Digital learning scenarios have become a fundamental tool in university education, and they are becoming increasingly important due to their special academic characteristics in postgraduate studies. The purpose of this study is to find out how technology has been used as a training resource in the learning processes of students at postgraduate level. To this end, questionnaires have been carried out in four universities in Colombia, Costa Rica, Spain and Mexico using a sample of 180 postgraduate students in Education. The results show that postgraduate students have a high level of training in the use of digital tools compared to other educational levels; postgraduate studies have a high level of integration of ICT tools in their training programmes; and there are no significant differences between the participating countries with regard to difficulties in the use and integration of digital platforms, despite the programmatic or social differences between them. Los escenarios digitales de aprendizaje se han convertido en una herramienta fundamental en la formación universitaria, y en los estudios posgrados son cada día una pieza más importante por sus especiales características académicas. El presente trabajo tiene como propósito conocer el uso que se le ha dado a la tecnología como recurso formativo, en los procesos de aprendizaje del estudiantado a nivel de posgrado. Para ello se han realizado cuestionarios en 4 universidades de Colombia, Costa Rica, España y México mediante una muestra de 180 alumnos de posgrados en Educación. Los resultados muestran que los alumnos de posgrado poseen un alto nivel formativo en el uso de herramientas digitales respecto a otros niveles educativos; los estudios de posgrado tienen un gran nivel de integración de herramientas TIC en sus programas formativos; y no existen diferencias significativas entre los países participantes respecto a las dificultades en el uso e integración de las plataformas digitales, a pesar de las diferencias programáticas o sociales existen entre ellos.

With the expansion of COVID-19, the Universidad Internacional del Ecuador UIDE, with other colleges around the world, faced forward to the virtual model education, trying with this to secure access to higher education from their students. The follow work analyses what were the university community teachers perceptions around this new model of education, starting with the first impressions and their development. Based on mixed methods of investigation, set about a first exploration in a quantitative vision and enriched with qualitative methods based on speech analysis, this for trying to understand the complexity of the subjects’ participations in these spaces. The conclusions of this work are the dragged use of the platforms impact in a positive way in the perceptions of them, also, the needed of complementary this with other tolls and social networks, and, for least, the need to incorporate in the students and teachers’ formation these specific capacities. Con la expansión del COVID-19, la Universidad Internacional del Ecuador, junto a todas las instituciones de educación superior alrededor del mundo, se enfrentaron hacia el modelo de educación virtual para garantizar a sus estudiantes el acceso a la educación. El siguiente trabajo analiza cuáles han sido las percepciones de los docentes universitarios ante este nuevo modelo de educación tanto en el primer momento de su implementación como en el avance en el tiempo de esta. Basado en un método de investigación mixto, parte de una primera exploración cuantitativa y se enriquece de métodos cualitativos basados en el análisis de discursos para entender las complejidades detrás de los sujetos que desarrollan sus actividades en el Moodle de la universidad. Las conclusiones a las que ha llevado este trabajo son como el uso prolongado de estas plataformas impacta de forma positiva en las percepciones sobre estas, en la necesidad de complementar con otras herramientas virtuales y redes sociales, y, por último, en la necesidad de integrar a la formación de docentes el desarrollo de estas capacidades específicas.

Transferring a pedagogical proposal from a face-to-face environment to a virtual one is not an automatic conversion. It requires a thorough instructional design and the appropriate methodology. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the variables that influence the selection of an active methodology mediated by information and communication technologies for the design of a didactic sequence developed in a digital environment. We have worked with a sample of teachers who have participated in a training experience in which they have built a didactic proposal for a digital environment, selecting an active methodology from a reflective dynamic based on objective criteria. The study shows that there is a positive association between the year the course was taken, the sex of the participants and the stage where the participants work, and the chosen methodology. Finally, the area of knowledge taught is not a determining factor. It is concluded that regardless of the methodological selection, teachers tend to value the didactic component training over the instrumental one, although it is decisive that the training deals with technology, but from a techno pedagogical perspective

