Purpose: The anatomy of the extraocular rectus muscle insertions is clinically relevant in the field of ophthalmology. This descriptive cadaveric study determines the relative degree orientation of the superior, lateral, and inferior rectus muscles with respect to the medial rectus and investigates the distances between the rectus muscle insertions. Method: Thirty cadavers (50% female, mean age = 81.86 years, SD 12.16) were included for a total of 60 eyes. For each eye, a lateral canthotomy and cantholysis were performed followed by a peritomy. Muscle hooks were then used to access and isolate the rectus muscles. The degree orientation was determined by marking the muscle midpoints at insertion, using the center of the cornea as the vertex, and measuring the angle with the Angle Meter 360 application (© Alexey Kozlov) (Figure 1). The distances between rectus muscles were measured from the same muscle midpoints using calipers. Results: The degree orientations with respect to the medial rectus are displayed in Figure 2 and were as follows: superior rectus (mean = 93.14, SD = 3.04, min. 82.3, max. 100.3), lateral rectus (mean = 180.21, SD = 5.65, min. 170.5, max. 190.6), and inferior rectus (mean = 90.57, SD = 4.47, min. 84.0, max. 98.9). The distances (measured in mm) between rectus muscle midpoints at insertion included medial rectus to inferior rectus (mean = 13.64, SD = 0.54), inferior rectus to lateral rectus (mean = 13.79, SD = 0.75), lateral rectus to superior rectus (mean = 13.54, SD = 0.63), and superior rectus to medial rectus (mean = 13.83, SD = 0.75). The relative distances between the midpoints of the extraocular muscles observed in males versus females showed statistically significant differences in medial rectus to inferior rectus (13.8 vs. 13.5, p = .01), inferior rectus to lateral rectus (14.1 vs. 13.5, p = .03), and superior rectus to medial rectus (14.0 vs. 13.5, p = .04), respectively (Table 1). Conclusion: This is an important study of the extraocular muscle degree orientation performed with an innovative measuring approach. A theoretical inquiry delves into the presence of multiple solitons and breather configurations within a nonuniform, inhomogeneous, unmagnetized dusty plasma characterized by universally polarized force. This system encompasses ions, electrons, positively and negatively charged dust particles, distributed in accordance with a superthermal distribution. Employing the reductive perturbation technique (RPT), the Gardner equation (GE) is derived from the fundamental hydrodynamical model equations. The multi-solitons of the GE are synthesized utilizing the Hirota bilinear method (HBM), which further facilitates the exploration of breather solutions via the appropriate selection of complex wave numbers. The system exhibits both compressive and rarefactive multi-solitons. Moreover, the behavior of breather structures varies depending on associated plasma parameters; occasionally, they overlap, while at other times, they remain entirely disjoint. This research holds relevance for investigating the propagation of finite-amplitude waves in natural phenomena such as the atmosphere, oceans, optic fibers, and signal processing. Figures display the interaction between two-solitons (a), and breather structures (b), of the Gardner equation in dusty plasma with polarized force for the parameter values k i = 5 , k e = 2.5 , μ i = 0.7 , μ e = 0.3 , μ = 10 , ρ = 1.01 , σ i = 0.1 , R = 0.5 , Z = 0.01 , respectively. The manuscript presents some graphs to illustrate the propagation and interaction between two-soliton solutions, as well as the propagation of various breather structures in dusty plasma under polarized force. The diversity in two-solitons and breather structures depends on the plasma parameter and the choice of wave number, real or complex. This article presents a 3.5 GHz rectangular microstrip patch antenna (RMPA) designed, studied, and analyzed for wireless LAN applications. Using Fr-4 as substrate material, whose dielectric permittivity is 4.3, patch thickness is 1.65 mm, and loss tangent is 0.025. A feeding line with an impedance of 50 Ω is utilized to supply the antenna with power. Computer simulation technology (CST) software has been used to design the antenna and origin pro software has been used to display the resulting figures from the simulation. The antenna simulation showed that the return loss is -56.82 dB; the directivity gain is 6.02 dBi, the bandwidth is 0.148 GHz, and the voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) is 1.0028. The paper aims to increase the return loss, develop a standard VSWR, increase the directivity gain of the antenna, and improve the antenna bandwidth. The results of the proposed antenna were much better than previously published papers, which were suitable for wireless applications. Process capability indices have been extensively employed to assess process performance in order to drive ongoing enhancements in quality and productivity, where the larger, the better for these lifetime performance indices. For