Objective: This study aimed to explore andrographolide’s mechanism of action and its protective effect on noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL). Materials and Methods: A mice animal model for NIHL was established through exposure to broadband noise at 120 dB sound pressure level for 4 h. Transcriptomics analysis and pharmacodynamic experiments were carried out. Results: Andrographolide enters the inner ear and effectively prevents hearing damage following noise exposure in the mice model for permanent hearing loss. Moreover, treatment with andrographolide inhibited the excessive activation of inflammatory factors in the cochleae of noise-exposed mice. Conclusion: Andrographolide might be a promising candidate for auditory protective drug investigation.

Objective To summarize the clinical features of unilateral Wallenberg syndrome. Methods and Results The clinical data of 28 patients with unilateral Wallenberg syndrome admitted to Shengli Oilfield Central Hospital and Weifang People′s Hospital from March 2005 to November 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. Clinical manifestations were pain and temperature disturbance in 26 cases (92.86%), ataxia in 24 cases (85.71%), numbness in 21 cases (75%), dizziness in 20 cases (71.43%); MRI showed dorsolateral medulla oblongata infarction lesion in all patients, 9 cases (32.14%) with lesions located in the rostral medulla oblongata, 7 cases (25%) in the central region and 12 cases (42.86%) in the caudal region; CTA showed there were responsible arteries in 27 cases (96.43%), including vertebral artery stenosis (15 cases, 53.57%), posterior inferior cerebellar artery occlusion (10 cases, 35.71%), bilateral vertebral artery occlusion and unilateral vertebral artery dissection (one case each, 3.57%). Eleven cases (39.29%) were treated with intravenous thrombolysis, including 3 cases with bridging vertebral artery stent implantation and 17 cases (60.71%) with conservative treatment. 19 cases (67.86%) had a good prognosis, while 9 cases (32.14%) had a poor prognosis. There are 5 cases (17.86%) complicated with respiratory failure, one case with good prognosis after symptomatic treatment, one case of ventilator assisted ventilation, one case was severely disabled, and 2 cases were dead. Conclusions Unilateral Wallenberg syndrome has multiple clinical manifestations, imaging examination has great significance for clear diagnosis, some patients may develop respiratory failure and their respiratory function should be closely monitored.

Bone defect disease seriously endangers human health and affects beauty and function. In the past five years, the three dimension (3D) printed radially graded triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) porous scaffold has become a new solution for repairing bone defects. This review discusses 3D printing technologies and applications for TPMS scaffolds. To this end, the microstructural effects of 3D printed TPMS scaffolds on bone regeneration were reviewed and the structural characteristics of TPMS, which can promote bone regeneration, were introduced. Finally, the challenges and prospects of using TPMS scaffolds to treat bone defects were presented. This review is expected to stimulate the interest of bone tissue engineers in radially graded TPMS scaffolds and provide a reliable solution for the clinical treatment of personalised bone defects. Low‐temperature polycrystalline silicon (LTPS) thin‐film transistor devices can be used as core components of pixel driving circuits for active matrix organic light‐emitting displays （AMOLED）. Poly silicon (P‐Si) film and device performance directly affects the display effect. This paper investigates polysilicon grain boundary reduction for LTPS devices on PI substrates, exploring the effects of grain boundary reduction on LTPS devices and image sticking. Reduction of polysilicon grain boundaries through optimization of a‐Si deposition process, a‐Si two‐step deposition and excimer laser annealing (ELA) doublescan process, ELA double‐scan process reduces grain boundaries by 67 %. We prepared LTPS devices with thinner gate interlayers (GI) based on P‐Si grain boundary reduction, LTPS devices with positive threshold voltage bias and increased mobility, AMOLED displays with thinner GI can have 23% better image sticking. IgG4⁃related sialadenitis (IgG4⁃RS) is a type of autoimmune disease that has been recognized in recent years, and the pathogenesis remains unclear. IgG4⁃RS mainly affects the submandibular gland and parotid gland and is characterized by diffuse painless swelling of the bilateral salivary glands and/or lacrimal glands, usually lasting more than 3 months. Some patients have accompanying hearing loss or hearing impairment, sinusitis, lymphadenopathy and other symptoms; nearly half of patients have different degrees of salivary gland secretion disorders. Most patients have elevated serum IgG4 levels, but they cannot be used as the only marker for diagnosis. Histopathology remains the“gold standard”for diagnosis. Presently, submandibular gland biopsy is often used for diagnosis. Histopathology showed lym⁃ phoplasmacytic infiltration, occlusive phlebitis, striated fibrosis; immunohistochemistry showed IgG4 + /IgG + plasma cells > 40%, and IgG4 + plasma cell/high⁃power field vision > 10. Glucocorticoids are regarded as first⁃line drugs for the treat⁃ ment of this disease. Clinically, glucocorticoids are often combined with immunosuppressive agents such as cyclophos⁃ phamide, but no standard drug regimen exists. Most patients have a significant short⁃term treatment effect, and the long⁃ term prognosis requires further study. Patients with a recurrence tendency should adjust the hormone dose over time. In the future, further research is needed regarding the pathogenesis and treatment of the disease to improve the clinical di⁃ agnosis rate and therapeutic effect.

In this work, by using Marcinkiewicz-Zygmund type moment inequality of asymptotically negatively associated (ANA, in short) sequences, the strong law of large numbers of linear processes with random coefficients generated by ANA sequences is studied. High-dielectric polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) composites are widely used in electronic communications, new energy storage, aerospace and other fields due to their advantages of light weight, good flexibility, and easy processing. At present, PVDF matrix composites are mainly divided into two categories: inorganic/organic composite system and full organic composite system, but the application of full organic system is limited by its complex chemical process. This paper reviews the application status and research progress of three inorganic fillers in PVDF-based dielectric materials, namely ceramic particles, metal particles and carbon particles, and focuses on the research progress of expanded graphite, graphene oxide, carbon nanotubes, carbon black and carbon fiber in carbon fillers, and looks forward to the modification direction of inorganic fillers in PVDF composites. In this paper, we investigate the complete convergence and complete moment convergence of asymptotically almost negatively associated random variables with random coefficients. The obtained results extend and improve the ones of Li, Rao, and Wang (1992), Characiejus and Račkauskas (2016) and Zhang, Chen, and Sung (2017) to the case of AANA random variables with random coefficients.