El presente artículo describe la creación, validación y fiabilidad del instrumento ad-hoc que permite conocer la autopercepción de competencia digital de los futuros docentes (CDFD). Se elaboró teniendo en cuenta los estándares DIGCOMP de Ferrari (2013), UNESCO (2008) y ENLACES (2008) y la validez de contenido fue validado mediante juicio de expertos, las cuales permitieron verificar los ítems obtenidos, así también modificar o eliminar dichos ítems. El resultado es un instrumento de 40 ítems, distribuidos en áreas de conocimiento como: la pedagogía, el área de conocimientos técnicos, el conocimiento de los aspectos sociales, éticos y legales y el uso de las TIC para la formación profesional docente. La fiabilidad obtenida en el instrumento mediante la prueba de Alpha de Cronbach fue de 0.978. En tanto la validez de contenido emitida por parte de los expertos fue de 0.959.

For years the technological revolution has been transforming all facets of our society. Teaching could obviously not be an exception but is quite the opposite because of its role in training the individuals of that society. Teachers at all levels of education are subjected to an adaptation process to develop the digital skills necessary for this transformation. This process must be permanent as there are still major deficiencies in teachers’ ICT knowledge and rejection of their application. This study aims to see whether the inadequacy of digital teaching skills also occurs in the Dual Vocational Training modality. To this end, a descriptive quantitative method has been carried out in a sample of teachers from the Professional Formation Dual system in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia. The results show an insufficient level of digital skills that is therefore improvable, finding some factors that influence, to some extent, the various components of digital competence such as prior teacher training, the locality in which their school resides or the category of teaching to which he belongs. Therefore, it is advised to continue to promote in-service training in digital competence for in-service teachers in order to achieve sustainable educational development.

espanolLa investigacion tuvo como objetivo analizar los factores que intervienen en la educacion a distancia en tiempo de pandemia en Paraguay. La metodologia empleada es cuantitativa y emplea un estudio de corte instrumental con diseno transversal-descriptivo. Para la recoleccion de informacion se aplico un cuestionario ad hoc, distribuido por medio de Google Form, en el que participaron 1947 personas, todos del ambito educativo de Paraguay desde Educacion Inicial hasta Educacion Superior. Como resultados de la investigacion se obtuvieron que para llevar a cabo la ensenanza a distancia el mayor recurso con el que disponen los docentes son los telefonos moviles con acceso a Internet y casi el 50% tienen una frecuencia de uso diaria. Sobre la formacion en TIC se evidencian que quienes han recibido mayor formacion son los de Educacion Superior, la formacion recibida en Educacion Media y Educacion Escolar Basica es insuficiente y quienes menos han recibido formacion son los de Educacion Infantil. Asimismo, se comprueba que la formacion en TIC permite desarrollar las competencias digitales de los docentes. Para la atencion de los estudiantes durante este periodo de la pandemia los medios mas utilizados son la plataforma educativa del MEC y la Mensajeria Instantanea (WhatsApp). EnglishThe objective of the research was to analyze the factors that intervene in distance education during a pandemic in Paraguay. The methodology used is quantitative and employs an instrumental study with a cross-descriptive design. For the collection of information, an ad hoc questionnaire was applied, distributed through the google form, in which 1947 people participated, all from the educational field of Paraguay from Initial Education to Higher Education. And as a result of the research, the greatest resource available to teachers is mobile phones with Internet access and almost 50% have a frequency of daily use to carry out distance learning. Regarding the ICT training of teachers, it is evident that they have received more training are those of higher education, the training received in middle and basic education is insufficient and those who have received less training are those of early childhood education. Likewise, it is verified that ICT training allows teachers to develop their digital skills. For the attention of students during this period of the pandemic, the most used means are the MEC educational platform and Instant Messaging (WhatsApp).