multiple production lines, an overall lifetime performance index is proposed and the relationship between the overall lifetime performance index and the individual lifetime performance index is displayed. For products with lifetimes following the Weibull distribution for the ith production line, the maximum likelihood estimator and asymptotic distribution for the individual lifetime performance index were investigated so that the maximum likelihood estimator and asymptotic distribution for the overall lifetime performance index were also derived. Based on the pre-assigned target value of the overall lifetime performance index, the target value of an individual lifetime performance index could be determined. To test whether the overall lifetime performance index reached the target value was equivalent to testing whether the individual lifetime performance index reached the corresponding target value. The testing procedure based on the maximum likelihood estimator is given in this paper and the analysis of test power is displayed by figures. This is a protocol for an overview to summarize the findings of Systematic Reviews (SR) dealing with Photodynamic Inactivation (PDI) for control of oral diseases. Specific variables of oral infectious will be considered as outcomes, according to dental specialty. Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews (CDSR), MEDLINE, LILACS, Embase, and Epistemonikos will be searched, as well as reference lists. A search strategy was developed for each database using only terms related to the intervention (PDI) aiming to maximize sensitivity. After checking for duplicate entries, selection of reviews will be performed in a two-stage technique: two authors will independently screening titles and abstracts, and then full texts will be assessed for inclusion/exclusion criteria. Any disagreement will be resolved through discussion and/or consultation with a third reviewer. Data will be extracted following the recommendations in Chapter V of Cochrane Handbook and using an electronic pre-specified form. The evaluation of the methodological quality and risk of bias (RoB) of the SR included will be carried out using the AMSTAR 2 and ROBIS. Narrative summaries of relevant results from the individual SR will be carried out and displayed in tables and figures. A specific summary will focus on PDI parameters and study designs, such as the type and concentration of photosensitizer, pre-irradiation time, irradiation dosimetry, and infection or microbiological models, to identify the PDI protocols with clinical potential. Despite decades of directed efforts gender equality is still a challenge in many university level STEM institutions. Key reasons for this are found in disciplinary and institutional cultures. A crucial cultural element is professional identity. In this article, an ethnographic study of a gender equality program in a technical university in Sweden underpins the identification of a professional identity that we name: the 'sole engineering genius'. This cultural figure displays features that run counter to measures promoting gender equality. As a component of engineering faculty's self-perception as well as views of others, this figure provides rationales for rejecting the changes required to end gender inequality. Against the backdrop of research literature, we argue that this professional identity is not a local or national phenomenon, but likely a key factor in academic engineering culture transnationally that may continue to undermine gender equality strategies in STEM institutions. The structural complexity of glycans is communicated through simplified and unified visual representations according to the Symbol Nomenclature for Glycans (SNFGs) guidelines adopted by the community. Here, we introduce GlycoDraw, a Python-native implementation for high-throughput generation of high-quality, SNFG-compliant glycan figures with flexible display options. GlycoDraw is released as part of our glycan analysis ecosystem, glycowork, facilitating integration into existing workflows by enabling fully automated annotation of glycan-related figures and thus assisting the analysis of e.g. differential abundance data or glycomics mass spectra. This article is basically concerned with the stability and Hopf bifurcation problem of fractional-order three-triangle multi-delayed neural networks. Based on laplace transform, we obtain the characteristic equation of the considered fractional-order three-triangle multi-delayed neural networks. By discussing the distribution of the roots for the characteristic equation, the delay-independent stability condition and delay-induced bifurcation criterion are built. The research manifests that time delay is an important factor which affects the stability and the onset of Hopf bifurcation for fractional-order three-triangle multi-delayed neural networks. The computer simulation results and bifurcation figures are displayed to support the established main conclusions. In this article, we examine the Kraenkel–Manna–Merle