A 20-year retrospective review of 305 consecutive ovarian teratomas diagnosed in the surgical pathology department of the Kings County Hospital is presented. All but 10 cases represented the benign cystic variety of this tumor. One case of benign solid ovarian teratoma and 9 cases of malignant ovarian teratomas were also encountered. The laterality, age incidence, size, and gross and microscopic description of these tumors are discussed in considerable detail, as is the distribution of structures found within the benign cystic variety. Brief mention also is made regarding the incidence of struma ovarii, pregnancy, torsion, intraperitoneal rupture, and coincidental lesions found in association with ovarian teratomas.

A case of malignant thecoma has been presented. Five previously reported cases have been reviewed and only three of these have criteria acceptable for malignant tumors. The incidence of malignancy in theca-cell tumors is approximately 3 per cent.

The literature on papillomas of the cervix has been reviewed. Eight additional cases have been presented, including one case which showed malignant transformation. The definition of papilloma, its relationship to pregnancy, its malignant potentiality, and the present status of condyloma acuminatum have been discussed.

A review of the literature revealed over 300 cases of granular-cell myoblastomas of which only 7 were found on the female genitals. Another case has been added to this small series of genital granular-cell myoblastomas. The various theories on the histogenesis of this entity have been reviewed.