Twitter ofrece oportunidades de aprendizaje mediante la interacción entre agentes educativos y permite compartir diferentes recursos y materiales. Por ello, el objetivo de este trabajo es analizar bibliométricamente la producción científica sobre el uso de Twitter en los procesos de aprendizaje en el contexto universitario. La muestra final, extraída de la base de datos Scopus, la componen 248 artículos publicados entre 2012 y 2021, examinada con varias técnicas bibliométricas (acoplamiento bibliográfico, co-citación y co-ocurrencia). Los resultados confirman un crecimiento progresivo de la producción científica, indexada principalmente en ciencias sociales, siendo Estados Unidos el país más prolífico y la UNED la institución con mayor producción científica. Los artículos más citados se centran en analizar el potencial de Twitter en la educación superior y el uso que hacen los académicos y las instituciones universitarias de esta red social. Entre las futuras líneas de desarrollo, destaca los diferentes tipos de aprendizaje que pueden desarrollarse utilizando Twitter como recurso, así como su influencia en factores como el rendimiento académico y la motivación. Como conclusión, destacar la relevancia del estudio de la producción científica para generar nuevas propuestas didácticas e investigaciones que fundamenten científicamente los beneficios de incorporar Twitter a los procesos formativos

In the didactics of mathematics, many technological resources can be used with teaching strategies, techniques, models, and methodologies that facilitate the teaching–learning process. Pedagogical models such as Flipped Learning and active methodologies such as Project-Based Learning and Gamification have a relevant role in education. Objectives. (1) To identify the variables of teaching practices, ratios, and mathematics teacher training indicators that could influence the choice of different study models or methodologies. Method. A total of 73 teachers from the Autonomous City of Melilla were included in a cross-sectional study. Teachers filled out a validated questionnaire with 35 questions regarding mathematics and teacher training, information and communication technology (ICT) uses, resources and mastery, communication, and collaboration. Results. The statistical analyses revealed significant positive influences between the Flipped Learning model, Project-Based Learning, and Gamification with the evaluated items. Furthermore, Project-Based Learning showed a negative association with two items of the teaching practice indicator. Conclusion. The exchange of information and content through online spaces, participation, and collaboration in center projects related to digital technologies and educational software to teach mathematics had a significant impact on the choice of Flipped Learning model and active methodologies.

Digital competence in education includes, amongst other things, the ability to create and manage content and information, mastery of communication tools, and solving technological problems. The access to information and communication technologies (ICT) for educational purposes could have affected the academic performance of mathematics students prior to COVID-19. The objectives were to (1) analyze family and economic factors that could influence the use of ICT for educational purposes, and (2) determine what attributes of Melilla’s mathematics students could explain an additional variation in the use of ICT for academic purposes before COVID-19. A total of 2018 students at secondary schools in Melilla were included in this cross-sectional study. A validated questionnaire with 14 questions regarding ICT and its uses and resources in mathematics learning was administered to students. Statistical analysis revealed that 63.81% of students used ICT to study mathematics and 36.19% did not. Of this percentage, 30.22% failed mathematics and 68.43% reported that ICT does not help them improve their grades. The use of ICT to study mathematics was influenced by students’ perceptions of its usefulness for their academic performance and learning. We also found an association with educational level and time spent on the Internet.

Literature on university quality systems and teaching performance measurement addresses only tangentially the neutrality of measurement instruments in relation to the different teaching methodologies. This chapter explores this issue posing the following question: Should we use identical assessment instruments on teachers who apply different teaching methodologies? The authors attempt to answer this question by focusing the debate on the two most widespread methodological approaches in the university: the behaviourist and the constructivist. The study addresses this task from the perspective of measurement instruments with behavioural episodes. The authors present two instruments to assess teaching performance: one aimed at evaluating teachers who use behaviourist approaches and the other aimed at assessing teachers who apply constructivist approaches. The work reveals divergences between the two questionnaires addressing the importance of using different teaching appraisal instruments to measure, responsibly, the performance of teachers who apply different teaching methodologies.

Digital self-efficacy and the amount of perceived support from the school can improve teachers&rsquo, motivation to increase the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in the classroom. Likewise, attitude, perception, gender, and experience of mathematics teachers are factors that influence their use of ICT. This study aimed to analyze the profiles of mathematics teachers, determine the existence of differences between them, and identify the sample size necessary to detect significant differences. A total of 73 high school teachers were included in this cross-sectional study. Teaching practice, ICT resources, ICT in the classroom, skills, and uses of ICT were assessed through a validated 19-item questionnaire. Statistical analysis revealed that the required sample to detect significant differences was 53 subjects. Further, 67.21% of the mathematics teachers surveyed in Melilla were younger than 40 years of age, and 62.30% had less than 6 years of teaching experience. In addition, 81.97 and 47.54% of mathematics teachers stated that they consider themselves to have sufficient ICT resources at home for their work and in the classroom, respectively. Through different clusters, mathematics teachers can be identified and classified according to their motivational and competence profiles in pedagogical and digital areas. In addition, young teachers with some teaching experience had positive perceptions of technology, as reflected by high scores in the motivation indicator for ICT.