system (KMMS) with an M-truncated derivative (MTD). Our goal is to obtain rational, hyperbolic, and trigonometric solutions by using the F -expansion technique with the Riccati equation. To our knowledge, no one has studied the exact solutions to the KMMS in the presence/absence of a damping effect with an M-truncated derivative, using the F -expansion technique. The magnetic field propagation in a zero-conductivity ferromagnet is described by the KMMS; hence, solutions to this equation may provide light on several fascinating scientific phenomena. Half-Heusler alloys are among the most promising thermoelectric materials. In the present review, thermoelectric properties (at 300 K and 800 K) of more than 1100 compositions from more than 220 publications between 1998 and 2023 were collected and evaluated. The dependence of the peak figure of merit, ZTmax, of p- and n-type half-Heusler alloys on the publishing year and the peak temperature is displayed in several figures. Furthermore, plots of ZT vs. the electrical resistivity, the Seebeck coefficient and the thermal conductivity at 300 K and 800 K are shown and discussed. Especially thermal conductivity vs. power factor leads to a good overview of ZT. For both p- and n-type individually separated into systems, ZTs and peak ZTs in dependence on the composition are displayed and discussed. The k-out-of-n system is a widely used concept in various fields. The significance of this system lies in its ability to ensure reliability, safety, and continuity of operation in various settings, including home appliances, military equipment, communication networks, and manufacturing systems. The system consists of two subsystems, each of which employs the kout-of-n: G scheme. Our aim is to estimate the performance of a system that implements a k-out-of-n: G scheme with a controller using Copula's properties. This system is susceptible to two types of failures; partial and complete failures. If the system fails partially, it is repaired using General repair techniques while completely failed state is repaired using Copula repair techniques. The system is investigated using supplementary variable techniques and the Laplace transformation to obtain explicit expressions for availability, reliability, mean time to failure (MTTF), sensitivity, and expected profit functions, all of which are numerically validated. The outcomes/results are displayed in tables and figures, enabling us to draw the appropriate conclusions and offer recommendations. On the basis of numerical results, the conclusions were drawn. In this investigation, an appropriate traveling wave transformation has been employed to analyze the fourth-order nonlinear (3+1)-dimensional generalized Kadomtsev–Petviashvili–Benjamin–Bona–Mahony (KP-BBM) equation for an offshore structure. In addition to being integrable and having constant coefficients, the examined model represents fluid flow in the context of an offshore structure. The aforesaid nonlinear system is subjected to the initial application of two trustworthy and dependable approaches, namely the improved Bernoulli sub-equation function method and the modified extended -function method. Investigating and obtaining certain explicitly exact traveling waves, periodic waves, and soliton solutions is the major objective. The generated solutions take the form of trigonometric hyperbolic functions, exponential functions, rational functions, and multiple forms of trigonometric functions. The proposed solutions are both novel and important in that they provide light on the relevant aspects of the physical phenomena. Government capacity and mandate responsiveness in Germany" by Guinaudeau and Guinaudeau in the European Journal of Political Research contains several corrections. This study aimed at investigating the biomechanics of sperm swimming through a passive channel. The spermatozoa are modeled as a Taylor's swimming sheet which is immersed in a viscoelastic Ellis fluid. A typical small size of microorganisms and their swimming protocol lead to negligible internal forces (or dominant viscous forces). The constitutive equations of sperm-driven flow are derived by employing the creeping flow and long-wavelength approximation. For some initial guesses of a flow rate and a swimming speed, the reduced differential equation is numerically solved via the MATLAB routine bvp5c for large values of the pertinent parameters. To find the unknowns (flow rate and sperm speed), Broyden's algorithm is employed in such a way that refines values of flow rate and swimming speed satisfying the dynamic equilibrium conditions. Using these refined values, one gets the energy diminution. The swimming speed, flow rate, power expended by the swimmer, streamlines pattern and velocity profiles are displayed in graphical figures. Objectified under the male gaze, her vulva faces the viewer, her inspirational force born through the birth of Pegasus even as she is crushed in rape and death. The mythic Medusa and vulva display women persistently retain their hold on the male