The aim of this final chapter is to integrate the results obtained from the multi-disciplinary study applied to a series of coprolites from the Late Mesolithic and Early Neolithic Swifterbant Culture sites, to determine their role as a source of information about the prehistoric dietary tradition and health.The study of coprolites provides a unique opportunity to reconstruct the most complete spectrum of the foods that were consumed in the past, both as cooked meals as well as foods that were eaten raw. In addition to the food remains, coprolites also contain intestinal parasites which affected the health of prehistoric populations. Coprolite studies can also provide information about palaeoenvironmental conditions through the types of microfossils and macrofossils they contain.

Item does not contain fulltext BACKGROUND: Urethral coitus is rare and can arise in women who were born without a vagina, for instance in the context of Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome. CASE DESCRIPTION: A 16-year-old girl presented at the general practitioner's surgery with primary amenorrhoea. After a long diagnostic process she was diagnosed with MRKH syndrome and treatment with a vaginal dilator was started. During follow-up the patient reported pain on coitus and that she sometimes lost a lot of fluid during intercourse. It appeared that the patient had dilated her urethra, not her vagina, and that she had had urethral coitus. The patient underwent Davydovvaginoplasty without complications. CONCLUSION: In patients with MRKH syndrome who experience urinary incontinence (particularly during and after coitus), recurrent urinary tract infections and dyspareunia urethral coitus should be suspected.

This article provides practical advice on which type of mask is indicated in what specific situation, what requirements the mask should meet and how to optimise the local workflow, including the re-use of masks after decontamination.

In 2015 and 2016, we took what is a rare opportunity in the social sciences to re-visit the study ‘Eating Out’, which was first conducted in 1995 (Warde and Martens, 2000). This study explored from the point of view of diners the increasingly popular practice of eating main meals in commercial establishments. To explore changes and continuities in such a practice over time, we take instruction from the technique of what Burawoy (2003) calls the ‘focused revisit’. This involves revisiting sites studied at an earlier time, but is distinguishable from a re-analysis or the updating of previous studies. The purpose of a re-visit is to understand and explain variation in what is observed, without being enslaved by the rules that govern ‘replicable’ research. By applying principles of an ethnographic revisit to a mixed-method study of ‘eating out’, and ‘eating in’, we were able to re-engage with the topics and literatures arising (e.g. sustainable consumption, eating out as a practice), rather than solely updating the 1995 analysis with the same purposes in mind. This chapter explores the logic of revisiting ‘Eating Out’ and reflects upon the prospects and challenges afforded by this exciting opportunity. Taking instruction from Glucksmann’s (2000) approach, we ‘open up’ the research process and discuss the ‘in between’ stage, between data collection and presentation of findings, to share a number of concrete examples of the challenges of a sociological revisit.