Currently, information and communication technology (ICT) has acquired an important role in education. The incorporation of ICT by mathematics teachers has been a challenge as it requires an improvement in their knowledge of the use of new technologies. We aimed to examine the most relevant items of the indicators related to teaching mathematics and ICT, to estimate the relationships between teachers individually and by clusters, and to analyze the incidence of age variables, teaching experience, and gender in this study. A total of 73 high school teachers were included in this cross-sectional study. A validated questionnaire was used to assess mathematics and teaching practice, use, resources, and domain of ICT. Principal component analysis (PCA) was applied to determine the associations among variables of the present study. The application of ICT to teaching was associated with the use of ICT resources in the classroom and indicated that teachers made more choice in selecting a variety of software than electing different hardware devices. Teachers combined technology with educational platforms to improve student learning in mathematics. The general perception of mathematics teachers about their digital competence does not match with models employed in the classroom. Gender was not an influencing factor.

This article addresses the design and validation of an updated questionnaire that makes it possible to understand the use patterns and attitudes of university youth on social networks. The authors utilized a panel of 20 judges who were social media experts and a sample of 640 university students. The exploratory factor analysis (EFA) explained 66.523% of the total variance. The confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), carried out to verify the dimensional structure of the instrument, reflected the appropriate parameters. The reliability study showed a Cronbach&rsquo, s alpha of 0.864. These data corroborated the development of a robust and reliable questionnaire. The resulting instrument did not contain items alluding to specific social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or LinkedIn), but rather students&rsquo, usage patterns of them. The exclusion of items that referred to particular social networks during the research demonstrated a convergence in behavior on social media regardless of the nuances of each platform. This fact suggested that the platform was of secondary importance in the context of a new paradigm in which the type of use (viewing, posting, participating, or interacting) took precedence over the name of the network itself.

In recent decades, technological advances have been revolutionizing all areas of society, including the teaching resources and methodologies used in the world of education. Teachers are in the process of adapting to develop the digital skills they need for the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), a process that must be permanent and in which there are still knowledge gaps undermining its application. This study aims to determine whether this lack of digital skills is influenced by the gender of teachers, for example, whether there is a gender gap in ICT application in teaching, specifically Dual Vocational Education and Training, which is a teaching area that has been growing exponentially in recent years. A descriptive quantitative method has been used for this study with a sample of 1568 teachers of Dual Vocational Education and Training from the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, with data collected through a questionnaire. The results show that while the level of knowledge of ICT resources is medium among this group and is therefore improvable, there are no significant gender differences between teachers with respect to the application of e-skills by teaching professionals, despite the existence in other contexts of a large digital gender gap in new technology professionals.

Although the value of information and communication technology (ICT) is positive and its use is widespread, its potential as a teaching tool in mathematics is not optimized and its methodological integration is rare. In addition, the availability of ICT resources in schools is positively associated with the academic success of students, and the availability of ICT resources at home is negatively associated with their success. To determine the relationships among academic performance, uses, and available ICT resources, a total of 2018 secondary school students participated in the present study. The uses and available ICT resources, and the learning of mathematics and ICT, were evaluated using a validated 11-item questionnaire. Statistical analysis reveals that, of the secondary education levels, the lowest results are observed in the third year. A total of 64% of students affirm that they use ICT at home to study mathematics. In addition, 33.61% of the students affirm that they use their mobile phones frequently while studying at home. However, it should be noted that between 23.80% and 28.44% affirm that they dedicate more than 4 h per day to phone calls. Educational level is a predictor of academic performance in mathematics associated with students&rsquo, uses of ICT. The scores indicate that the computer is generally used for Internet searches, thus, limiting the use of ICT for educational purposes. Furthermore, there is a difference regarding gender.

