Abstract Objective This study aims to investigate the connection between dominant decision-making style and creativity among nursing managers. Background The dominant style of decision-making nursing managers use definitely affects the quality of decisions. Also, in another way, it can develop a skill of creative thinking that may influence the entire health care system. Methods Data from 229 nursing managers in four university hospitals were gathered using a cross-sectional study methodology and questionnaires about general decision-making styles and managerial creativity. Results nursing managers are highly creative. In general, the dominant decision-making style is rational and is correlated positively with creativity. Dependent style is the second one, while it is correlated negatively and significantly with creativity. Intuitive style is the third one and correlated negatively but is insignificant with creativity. Regression analysis revealed that only three styles have an effect on creativity: rational (positive), dependent (negative), and avoidant (negative), respectively. Conclusion The most dominant style is rational, which has the highest effect, which is positive on creativity. The dependent is the second dominant style and has a negative effect. Whereas intuitive is the third dominant style and did not have any effect on creativity.

The study aimed at knowing the design of a training program based on transformational leadership and measuring its effectiveness in developing managerial creativity skills for governmental high schools' directors in Riyadh, and to achieve the goals of the study, the experimental approach was used, and the researcher designed a training program based on transformational leadership, and a score of managerial creativity as tools for collecting information. The study sample included (60) directors of high school directors, divided into two groups as (30) for the study group, (30) for the control group, and the study showed the following findings: There are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of each of the study and control group members on the score of managerial creativity in the pre-assessment. There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores for each of the study and control group members on the score of managerial creativity in the post-assessment in favor of the study group. There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the sample members of the study group between the pre- and postassessments on the score of managerial creativity in favor of the postassessment attributable to the implementation of the training program based on transformational leadership. There are statistically significant differences on the axes of the score of managerial creativity and the total score of the study and control groups in the post-assessment due to sociodemographic variables (age, educational qualification, number of years of experience), in favor of the oldest age, the higher educational qualification, and the highest in number of years of experience. In view of the foregoing, the study recommended the significance of developing and improving the skills of managerial creativity for the directors of governmental high schools, as well as eligibility in the Riyadh region through training on transformational leadership. In the current conditions of development of preschool education in Ukraine, focused on the world and European educational standards, the professional quality of heads of preschool education such as managerial creativity is of great importance, updating of which in management activity will make it possible to make effective, non-standard managerial decisions, ensure the work of preschool educational institutions in the regime of development, not functioning and condition the high quality of preschool education and successful development of every child of preschool age. However, in the practice of local preschool education, there is a shortage of managerial creativity among the heads of preschool education. Therefore, the study of peculiarities of the development of this quality among future heads is the aim of our research that will help to develop and use a system for the development of managerial creativity in the context of university education and independent student activity. The present study aimed to investigate the relation of managerial creativity and emotional intelligence to employee motivation, commitment and job performance. 100 managers and 400 employees working under them participated in the study. They were randomly drawn from various offices of the Defence Accounts Department. Standardized psychological tests for managerial creativity, emotional intelligence, work motivation, organizational commitment and performance were used. Data were processed using Multiple Regression Analysis. Results revealed that Managerial Creativity and Managerial Emotional Intelligence as predictors contribute significantly to different dimensions of employees work motivation, commitment and performance. As the world advances and becomes more complex, creativity is desired in many situations, including the workplace. An instrumental component of any viable strategy to attain and sustain competitive advantage in a changing market context is achieving the ability to innovate consistently and create profitable growth. In order to maximize creativity in the workplace, it is important to understand the factors that affect creativity. This paper reports the factors affecting managerial creativity. This idea is illustrated by conducting a survey of 100 employees that were selected from different Print and Electronic media.
