Abstract Gastric cancer (GC) is a highly heterogeneous and aggressive malignant tumor that seriously affects the life safety of people all over the world. Its early manifestations are subtle. The present study aimed to investigate the clinical significance of serum lipid profiles, insulin resistance markers including the triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index and the atherosclerotic index (AI), in GC patients. A retrospective analysis encompassed 215 GC patients and 827 healthy individuals. The study results show that the total cholesterol, triglycerides, low-density lipoprotein, high-density lipoprotein levels, and the TyG index of GC patients were significantly lower than those of the control group before and after propensity score matching analysis. In the GC group, the levels of CEA, CA199, CA125, and CA724 tumor markers were higher than those in the healthy control group. Patients in advanced stages exhibited lower serum levels of serum lipids and TyG index compared to those in early stages. ROC analysis revealed that the TyG index, CA125, and CA199 combination yielded the highest positive prediction rate for GC at 98.6%. Abstract Background Laparoscopic colorectal surgery has been proved to have similar oncological outcomes with open surgery. Due to the lack of tactile perception, surgeons may have misjudgments in laparoscopic colorectal surgery. Therefore, the accurate localization of a tumor before surgery is important, especially in the early stages of cancer. Autologous blood was thought a feasible and safe tattooing agent for preoperative endoscopic localization but its benefits remain controversial. We therefore proposed this randomized trial to the accuracy and safety of autogenous blood localization in small, serosa-negative lesion which will be resected by laparoscopic colectomy. Methods The current study is a single-center, open-label, non-inferiority, randomized controlled trial. Eligible participants would be aged 18–80 years and diagnosed with large lateral spreading tumors that could not be treated endoscopically, malignant polyps treated endoscopically that required additional colorectal resection, and serosa-negative malignant colorectal tumors (≤ cT3). A total of 220 patients would be randomly assigned (1:1) to autologous blood group or intraoperative colonoscopy group. The primary outcome is the localization accuracy. The secondary endpoint is adverse events related to endoscopic tattooing. Discussion This trial will investigate whether autologous blood marker achieves similar localization accuracy and safety in laparoscopic colorectal surgery compared to intraoperative colonoscopy. If our research hypothesis is statistically proved, the rational introduction of autologous blood tattooing in preoperative colonoscopy can help improve identification of the location of tumors for laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery, performing an optimal resection, and minimizing unnecessary resections of normal tissues, thereby improving the patient’s quality of life. Our research data will also provide high quality clinical evidence and data support for the conduction of multicenter phase III clinical trials. Abstract Background Gastric cancer is a major public health problem worldwide. Social media has affected public’s daily lives in ways no one ever thought possible. Both TikoTok and its Chinese version Douyin are the most popular short video posting platform. This study aimed to evaluate the quality, accuracy, and completeness of videos for gastric cancer on TikTok and Douyin. Methods The terms “gastric cancer” was searched on TikTok in both English and Japanese, and on Douyin in Chinese. The first 100 videos in three languages (website’s default setting) were checked. QUality Evaluation Scoring Tool (QUEST) and DISCERN as the instrument for assessing the quality of the information in each video. Content was analysed under six categories (aetiology, anatomy, symptoms, preventions, treatments, and prognosis). The educational value and completeness were evaluated with a checklist developed by the researchers. Results A total of 78 videos in English, 63 in Japanese, and 99 in Chinese were analyzed. The types of sources were as follows: 6.4% in English, 4.8% in Japanese, and 57.6% in Chinese for health professionals; 93.6% in English, 95.2% in Japanese, and 3.0% in Chinese for private users; none in English and Japanese, but 39.4% in Chinese for other sources. In all, 20.5% in English, 17.5% in Japanese, and 93.9% in Chinese of videos had useful information about gastric cancer. Purpose. Our objective was to compare the value of positron emission tomography/magnetic resonance imaging (PET/MRI) with the new imaging agent [68Ga]Ga-DOTA-FAPI-04 and the traditional imaging agent [18F]FDG for the preoperative diagnosis of gastric cancer. Methods. Forty patients with gastric cancer diagnosed by gastroscopy in gastrointestinal surgery at our hospital from June 2020 to January 2021 were analyzed. All patients underwent simultaneous [68Ga]Ga-DOTA-FAPI-04 and [18F]FDG PET/MRI. The standard uptake value (SUV), fat removal standard uptake value (SUL), and diagnostic sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy for primary and metastatic lesions were compared, and their diagnostic value for different lymph node dissection stages was analyzed. Results. The median age of the patients in this cohort was 68 years. Twenty-nine patients underwent surgery, and 11 patients underwent gastroscopic biopsy. The SUVmax of primary lesions in the FDG group and the FAPI group was 5.74 ± 5.09 and 8.06 ± 4.88, respectively (P0.05). Conclusion. Compared with the traditional imaging agent, [68Ga]Ga-DOTA-FAPI-04 has better diagnostic efficiency but no substantial advantage for preoperative lymph node staging.

