Objective This retrospective study determined the storage time of finished infusion in each hospital ward and assessed whether the storage time of finished infusion was within an acceptable range. Methods The research object was the finished infusion (one bag of infusion with only one drug) that is centrally dosed at the Pharmacy Intravenous Admixture Service (PIVAS) of Jiading District Central Hospital Affiliated Shanghai University of Medicine & Health Sciences. We used an automatic scanner to assess the placement time of finished infusion products in various wards of the hospital. We classified the drugs used in various wards, analyzed whether their placement times were reasonable, assessed the reasons for unreasonable placement times, and took intervention measures. Similarly, the storage time of finished infusion was deemed reasonable or unreasonable, the reasons for unreasonable storage times were analyzed, and intervention measures were taken. Results In September 2021, the proportion of infusions stored for an unreasonable time was 12.69%, a decrease of 5.37% compared with August 2021, indicating the effectiveness of intervention measures. Conclusion By using statistical analysis and intervention measures, our PIVAS improved the standardized use of finished infusion products and ensured the safety of medication for patients.

Abstract During storage, duloxetine hydrochloride may have an unexpected cross reaction with enteric coated acrylic resin, which may affect the product quality. Solve the problem of cross-reaction between the Duloxetine enteric-coated tablets core and coated enteric materials and improve the quality of the products. Duloxetine enteric-coated tablets’ core formulation and isolation layer prescription were designed and compared with duloxetine enteric-coated tablets sold on the market. Then, we measured the dissolution rate, content, and releasing rate of prepared duloxetine enteric-coated tablets. In the formulation of tablets core, prescription 3 had advantages in particle mobility, disintegration time, and dissolution rate. Prescription 5 was stable during the coating process, and the dissolution residue in the cup was relatively good, showing obvious dissolution advantages. Thus, prescription 5 was selected as the isolation layer prescription. The most suitable adhesive for the preparation of Duloxetine hydrochloride enteric-coated tablets was povione K30 dissolved in ethanol solution with 1/2 of the prescription amount. When 1.3 g colloidal silica was added to the prescription and the dosage of magnesium stearate was 1.48 g, the dissolution rate of the drug could be relatively improved. The ratio of sucrose and talc was 138/8.7, which could effectively configure the coating solution with a solid content of 15–20% to make the coating smooth.

Asphalt pavement has been repeatedly subjected to vehicle loads during service. The probability and risk of water damage and asphalt deterioration of asphalt pavements is relatively higher in high temperature and rainy areas such as the Guangxi region of China. In this paper, the changes in rubbermodified asphalt and its mixtures under high temperature, water cycling, and ultraviolet light have been investigated. The coupled water-light-heat effects on asphalt pavements were simulated by developing a freeze-thaw cycle test protocol and a UV environment simulator. The high temperature performance of asphalt and asphalt mixtures before and after aging was compared and statistically analyzed by indoor tests of needle penetration, ductility, softening point, rutting factor and dynamic stability. Under water-light-heat coupling, rubberized asphalt showed a deeper degree of aging, accelerated conversion of asphalt to a highly elastic material, and an increased tendency to reduce flow capacity. The results showed decreasing dynamic stability of rubberized asphalt mixtures with decreasing needle penetration and ductility, increasing softening point, increasing rutting factor and decreasing phase angle. The effect of UV light on asphalt needle penetration was more significant, while the number of freeze-thaw cycles had a more pronounced effect on softening point.

Introduction: This study aimed to evaluate the prognosis of patients with COVID-19 and hypertension who were treated with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI)/angiotensin receptor B (ARB) drugs and to identify key features affecting patient prognosis using an unsupervised learning method. Methods: A large-scale clinical dataset, including patient information, medical history, and laboratory test results, was collected. Two hundred patients with COVID-19 and hypertension were included. After cluster analysis, patients were divided into good and poor prognosis groups. The unsupervised learning method was used to evaluate clinical characteristics and prognosis, and patients were divided into different prognosis groups. The improved wild dog optimization algorithm (IDOA) was used for feature selection and cluster analysis, followed by the IDOA-k-means algorithm. The impact of ACEI/ARB drugs on patient prognosis and key characteristics affecting patient prognosis were also analysed. Results: Key features related to prognosis included baseline information and laboratory test results, while clinical symptoms and imaging results had low predictive power. The top six important features were age, hypertension grade, MuLBSTA, ACEI/ARB, NT-proBNP, and high-sensitivity troponin I. These features were consistent with the results of the unsupervised prediction model. A visualization system was developed based on these key features. Conclusion: Using unsupervised learning and the improved k-means algorithm, this study accurately analysed the prognosis of patients with COVID-19 and hypertension. The use of ACEI/ARB drugs was found to be a protective factor for poor clinical prognosis. Unsupervised learning methods can be used to differentiate patient populations and assess treatment effects. This study identified important features affecting patient prognosis and developed a visualization system with clinical significance for prognosis assessment and treatment decision-making. Layered construction of large thickness cement-stabilized macadam base makes the base change from designed being forced by whole layer to being forced by two thin layers, the existence of interfacial friction between two thin layers reduces the pavement performance of the base, which finally cause the reduction of pavement performance of whole pavement structure. To analyze the load responses of large thickness cement-stabilized macadam base asphalt pavement under different working conditions, pavement surface deflection, maximum principal stresses of surface layer bottom and base layer bottom, minimum principal strain of soil base top and maximum shear stress of surface layer bottom under two different working conditions(layered construction and one-step forming) are taken as indexes and are obtained by finite element analysis method in this paper.

Lanthanide-doped nanocrystals have been actively pursued as anti-Stokes emitters in various contexts, including bioimaging, photovoltaics, catalysis, displays, anticounterfeiting, sensing and lasers. The success of these applications crucially relies on their high brightness under low excitation. To enhance their upconversion luminescence, researchers have improved the internal material properties of nanocrystals (their composition, doping, and crystal and surface structures) and, in parallel, engineered external optical responses using plasmonic couplings. However, despite impressive progress, upconversion brightness still falls short of what is required for applications, and a systematic understanding of plasmon-enhanced upconversion remains elusive. Here we report an important conceptual advance in understanding and demonstrate unprecedentedly bright upconversion of single nanocrystals via coupling to a single plasmonic nanocavity mode. We present in situ-controlled single-nanocrystal-level studies with unified internal and external treatment, and unambiguously experimentally demonstrate the phenomenon of plasmonic enhancement saturation. We show that the saturation is doping-dependent, and we report a 2.3 × 105-fold enhancement of upconversion luminescence. More importantly, we outline a new strategy to devise ultrabright upconversion nanomaterials and demonstrate that single sub-30-nm nanocrystals can provide up to 560 detected photons per second at an ultralow excitation intensity of 0.45 W cm−2. These findings help to establish the link between the optical physics and material science in lanthanide-doped nanocrystals and facilitate the engineering of optimal upconversion nanomaterials for various applications. Bright upconversion of single nanocrystals is enabled by coupling to a single plasmonic nanocavity mode. An upconversion luminescence enhancement of ~105 was achieved.
