Objective: To investigate the prevalence of exclusive breastfeeding (EA) and factors associated with its interruption among mothers of children from 0 to 6 months of age in the municipality of Santo Antônio de Jesus -BA. Method: Cross-sectional study with 278 mothers, attended in health units of the municipality. Data were collected through interviews. Through hierarchical multiple analysis, a crude and adjusted prevalence ratio (PR), and their respective confidence intervals (95% CI) were calculated. Results: The prevalence of exclusive breastfeeding was 39.6%. The variables race/skin color (nonblack), primiparity, absence of family support for breastfeeding, dissatisfaction during breastfeeding, and pacifier use were associated with interruption of the outcome. Conclusion: The frequency of exclusive breastfeeding was below the indicator recommended by the Ministry of Health. Among the factors that were associated with the interruption of exclusive breastfeeding are socioeconomic characteristics related to reproductive history and lifestyle, as well as conditions related to the child. More effective breastfeeding promotion measures are necessary to mitigate this outcome.

In the experience of the time called “updatism”, the future is nothing more than a new version of the present, as if the subject’s power of agency had decayed. This paper analyzes two actions that can help to attenuate this logic: the digitization of museum collections and the discussion about urban monuments. The hypothesis raised by us is that the virtualization of museums and the modification of monuments have potential as historical updates, as long as they comprehend, as well as the historiographical narrative, the legacies of the past and the projects for the future that are part of the present, aspiring to the defense of democratic values and a more egalitarian society. Finally, we concluded that a better understanding of the present and the renewal of an expectation of the future in which we are agents, and not just spectators, can be achieved through the historical narrative as a counter-updatism action, the incorporation of varied perceptions of the time in historiography and the opening of possibilities in the future. Na experiência de tempo atualista, o futuro nada mais é que uma nova versão do presente, como se o poder de agência dos sujeitos diminuísse. O presente artigo analisa dois tipos de ações que podem contribuir para o enfraquecimento de tal lógica: a preservação de acervos de museus através da digitalização e a discussão a respeito dos monumentos urbanos. A hipótese levantada é a de que a virtualização de museus e a modificação de monumentos possuem o potencial de atualizações históricas, desde que compreendam, assim como a narrativa historiográfica, os legados do passado e os projetos de futuro que fazem parte do presente, visando à defesa de valores democráticos e de uma sociedade mais igualitária. Conclui-se, por fim, que uma melhor compreensão do presente e a renovação de uma expectativa de futuro na qual sejamos agentes, e não apenas espectadores, pode ser alcançada através da narrativa histórica como ação contra-atualista, da incorporação de variadas percepções do tempo na historiografia e da abertura de possibilidades no futuro.

The Mariana Music Museum was founded in the 1970s, by archbishop Dom Oscar de Oliveira, in the city of Mariana, Minas Gerais. From its birth in the Ecclesiastical Archive to its organization in its own building with exhibition rooms and the use of the Internet to preserve and make part of its collection available, in each occupied space the Museum was resignified. Thinking about the concepts of “spaces of remembrance”, by Aleida Assmann, and the definition of space as “practiced place” given by Michel de Certeau, we intend to demonstrate how the Mariana Music Museum pluralized its spaces, in order to continue a cultural memory project of the Archdiocesis of Mariana from the 1970s to the present day. To this end, sources such as the Museum's website and its Facebook page were analyzed, in addition to the newspaper “O Arquidiocesano”, whose main editor was the founder of the Museum of Music. O Museu da Música de Mariana foi fundado nos anos 1970, pelo arcebispo Dom Oscar de Oliveira, na cidade de Mariana, Minas Gerais. Desde seu nascimento, no Arquivo Eclesiástico, até a sua organização em um prédio próprio, com salas de exposição e o uso da Internet para preservar e disponibilizar parte do seu acervo, em cada espaço ocupado o Museu se ressignificava. Pensando nos conceitos de “espaço de recordação”, de Aleida Assmann, e na definição de espaço como “lugar praticado” dada por Michel de Certeau, pretendemos demonstrar como o Museu da Música de Mariana pluralizou os seus espaços, de forma a dar continuidade a um projeto de memória cultural da Arquidiocese de Mariana dos anos 1970 aos dias de hoje. Para tal, foram analisadas fontes como o site do Museu e sua página do Facebook, além do jornal “O Arquidiocesano”, cujo principal redator era o fundador do Museu da Música.

