The 1948 photo portrays Dolores Mayer, '49 (Mrs. Dolores Marie Connor) as the Virgin Mary. The article regarding the annual Christmas program, similar to earlier ones, concludes "The Madonna will wear the white and gold costume of Our Lady of Faitima. Selection for this role is one of major honors for which seniors only are eligible."

Joyce Breen, '52 (Mrs. Joyce Rehfield) portrays The Virgin Mary. Gathered around the Madonna, on the temporary stage erected in the Clare Hall gymnasium, were class representatives holding lighted candles in tribute to Christ, the Light of the World.

The ballet "Intrigue" with music by Stravinsky, was performed at Butler University in the Spring of 1962. The program concluded with Act III of "Swan Lake," staged by William Glenn of the Butler dance faculty. The role of the Black Swan was alternated by Elizabeth Crall and Frances Barbour (shown here).
