Cleruchoides indicus Manickavasagam and Sankararaman sp. nov. (Figures 1���3) Type material Holotype. ♀ (EDAU, registration no. Mym/36/2021) on slide under four coverslips, labelled ��� INDIA: Tamil Nadu, Salem, Yercaud hills (11��48��N 78��13��E), 21. September. 2016, YPT, Coll. S. Palanivel���. Paratype, 1 ♀ on slide under four coverslips, EDAU, 4 November 2017, same data as holotype except for the date. Diagnosis. Cleruchoides indicus sp. nov. differs from the two other described species of Cleruchoides by the following combination of features: Body colour generally yellow, clava 3.5�� as long as wide, fl 2 0.6�� the length of fl 3 and fore wing 6.6�� as long as wide. Description. FEMALE (holotype, Figure 1). Length 490 ��m. Head pale yellow, except subantennal grooves and mandible, dark brown to black. Eyes pink. Antenna with scape, pedicel and funicle yellow, clava pale brown, mesosoma (Figure 3) yellow, except pronotum and legs pale yellow (Figure 1). Wings hyaline, with brown suffusion behind venation. Metasoma (Figure 1) light brown dorsally and pale yellow laterally. Head (Figure 2 (b)) in frontal view 1.4�� as wide as long. Antenna (Figure 2 (a)) with scape 5.0�� as long as wide, pedicel 1.6�� as long as wide, fl 1 the shortest, 1.3�� as long as wide, fl 2 0.6�� as long as fl 3, fl 4 and fl 5 equal, fl 3 and fl 6 equal and longer than rest of the segments, clava 3.5�� as long as wide and a little longer than combined length of fl 4���6; fl 5 and fl 6 each with 2 mps, clava with 5 mps. Mesosoma 1.3�� as long as metasoma. Pronotum 0.8�� length of mesoscutum. Fore wing (Figure 2 (c)) 6.6�� as long as wide, longest marginal seta 2.5�� as long as maximum wing width, with one row of microtrichia at wing apex, parastigma-stigmal vein with posterior margin weakly sinuate. Hind wing (Figure 2 (d)) 12.3�� as long as wide, longest marginal seta 3.3�� as long as maximum wing width. Metasoma with ovipositor short, about 0.7�� length of metatibia and 0.7�� length of metasoma. Measurements (holotype, as length or length:width). Male. Unknown. Distribution. India: Tamil Nadu. Etymology. The new species is named after India, the country in which the specimens were collected. Variation. No variation was observed in body length or colour of the paratype. Hosts. Unknown; however, the extralimital species C. noackae from Australia, was reared from eggs of Thaumastocoridae (Hemiptera), Thaumastocoris peregrinus and Baclozygum ? depressum (Lin et al. 2007). Neither of the latter species are reported anywhere from the Indian subcontinent so far, although T. peregrinus, an invasive pest of eucalyptus, has been introduced into several countries and was managed by the introduction of C. noackae. The only member of Thaumastocoridae known from India is Wechina chinai Drake and Slater, 1957. It has been observed as a sap-feeder on Syzygium cumini (H.M. Yeshwanth, personal communication). Currently, there are no reports of any egg parasitoids of this species from India. Allanagrus magniclava Noyes & Valentine 1989 (Figs 19, 20) Allanagrus magniclava Noyes & Valentine 1989: 23. Type locality: New Zealand, AK, Titirangi. Type material. Holotype female (NZAC), not examined but JH examined a paratype (CNC). Noyes & Valentine (1989) described the species well and provided line drawings of a specimen so we complement their description with photographs of the antenna (Fig. 19) and metasoma (Fig. 20) of the examined paratype for comparison with the other species keyed here.

