Introduction/purpose: The significance of studying voting behaviour is underscored by its ability to gauge the continuity or divergence of electoral politics from historical trends, elucidating the real impact of the transformative ballot box, and contributing to the examination of democracy as a value among both masses and elites. Additionally, it aids in comprehending the intricate process of political socialization. Methods: An inherent strength of the rough set lies in its reliance solely on raw data, devoid of external inputs. The decision-theoretic rough set framework, an evolution of the rough set, has garnered widespread application across diverse domains, serving as a proficient tool for acquiring knowledge, particularly in navigating situations marked by vagueness and uncertainty. Despite the proliferation of mathematical models designed to discern people's voting behavior, a decision-based rough set recommendation remains noticeably absent in existing literature. This paper introduces an innovative three-way decision approach grounded in linguistic information for identifying voting behavior. The proposed approach is based on a hybrid probabilistic rough fuzzy model incorporating linguistic information and providing insights into voting patterns. Results: The three-way decision hybrid models are tested on people and a highly satisfactory result was achieved for identifying their voting behaviours. The justification of results was validated through the mathematical process. Conclusion: A practical illustration is provided to highlight the importance of this hybrid model and to confirm its usefulness in identifying and forecasting voting behaviour. The Indian Major Carp, Labeo rohita was stocked in four different resource environments namely, Periphyton monoculture, Periphyton polyculture, Plankton monoculture, and Plankton polyculture. Bamboo substrates were used as periphyton colonizers in culture ponds. In polyculture stocks, the Catla catla and Cirhinus mrigala were used as companion crop. The on-farm experiment was conducted for 210 days, and gut contents of rohu were collected and analyzed throughout the stocking period. The gut abundances of rohu showed an inclination towards algal food organisms, especially Cyanophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Baccillariophyceae, and Eugelophyceae, towards the later period of stocking when the fish attains a considerable total length. Results from the Shanon Diversity index supported higher algal diversity in the fish gut in periphytic conditions. The Diet breadth index also clearly indicated that rohu has a strong preferences towards periphyton than plankton. Such preferences are more prevalent in polyculture than in monoculture conditions. In conclusion, it can be accepted that rohu has clear preference towards periphyton over plankton when it is available in the environment. Stocking of other planktonic feeders in polyculture conditions may have no impact on the feeding pattern of rohu if periphytic resources are made available in the environment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Decision theoretic rough set model have been used over many years in most of the application areas. It provides a novel way for knowledge acquisition, especially when dealing with vagueness and uncertainty. Many mathematical modelings have been presented recently to control the pandemic nature of COVID-19 and along with its control model as well. Decision-based treatment recommendation has not yet been found so far in any of the articles. In this paper, we have proposed a novel approach of three-way decision based on linguistic information of a COVID-19 susceptible person. To present this, we have discussed the probabilistic rough fuzzy hybrid model with linguistic information. This model helps us to guess the infected person and decide whom to send for self-isolation, home quarantine and medical treatment in an emergency situation. Labeo rohita (rohu) is a commercially popular Indian major carp species in polyculture fish farming system. It feeds mainly on plankton. The adults of rohu have a strong positive selection for phytoplankton, whereas the fingerlings have a strong positive selection for both zooplanktonic and smaller phytoplanktonic sources. Conversely, adults of rohu exhibit a strong negative selection for all zooplanktonic sources and a positive selection for most phytoplanktonic sources. In periphytic environments, the fish grow better feeding on the sub‐periphytic zone in proximity to the substrate. We conclude that rohu is an excellent aquaculture candidate, thanks to its ability to explore natural resources (plankton and periphyton) and transform them to fish biomass in polyculture practice. In contrast to over‐reliance on artificial feed, translation of natural resources for exploration by rohu could be the next step for sustainable carp‐based polyculture practice. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
