Resumen: Introducción: Según los informes de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS, 2018) la salud ambiental está relacionada con todos los factores físicos, químicos y biológicos externos de una persona, donde acciones como llevar una dieta sana y realizar actividad física a lo largo de la vida, ayuda a prevenir enfermedades no transmisibles y trastornos relacionados con la salud, y adquieren especial significado en entornos escolares multiculturales y de familias más desfavorecidas. Objetivos: El objetivo principal es presentar el proyecto saludable del centro centrando la atención la relevancia de la dieta mediterránea y actividad física. Métodos: La muestra que compone el presente trabajo pertenece al Colegio de Educación Infantil y Primaria (CEIP) Rei en Jaume de Xirivella, en la provincia de Valencia (N=351 niños y niñas entre infantil y primaria; y 30 docentes). Resultados y discusión: Los principales resultados observables son: la motivación por parte del alumnado en las actuaciones previstas en el proyecto Ecoescuelas y Proyecto Actividad Física y Salud (PEAFS), y la participación del profesorado en la formación permanente respecto al trabajo colaborativo a través de proyectos de centro. Conclusiones: A partir del trabajo colaborativo desde la metodología por proyectos se logra la participación de todos los agentes implicados en la educación del alumnado, así como un mayor compromiso y participación en actividades promotoras de la salud., Introduction: According to the reports of the World Health Organization (WHO, 2018), environmental health is related to all the external physical, chemical and biological factors of a person, where actions such as eating a healthy diet and performing physical activity throughout the life, helps prevent non-communicable diseases and health-related disorders, and take on special significance in multicultural school settings and those of less-favored families. Aim: The main objective is to present the center's healthy project focusing attention on the relevance of the Mediterranean diet and physical activity. Methods: The sample that makes up this work belongs to College of Early Childhood and Primary Education (CEIP) Rei in Jaume of Xirivella, in the province of Valencia (N = 351 boys and girls between children and primary school; and 30 teachers). Results & discussion: The main observable results are the motivation on the part of the students in the actions foreseen in the Ecoescuelas and Peafs Project, and the participation of the teaching staff in the permanent training regarding collaborative work through center projects. Conclusions: From the collaborative works from the project methodology, the participation of all the agents involved in the education of the students is achieved, as well as a greater commitment and participation in health promoting activities., Resumo: Introdução: Segundo os relatórios da Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS, 2018), a saúde ambiental está relacionada a todos os fatores físicos, químicos e biológicos externos de uma pessoa, em que ações como comer uma dieta saudável e realizar atividades físicas durante todo o vida, ajuda a prevenir doenças não transmissíveis e distúrbios relacionados à saúde e assume um significado especial em ambientes escolares multiculturais e nas famílias menos favorecidas. Objectivos: O principal objetivo é apresentar o projeto saudável do centro, focando a atenção na relevância da dieta e atividade física do Mediterrâneo. Métodos: A amostra que compõe este trabalho pertence ao Escola de Educação Infantil e Primária (EEIP) Rei, em Jaume, de Xirivella, na província de Valência (N = 351 meninos e meninas entre bebês e primários; e 30 professores) Resultados e discussão: Os principais resultados observáveis são: motivação para parte dos alunos nas ações previstas no projeto Ecoescuelas e Peafs e participação do corpo docente em treinamento permanente sobre trabalho colaborativo em projetos escolares. Conclusões: A partir do trabalho colaborativo da metodologia do projeto, é alcançada a participação de todos os agentes envolvidos na educação dos alunos, bem como um maior comprometimento e participação nas atividades de promoção da saúde.

Viruses are an abundant, diverse and dynamic component of marine and terrestrial ecosystems. In the ocean, viruses play a key role in the biogeochemical cycles and controlling microbial abundance, diversity and evolution. Recent metagenomics studies assessed the structure of the viral community in the upper ocean. However, little is known about the compositional changes in viral communities along the deep ocean conveyor belt. To assess potential changes in the viral community in the global deepwater circulation system, water samples were collected in the core of the North Atlantic Deep Water (NADW) (∼2,500 m) and Pacific Antarctic Bottom Water (∼4,000 m). Microbial and viral abundance were evaluated by flow cytometry. Subsequently, flow cytometry was used to sort virus-like particles and next generation sequencing was applied to build DNA libraries from the sorted virus populations. The viral communities were highly diverse across different oceanic regions with high dissimilarity between samples. Only 18% of the viral protein clusters were shared between the NADW and the Pacific Antarctic Bottom Water. Few viral groups, mainly associated with uncultured environmental and uncultured Mediterranean viruses were ubiquitously distributed along the global deep-water circulation system. Thus, our results point to a few groups of widely distributed abundant viruses in addition to the presence of rare and diverse types of viruses at a local scale.

The shape of the vaults in masonry bridges has evolved during the history, so that we can find bibliography where, besides recommending one way of build instead of others depending on the period, is also prescribed the way to carry out the backfill of the extrados. All of this emerged initially as a result of the experiences acquired during the construction and the observation of bridges. Hence, during the 18th century new formulations started to arise, but they led to one result in some cases and to the opposite in others. This article tries to make a comparison between some of these formulations, as well as carrying out an analysis of the influence of both, the lowering rise/span ratio of the vaults and the presence of a resistant backfill in its extrados, on the variation of the breaking load. La forma de las bóvedas de los puentes de piedra ha ido evolucionando con el tiempo, existiendo bibliografía en la que además de recomendarse una tipología frente a otra, según la época, se prescribía la manera de ejecutar el relleno del trasdós. Todo ello surgía en un principio como fruto de las experiencias adquiridas durante la construcción y observación de los puentes. Así fueron emergiendo, a partir del siglo xviii, formulaciones que en unos casos aportaban un resultado y en otros el contrario. Este artículo pretende realizar una comparación entre varias de estas formulaciones, así como efectuar un análisis de la influencia en la variación de la carga de rotura, tanto del rebajamiento de la bóveda como de la participación del relleno rígido en el trasdós del mismo.

Rocks creep has a great importance in the evaluation of the long-term behaviour of elements built with or within these materials. In this work, a porous well-known limestone locally named as San Julián stone has been physically and mechanically characterized. Uniaxial compressive tests for 96 h. at constant stress are carried out. Long-term behaviour has been modelled by means of a well-known creep model, the CEB-FIP Model code 2010, used for modelling other stony-material (i.e. concrete). Furthermore, a rheological model has been proposed. The main aim of this work is to investigate the possibility of exploiting the vast experience accumulated in the study of concrete deformational long-term behaviour in order to obtaining a reasonable approach to the behaviour of the rock, for too long testing times difficult to implement in laboratory. A creep function adapted to the studied rock only dependent on its elastic and mechanical characteristics is also proposed in this work., La fluencia de las rocas tiene gran importancia en la evaluación del comportamiento a largo plazo de elementos construidos con estos materiales. En este trabajo, se ha caracterizado física y mecánicamente una calcarenita porosa bien conocida localmente como Piedra de San Julián. Se han realizado ensayos de compresión uniaxial de 96 h. a carga constante. Se ha utilizado un modelo de fluencia bien conocido, el Código-modelo CEB-FIP 2010, usado para modelizar otro material pétreo (hormigón). Además, se ha propuesto un modelo reológico. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es investigar la posibilidad de aprovechar la gran experiencia acumulada en el estudio del hormigón, con el fin de obtener un enfoque para el comportamiento de la roca, para tiempos de prueba muy largos difíciles de implementar en laboratorio. Se propone una función de fluencia adaptada a la roca estudiada dependiente sólo de sus características elásticas y mecánicas.