Big Data has revolutionized decision making in many fields, including education. The incorporation of information and communication technologies into education enables us to gather information about the teaching and learning process. As Big Data can help us improve it, it is paramount to integrate it into initial and continuous learning stages. This study therefore aims at finding out the perception of the training advisors of teacher training centers (N = 117) in Andalusia on the application of Big Data in education. The tool is an adaptation of the VABIDAE (Assessment of Big Data Applied to Education) scale, and the study of the descriptive statistics was carried out by using the analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Mann&ndash, Whitney U tests in order to check the existence of significant differences and correlations between the items that make up the scale. The results reflect the positive perception of training advisors on the use of Big Data in education. Significant differences were found in the competence level variable, whereby this tool was better rated by those advisors who feel that they have an advanced competence level. In conclusion, Big Data is valued for its ability to personalize educational processes and the consequent improvement in academic results, which shows the need to increase the level of knowledge about this tool.

In our current society, Digital Competence is an essential and basic competence for teachers. The students need trained teachers who know how to use Information and communication technologies (ICTs) and develop them into pedagogy. However, some of them do not know how. This phenomena is called “The generational digital divide”, which occurs when teachers do not have sufficient digital or technological skills or do not adapt to them. This article aims to determine whether the age of teachers has an influence on their knowledge about Information and Communication Technologies. The objective is to detect if there really exists a digital gap between generations, specifically in Dual Vocational Education Training, a kind of education which has been growing in the recent years. To do so, a study with a quantitative and descriptive method has been carried out, with the participation of 1.568 teachers of this training modality in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia. The data were extracted by means of a questionnaire to measure the level of digital teaching competence in Dual Vocational Education and Training schools. The results showed that the level of digital competence shown was medium to low across all dimensions. Social networks are a key element in young people's and teenagers' leisure time. But their influence goes beyond the field of entertainment further reaching educational and training environments. These tools can support and improve student learning, but it is clear that they can also be an inconvenience or a potential danger for the youth. The purpose of this research is to describe the profiles of teachers who use social networks as resources for their teaching, both inside and outside the classroom. It also seeks to know the characteristics that influence their incorporation as learning elements. For this reason, a secondary exploitation of the PISA 2018 database is carried out. It contains the data of 21, 621 teachers of the secondary education level from the 19 regions of Spain. Multilevel analysis is used as a method of data analysis. The results point out differences in use according to the Autonomous Communities, showing the importance of the age of the teacher and the number of years of experience, both for their use in the classroom and to cover their training needs. Quality teaching requires a commitment to technological resources; therefore, decisive to know these elements in order to design teachers and educational institutions., As redes sociais são um elemento-chave nos tempos livres dos jovens e dos adolescentes. Mas a sua influência vai para além do campo do entretenimento, atingindo o ambiente educativo e de formação. Essas ferramentas podem apoiar e melhorar a aprendizagem dos estudantes, mas é evidente que também podem ser um incômodo ou um perigo potencial para os jovens. O objetivo desta investigação é descrever os perfis dos professores que utilizam as redes sociais como recursos para o seu ensino, tanto dentro como fora da sala de aula. Procura também conhecer as características que influenciam a sua incorporação como elementos de aprendizagem. Por esta razão, é realizada uma exploração secundária da base de dados PISA 2018. Ela contém os dados de 21.621 professores do ensino secundário das 19 regiões de Espanha. A análise multinível é utilizada como um método de análise de dados. Os resultados apontam para diferenças de utilização de acordo com as Comunidades Autônomas, mostrando a importância da idade do professor e o número de anos de experiência, tanto para a sua utilização na sala de aula como para cobrir as suas necessidades de formação. El artículo es de revisión documental, muestra los modelos de medición de la felicidad desde la perspectiva global y desde los postulados teóricos de investigaciones recientes que abordan la variable de estudio “Felicidad relacionada con el bienestar laboral”. Responde la pregunta problema ¿Cuáles son las variables asociadas al concepto de felicidad?. Su enfoque es hermenéutico, la metodología es de tipo cualitativodocumental, en este, se muestra de manera sistemática como identifican las variables dominantes en el tema de la felicidad a partir de su estado del arte y las asociaciones entre categorías madres y subcategorías que se desarrollan como constructos de la variable de estudio. Los resultados arrojan una prevalencia de estudios cualitativos, donde todos los modelos están asociados a 51 variables. Posterior se realizó una depuración pasar a 25 categorías, justificando la creación de un modelo de indexación de felicidad y el bienestar laboral en organizaciones. El estudio permitió mostrar la relevancia de la variable de estudio descrita. Se consolida la necesidad de sensibilizar y formar sobre la importancia del bienestar laboral y su búsqueda, loable de la felicidad. The article is a documentary review, shows the models for measuring happiness from a global perspective and from the theoretical postulates of recent research that address the study variable “Happiness related to work well-being”. Answer the problem question What are the variables associated with the concept of happiness? Its approach is hermeneutical, the methodology is of a qualitative-documentary type, in this, it is shown in a systematic way how the dominant variables in the subject of happiness are identified from their state of the art and the associations between mother categories and subcategories that are develop as constructs of the study variable. The results show a prevalence of qualitative studies, where all the models are associated with 51 variables. Subsequently, a purification was carried out to move to 25 categories, justifying the creation of an indexation model of happiness and labor well-being in organizations. The study allowed showing the relevance of the study variable described. The need to raise awareness and train about the importance of work well-being and its praiseworthy pursuit of happiness is consolidated.