The complex pore throat characteristics are significant factors that control the properties of tight sandstone reservoirs. Due to the strong heterogeneity of the pore structure in tight reservoirs, it is difficult to characterize the pore structure by single methods. To determine the pore throat, core, casting thin sections, micrographs from scanning electron microscopy, rate-controlled mercury injection, and high-pressure mercury injection were performed in member 2 of Xujiahe Formation of Yingshan gasfield, Sichuan, China. The pore throat characteristics were quantitatively characterized, and the distribution of pore throat at different scales and its controlling effect on reservoir physical properties were discussed. The results show that there are mainly residual intergranular pores, intergranular dissolved pores, ingranular dissolved pores, intergranular pores, and micro-fractures in the second member of the Xujiahe Formation tight sandstone reservoir. The distribution range of pore throat is 0.018–10 μm, and the radius of pore throat is less than 1 μm. The ranges of pore radius were between 100 and 200 μm, the peak value ranges from 160 to 180 μm, and the pore throat radius ranges from 0.1 to 0.6 μm. With the increase of permeability, the distribution range of throat radius becomes wider, and the single peak throat radius becomes larger, showing the characteristic of right skew. The large throat of the sandy conglomerate reservoir has an obvious control effect on permeability, but little influence on porosity. The contribution rate of nano-sized pore throat to permeability is small, ranging from 3.29 to 34.67%. The contribution rate of porosity was 48.86–94.28%. Therefore, pore throat characteristics are used to select high-quality reservoirs, which can guide oil and gas exploration and development of tight sandstone reservoirs.

Background. Traditionally, serum CEA and CA19-9 levels are good prognostic factors for gastric cancer. Many gastric cancer patients do not have elevated CEA or CA19-9 levels even at a very advanced stage. This study investigates the significance of the modified Glasgow prognostic score (mGPS) for the survival of gastric cancer patients with normal CEA and CA19-9. Methods. We retrospectively examined 488 curatively resected gastric cancer patients with normal preoperative serum levels of CEA and CA19-9 to evaluate the prognostic ability of mGPS for overall survival. The prognostic significance was analyzed by univariate and multivariate analyses. Results. Age, hemoglobin, white cell count, and neutrophils were each significantly correlated with the mGPS. The operational quality evaluation of industry-finance integration enterprises under lean management accounting is a multiple-attribute decision-making (MADM). In this paper, some calculating laws on IVIFSs, Hamacher sum, Hamacher product are introduced, and the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy Hamacher interactive power averaging (IVIFHIPA) technique is proposed based on the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy (IVIF) Hamacher interactive weighted averaging (IVIFHIWA) technique and power average (PA) technique. Meanwhile, some ideal properties of IVIFHIPA technique are studied. Then, the IVIFHIPA technique is employed to cope with the MADM under IVIFSs. Finally, an example for operational quality evaluation of industry-finance integration enterprises under lean management accounting is employed to test the IVIFHIPA technique. Thus, the main research aim of this paper is concluded as follows: (1) the IVIFHIPA technique is constructed based on IVIFHIWA technique and classical power average (PA) technique; (2) the IVIFHIPA technique is put forward to cope with the MADM under IVIFSs; (3) an empirical example for operational quality evaluation of industry-finance integration enterprises under lean management accounting has been put forward to show the IVIFHIPA technique. The CDPK family genes play crucial roles in signal transduction pathways during plant development and stress response. In this study, we comprehensively analyzed the CDPK family genes in mustard (Brassica juncea L.), resulting in the identification of 101 genes (BjuCDPK1–101) located on chromosomes AA_Chr01 to BB_Chr08. RNA-seq analysis showed that most BjuCDPK genes were predominantly expressed in the root and flower bud, suggesting their organ-specific expression patterns. Furthermore, the expression levels of most BjuCDPK genes were significantly altered by cold stress. The promoter regions of BjuCDPK genes had abundant cis-acting elements related to hormones and stress. The interaction network analysis predicted that BjuCDPK proteins respond to abiotic stress probably via interaction with ABF1, ABF4, and/or DI19. EPAS1 (Endothelial PAS Domain Protein 1) gene is well-known for its function in plateau hypoxia adaptability. It encodes HIF-2α, which involved in the induction of genes regulated by oxygen and then affects multiple physiological processes such as angiogenesis and energy metabolism. All of these indicate it may affect the development of animals. In this study, a 14-bp deletion in EPAS1 gene was uncovered in Shandong black cattle population (n = 502). Two genotypes (II and ID) were found and the frequency of the homozygous II genotype is higher than the heterozygous ID genotype. This population is consisted with HWE (p > 0.05). And more importantly, the 14-bp deletion was associated with outside flat (p = 0.003), brisket (p = 0.001), and knuckle (p = 0.032). These findings suggested that the 14-bp deletion is significantly associated with carcass traits, which could be served as a molecular marker applied to cow breeding. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In the process of transformation of economic momentum, the digital transformation and upgrading of enterprises has become an inevitable trend. As an important human resource of enterprise operation and management, senior executives play an irreplaceable key role in the process of enterprise transformation and upgrading. therefores, A total of 2244 A-share listed companies in China from 2015 to 2019 are selected for panel data analysis to verify the influence of the level of executive compensation, characteristics of senior executives and quality of internal control. The results show that there is a correlation between the level of executive compensation and the quality of internal control, and the characteristics of senior executives have a partial moderating effect between the level of executive compensation and the quality of internal control, but this moderating effect is weak and may be negative.

