In this uncertainty of COVID 19 pandemic, everyone want to be safer and there is no choice than to adopt new normal, so it is sound to analyse pre and post COVID relative impact an patients health so as to redesign routine or new normal. In fact, all these patients and such patients from entire world are facing post COVID problems also which may be related to different parameters different symptoms, age, pre-existing conditions, infection frequency, severity level, stage of diagnosis and more specifically life span and treatment styles in various Hospitals at diverse socio-economic structures/though processes. Hence the medical staff and stakeholders necessarily have to adopt a distinct strategy for future treatments based on past experiences. COVID treatment in hospitals need to be understood as the systematic and coordinated implementation of medical policy by Medical undertakings whether private or state owned, local or regional, national or international, level to achieve the optimum cost of life, time and resources of the needs of particular patient groups and, in doing so, to achieve an appropriate treatments and care.

As COVID-19 Pandemic and related data is very recent. COVID-19 infected most of the population from entire globe with different impact. It disclosed the limitation of access of health and care resources. Various parameters like different symptoms, different existing health conditions, different age, diagnosis level and great uncertainties made the condition vaguer. Fuzzy can handle such vagueness and uncertainty of such voluminous data of patients and can support to medical stakeholders, experts, hospitals, pharmaceuticals etc. Fuzzy Logic is widely used to address so many uncertainties, incompleteness or imprecision. The current experiment implements Fuzzy Inference System for pattern identification and classification by applying fuzzy approach with Fuzzy Logic in R for performance improvement. This focuses on designing Fuzzy Rule base, Model and inference for COVID 19 data analysis.

Today’s agriculture sector requires reducing dependency on chemical fertilizers and increasing the use of bio-based formulations for implementing organic farming practices. In organic farming, the role of bio-fertilizers, bio-pesticides, and growth stimulants is crucial, but the availability of bio-based products in larger quantities always remains a constraint. Hence the purpose of this study is to formulate a microbial-based bio-fertilizer formulation ‘BAIF ELIXER’ & evaluation of its bio efficacy infield trials. Six types of microbial cultures, potential as N2 fixers, phosphate solubilizers, and bio stimulants from BAIF Development Research Foundation were cultivated in a 200 L fermenter and used to develop a BAIF ELIXER bio-fertilizer formulation. The final count of 1X109 CFU/ml was used to develop an on-farm liquid bio-fertilizer BAIF ELIXER formulation. To study its bio-efficacy, seed and on-farm treatment were conducted on Momordica charantia on 900 plants planted in a 0.13 hector area for each treatment in Research Farm, Pune. During the field experiment, plant growth and yield were recorded for 7 consecutive harvests at four days intervals. BAIF ELIXER on-farm treatment produces the highest yield of 997 kg at the 7th harvest. Both seed and on-farm treatment give higher yield as compared to control plots. As a result, the crops can be produced organically with the combined application of biofertilizer for sustainable crop development. The study will help to understand the role of beneficial microbes in agriculture in improving organic farming practices.

Extremophilic microorganisms have the ability to survive under seemingly extreme environments such as extreme pH, temperature, pressure, oxygen levels, desiccation, salinity, radiation, and redox potential. Under such harsh conditions, other normal microbes would be destroyed. However, extremophiles are classified based on the environment in which they can survive. These extremophilic microorganisms have the ability to produce a variety of extremozymes and extremolytes under different harsh conditions. Thus, they are considered as potential candidates for their several biotechnological and commercial applications. This chapter provides an overview of the ecology of extremophiles and their biotechnological applications, including the production of extremophiles, extremozymes, and extremolytes as valuable resources for the future development of a bio-based economy.

The present study was carried out to find out the preliminary phytochemical properties, anticonvulsant and sedative activities of the petroleum ether, ethyl acetate and ethanol extract of Carissa carandas leaves. The standard methods were used to screen the preliminary photochemicals present in petroleum ether, ethyl acetate and ethanol extracts of Carissa carandas leaves. The anticonvulsant efficacy of the extracts was determined using pentylenetetrazole (PTZ) in experimental animal models using diazepam as standard drug and the sedative effect was evaluated using pentobarbitone that induced sleep in mice. The efficacy of the extracts was compared against the standard drug Diazepam .The preliminary phytochemical investigation shows presence of alkaloids, glycoside, tannins,terpins . The crude extracts of ethanolic, ethyl acetate and petroleum ether at a dose 400 mg/kg has been found to significantly reduce the extensor and stupor and offer protection against convulsion induced by PTZ. The petroleum ether, ethyl acetate and ethanolic extract found to be non significant at a dose of 100 mg/kg in flexion. It is seen that the crude extracts of ethanolic, ethyl acetate and petroleum ether Of Carissa carandas leaves significantly (p < 0.05) prolonged the time of sodium pentobarbital-induced hypnosis. However, the animal study revealed that the anticonvulsant and sedative activities of Carissa carandas can be used in the treatment of epilepsy. Heavy metal tolerance of two marine strains of Yarrowia lipolytica was tested on solid yeast extract peptone dextrose agar plates. Based on minimum inhibitory concentration esteems, it is inferred that the two strains of Y. lipolytica were tolerant to heavy metals such as Pb(II), Cr(III), Zn(II), Cu(II), As(V), and Ni(II) ions. The impact of various heavy metal concentrations on the growth kinetics of Y. lipolytica was likewise assessed. With increased heavy metal concentration, the specific growth rate was reduced with delayed doubling time. Furthermore, biofilm development of both yeasts on the glass surfaces and in microtitre plates was assessed in presence of different heavy metals. In microtitre plates, a short lag phase of biofilm formation was noticed without the addition of heavy metals in yeast nitrogen base liquid media. A lag phase was extended over increasing metal concentrations of media. Heavy metals like Cr(VI), Cd(II), and As(V) are contrastingly influenced on biofilms' formation of microtitre plates. Other heavy metals did not much influence on biofilms development. Thus, biofilm formation is a strategy of Y. lipolytica under stress of heavy metals has significance in bioremediation process for recovery of heavy metals from contaminated environment.