Several socioeconomic, environmental, ethnic, family, and educational factors influence an individual&rsquo, s academic performance and can determine their school performance in mathematics. Mathematical competence is one of the skills that allow students to build visions of the future from performance in the present. However, the perception that students have of mathematics, in addition to the teacher&ndash, student relationship, the classroom, gender, teaching&ndash, learning, and motivation are crucial factors for achieving an optimal academic performance and preventing school failure. The aim of the present study was: (1) to examine which variables of the dimensions &ldquo, Learning Mathematics&rdquo, and &ldquo, School Environment&rdquo, significantly contribute to the marks in the second quarter and quantify their relative importance, (2) to determine the optimal algorithm model for predicting the maximum gain in students&rsquo, marks in the second quarter and quantifying it, and (3) to analyze the maximum gain in terms of gender. A total of 2018 high school students in Melilla were included in this cross-sectional study. Mathematical learning and the school environment were assessed using a validated 14-item questionnaire. Gain lift was employed to quantify the improvement in students&rsquo, performance. The role of the classroom and teacher&ndash, student relationship had a greater influence on mathematics scores than affinity indicators, teaching, study time, teaching resources used, study aids, and motivation.

The lack of a relationship between the tutor and the course participants makes this type of environment unmotivating for most online training course participants. But every day there is an increasing offer of online courses for teacher training, so the aim of the study is to know the profile of teachers who opt for online training and their opinion about them. Fifty online courses belonging to the educational offer of the Regional Ministry of Education of Madrid have been analysed, obtaining data from the online surveys carried out at the end of each of these courses. It has been found that this online training offer is promoted and channelled mainly from the web and the services of the council itself. What is most valued by the teachers surveyed are the contents and activities, rather than the format of the course or the technologies on which it is based. The courses with pedagogical themes are the ones that are most valued above the technological ones. The conclusions suggest that a boost in the technopedagogical part of the courses developed in online learning environments is needed., Los cursos de formación en línea son considerados en ocasiones como poco motivadores debido a la ausencia de relación con el tutor y entre los participantes del curso. Pero cada día hay más cursos a distancia para formación docente, por ello, el objetivo del presente estudio es conocer qué perfil de docentes opta por la formación en línea y qué opinión genera en ellos. Se han analizado cincuenta cursos en línea pertenecientes a la oferta formativa de la Consejería de Educación de Madrid, obteniendo datos de los cuestionarios en línea realizados al final de cada uno de esos cursos. Se ha encontrado que esta oferta formativa en línea está promovida y canalizada fundamentalmente desde la web y los servicios de la propia consejería y que lo que más se valora por parte de los profesores que se están formando son los contenidos y actividades, más que el formato del propio curso o las tecnologías en que se apoya. Los cursos con temáticas pedagógicas son los que más se valoran, por encima de los tecnológicos. Las conclusiones apuntan hacia la necesidad de un refuerzo de la parte tecnopedagógica en los cursos que se desarrollan en entornos de aprendizaje en línea

