Background: A patient’s medical record should provide accurate information on who the patient is and who provided health care; what, when, why and how services were provided; and the outcome of care and treatment. Objectives: The study was conducted with the objective of revealing the condition of medical audit of the inpatient department in Rangpur medical college hospital in short duration of time. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was done in inpatient department in Rangpur Medical College & Hospital. This was carried out on 160 medical documents, interview with providers, record of hospital statistics & personal observation on physical facilities in indoor at the time of the study to find out in what extend medical record exist in patient service. Results: In inpatient department of Hospital, the generation and location of the form in all wards were inpatient, administrative office & type of the forms were mixed pattern. There was no electronic record system in the medicine department. They consisted of forms, sheet & register khata. Medical records were not filled of in most of the cases. A hundred and sixty records were checked where most of the components were not filled up completely (above 30% not filled up). The recording of hospital statistics were satisfactory and maintained regularly in the inpatient department. Conclusion: The standard of documentation by providers in inpatient medical records was found to be acceptable, with improvements required in a number of specific items. Systematic reuse of industrial debris is a crucial component that helps shape the sustainable construction system and green technology. The effective optimization of waste ceramic and glass fines into concrete mixes, as partial replacements of natural sand by volume, has been used in this study to explore the mechanical properties of ceramic recycled aggregate (CRA) and glass recycled aggregate (GRA) concrete at higher temperatures. The study comprises 17 types of concrete mixtures comprised of normal concrete (NC) along with 8 different mixes from both GRA and CRA concrete. In both types of GRA and CRA concrete, the sand replacement (by volume) ratios are similar. This paper highlights NC along with the volumetric replacements of sand as 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 35%, and 40% in other mixes. A total of 306 cylinders were made whereas 18 cylinders for NC and each group (GRA and CRA) included n=18 cylinders. Selected temperatures were 25°C, 100°C, 200°C, 400°C, 600°C, and 800°C to determine the overall mechanical and chemical alterations in NC and recycled concrete. The study reveals that increasing the addition of recycled glass and ceramic fines improves the overall compressive strength, and tensile strength compared to normal concrete. Higher replacement of ceramic and glass fines reduces the cracks and enhances the durability of concrete. In addition, more strength reduction was noticed in NC with increasing temperatures, while the reduction rate was slower in both GRA and CRA concrete. Furthermore, the study expounds that, by exploiting the ceramic and glass wastes (as fines) into concrete would result in two-way environmental advantages. One is, it would reduce the hazardous ceramic and glass landfills while the other is, it would minimize the frequency of sand mining.

This article investigates New Age and its challenge to religion, in general, and Islam, more specifically. The article is based on the empirical data gathered by Hugh Urban, Daren Kemp, and James R. Lewis. New Age will be situated within its socio-cultural context to better understand its appeal as an alternative to mainstream religion. The article will also investigate the Poet Muhammad Iqbal’s spiritual system as a means of finding an Islamic response to New Age. Rhonda Byrne’s popularity among Arab youth will be examined, as will the response to it by Shaykh Muhammad Saalih Al-Munajjid. The article proposes that educational syllabuses in Muslim higher learning institutions must be upgraded to include Islamic responses to New Age, by emphasizing Islam’s spiritual tradition. Currently there is a gap in the academic literature pertaining to New Age and Islam. This article hopes to provide a stimulus to great research in this area. The research uses comparative and qualitative method of content analysis. One of its drawbacks is that no empirical studies have yet to be done regarding Muslim youth perceptions on New Age. This research concludes that Muslim academics and educators must re-examine Iqbal’s spiritual paradigm in order to deal effectively with contemporary challenges such as the New Age challenge. This research is important because it will help to extend the scope of Comparative Religion in Islamic studies to include new cultural elements as New Age. It also may be suggestive of how Islamic studies departments, in universities and institutions, can update their syllabus to include responses to the latest socio-ideological changes amongst the younger generation. Finally, this research shows the vitality of Iqbal’s thought to contemporary issues facing the globe. This article will be useful to educators who are interested in engaging with Muslim Youth on the latest topics that may affect them.

