The objective of this research was to understand the interactions between different actors of an educational community using a multi-method approach. The participants were twenty five teachers and one hundred children whose ages were between nine and twelve. Information was collected by means of the Behavioural Observation Record, the Bullying Report Checklist by Hirchstein, Edstom, Frey, Sneill, & Mackenzie (2007) and Discussion Groups. Frequency analysis were carried out in order to identify the prevalence of physical and psychological school bullying among peers inside and outside the classroom as well as the teachers' reactions when facing this kind of situation. The information obtained through the Discussion Groups was analysed through Strauss & Corbin's (2002) approach. That analysis led to understanding the underlying meaning of practices where the use of power and authority to intimidate and control others are evidenced. The participants' perception of impotence doesn't allow them to assume themselves as active subjects when coping with this reality.

New technologies have led to digital educational tools to improve learning. Game-Based Learning makes it possible to test whether there is a positive impact on official grades. We have collected the scores of the Kahoot! games, the marks of the continuous assessment, the final exam, and the final mark of the subject, to create an ad-hoc database. Finally, we have analyzed a database consisting of 392 marks of higher students from the first semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. We have calculated a correlation matrix, tested a hypothesis for differences in mean paired samples, and proposed three regression models to obtain that there is a positive influence of the games on the official marks. Therefore, Kahoot! is a didactic tool that improves students' learning and is reflected in their official marks.

Florbetaben (FBB) is a radiopharmaceutical approved by the FDA and EMA in 2014 for the positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of brain amyloid deposition in patients with cognitive impairment who are being evaluated for Alzheimer's disease (AD) or other causes of cognitive decline. Initially, the clinical adoption of FBB PET faced significant barriers, including reimbursement challenges and uncertainties regarding its integration into diagnostic clinical practice. This review examines the progress made in overcoming these obstacles and describes the concurrent evolution of the diagnostic landscape. Advances in quantification methods have further strengthened the traditional visual assessment approach. Over the past decade, compelling evidence has emerged, demonstrating that amyloid PET has a strong impact on AD diagnosis, management, and outcomes across diverse clinical scenarios, even in the absence of amyloid-targeted therapies. Amyloid PET imaging has become essential in clinical trials and the application of new AD therapeutics, particularly for confirming eligibility criteria (i.e., the presence of amyloid plaques) and monitoring biological responses to amyloid-lowering therapies. Since its approval, FBB PET has transitioned from a purely diagnostic tool aimed primarily at excluding amyloid pathology to a critical component in AD drug development, and today, it is essential in the diagnostic workup and therapy management of approved AD treatments. Background: Second-generation tau tracers for positron emission tomography (PET) show high affinity for paired helical filaments tau deposits characteristic of Alzheimer´s disease and low off-target binding. Differences in their chemical structure though may lead to variations in their regional tau uptake and off-target signal. In this work, we aimed to compare the in-vivo uptake of tau tracers [18F]PI-2620 and [18F]RO948 in the early stages of the AD continuum. Methods: Data from the TAU-PET FACEHBI clinical trial (EUDRA-CT 2021–000473-83) were analyzed. All participants were non-demented and underwent tau imaging with [18F]PI-2620 and [18F]RO948 PET within 3 months, amyloid imaging with [18F]Florbetaben and brain magnetic resonance imaging. Tau PET standardized uptake values ratios (SUVR) were calculated in Braak and typical off-target regions using the inferior cerebellar cortex as a reference region. Results: The cohort consisted of 18 individuals with subjective cognitive decline (n = 13) and mild cognitive impairment (n = 5), with centiloid values ranging from 17 to 159. Both tau tracers showed similar tau pathology distribution but presented a distinct off-target signal pattern on visual read. SUVR measurements for [18F]PI-2620 and [18F]RO948 were highly correlated in all Braak regions (R2 range [0.65–0.80]). Regarding off-target signal, [18F]PI-2620 had higher SUVRs in vascular structures, and [18F]RO948 had higher SUVRs in the skull/meninges. Conclusions: In a cohort of individuals at early stages of the AD continuum, tau PET tracers [18F]PI-2620 and [18F]RO948 showed similar in-vivo uptake in all Braak regions and distinct off-target signal. These preliminary results support the development of standardized quantification scales for tau deposition that are tracer-independent. Trial registration: AEMPS EudraCT 2021–000473-83. Equality, equity, and nondiscrimination are core human rights and prerequisites for peace, prosperity, and sustainability that require the commitment of all actors. They have received considerable attention from the European Union, leading to the development of a regulatory framework aimed at promoting gender diversity and the disclosure of information on diversity, equity, and inclusion by European companies. Considering the regulatory pressure from the institutional environment of the European Union that characterizes the period 2011–2020, this study aims to analyze the role played by female directors in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion disclosures of 189 large European companies. Based on international guidelines and recommendations as well as European legislation, we developed a transparency score that assesses the relevance, standardization, reliability, and completeness of the diversity, equity, and inclusion information disclosed by these companies. Using a Tobit regression approach for panel data, we show that board diversity has a positive effect on the information reported by European companies, although this effect is only associated with having at least three female directors or gender‐balanced boards. Moreover, the European institutional context in force since 2014 favors corporate transparency on equality, equity, and inclusiveness practices of European companies and encourages the consideration of the views of minority female directors. The results can improve the understanding of gender equality and corporate transparency regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion decisions made by companies in light of the advent of new mandatory requirements within the EU and the extension of their scope to a wider range of companies. Purpose: This study aims to test whether the perceptions of graduates of accounting-related degrees on the implications of companies' commitment to sustainable development strategies can be influenced by certain factors associated with their previous training and characteristics. Design/methodology/approach: The study is based on measuring and analyzing the assessment carried out by a sample of students graduating in degrees that include accounting subjects for five consecutive years, from 2016–2017 to 2020–2021, both inclusive. Nonparametric statistical tests are used to determine the type of association between the factors that characterize the graduates and their degree of agreement with the training they received and its relationship with their role in implementing corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability strategies in the company. Findings: The study's significant findings reveal that the respondents' perception of the training they received and their opinion of certain benefits provided by sustainable development and CSR strategies in organizations are positively related. This insight is crucial, as it suggests that the training graduates receive plays a pivotal role in shaping their understanding and support for sustainability. The respondents' opinions do not vary depending on their personal and/or work characteristics, except in the type of contract, as significant differences are observed between the self-employed and temporary or nonworking workers and between those with a permanent contract and those who are linked to the company with a temporary contract. Originality/value: In a field where most studies focus on employee–employer relationships and human resource management policies, this research stands out. It delves deeper, not just into employees' perception of sustainability but also into the causes of this perception. It explores what factors may be influencing employees' opinions on sustainability, and importantly, it extends this analysis to graduates who will be in charge of these issues. This work covers a significant gap in the research, incorporating the study of variables such as personal characteristics and work-related aspects of employees and the training received in accounting matters. A central assumption of conversation and multimodal analysts is that the participants have sensorial access to the acoustic features, most notably talk, of the studied interactions, which are available thanks to the recordings. If speakers stand in close proximity, a microphone is placed between or on one of them, and the analyst considers that the resulting recording captures the sound that is relevant both for the participants and for research purposes. The study of mobile and spatially distributed interactions comes with a challenge: If speakers are not spatially close but apart from each other, what is the relevant sound for the researcher to collect and examine? In this article, we show that prosodic, compositional and sequential features of the same segment of talk sound differently depending on the exact location of the hearer, or recording device, which is relevant for the analyst as well as for the participants. Our study was based on a corpus of hospital staff corridor interactions captured with a set-up composed of four video-cameras and eight wireless microphones operating simultaneously.
