Se evaluó el incremento del peso en las postlarvas de Litopenaeus vannamei alimentadas con las dietas experimentales: OL, a base del oligoqueto Pontodrilus litoralis, ISO constituida por el isópodo Tylos wegeneri y OLI, la mezcla de estos organismos, más la dieta comercial K, que sirvió de control. A éstas se les analizó lípidos, proteínas y carbohidratos como sustratos energéticos más importantes. Se realizó un diseño aleatorio con tres réplicas por dietas y 30 postlarvas por litro (pls/l) por cada unidad experimental, las cuales se les suministró una ración alimenticia del 15% de su biomasa, tres veces al día (0700, 1300 y 1900 h) por dos meses. A los 60 días del experimento, el peso promedio de las postlarvas alimentadas con la dieta K fue de 55,41 mg, lo que demuestra la calidad de esta dieta comparada con las experimentales, de éstas OLI fue la mejor, ya que las postlarvas adquirieron pesos promedios de 30,86 mg, en comparación con aquellas que se les suministró OL e ISO que presentaron pesos de 12,92 y 14,02 mg, respectivamente. También se extrajeron quincenalmente 30 postlarvas por unidad experimental y se les realizó análisis de varianza doble, concluyéndose que existen diferencias altamente significativas entre las dietas, los períodos quincenales y de éstos con las dietas, formándose tres grupos en la prueba a posteriori de Duncan: K, OLI y OL-ISO. Se comprobó la potencialidad de las dietas experimentales como alimento de postlarvas, resaltando OLI que probablemente, al ser enriquecida podría llegar a cubrir completamente los requerimientos nutricionales de postlarvas de L. vannamei.

The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) stands as Russia’s most extensive administrative region. However, the logistics system in Yakutia faces significant challenges stemming from issues of accessibility, climatic conditions, and regulatory constraints. This study employs the Consistent Fuzzy Preference Relation (CFPR) method, providing a structured framework to prioritize key factors crucial for improving logistics decision-making. The findings reveal that the most prioritized factors were “national and regional financial support” (importance weight: 0.143) and “legislative and regulative support” (importance weight: 0.117), both falling under the principle factor category of “financial and legislative support.” By delineating industrial implications through the proposed decision-making strategies, this study offers a foundational reference for addressing the logistics landscape requirements, actionable by both government bodies and stakeholders.

The analysis of research trends in papers published in academic journals can help establish the identity of a field by discovering the research content and characteristics conducted from the past to the present. This study aimed to establish research trends among publications in the Asian Journal of Shipping and Logistics (AJSL). This study implemented the social network analysis (SNA) method using three approaches (degree centrality, closeness centrality, and betweenness centrality) to highlight the connections between research keywords published from 2009 to 2022. This study divided the publications into three periods (2009–2014, 2015–2018, and 2019–2022). The degree centrality analysis of SNA for the period 2009–2014 shows that the keywords “container shipping,” “logistics,” and “port” ranked first, second, and third, respectively. The analysis for 2015–2018 shows that the keywords “analytic hierarchy process,” “China,” and “logistics” ranked first, second, and third, respectively. Finally, the analysis for 2019–2022 shows that “DEA,” “Vietnam,” and “container terminal” ranked first, second, and third, respectively. It is noteworthy that attention in the final period switched from China to Vietnam.

In the Sakha Republic, aviation serves as the sole mode of year-round transportation, which is crucial for overcoming logistical challenges in remote areas of the region. This study utilizes DEA-SBM analysis to assess the efficiency of 21 airports in addressing issues within the Sakha Republic’s airport infrastructure. The study revealed that six airports achieved the highest efficiency score: Batagay Airport, Chulman Airport, Deputatsky Airport, Ust-Kuyga Airport, Ust-Nera Airport, and Yakutsk Airport. The findings highlight the potential of DEA-SBM analysis for airport operators and managers to evaluate input and output levels for enhanced operational efficiency.

Tiksi Port is a Russian seaport located on the Laptev Sea shore in the Central Arctic region and holds potential as a crucial and versatile hub for the improvement of the Eastern Arctic sector. It is one of the main ports on the Northern Sea Route and can potentially become the primary point for transporting various types of cargo. Currently, Tiksi Port is shallow and incapable of receiving large sea vessels and although it was initially equipped with handling equipment, signs of decline are visible. This study aims to identify the critical logistics elements of Tiksi Port and classify them according to their level of significance in vitalizing the logistics activities of the port for further practical use. Interpretive Structural Modelling and the Matrix of Cross Impacts Multiplication Applied to a Classification (MICMAC) method was used in this study. The study findings revealed ten factors that appeared at three levels of importance. According to the analysis results, “combating oil spills” was present at Level 3, which is the first and most fundamental level to be improved. Tiksi Port officials and government ministries can use these results as a reference for development and to support the establishment of a cost-effective and agile logistics system for related companies.

This study aimed to analyze the obstacles to lowering demurrage at a grain terminal. After conducting in-depth interviews with working-level staff in grain terminal, 12 factors were selected to derive key factors for reducing demurrage. The Consistent Fuzzy Preference Relations methodology, which can extract experts’ knowledge and experiences, was employed to rank the obstacles in lowering demurrage. The analysis showed that the number one factor was “inventory requirements of grain shippers” (with an importance of 0.097), followed by “capacity of storage facilities” and “port congestion” as the second and third factors, respectively. As for sub-factors, “climate (e.g., typhoon, rain, etc.)” and “ship size” were ranked 11th and 12th, respectively. The analysis indicates that experts recognized factors that can be changed by shippers and that are difficult to control as more important obstacles than cost-related factors. The findings of this study provide the working-staff of ports, grain terminals, and the government implications for reducing demurrage.