Chatbots have gained popularity as a tool for managing chronic diseases, with potential advantages such as increased accessibility, individualized care, and cost-effectiveness. This efficient audit means to assess the momentum proof on the viability of chatbot-empowered persistent infection the board intercessions. Twenty relevant studies were identified through a thorough search of multiple databases and included in this review. Diabetes, high blood pressure, and mental health issues were all included in the studies. Generally speaking, the discoveries propose that chatbot-empowered mediations can be successful in further developing wellbeing results, for example, lessening pulse levels, expanding drug adherence, and working on personal satisfaction. However, additional research is required to address the potential ethical issues associated with the utilization of chatbots in healthcare and to evaluate the long-term viability of these interventions.

A comprehensive literature review on how to protect WSNs and Android devices from cyberattacks is presented in this paper. The survey centers around the utilization of AI and different methods to recognize and forestall malware, as well as the utilization of encryption and other safety efforts to safeguard against unapproved access. According to the findings, although there is no one solution that can completely secure WSNs and Android devices, employing a proactive strategy and a variety of security measures can significantly lower the risk of cyberattacks.

Computer-aided drug design by molecular docking, statistical analysis like multiple linear regression (MLR), principal component analysis (PCA), and molecular dynamics studies can emerge as an efficient approach to design promising core scaffolds for coronavirus medication. The main protease (3CLpro) of SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV-1 is one of the critical targets for designing and developing broad-antiviral therapeutic drugs. In this evaluation, we have selected 40 reported phytochemicals to design the efficient core scaffolds, which can act as a potent inhibitor against the main protease of SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV-1. We categorized the selected phytochemicals into a more bioavailable and less bioavailable set considering phytochemical drug likeliness properties. All the selected phytochemicals vigorously interact with the catalytic dyad His41 and Cys145. Statistical analysis MLR has confirmed their contribution to structural features on binding affinities and PCA analysis for structural activity relationship (SAR) for their structural pattern recognition to determine the core scaffolds inhibitors. We have confirmed that 4'-Hydroxyisolonchocarpin, and BrussochalconeA, are safe and exhibit good pharmacological properties. Our comprehensive computational and statistical analysis reveals that these selected phytochemicals (4'-Hydroxyisolonchocarpin, BrussochalconeA) can be used to design potential broad-antiviral inhibitors against the SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV-1.

Coronavirus infectious disease 2019 (COVID-19) first reported in Wuhan, China, causes serious respiratory illnesses such as lung failure and pneumonia. Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) the pathogenic agent of COVID-19 has been confirmed as a novel coronavirus. WHO announced COVID-19 a global pandemic and now the whole world is eagerly waiting for vaccines and therapeutic treatment to get rid of this unstoppable coronavirus. As COVID-19 infection, a global threat creates unwanted human casualties and serious economic loss. To stop the ongoing uncontrolled situation researchers are racing to develop prevention and treatment strategies. Vaccines of different countries are in clinical and preclinical trials and the repurposed-drugs are providing to find out a positive result against COVID-19. The report is an analysis of published information focusing on treatment options including vaccination, drug-therapy, cytokines, therapeutic antibodies. Most of the vaccine’s development strategies and drugs target the surface structural spike glycoprotein or S-protein, the major inducer of pathogenic responses. Here, it is reviewed the features of SARS-CoV-2 and the global current status of therapeutic, and vaccine development for the prevention and effective treatment of COVID-19.