Querido(a) leitor(a), esta dissertação pretende ativar algo que chamo de “arquivos de frequentação” para explorar a seguinte questão: Que pode a operação com arquivos de frequentação em uma pesquisa entre docência e arte? A ideia de “frequentação” é algo que venho mobilizando há algum tempo, tem a ver com uma atitude enquanto aluna, professora e pesquisadora, uma postura inventiva (KASTRUP, 2007), à espreita (DELEUZE; PARNET, 1998) e disponível ao que vier. Os arquivos de frequentação são oriundos de contextos de formação inicial, continuada e do campo profissional. São a trama de fios vitais (INGOLD, 2012) da vida docente que energiza a pesquisa: sensações, restos, rascunhos, memórias, esboços, encontros, imagens, sons, sabores, entre outras coisas que são postas sobre a mesa em tensionamento, diálogo e complementariedade (MOSSI, 2015). A ativação de arquivos é meu artifício para transitar entre docência e arte, numa pesquisa bricoleur que se constitui por experimentações, sobras e achados. Interessa um ‘eu’ menor, uma educação menor (GALLO, 2017) e um modo “vira-lata” (BALDISSEROTO, 2018) de existência. Ao acionar um modo vira-lata de manipular os arquivos de frequentação e transitar pelo campo, pretende-se modular esses materiais em uma produção de sentidos singular e nutrida por experimentações do Comum (MORAES; PARRA, 2020). Tais experimentações, somadas às modulações dos arquivos resultaram em uma série de invencionários, que são produtos e produtores da pesquisa e das suas linhas de continuidade. Dear reader, this dissertation intends to activate something I call “frequentation files" to explore the following question: What can the operation with frequentation files do in a research between teaching and art? The idea of “frequentation” is something I have been mobilizing for some time, it has to do with an attitude as a student, teacher and researcher, an inventive posture (KASTRUP, 2007), on the lookout (DELEUZE; PARNET, 1998) and available to whatever come. The frequentation files come from the initial and continuing education and professional experience. They are the web of vital threads (INGOLD, 2012) of the teaching life that energizes the research: sensations, remains, sketches, memories, encounters, images, sounds, flavors, among other things that are put on the table in tension, dialogue and complementarity (MOSSI, 2015). The activation of archives is my artifice to move between teaching and art, in a bricoleur research that consists of experimentations, leftovers and findings. What matters is a smaller 'me', a smaller education (GALLO, 2017) and a “mutt” way (BALDISSEROTO, 2018) of existence. By activating a "mutt" way of manipulating the files of frequentation and transiting through the theoretical field, it is intended to modulate these materials into a production of singular meanings, nourished by experimentations in the Common (MORAES; PARRA, 2020). Such experimentations, added to the modulations of the archives, resulted in a series of “invencionários”, which are products and producers of the research and its lines of continuity.

A presente dissertação procura compreender como o avanço da tecnologia, assim como o interesse da população em geral e dos acadêmicos em relação à memória cultural, contribuiu para uma pluralização dos meios de memória, transformando diferentes mídias não apenas em um meio de comunicação das memórias abordadas, mas também em objetos de museu. Com esta finalidade, tomaremos o Museu da Música de Mariana como objeto de análise. Sua fundação se deu no contexto da criação de outros museus em Mariana e Ouro Preto, nos anos 70, durante o arcebispado de Dom Oscar de Oliveira – figura importante também para o Museu de Arte Sacra e fundador do Museu do Livro. Embora a coleção das partituras seja organizada, preservada e exposta em um museu, em alguns momentos a instituição parece se identificar mais com um arquivo. Assim, a identidade desta instituição como museu envolve também o uso de diversos meios de memória, como performances, áudios, vídeos e publicações na Internet, a fim de ampliar o seu significado social. Através da execução das músicas do acervo, de cursos de musicalização, da divulgação de histórias a respeito de compositores e peças musicais através do Facebook, da disponibilização de parte do acervo online, o museu busca difundir uma memória cultural da música produzida em Minas Gerais nos séculos XVIII, XIX e XX, em especial a música sacra católica. Assim, a memória que antes tinha como meio apenas os manuscritos musicais, ao longo do tempo ganhou novos suportes e novos meios. A pluralização dos meios de memória ocorrida na trajetória do Museu da Música de Mariana, desde a sua fundação até o uso da Internet, nos permite refletir sobre as possibilidades de trabalhar com memórias em através de vários meios, e pensar se estes meios realmente favorecem a experiência do passado no tempo presente, produzindo alguma forma de presença. The present dissertation aims to understand how the advancement of technology, as well as the interest of the population in general and of the scholars in relation to cultural memory, has contributed to a pluralization of the mediums of memory, transforming different media not only into a means of communication of these memories, but also in museum objects. Therefore, we will take the Museu da Música de Mariana (Mariana Music Museum) as an object of analysis. Its founding took place in the context of the creation of other museums in Mariana and Ouro Preto in the 1970s, under the archbishop Dom Oscar de Oliveira - an important figure also for the Museu de Arte Sacra (Museum of Sacred Art) and founder of the Museu do Livro (Museum of Books). Although the collection of music sheets is organized, preserved and exhibited in a museum, sometimes the institution seems to be more like an archive. Thus, the identity of this institution as a museum also involves the use of different mediums of memory, such as performances, audios, videos and publications on the Internet, in order to broaden its social meaning. Through the execution of the music of the collection, musicalization courses, the dissemination of stories about composers and musical pieces through Facebook, the availability of the digitalized collection, the museum seeks to disseminate a cultural memory of the music produced in Minas Gerais in eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries, especially the Catholic sacred music. Thus, the memory that previously had only musical manuscripts as medium, over time has gained new supports and new means. The pluralization of mediums of memory in the Museu da Música de Mariana's history, from its foundation to the use of the Internet, allows us to reflect on the possibilities of working with memories through different media, and to think if these media really allow an experience of the past in the present time, producing some form of presence.