Resumen basado en el de la publicación Título, resumen y palabras clave también en inglés Una propuesta concreta de uso de un Sistema de Geometría Dinámica en un entorno educativo STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) en general y en la asignatura de Matemáticas en particular, consiste en el estudio, manipulación y generación de simulaciones digitales de mecanismos articulados. Se recopila propuestas que argumentan a favor del uso de modelos mecánicos o articulados de mecanismos, en particular los utilizados para dibujar o trazar curvas, como un medio de generación de ideas o nociones matemáticas complejas apoyados por las posibilidades de la geometría dinámica. Además, este enfoque supone un recurso muy efectivo para la introducción en el aula de contextos históricos de recreación de la experiencia científica. Se presentan dos repositorios digitales de mecanismos articulados, la Kinematics Models For Design Digital Library y el Laboratorio delle Macchine Matematiche así como una revisión de propuestas didácticas del uso educativo de este tipo de mecanismos. In a digital and interconnected context, where educational processes are in constant change, active methodologies take on a relevant role by making students the protagonists of their learning. Among the different possibilities, the flipped classroom stands out for its time optimization, the incorporation of technological resources, and the personalization of the processes. The aim of this research is to analyze the perception of higher education students about the usefulness of the flipped classroom as a methodology. The information was collected with a validated instrument, which was applied to a sample of 123 students from the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the University of M&aacute, laga (Spain). A positive evaluation of the usefulness of the flipped classroom as a learning methodology was reflected in the results, highlighting its instrumental dimension. Significant differences were perceived regarding the usefulness of the flipped classroom for the promotion of autonomous learning, which had a superior valuation according to women. In conclusion, the flipped classroom stands as a methodological alternative to promote learning that has a positive evaluation from the students that made up the sample.

The number of mobiles surpassed the population of the planet in 2018. Without a doubt, they have become the tool of reference in our social life, as well as in our work and leisure, but in educational centers, they continue to be used inefficiently or are declared off limits to some classrooms. This study aims to establish the relationship that the use of mobile phones in secondary education schools may have in regard to the student's academic performance. For this purpose, we will carry out a secondary exploitation of the Ministry of Education database for 2017 with the data of 1,887,027 students from 7381 compulsory secondary education schools in Spain. As a method of analysis, a multilevel correlation study is carried out. The results show a strong correlation between centers and territories that allow the usage of mobile devices in education and academic performance. Although the methodology that accompanies the use of the smartphone as an educational tool is very important, the data obtained leads us to think that using mobile phones in schools is a proposal that somehow influences the achievement of better academic results, with almost any methodology used., This research was funded by UNIVERSIDAD AUTÓNOMA DE MADRID, grant number FPE_010.17_INN.

This research focuses on an Andalusia public secondary education centre that studies the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the teaching-learning process and in bilingual education in particular. Its importance is due to the special impact that the Organic Law 8/2013 on the Improvement of the Quality of Education (LOMCE 2013) makes on ICT and the promotion of multilingualism with a view to transforming the education system. The purpose of this study is to verify the actual use of ICT by teachers who teach the non-linguistic areas included in the bilingual project of the centre and relate it to the characteristics of the teachers themselves and the benefits that the use of ICT can provide in this mode of teaching for the students. The knowledge of the factors involved in the use of ICT in the centre, both for and against them, would allow the design of improvement strategies that encourage the necessary changes to optimize and make the educational use of these new technologies more effective, converting them from mere ICT to real LKT (learning and knowledge technologies).