unconscious in rising above castigation, asserting their amazing procreative force over life and death, enabled through Medusa's stunning tale and transfixing gaze. Purpose: The aim of this study is to investigate the co-occurrence of keywords related to the sustainable development of libraries. VOSviewer, one of the analysis tools used in this paper, can assess complex networks depending on the degree of connectedness between projects. The concept of sustainable library development is gaining popularity all over the world, and keyword co-occurrence analysis is an effective method for determining how certain research trends are developing fields. In addition, efforts are made to calculate the growth rate of literature, look at the top 10 publishers, nations, and languages with the highest number of pieces. Methodology: Every piece of writing on sustainable development that was published between 2001 and 2020 is included in this study. Data are gathered via the Web of Science (WoS) database. The statistically examined data were presented along with analyses, conclusions, and interpretations in both graphical and written representations. Data analysis and the presentation of statistical information are done using Vosviewer, Microsoft Word, Excel, and the results are displayed in the form of figure, tables, charts, and bar graphs. Findings: In the period from 2001 to 2020, the growth rate of papers rises. The data show that 138 publications, or 16.99%, were published in 2020. The People's Republic of China has the most library publications on the topic of sustainable development of libraries, and Elsevier topped the list of the top 10 publishers with 184 articles. Most of the material is written in English language. While creating maps of co-occurrence of keyword using VOSviewer, terms like "identification," "sustainability," "expression," "sustainable development," and "libraries" appear more frequently. Originality: The data used to determine the output of literature about the sustainable development of libraries was taken from Web of Science, one of the biggest and most reliable databases. The information is unique and has not been published anywhere else. This paper will give readers knowledge of the literary productivity, the top 10 countries, and the languages with the most articles and graphical illustrations of the co-occurrence of keywords. Mohamed Chukri (1935-2003) is a prime mediterranean writer of the autobiographical genre. Chukri's autobiographical trilogy and other literary works have been translated to English, French, and Spanish. Thus, this has allowed a wide range of exposure to international literary criticism. This article scrutinizes Mohamed Chukri's journal (in the summer of 1973). This writing practice is analogous to a couple of parallel slants. On one side, there is this nocturnality linked to a drifting flâneur writing practice. On the other side, there is this notorious grieving aura preceded from a futile scene. Nonetheless, Chukri's odyssey wouldn't be feasible in the lack of the American writer Tennessee Williams' conveying of ideas. As other figures display in this text, their portraits are not oblivious of Morocco's historic-political setting; as well as the post-war period in Tangier. The aim of this study is to reveal the meanings that fourth grade students in elementary school attach to the four operation symbols (+, -, x, :) that are abstract, in different representations. The pattern of the study is a case study of qualitative research methods. In the study, the evaluation tool developed by the researchers was applied to elementary school fourth grade students. It was tried to present the situations of writing a mathematical sentence and expressing terms, formulating a problem, displaying the problem with a figure/diagram from students related to the symbols (+, -, x, :) for four processing skills. Based on the findings obtained in the study, it is seen that students attach concept and operation meanings to four operation symbols (+, -, x, :), create more routine word story problems related to symbols, and are more successful in writing a mathematical sentence appropriate for the problem they are writing than drawing a figure/diagram. In addition, it can be said that students made mistakes throughout the process from a linguistic point of view in terms of; using punctuations correctly, writing letters, numbers, units and expressions correctly, naming terms, and legible and understandable writing. In this study, the explicit finite difference method is used to solve the fractional-order pseudo-hyperbolic telegraph partial differential equation by means of Caputo fractional derivative. A first-order finite difference approach is constructed for fractional order pseudo-hyperbolic telegraph partial differential equations. The difference scheme technique's stability estimate for the presented problem is given. The test problem is provided as an application. A comparison of the exact and approximate solutions is offered to determine the correctness and