The emergence of security vulnerabilities and risks in software development assisted by self-generated tools, particularly with regard to the generation of code that lacks due consideration of security measures, could have significant consequences for industry and its organizations. This manuscript aims to demonstrate how such self-generative vulnerabilities manifest in software programming, through a case study. To this end, this work undertakes a methodology that illustrates a practical example of vulnerability existing in the code generated using an AI model such as ChatGPT, showcasing the creation of a web application database, SQL queries, and PHP server-side. At the same time, the experimentation details a step-by-step SQL injection attack process, highlighting the hacker's actions to exploit the vulnerability in the website's database structure, through iterative testing and executing SQL commands to gain access to sensitive data. Recommendations on effective prevention strategies include training programs, error analysis, responsible attitude, integration of tools and audits in software development, and collaboration with third parties. As a result, this manuscript discusses compliance with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and HIPAA, along with the adoption of standards such as ISO/IEC 27002 or ISA/IEC 62443, for industrial applications. Such measures lead to the conclusion that incorporating secure coding standards and guideline—from organizations such as OWASP and CERT training programs—further strengthens defenses against vulnerabilities introduced by AI-generated code and novice programming errors, ultimately improving overall security and regulatory compliance. Debates have been used to develop critical thinking within teaching environments. Many learning activities are configured as working groups, which use debates to make decisions. Nevertheless, in a classroom debate, only a few students can participate; large work groups are similarly limited. Whilst the use of web tools would appear to offer a convenient solution, none of those currently available provides an automated system for organizing contributions into a logical structure, or for making decisions. To address this problem, this paper describes a new tool for managing and structuring debates over the Internet, and presents the results of a series of trials in an educational context. The tool enables users to post opinions and proposals, and to make multiple group decisions. The main advantages are that it does not require a moderator, and all contributions are automatically arranged into an intuitive structure. Thus, it enabled large groups to carry out bigger projects. Empirical results showed that it also encouraged the involvement of all the students in debates and allowed the participation of each student to be evaluated. The tool demonstrated its advantages over traditional oral debates and, as far as we are aware, it incorporates features not found in any other comparable web tool.

This paper focuses on the design and construction of an optimization charging system for Li–Po batteries by means of tracked solar panels. Thus, the implementation of a complete energy management system applied to a robotic exploration vehicle is put forward. The proposed system was tested on the VANTER robotic platform—an autonomous unmanned exploration vehicle specialized in recognition. The interest of this robotic system lies in the design concept, based on a smart host microcontroller. On this basis, our proposal makes a twofold significant contribution. On the one hand, it presents the construction of a solar tracking mechanism aimed at increasing the rover's power regardless of its mobility. On the other hand, it proposes an alternative design of power system performance based on a pack of two batteries. The aim is completing the process of charging a battery independently while the other battery provides all the energy consumed by the robotic vehicle. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
