This study aims to discover the motives behind several Muslim youths in Indonesia who consume 0% alcohol drinks from popular alcohol brands even though the drink is not halal certified. This phenomenological research describes a factual reality based on the informant's experience as a consumer of 0% alcohol drink. Data sources were obtained through direct and indirect interviews with 15 informants, namely Muslim youth who consume 0% alcohol with an age range of 15-25 years. The results of this study indicate that there are internal and external motives behind Muslim youths consuming 0% alcohol. Internal motives from within Muslim adolescents include curiosity and the desire to try as an alternative to drinking, as well as to relieve stress and to refresh themselves. Meanwhile, external motives or influences from outside the Muslim youth include invitations from peers and environmental influences. This research also identified that some perpetrators who drink 0% of alcoholic drinks made by popular alcohol brands have low awareness of the halal label. This study contributes to global research by revealing how Muslim youth in Indonesia, driven by curiosity and peer influence, consume 0% alcohol drinks despite the lack of halal certification. This study suggests increasing halal awareness among Muslim adolescents through education and encouraging the Indonesian Ulema Council to emphasize the importance of halal certification, particularly for 0% alcohol drinks, to guide informed consumer choices. Digital campaigns promoting halal ecotourism in mosques are crucial for advancing sustainability and environmental awareness among Muslims. This study explores the role of the Instagram account @saviorangers digital campaigns in promoting sustainability and environmental conservation at Salman Mosque ITB within the context of halal ecotourism. This study used a qualitative netnographic approach and analyzed 44 posts from 2022-2023 to identify dominant themes and measure user engagement. Tools like NVivo 12 Plus and Phlanx.com were employed for word cloud analysis and engagement rate calculation, respectively. This study identified key themes, which include "garbage alms," "Earth Day," "sacrificial container alms," and "waste sorting." The "garbage alms" theme garnered the highest engagement, indicating strong user interest. The engagement rate of 16.83% reflects significant user interaction, with an average of 126 likes and 6 comments per post. The findings highlight the effectiveness of @saviorangers in raising awareness and encouraging participation in sustainability practices. This study provides valuable insights for other mosques aiming to adopt similar digital campaigns to enhance their role in halal tourism and environmental conservation. The banking industry necessitates implementing an early warning system to effectively identify the factors that impact bank managers and enable them to make informed decisions, thereby mitigating systemic risk. Identifying factors that influence banks in times of stability and crisis is crucial, as it ultimately contributes to developing an improved early warning system. This study undertakes a comparative analysis of the stability of Indonesian Islamic and conventional banking across distinct economic regimes—crisis and stability. We analyze monthly banking data from December 2007 to November 2022 using the Markov Switching Dynamic Regression technique. The study focuses on conducting a comparative analysis between Islamic banks, represented by Islamic Commercial Bank (ICB) and Islamic Rural Bank (IRB), and conventional banks, represented by the Conventional Commercial Bank (CCB) and Conventional Rural Bank (CRB). The findings reveal that both Islamic and conventional banks exhibit a higher probability of being in a stable regime than a crisis regime. Notably, Islamic banks demonstrate a greater propensity to remain in a stable regime than their conventional counterparts. However, in a crisis regime, the likelihood of recovery for Sharia-compliant institutions is lower than for conventional banks. Furthermore, our analysis indicates that larger banks exhibit higher stability than their smaller counterparts regarding assets and size. This study pioneers a comprehensive comparison of the Z-score, employed as a proxy for stability, between two distinct classifications of Indonesian banks: Sharia (ICB and IRB) and conventional (CCB and CRB). The result is expected to improve our awareness of the elements that affect the stability of Islamic and conventional banking in Indonesia, leading to a deeper comprehension of their dynamics. This study formulates a triple helix model for increasing community awareness of halal product consumption and lifestyle. It is essential to increase halal awareness not only as a form of religious obedience but also to provide consumers protection, improve product quality, encourage product innovation, and fulfil international standards. This qualitative study constructs a Triple Helix model using a descriptive analysis technique and the Inputs, Activities, Outputs, Outcomes, and Impact (IAOOI) Approach. The findings indicate that the government is crucial in answering the research question. The government is expected to provide optimal support for creating such an environment through laws, regulations, infrastructure development, and other methods. Academicians are responsible for conducting scientific research in the halal industry and social programs and disseminating their findings to the general public. Practitioners in the halal industry can participate in community-based events to increase public awareness of halal products and lifestyles. This study investigates the effect of Islamic bank financings on banks' profitability during two distinct periods, namely stable and unstable conditions. This study also examines the profitability tendencies of banks during the two periods mentioned. To answer these objectives, this study applies the Markov Switching Dynamic Regression technique to 173 monthly observations from the Islamic commercial banking industry from December 2007 to March 2022. In stable times, the results indicate that productive financing harms the profitability of Islamic banks. Productive financing entails greater credit risk and can raise principal-agent concerns, moral hazard, and adverse selection. Consequently, productive financing necessitates higher monitoring costs. In an unstable period, consumptive financing negatively affects Islamic bank profitability. The proportion of consumptive financing exceeds the proportion of productive financing. This then increases the risk of credit and default, especially during economic instability when many consumers request reconditioning and even restructuring of financings from the bank. In addition, the results indicate that the profitability of Islamic banking is anticipated to endure longer in stable regimes and to recoup more quickly from unstable or crisis regimes. The findings of this study will likely serve as references and materials for banking management decisions, particularly financing decisions during periods of economic stability and crisis. Islamic banking should prioritize consumer financing during periods of economic stability and increase the proportion of productive financing during periods of economic instability. This research aims to analyze problems, solutions, and strategic policies to support the development of halal tourism in Pamekasan by employing the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method. Data were obtained from nine experts consisting of representatives of academics, practitioners, associations, and regulators. Findings show that the most dominant issue is the aspect of human resources, followed by infrastructure, regulation, management, and marketing issues. Several strategic policies can be implemented to strengthen the development of halal tourism in Pamekasan, including (1) forming a team of mediators and regional tourism councils; (2) establishing halal tourism as a regional priority program; (3) increasing the capacity of Human Resources that involved in Halal tourism; (4) revitalizing tourism infrastructure and support its development; (5) increasing the diversification of halal tourism products; and (6) encouraging and facilitating halal certification. This research is expected to serve as a policy reference for decision-making, particularly in the development of Halal tourism. Further research could be conducted to investigate the implementation of halal tourism in Pamekasan; following the adoption of the RIPPDA Regional Regulation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
