- Abstract
Introduction: The study objective was to determine whether different combinations of resilient factors existed, giving rise to distinct resilience profiles of secondary school teachers, and whether the resilient groups obtained presented technostress differences. Method: The Resilience Scale (1993) and the Questionnaire on Resources, Emotions / Experiences and Demands in ICT users (2004) were administered to 232 teachers from Alicante (Spain), aged between 27 and 60 years (M = 30.60; DT = 10.44). Results: The cluster analysis identified three resilient profiles: a high resilience profile, a low resilience profile, and a group in which self-discipline as well as low life and self-acceptance and social competence predominated. The high resilience profile presented lower technostress levels. Discussion and conclusion: The findings suggest the need to further explore how resilience can be developed in order to address technostress.
