The testing of Abraham in Genesis 22:1-19 and the testing of Christ in Gethsemane in Matthew 26:36-46 are discussed in relation to the knowledge of God. The relationship between divine reality and human historical actuality is explored.

Psalm 8 defines human beings as creatures who are aware of their mortality, can control their environment and are religious. These characteristics have been the source of some protest because, for example, being able to control the environment should not give humans anthropocentric control over all other creatures. However, the Psalm also gives guidance for the use of these characteristics in that humans know they are frail but can accept it, the ability to control comes with it a vocation to God and religious needs are tempered by the awareness that God watches over everyone.

At the heart of the faith professed in the Psalms is the proclamation that 'the Lord reigns!' This ancient proclamation evokes a language-world in which God, world, and human existence are understood in terms of the sovereignty of God. In using the Psalms for praise and prayer the church is faithful to the ancient and renewing liturgy of the reign of God.

We found low prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 (2.7% [5/188]) among pregnant and postpartum patients with universal testing.
