In this study, the effect of Online Learning and Digital Conversation-Based Activities method on students' achievement, attitudes and perceptions of cultural values in language and literature courses was examined. The study group consisted of 2 branches studying in the 3rd grade of a high school in Astana province in the 2022 academic year. 64 high school third grade students participated in the study. In the study in which quasi-experimental research model was used, post-test control group design was used. In this context, Online Learning And Digital Conversation-Based Activities in the experimental group and traditional teaching activities in the control group were applied for 6 weeks. As a result, when the two classes were considered independently of each other, it was found that the students in the group applying the Online Learning And Digital Conversation-Based Activities program achieved higher academic achievement, attitude towards the course and cultural value perception gains compared to their peers in the control group.

This investigation aimed to examine the impact of a 12-week voice blogging course on L2 Kazakh speaking performance among Russian-speaking upper secondary school students in Kazakhstan. The participants (n = 84) were randomly allocated to an experimental group engaged in weekly voice recording and posting via WhatsApp outside of class time and a control group that received the same regular classroom instruction but without extracurricular speaking practice. The oral performance of both groups was assessed in terms of complexity, fluency, and accuracy indices before and after the intervention. A questionnaire was administered to the experimental group to elicit their perceptions of the audio blogging course. The learners in the experimental group demonstrated higher complexity and fluency in their post-test narrations than the control group. However, no significant effect was found on the accuracy of speech. The participants reported a positive attitude toward the completed course and expressed willingness to recommend voice blogging to others. These findings suggest that audio blogging can be an effective and engaging method to enhance L2 speaking skills, but it may require additional support and feedback to address accuracy issues. This article, subjecting to theoretical comprehension the works available in European, Russian and Kazakh science devoted to the problems of researching archetypal constants, aims at a holistic analysis of two legends related to Turkic, in particular, Kazakh, mythology: about the first creator of a musical instrument – kobyz Korkyt and the singer Asan Kaigy. The archetypes of birth, death, art, an old wise man, roads and others that embody national ideas about human and world order, on the one hand, and reflect the long experience of mankind, on the other, are subjected to scrupulous analysis. Typological analysis of these legends made it possible to see the common in their content core: both heroes, in search of the “promised land”, find something more – spiritual rebirth through serving their people with the art of words and music and immortality through this.