effectiveness of the suggested method. Finally, a graphical representation of the exact and approximate solutions in various cases is presented. Across six studies, a female mannequin is demonstrated to have negative implications for both male and female consumers low in appearance self-esteem. In particular, consumers who are lower in appearance self-esteem evaluate a product displayed by a mannequin more negatively as compared with consumers higher in appearance self-esteem. As mannequins signal the normative standard of beauty and consumers with low self-esteem in regard to their appearance believe they fail to meet this standard, these consumers become threatened by the beauty standard when exposed to a mannequin and in response denigrate the product the mannequin is displaying. We provide evidence for the underlying process in three ways: 1) through the finding that the effect for male and female consumers with low appearance self-esteem arises only when the mannequin is displaying an appearance-related product, 2) through mediation analysis demonstrating that the mannequin conveys society's standard of beauty and that this negatively impacts product evaluations, and 3) through mitigation of the effect by removing the presence of threat via a self-affirmation task or decreasing the mannequin's beauty (e.g., marking its face, removing its hair, or removing its head). The article explains the functioning of the dominant discourse and its system of references in Macario (El llano en llamas, 1953) by Juan Rulfo (1917-1986). It proposes a reading of the story as an allegory of the domination of a dictatorship and the state of alienation suffered by the Mexican people during the period immediately preceding the Mexican Revolution (1910). To achieve this purpose, the socio-semiotic status of the speaking subject and the convergence network of the signs that define it are widely analyzed. Thus, it is possible to highlight a precise codification of social elaborations in the discursive structure, which permeates the perception displayed by the figure of the subject of the enunciation. In this paper, an extended (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger equation is studied. By using similarity transformation, some exact solutions of this equation are obtained, which include soliton solutions and periodic function solutions, its nonlinear spatial modulation and external potential are affected by time and space. In 1905, the collection of life-sized figures of combatants from various historical periods which had been assembled by the collector of military memorabilia Karl Gimbel (1862--1902) in Baden-Baden was loaned for display on the Marksburg on the occasion of a visit by Kaiser Wilhelm II, and in 1908 it was acquired by the Burgenvereinigung. The collection is of great significance for cultural history, partly -- but not only -- on account of the exceptional quality of craftsmanship of the exhibits, and it is extremely fortunate that the collection has been preserved relatively complete for more than 120 years. Each figure stands for an important stage in the development of armour and hand weapons in Europe from Antiquity to the early modern era. The armour and the weapons are copies based on historical sources in the form of paintings and sculptures or else on actual original pieces; in a few cases, original items were also incorporated into the collection. At first, the figures were displayed at miscellaneous locations in the museum spaces of the castle; later, the collection was brought together in a single space in order to do justice to its didactic character. Its reception -- and its recent restoration -- have bene- fited from the fact that, in 1902, Gimbel published photographs of all the figures in a lavish volume which also contained brief descriptions. As the figures were urgently in need of restoration by the beginning of the new millennium, it was decided to undertake an appropriate programme so as to return it to its original state, in which it had exemplified historicism. The measures taken by the Federal Government under the Investment Programme for National UNESCO World Heritage Sites have ensured that this unique record of cultural history can not only be preserved in an appropriate condition but can also continue to fulfil its true didactic purpose on the Marksburg. Electrokinetic microperistaltic pumps are important biomechanical devices that help target drug delivery to specific body parts. The current study focuses on the mathematical modelling and analysis of some important aspects of such flows in a channel with complex waves. It is considered that solid particles are uniformly distributed in the flow, and that these particles are non-conducting. Parameters such as the particle volume fraction coefficient, electro-osmotic parameter, and Helmholtz–Smoluchowski parameter are specifically focused on in this study. Equally sized spherical particles were uniformly floated in a non-Newtonian Powell–Eyring base fluid. The defined flow problem was modelled and