Allanagrus aurum (Girault, 1938) (Figs 15, 16) Stethynium aurum Girault 1938: 388. Type locality: Australia, Victoria, Canterbury. Stethynium aurum: Dahms 1983: 85 (type data). Allanagrus aurum: Lin et al. 2007: 22 (generic transfer). Type material. Holotype female (QMBA). The holotype, the only known specimen, was not studied but a photograph was examined. Girault’s (1938) description reads “ Differs from mayeri: Cephalic scutum black; first funicle a bit shorter than the pedicel, 5 as long as 3. A female from the garden, Canterbury, Victoria, B. Blackbourn, January, 1935.” The scutum is (now) brown (Fig. 16) but otherwise the brief description is correct. Allanagrus aurum is extremely similar to A. mayeri. Two differences suggest that they should be kept as separate species—fore wing proportions and proportions of the clava. Allanagrus montanus Manickavasagam & Palanivel, sp. n. (Figs 8–14) Type material. Holotype female (EDAU, registration No. Mym 22/2017), dissected and mounted on slide under five cover slips: INDIA, Namakkal, Kolli hills, 22.x.15, YPT, ginger & pineapple plantation, 11°24Ꞌ N 0 78°33Ꞌ E; K. Saravanan. Paratype: 1 female on slide under four cover slips, same data as holotype. Diagnosis. Females are distinguished as follows: from A. aurum, A. gladius, A. mayeri, and A. magniclava by the strong brown band on the fore wing (fore wing fairly uniformly hyaline in the other species); from A. orientalis as shown in Table 1. Description. Female (holotype). Body length 750 µm. Body brown to yellow (Fig. 8). Head light brown, eyes brownish red, ocelli red; scape and pedicel yellow, F1 to clava light brown to dark brown. Dorsum of mesosoma brown except pronotum and posterior of mesoscutum yellow, venter of mesosoma yellow; metasoma medially dark brown with anterior and posterior ends yellowish and white respectively; fore leg light brown except coxa yellow, meso- and metacoxae dark brown, femora and tibiae light brown, tarsi yellow, all trochanters yellow. Wings hyaline, fore wing with two brown-smoky bands, a lighter one behind submarginal vein and another a wider one just beyond stigmal vein (Fig. 8). Head width 223; mandible tridentate (Fig. 9). Antenna (Fig. 10 a, b) with scape 3.2× as long as wide, 1.7× as long as pedicel; fl1 0.6× as long as fl2; fl2 and fl3 subequal; fl4 0.8× as long as fl5, with one mps; fl6 1.1× as long as wide; clava 2.6× as long as wide, with 7 mps. Mesosoma (Fig. 13) 0.7× as long as metasoma. Fore wing (Fig. 11) 6.8× as long as wide; longest marginal seta 0.9× wing width. Hind wing (Fig. 12) 27× as long as wide; longest marginal seta 4.0× wing width. Metasoma with ovipositor 2.66× metatibia length and exserted part 1.0× metasoma length (Fig. 14). Measurements (µm) of holotype. Head width 223. Antennal segment length/width: scape, 80/25; pedicel, 45/ 25; fl1, 43/10; fl2, 63/13; fl3, 65/15; fl4, 53/23; fl5, 63/28; fl6, 38/33; clava, 158/60. Male. Unknown. Etymology. The species name is a Latin adjective in reference to the hilly terrain of the type locality.

Allanagrus Noyes and Valentine, 1989 Allanagrus Noyes & Valentine 1989: 22 (original description); Lin et al. 2007: 21 (diagnosis). Diagnosis. Female funicle 6-segmented, clava 3-segmented but sometimes with an incomplete suture (Fig. 10 b) so clava apparently partly 2-segmented; face with a distinct subantennal groove extending from torulus to mouth margin; mandible moderately short, uni- or tridentate; pronotum divided; fore wing 4.5���7.0�� as long as wide, with sparse to densely setose disc, wing apex smoothly rounded (Noyes & Valentine 1989, fig. 23a) to pointed (Fig. 4), posterior margin behind venation with indistinct lobe; male flagellum 11-segmented with fl11 fairly narrowly attached to fl10, similar to other flagellar segments; genitalia symmetrical, with relatively wide base. Allanagrus is similar to several other genera with a 3-segmented clava in females, notably Anneckia Subba Rao (1970), known only from Papua New Guinea, Parastethynium Lin & Huber, known from Australia (Lin et al. 2007), Indonesia (Ogloblin 1946), and India (Rameshkumar et al. 2015), and Stethynium (cosmopolitan), as discussed by Huber & Triapitsyn (2017). Stethynium females have a more compact clava with strongly oblique sutures separating the segments and males have an asymmetrical and complex genitalic