18 Leafy (Sabarang, Amila pata, Lalam pata, Baruna shak, Ojan shak, Ghanda batali, Orai balai, bat slai, Maytraba, Dime pata, Maisa pagoh, Sime alu pata, Kongulo aga, Sinei shak, Bat baitta shak, Moikhumu bochuk, Sakum bakla, Taoling asku), 12 Non-Leafy (Sigon data, Fekong, Sengatur/ Thorai, Seon shak, Bash korol, Maira bokong, Laigra bokong, Mistti begun, Tak begun, Pan/Jhum alu, Banchalta, and Bedagi) vegetables and 3 Fruits (Sinera, Roshko, Kushumgulu) from three hilly districts (Bandarban, Rangamati and Khagrachari) of Chittagong Hill Tracts and 7 common non-leafy vegetables (Carrot, Ripe Tomato, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Radish, Bean, Green Tomato) of Bangladesh were estimated for their total carotenoid contents using spectrophotometric method. Among the leafy vegetables, Sime alu pata has the highest and dime pata has the lowest carotenoid content. Among the raw non-leafy vegetables, Agacha baulo has the highest and Fakong has the lowest carotenoid content. Among the 3 fruits from Chittagong Hill Tracts, Sinera has the highest and Kushumgulu has the lowest carotenoid. Among the common non-leafy vegetables, Carrot has the highest and Green Tomato has the lowest carotenoid content and the median value of the total carotenoid content in these common non- leafy vegetables is present in Cabbage. Rich sources for carotenoid among the studied vegetables and fruits are Sime alu pata, Agacha baulo, Maytraba and Carrot in decreasing order respectively.

In this paper, the study of non-Newtonian fluid flow with heat transfer in a porous asymmetric channel due to peristaltic wave was taken out. Hall current and Ohmic heating effects were introduced in the present study. A Casson non-Newtonian constitutive model was employed for the transport of fluid. Analytical solutions were obtained for stream function, temperature and heat transfer coefficient. The coupled nonlinear equations have also been solved numerically using MATLAB software (by bvp4c function). The influences of many evolving parameters on the flow characteristic have been explained with the help of 2D and 3D plots. Again the obtained results were compared with the results available in the literature and were found in good agreement.

The garments industries which are traditionally operated are facing lots of problems such as low productivity, poor line balancing, high rejection, high defects, unable to achieve lead time. So defects minimization is the first condition of reducing cost and increasing productivity. The work aims to minimize the defect percentage by using DMAIC approach of Six Sigma methodology. The study is carried out in Ananta Apparels Ltd. by using DMAIC methodology of six sigma to minimize the defect rate in sewing section. Five phases of the DMAIC methodology named Define, Measure, Analyze, Improveand Control which indicates some critical defects such as stain, skip stitch, broken stitch, and slip out in the sewing section of Ananta Apparels Ltd. We applied various types of six sigma tools in different phases. The outcome of this study is very significant to implement in the sewing section of the apparel industry.

The use of textiles in the medical sector is increasing day by day. An important and emerging part of the textile industry is medical, hygiene and health care sector. Textiles are a compelling solution for implantable medical devices, primarily due to the versatility they offer in product design. Textiles are in 2D and 3D implantable forms, with configurations limited only by the imagination. The number of applications is enormous and diverse, ranging from a single thread suture to the complex composite structures for bone replacement and from the simple cleaning wipe to advanced barrier fabrics used in Operation Theater. The main object of this work is to study the types of implantable textiles used in the medical sector such as surgical suture, artificial skin, artificial ligament, and artificial cartilage. In this study, we have included different types of raw materials used and the manufacturing process of these implantable medical textiles.

There is a need for global, regional, and local-level mitigation and adaptive strategies to address the reality of climate change impact. Adaptation to climate change is a critical issue in the Southeast Asian region. Geospatial, socioeconomic, and demographic conditions make South Asia to be one of the most vulnerable regions to climate change. The affected regions of Bangladesh have formed an alliance to study, adapt, and mitigate such calamities. Academic and policy research is increasing sharply as a result of the growing evidence on inevitable impacts in the region. Quick and effective actions for South Asia can make significant changes for the people of this region, who necessarily depend on agricultural and natural resources to make a living. South Asian countries ‘as a union’ can better negotiate with international assemblages and design joint coping mechanisms. For that reason, more efforts are required to drive future responses, including such aspects as vulnerability and adaptation assessments, methodology and approaches for modelling and data gathering, institutional approaches, financial and technical support, awareness and training, and networking and information management. Adaptation is a knowledge-intensive undertaking, which requires the provision of access to relevant and usable knowledge to ensure effective implementation and outcomes. Thus, there is a need for more regional collaborations and cooperation to reduce the diverse effects of climate change in South Asian countries. This chapter reviews the overall situation of climate change in Bangladesh and also explains various adaptation strategies from different dimensions.
