Las condiciones de trabajo del sector informal perjudican a las personas en materia de seguridad y salud en el trabajo, en el presente trabajo que fue un caso de estudio de una población vulnerable (bicitaxistas ) con un método descriptivo con respecto a la complejidad del problema donde se analizó varias perspectivas de observación y descripción de diferentes variables que pueden surgir de las condiciones de trabajo desfavorables de los bicitaxistas de suba, donde se realizó un proceso metodológico para diagnosticar las condiciones de trabajo informal de los bicitaxistas de ASOPROBISUBA, con la aplicación de herramientas que sirvieron para analizar la percepción del trabajador y la de nosotros como administradores de la seguridad y salud ocupacional, al relacionar estas dos visiones se determinó que los factores de riesgo estaban vinculados a posturas prolongadas forzadas, accidentes de tránsito y estrés térmico. Los factores de riesgo mencionados anteriormente fueron valorados por herramientas técnicas como: aplicación del formato de riesgo individual ERIN, manual de evaluación de riesgos para trastornos musculo esqueléticos, norma NTP 322 Valoración del riesgo por estrés térmico, manual del conductor para el curso de seguridad vial. Las herramientas ejecutadas dieron a conocer que los riesgos se encontraban en niveles altos a excepción de estrés térmico era fundamental priorizarlos los altos mediante la NTC 31000 para determinar la gestión adecuada generando estrategias de intervención que abarcan diseño de medidas adecuadas al bicitaxi para mitigar las posturas prolongadas forzadas, recomendaciones de dimensiones y espacios para movilizarse de manera adecuada por las diferentes rutas empleadas de ASOPROBISUBA, estrategias de manejo preventivo para los bicitaxis.
