We present physical models, i.e. convex shapes, directions of the rotation axis, and sidereal rotation periods, of 18 asteroids out of which 10 are new models and 8 are refined models based on much larger data sets than in previous work. The models were reconstructed by the lightcurve inversion method from archived publicly available lightcurves and our new observations with BlueEye600 robotic observatory. One of the new results is the shape model of asteroid (1663)~van~den~Bos with the rotation period of 749\,hr, which makes it the slowest rotator with known shape. We describe our strategy for target selection that aims at fast production of new models using the enormous potential of already available photometry stored in public databases. We also briefly describe the control software and scheduler of the robotic observatory and we discuss the importance of building a database of asteroid models for studying asteroid physical properties in collisional families.

Extensive observations of comet 260P (McNaught) were carried out between August 2012 and January 2013. The images obtained were used to analyze the inner coma morphology of the comet at resolutions ranging from 250 to about 1000 km/pixel. A deep investigation of the dust features in the inner coma allowed us to identify only a single main active source on the nucleus of the comet, at an estimated latitude of -50 deg +/-15 deg. A thorough analysis of the appearance and of the motion of the morphological structures, supported by graphic simulations of the geometrical conditions of the observations, allowed us to determine a pole orientation located within a circular spot of a 15 deg-radius centered at RA=60 deg, Dec=0 deg. The rotation of the nucleus seems to occur on a single axis and is not chaotic, furthermore no precession effects could be estimated from our measurements. The comet's spin axis never reached the plane of the sky from October 2012 to January 2013; during this period it did not change its direction significantly (less than 30 deg), thus giving us the opportunity to observe mainly structures such as bow-shaped jets departing from the single active source located on the comet's nucleus. Only during the months of August 2012 and January 2013 the polar axis was directed towards the Earth at an angle of about 45 deg from the plane of the sky; this made it possible to observe the development of faint structures like fragments of shells or spirals. Extensive observations of comet C/2004 Q2 (Machholz) were carried out between August 2004 and May 2005. The images obtained were used to investigate the comet's inner coma features at resolutions between 350 and 1500 km/pixel. A photometric analysis of the dust outflowing from the comet's nucleus and the study of the motion of the morphological structures in the inner coma indicated that the rotation period of the nucleus was most likely around 0.74 days. A thorough investigation of the inner coma morphology allowed us to observe two main active sources on the comet's nucleus, at a latitude of +85{\deg} \pm 5{\deg} and +45{\deg} \pm 5{\deg}, respectively. Further sources have been observed, but their activity ran out quite rapidly over time; the most relevant was at latcom. = 25{\deg} \pm 5{\deg}. Graphic simulations of the geometrical conditions of observation of the inner coma were compared with the images and used to determine a pole orientation at RA=95{\deg} \pm 5{\deg}, Dec=+35{\deg} \pm 5{\deg}.
