayısı, pozisyon sayısı ve kaynak maliyetinin en küçüklenmesi) ile test problemleri üzerinde çalıştırılmış ve sonuçlar analiz edilmiştir.

Çift taraflı montaj hatları genellikle otobüs, traktör ve otomobil gibi büyük boyutlu ürünleri üretmek için tasarlanmıştır. Bu tip montaj hatları iki taraftan ( sol ve sağ) da kullanılırlar. Büyük boyutlu ürünler üretildiğinde, bunları üretmek için bazen özellikli bir makineye veya bu makineyi kullanabilecek kalifiye bir personele ihtiyaç duyulabilir. Bu durum da kaynak kısıtlı montaj hattı dengeleme problemini ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Bu yüzden, bu çalışmada kaynak kısıtlarını da dikkate alarak çift taraflı montaj hattı dengeleme problemi için bir matematiksel model sunulmuştur. Sunulan matematiksel model GAMS/CPLEX matematiksel paket programlama ile çözülmüştür. Matematiksel model küçük test problemleri için en iyi sonuç bulabilirken, büyük test problemleri için makul hesaplama süresinde en iyi çözümü verememektedir. Bu nedenle, büyük boyutlu test problemlerini çözmek için COMSOAL tabanlı bir sezgisel sunulmuştur. Önerilen matematiksel model ve sezgisel algoritma literatür de bilinen test problemleri üzerinde incelenmiştir. Two-sided assembly lines are usually designed to produce high volume product like buses, trucks and automobiles. These types of assembly lines are used by both sides (left and right) in parallel. When large-size products are produced, sometimes they need a specific machine or qualified staff for using this machine. This also raises resource constrained assembly line balancing problem. Therefore, in this study mathematical model is presented for two sided assembly line balancing problem by considering generalized resource constraint. The presented mathematical model is solved using GAMS/CPLEX mathematical programming package. The mathematical model can find optimal solution for small?size test problems, but it doesn?t give optimal solution within acceptable computation time for large scale test problems. For this reason, a heuristic approach based on COMSOAL is presented for solving large sized test problems. The validity of the proposed mathematical model and the heuristic algorithm are researched on known test problems. 102

Ülkelerin kalkınma ve gelişmesindeki en önemli faktörlerden biri olan enerji, yaşamın devamı için temel gereksinimlerden biridir. Ülkeler de bu devamlılığı sağlamak adına enerji kaynakları üzerinde söz sahibi olmak için, birbirleriyle siyasi ve ekonomik boyutta büyük bir mücadele içindedirler. Doğal gaz boru hattı projesi, doğal gazın çıkarıldığı ülkeden diğer ülkelere taşınmasını sağlayan sistemlerin yapımını hedefleyen geniş çapta büyük projelerdir. Bu tür büyük ve karmaşık projelerde temel amaç, işçi ve işveren sağlığını korumak, çalışanlara güvenli çalışma ortamı yaratmak, yapılan işten ve çalışma ortamından kaynaklı ortaya çıkan riskleri en aza indirmektir. Ortaya çıkan bu riskleri mümkünse bertaraf etmek için değilse riskleri en asgari seviyeye indirecek belirli iş sağlığı ve güvenliği standartlarına ve yapılacak işe uygun risk değerlendirmeleri yapılmalıdır. Bu çalışmada, geçmişten günümüze alışıla gelmiş geleneksel risk değerlendirme metotlarından farklı olarak yeni bir metot geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Başlangıçta iki boyutlu (2B) risk matris yöntemi uygulanmış ve risk değerlendirmesinin ilk adımında tanımlanan tehlikeleri öncelikli olarak sıralamak için Pisagor bulanık küme tabanlı TOPSIS yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Bulanık model doğal gaz boru hattı yapım projesinin temizleme ve tesviye faaliyeti için kullanılmıştır. In order to ensure this continuity, countries are also struggling to deal with each other in political and economic terms. The natural gas pipeline project is a large-scale project aiming at the construction of systems for the transportation of natural gas from the country of origin to other countries. The main purpose of such large and complex projects is to protect the health of workers and employers, to create a safe working environment for employees, to minimize the risks arising from the work and working environment. If it is not possible to eliminate these risks, risk assessments should be made in accordance with specific occupational health and safety standards and work to minimize the risks. In this study, it is aimed to develop a new method differs from the traditional risk assessment methods which have come from the past. Initially, a two-dimensional (2D) risk matrix method was applied and a Pythagorean fuzzy set TOPSIS method was applied to prioritize the hazards identified in the first step of the risk assessment.