The integrated energy system (IES) has the advantage of improving energy utilization and promoting energy flexibility. From the perspective of demand-side load response, this paper establishes demand-side power, thermal load response, and natural gas demand response models, and then constructs the objective function of the lowest operating cost of the regional IES for combined electric heating and gas supply, using Cplex to perform optimization. Finally, a typical northern park is taken as an example to analyze and verify the feasibility of the model and algorithm. The analysis of the case shows that considering the electric heating gas demand side response will be better than not considering or considering only the single and both responses, not only can reduce operating costs, achieve peak reduction and valley filling, but also reduce abandonment of wind and energy, and increase energy utilization rate.

As the physical carrier of the energy Internet, the integrated energy system has become the focus of current research. Considering the renewable energy and demand side load fluctuations, using the price type and the alternative demand side response characteristics, a day-ahead and intraday optimization scheduling model that takes into account the demand side response is established, in which the intraday, according to the difference of electricity, cold/heat and natural gas scheduling time, a three-layer rolling optimization scheduling model is proposed. The example analysis shows that this model can suppress the fluctuation of renewable energy and load in the day, improve the stability of the system, and further reduce the operating cost of the system.

The habenula has been implicated in the pathogenesis of pain and analgesia, while evidence concerning its function in chronic low back pain (cLBP) is sparse. This study aims to investigate the resting‐state functional connectivity (rsFC) and effective connectivity of the habenula in 52 patients with cLBP and 52 healthy controls (HCs) and assess the feasibility of distinguishing cLBP from HCs based on connectivity by machine learning methods. Our results indicated significantly enhanced rsFC of the habenula‐left superior frontal cortex (SFC), habenula‐right thalamus, and habenula‐bilateral insular pathways as well as decreased rsFC of the habenula‐pons pathway in cLBP patients compared to HCs. Dynamic causal modelling revealed significantly enhanced effective connectivity from the right thalamus to right habenula in cLBP patients compared with HCs. RsFC of the habenula‐SFC was positively correlated with pain intensities and Hamilton Depression scores in the cLBP group. RsFC of the habenula‐right insula was negatively correlated with pain duration in the cLBP group. Additionally, the combination of the rsFC of the habenula‐SFC, habenula‐thalamus, and habenula‐pons pathways could reliably distinguish cLBP patients from HCs with an accuracy of 75.9% by support vector machine, which was validated in an independent cohort (N = 68, accuracy = 68.8%, p =.001). Linear regression and random forest could also distinguish cLBP and HCs in the independent cohort (accuracy = 73.9 and 55.9%, respectively). Overall, these findings provide evidence that cLBP may be associated with abnormal rsFC and effective connectivity of the habenula, and highlight the promise of machine learning in chronic pain discrimination. The thyroid stimulating hormone receptor (TSHR), a glycoprotein hormone receptor, plays an important role in metabolic regulation and photoperiod control in the time of reproduction in birds and mammals. Previous genome-wide association studies revealed that the TSHR gene was related to reproduction and its function was identified in female reproduction, but rare studies reported the polymorphism of TSHR gene. However, the molecular mutations of the TSHR gene in sheep have not been reported so far. Herein, we explored potential polymorphisms of the sheep TSHR gene, and a 29 bp nucleotide sequence variant (rs1089565492) was identified in the AUW sheep. There were three genotypes of the 29 bp variant locus detected which named 'II' 'DD' and 'ID' been identified. Association analysis results showed the 29 bp variant was significantly associated with the litter size of the AUW sheep (p < 0.05). This finding suggests that the 29 bp nucleotide sequence variant within TSHR gene could be a candidate marker of reproduction traits for sheep breeding improving through the marker-assisted selection (MAS).
