Abstract

An antenna described in this article is a dielectric resonator antenna that is compact and lightweight (DRA). It features a 28 GHz frequency range and a bandwidth of 2.8 GHz. To make up the composite construction, there are two quadrants of hemispherical-shaped dielectric resonator antenna (HDRQ) and a rectangular-shaped dielectric resonator antenna is used. The DRA can be excited to the proper magnitude and phase for radiation using a submissive microstrip slot aperture (MSA) linked feeding method. Analysis of the return loss, gain, bandwidth, E-field intensity and radiation pattern can be done using CST Simulator. Approximately 7.5dBi of peak gain can be expected from the antenna as proposed. Future 5G applications would benefit greatly from the antenna arrangement described here. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Combination of Software Defined Networking with IoT can lead the way for better security and access control mechanisms. SDN could even be an intelligent networking paradigm which reveals vast opportunities to manage and secure IoT. The SDN approach focuses on the programmability for all network elements. 43. PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF A QUASI-Z-SOURCE CONVERTER FOR SOLAR PHOTO VOLTAIC SYSTEM POWERED WATER PUMPING SYSTEM

Abstract

Solar Photo Voltaic system (SPVS)-based water pumping has been gaining wonder attention because it serves as an effective alternative to traditional energy sources in remote areas. In this paper, an SPV panel is connected to pumping applications through back-to-back converter arrangements. This proposed work three different DC/DC boost converter comprises a conventional boost converter (BC), Z-source boost converter (ZSC) and Quasi Z-Source Boost Converter (QZSC) at the front-end for dc integration of SPVS and a three-phase voltage source inverter (VSI) at the back-end, and it fed a Brushless DC Motor (BLDC) motor is connected. The dc link capacitor is connected in between the converter and inverter system. The front-end converter is employed to regulate the dc voltage obtained from the SPVS and the maximum power is extracted by adopting two different algorithms of Incremental Conductance Maximum Power Point Tracking (INC-MPPT) technique and INC trained artificial neural network (INC-ANN-MPPT). The back end two controller proposed to operation of VSI such as conventional MPP DC link voltage (V ) reference and closed loop speed dual tuned PID (VSDT-PID). The conventional control trained ANN controller (VSDT -ANN) with hall effect feedback to optimal operation of motor speed. The back-end converter is employed to regulate the speed of the water flow by controlling the speed of the BLDC motor, irrespective of the irradiance level of SPV. By altering the dc link voltage, the BLDC motor’s different configuration PV insolation and motor load torque. To analysis different configuration conversion system power extraction, transient, settling time, voltage, current and speed deviation of the proposed conversion system, and then compared with the implemented conversion system in MATLAB/ Simulink platform.

A novel coronavirus is a coronavirus strain that hasn't been seen before. Coronavirus infection 2019 refers to a sickness caused by a single coronavirus. Wuhan, China, was the first discovery site. (COVID-19). The COVID-19 virus could be a one-of-a-kind virus related to respiratory disorders and various common colds. Direct contact with an inflamed person's respiratory droplets (which can be formed by coughing and sneezing) and contacting virus-infested surfaces are also ways for the virus to spread. The COVID-19 virus can survive for hours on end on surfaces. COVID-19, together with different viral illnesses, is related to numerous physiological modifications that may be monitored the usage of wearable sensors. Many metrics derived from coronary heart rhythm, together with coronary heart price (HR), coronary heart price variability (HRV), resting coronary heart price (RHR), and breathing price (RR), should function ability markers of COVID-19 infection. Additionally, modifications in electrocardiogram (ECG) waveforms should incorporate records indicative of an infection. Many wearables track more difficult metrics, including stress, recovery, exercise, and sleep, which are often calculated using a combination of cardiac and accelerometer data. Because of the high prevalence of fever and metabolism symptoms in COVID-19, core temperature and blood vessel O saturation (SpO2) are critical. In addition to chest radiography and computed tomography machines, there are also deep learning detection methods and portable devices. Remote monitoring of COVID-19 and non-COVID patients using wearable sensors, IoT, and telemedicine to assess their condition and reduce the risk of cross-infection.

Simply turn on your carpus then your hand becomes your mobile. It has capable of showing a touch screen display on your carpus, it facilitates the process you to have easy access and works your applications without carrying your mobile phones. The Virtual Wearable Bands shows your phone's display onto your carpus by using a Pico projector with the help of eight Proximity Sensors. These sensors allow the bracelet to identify your finger location based on the proximity sensor. In this project, the connection between the mobile app and virtual band using ZigBee. The ZigBee is the foremost technology it works in low power, low cost, and efficient network. This is IoT based project with the help of a Proximity sensor, pico-projector. Moreover, we develop a new app to interconnect bands and our own phones. we call this app as a virtual app. It is used for browsing the website, hearing music, chatting and talking with your friends and colleagues, receiving the mail at any instance, playing games, watching videos without carrying any phone with help of a Virtual Band.

In today's environment, the safety of children and women is becoming increasingly crucial. Women's crime is rising day by day. To address this problem, a technology-driven solution based on the most recent technical advances can be devised. This is an IoT-based solution that will assist us in effectively combating the conditions. Camera, GPS, GSM, microphone, and voice recognition modules are all hidden inside. The voice command will send an SOS signal to the people on your contact list as well as local authorities. Authorities can rush to the scene of the occurrence and stop it from happening. Immediately when the instruction through voice is turned on, the camera begins recording, and uploading the data to cloud storage. The recordings from the camera will be utilized for finding the criminal.

47. Eco-friendly synthesized zinc oxide nanoparticles—an antibacterial agent

Abstract

The synthesis of nano- and micro-sized particles, as well as an eco-friendly approach with non-toxic chemicals, is essential for the development of medicine in nanotechnology. This study focuses on the green synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) using the aqueous leaf extract of an endemic plant, Jatropha maheshwarii. Microscopic and spectroscopic techniques such as UV–visible spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), X-ray Diffraction analysis (XRD), and Energy-Dispersive Xray spectroscopy (EDAX) were employed to prove the synthesis, stability, and other physicochemical properties of the J. maheshwarii-mediated synthesized ZnO NPs. In XRD analysis, the synthesized nanoparticles were found to be in irregular shape (size: 30.78 nm). These nanoparticles exhibited significant antibacterial efficacy against gram-positive (Bacillus Bacillussp., and Staphylococcus aureus) and gram negative (Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosaand Salmonella typhi) bacterial pathogens. A significant inhibition zone of 23 mm was obtained against P. aeruginosaamong the bacterial species at a concentration of 100 μg/ml. Moreover, the mode of action of these bionanoparticles as an antibacterial agent was screened by the amount of reducing sugars and proteins leaked from the bacterial cells under study after treating with nanoparticles (leakage assay). The maximum amount of proteins (84 μg/ml) was released from S. aureus, and in the case of sugars, the maximum was released from P. aeruginosa(9 μg/ml). These results encourage the development of these green nanoparticles as potential antibacterial drugs in the future.
