Nonprofit organizations are working very hard to raise money today. The emphasis is on financial management. The recession and the reduction in inflationary pressures that it produced have brought about a lower economic growth rate than the one previously projected by Chemical Bank. It is forecasted that individual giving will rise by 4.5 per cent in 1983-1988. It is forecasted that corporate gifts will rise by 12.9 per cent.
