The article focuses on Senator Estes Kefauver of Tennessee. According to William C. McDonough, editor of the periodical "Chattanooga News-Free Press," Kefauver has the heart, mind and dedicated spirit of a president. Stewart Alsop of the periodical "Boston Herald" characterizes Kefauver as an able, honorable, but too ambitious man. Kefauver's classmates remember him as one of the most unprepossessing freshmen at the University of Tennessee.