analyzed analytically for the transport of a solid–liquid suspension. It is accepted that the flow is steady, non-turbulent, and propagating waves have a considerably longer wavelength compared to the amplitude. The conditions and assumptions lead to a model of the coupled partial differential equations of order two. The exact results of the homotopy perturbation method expansion method are obtained and shown accordingly. Predictions of the behavior of important parameters are displayed in the figures. The impact of several parameters was analyzed. The current study involved transporting or targeted drug delivery systems using peristaltic micropumps and magnetic fields in the pharmacological engineering of biofluids, such as blood. In this study, the fourth-order compact finite difference scheme combined with Richardson extrapolation for solving the 1D Fisher's equation is presented. First, the derivative involving the space variable is discretized by the fourth-order compact finite difference method. Then, the nonlinear term is linearized by the lagging method, and the derivative involving the temporal variable is discretized by the Crank–Nicolson scheme. The method is found to be unconditionally stable and fourth-order accurate in the direction of the space variable and second-order accurate in the direction of the temporal variable. When combined with the Richardson extrapolation, the order of the method is improved from fourth to sixth-order accurate in the direction of the space variable. The numerical results displayed in figures and tables show that the proposed method is efficient, accurate, and a good candidate for solving the 1D Fisher's equation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Medical disciplines need to be aware of the vital and life-saving measures of individuals and patients; Therefore, all of them must be properly trained in CPR and master it. The aim of this study was to compare endotracheal intubation training on mannequins and normal patients in anesthesia students. This descriptive study was conducted in 2018 with the participation of 40 sixth semester students of anesthesiology. Before the test, all of them took theory courses, and then they took practice courses and were tested; One group performed on the mannequin and the other group performed on the patient. Finally, the results were compared between the two groups. The pre-test scores in group A were 08.15 ± 05.2 and in group B were 51.14 ±38.1, which did not show a statistically significant difference between the two groups. (P=0.325) Post-test scores were 89.17 ±08.0 in group A and 51.1 ±01.21 in group B, which showed a significant difference between the two groups (P = 0.012).Intubation training on mannequins scored higher than the normal patient, and the researchers of the present study conclude that before intubation and any practical skills, students have passed the theory units well and then learned the skills. It remains a critical challenge to develop narrow‐band emitters for wide color gamut displays. Herein, it is designed by the selective site occupancy engineering and an unprecedented narrow‐band green‐emitting phosphor is prepared through chemical substitution. By introducing Ga3+ ions into Sr2LiAlO4:Eu2+ phosphor, the distribution of Eu2+ ions in Sr1 and Sr2 sites is effectively controlled, and only one type of luminescent centers Eu2+(Sr1) is remained in Sr2LiAl0.6Ga0.4O4:Eu2+ due to the compression effect of Sr2O8 polyhedra. Sr2LiAl0.6Ga0.4O4:Eu2+ phosphor presents an extremely narrow‐band green emission centered at 512 nm with a full‐width at half‐maximum of only 40 nm. The wide color gamut (107% National Television System Committee) of the as‐fabricated white liquid crystal displays and the vivid figures captured from the projector demonstrate the potential application of narrow‐band emitter for wide‐color gamut displays. This work provides the design principles of realizing narrow‐band emission by selective site occupancy engineering and can set the stage for the exploring of Eu2+‐activated phosphor for high definition displays. We numerically study the algebraic properties of the Weyl tensor through the merger of two non-spinning black holes (BHs). We are particularly interested in the conjecture that for such a vacuum spacetime, which is zeroth-order algebraically general, a geometric horizon (GH), on which the spacetime is algebraically special and which is identified by the vanishing of a complex scalar invariant (), characterizes a smooth foliation independent surface (horizon) associated with the BH. In the first simulation we investigate the level-0 sets of (since) in the head-on collision of two unequal mass BHs. In the second simulation we shall investigate the level-ɛ sets of through a quasi-circular merger of two non-spinning, equal mass BHs. The numerical results, as displayed in the figures presented, provide evidence that a (unique) smooth GH can be identified throughout all stages of the binary BH merger. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