structure. Parastethynium species have eyes with numerous setae among the facets, the fore wing is wider and apically truncate, and the hind wing is much wider and apically rounded (Huber et al. 2011). The only described Anneckia species is distinguished by the fore wing in its apical half having a distinct oval hyaline area contrasting with a darker area around it and a rather asymmetrical apex, but otherwise Anneckia and Allanagrus are difficult to distinguish from each other. Some species of Allanagrus also have an oval hyaline area in the fore wing but the fore wing apex is symmetrical. Distribution. Australia (Girault 1912, 1915, 1938), New Zealand (Noyes & Valentine 1989), India (Manickavasagam & Palanivel 2014) and Gabon (Huber & Triapitsyn 2017). Hosts. Unknown. Allanagrus orientalis Manickavasagam & Palanivel, sp. n. (Figs 1���7) Type material. One paratype deposited in NBAIR, Bangalore. Diagnosis. Females are distinguished from A. montanus, the only other Indian species of Allanagrus, by the features given in Table 1. It is distinguished from other world species with similarly long fl1 and fl2, i.e. excluding A. occidentalis, as follows. From A. magniclava females by fl2 with 3 mps and ovipositor clearly exserted beyond apex of gaster (fl2 with 0 mps and ovipositor barely exserted in A. magniclava); from A. mayeri by fl4 same length as fl6 and fl2 and fl3 with mps (fl4 distinctly longer and fl2 and fl3 without mps in A. mayeri); from A. aurum by distinctly exserted ovipositor (barely exserted in A. aurum); and from A. gladius by the ovipositor not exserted as far beyond apex of gaster (much further in A. gladius), the fore wing more pointed apically and with a much larger area along posterior half of fore wing without microtrichia (fore wing more rounded apically and with microtrichia more uniformly distributed and present along posterior half in A. gladius), and fl5 much longer than fl4 or fl6 (fl5 almost same length as fl4 and fl 6 in A. gladius). Description. Female (holotype). Body length 650 ��m. Body golden yellow. Head light brown with eye and ocelli dark red. Antenna yellowish to dark brown; wings hyaline (Fig. 1). Head width 205 (Fig. 2); mandible unidentate. Holotype female (QMBA), uncleared and poorly mounted, under a broken cover slip with the type (under its own broken cover slip) of another mymarid species, both on one broken slide labelled as shown (Fig. 17) and illustrated (Fig. 18). Redescription. Female (holotype). Length 750 µm (Fig. 18). Body yellow with darker areas as described by Girault, whose description of colour differs significantly from colour pattern now visible on the holotype since the specimen was fresh and perhaps not yet slide mounted. Head width 170. Scape about 2.26× as long as wide, about 2.0× as long as pedicel; fl1 the shortest and fl3 the longest segment; fl1 about 0.6× as long as fl2; fl2 0.8× as long as fl3; fl4 1.1× as long as fl5; fl6 1.45× as long as wide; clava 3.2× as long as wide, with 6 mps. Allanagrus mayeri (Girault, 1912) (Figs 21, 22) Stethynium mayeri Girault 1912: 161. Type locality: Australia, Queensland, Nelson (= Gordonvale). Stethynium mayeri: Dahms 1984: 801 (type data). Allanagrus mayeri: Lin et al. 2007: 22 (generic transfer). Type material. Holotype female (QMBA) uncleared and under one coverslip on a cracked slide labelled as shown (Fig. 21) and illustrated (Fig. 22). Redescription. Female (holotype). Length 800 µm. General color uniformly lemon-yellow, antennal clava and distal four funicle segments brown, ocelli red. Fore wing hyaline (Fig. 22). Head width 211. Scape about 2.9× as long as wide, about 1.6× as long as pedicel; funicle 6-segmented, fl2 the longest and fl6 the shortest segment; fl1 0.8× as long as fl2; fl2 1.1× as long as fl3; fl4 about 0.8× as long as fl5; fl6 1.4× as long as wide; clava about 3.8× as long as wide, with 6 mps. Mesosoma 1.0× as long as metasoma. Fore wing slightly pointed, 5.41× as long as wide; longest marginal seta 1.0× wing width. Hind wing about 23.4× as long as wide; longest marginal seta 4.0× wing width. Ovipositor 1.09× metatibia length, slightly exserted beyond apex of gaster (Fig. 22). Measurements (µm) of holotype. Antennal segment length/width: scape 74/26; pedicel, 47/26; fl1, 41/14; fl2, 51/13; fl3, 46/15; fl4, 38/17; fl5, 50/24; fl6, 31/22; clava, 157/41. Mesosoma length 269.
