The main problem of modern computing systems is a low bandwidth of message switching channels. The reason for this is rapid growth of processor element’s bandwidth relatively to link’s bandwidth. Therefore, a lot of attention is now being given to the task of a significant increase in network bandwidth. In designing of high performance parallel systems this task is the most actual. This article will look at the InfiniBand technology as the solution to this problem and how to transfer information in it. Among the methods considered, the most attention is paid to the wormhole transmission method, because it allows you to quickly transmit information, but has significant disadvantages. To eliminate these disadvantages a switching method is proposed based on the topology de Bruyn and its improvement by using the excess code with the numbers 0, 1, −1. Using this method allows not only to eliminate the main disadvantages of the wormhole, but also significantly increase fault tolerance and have a simple routing algorithm.

In our previous work, we evaluated the performance of our proposed method for message suppression in Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs). In this paper, we propose a calculation method of message suppression time for inter-vehicle communications. The proposed method considers time-series data of newly discovered vehicles and neighbors parameters. From the simulation results, we observed that our proposed method increased the efficiency by taking smaller message suppression time than conventional method.

A low-latency and reliable message switching network is critical for constructing high-speed datacenter networks. In this paper, we present the design, implementation, and evaluation of a novel Location basEd Source Switching (LESS) for datacenter networks. LESS enables lightweight source switching through a location-based addressing scheme. Each switch and host can independently derive a source route to reach a destination without requiring the full knowledge of the network topology. We demonstrate that using location-based source routes as forwarding labels allows LESS to eliminate the need for routing tables and integrate with minimum required functionality for packet forwarding. Moreover, we propose a fast rerouting solution to address the issue of fault tolerance in source routing. Each switch can locally derive an alternative source route during a failure. The paper evaluates the performance of LESS. Our evaluation results suggest that LESS improves the performance of datacenter networks in terms of latency, throughput, and reliability.