Granada, Spain, Young and mobile are an intense combination in entertainment. Mobile phones can also be a powerful tool in improving some teaching parameters, also in Physical Education. This research aims to test if Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality with mobile phones can have an impact on Physical Education students and their abilities in spatial orientation and distance estimation. In the investigation we have created two virtual and augmented scenarios, and a quantitative methodology has been used to analyze and contrast the learning tests carried out. The results show that these augmented worlds improve spatial orientation and estimation capacity. The study shows that it is convenient to develop activities and digital scenarios to incorporate mobile augmented reality in the learning of spatial orientation, at the same time as teaching skills are improved, The present research his part of the competitive Project of Teaching Innovation called “Augmented Learning and Mobile (ALM). The Information and communication technology, like the other resources that are integrated in the classroom, requires a design and organization that answers in on adapted way to the teacher s didactic intentions. The work tries to analyze the organization and the design ofthe digital resources of the classroom in four centres ofthe CAM and the contents and activities that are carried out with these technologies.The work we show starts cicumscribing the theoretic field of reference, that we call ADIM. Afterwards, it has been describe process carried out in the development of the investigation to identify the tactically main points in the plans of integration of technologies in the classrooms from three points of view: the equipment, the contents and the methodology. The main objective is to propose indicating that orients the design ofthe technology classroom, and the way of work in this enviroments, and to develop educative multimedia exercises and the guidelines to define them.

Se ha integrado una red social en el programa de estudio de Grado de Magisterio de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid y se ha registrado el uso que hacen de ella los estudiantes y el impacto que estas tecnologías tienen en su actividad académica y su socialización. El formato elegido es el de red vertical o red propia, que ofrece posibilidades de gestión y seguridad adaptables a los requerimientos de los docentes. Se ha llevado a cabo un estudio de caso en una red social vertical propia con tres grupos de estudiantes de Grado de Magisterio (futuros docentes) siguiendo un proceso de recogida sistemática de datos. Como comprobaremos, su uso está muy extendido como elemento de comunicación social y ofrece mejoras en su aplicación académica desde el punto de vista de la interacción educativa y la motivación formativa. Las redes sociales ofrecen grandes posibilidades de comunicación e interacción social en los nuevos ciudadanos del siglo XXI, pero lo hacen con propiedades y funcionalidades muy distintas. Desde la formación universitaria podemos recoger algunas de estas características para fortalecer la actividad de aprendizaje a través de una mejor o mayor comunicación. Pero no todas las redes son iguales ni todas sirven para el entorno educativo. Elementos referidos a la seguridad, la privacidad o el control de la actividad de los usuarios son fundamentales a la hora de plantearnos su integración como una herramienta académica formal. Las redes sociales de carácter vertical son una excelente herramienta de enseñanza-aprendizaje para las instituciones de educación superior, y veremos que algunas universidades ya las están poniendo en uso en sus planes de formación e investigación. En estas líneas presentaremos algunas de las ventajas que ofrecen en su integración formal a la vez que adelantaremos las dificultades que debemos salvar para alinear la actividad con la red y nuestros objetivos docentes. Social networks offer great potential for communication and social interaction in the new citizens of the XXI century, but social networks do it with different properties and functionalities. From university we can incorporate some of these features to strengthen the learning activity through a better communication. But not all networks are equal and not all networks can be used in educational environment. Items like security, privacy or activity control are fundamental to their integration as a formal academic tool. The vertical social networks are a great tool for teaching and learning in higher education institutions, and many universities use it for training and research programs. We will present some of the advantages they offer in formal training. At the same time we will advance the difficulties to align the social network activity with our teaching objectives.

Sin duda una de las características relevantes de la sociedad en que vivimos es la incorporación de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) en todos los ámbitos de la vida. El entorno educativo no está aislado a esta tendencia de incorporación de las tecnologías, y vive un periodo de cambios y transformaciones que genera reflexiones y debates entre los profesionales del sector.

Resumen tomado del autor La formación en didáctica de las matemáticas de los maestros de Educación Infantil y Primaria, es una de las tareas que se aborda de un modo muy diferente en las distintas Escuelas de Magisterio y de Formación del Profesorado. En concreto, la adquisición de competencias profesionales en el diseño de programas que promuevan el desarrollo del pensamiento lógico-matemático de los niños, representa uno de los desafíos más importantes que se afrontan en estos niveles educativos. Se exponen y analizan las perspectivas actuales del 'aprendizaje colaborativo' con el uso del ordenador y las TIC (Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación), para mejorar la formación de maestros en este área. Todo ello a través de una actividad en el último curso en la diplomatura de Magisterio, en la especialidad de Educación Infantil y dentro de la asignatura 'Desarrollo del pensamientomatemático y su didáctica'.
