Special economic zones (SEZs) are essential if a developing country is to boost economic growth. The selection of an SEZ site might be viewed as a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) difficulty because of the many conflicting aspects connected to different locations. This work presents a flexible neutrosophic MCDM approach for optimal SEZ site search. The single-valued neutrosophic sets transform the qualitative evaluation of the criteria for SEZ alternatives into a quantitative evaluation. The method based on removal effect on criteria (MEREC) approach is improved in a neutrosophic environment to ascertain the relevance of every characteristic of SEZ alternatives. We suggested a three-tuple neutrosophic combined compromised solution (N-CoCoSo) to evaluate the choice of expert to solve the SEZ site ranking problem. According to the planned N-CoCoSo, coastal forest regions are the worst location for SEZ sites; agricultural land near coastal areas is ideal. The model divides the population into five sub-populations of humans and three vectors. Boundedness, non-negativity, and continuous dependence of solutions on initial data prove their well-posedness. An explicit expression of the basic reproduction number and stability analysis of equilibria offer insights into disease mitigation and persistence. The Disease-Free Equilibrium is globally stable when the basic reproduction number is below 1, while the Endemic Equilibrium is globally stable when it is greater than 1. Sensitivity analysis identifies key mitigation parameters, and bifurcation analysis reveals the bifurcation parameter. Growth in the advancement of 3D printing technology has made it easy to fabricate complicated bio-inspired structures (BISs). In this paper, the sandwich structure of the beetle elytron structure (BES) hollow cylinder, influencing every corner of the honeycomb structure, is designed by considering parameters like the thickness, length, and diameter of the hollow cylinder, with the different ranges taken giving minimum and maximum values in the response surface methodology (RSM). Sandwich structures are fabricated using VAT polymerization technology. A Universal Testing Machine (UTM) tests the fabricated structures for compression, and results are recorded from the tests of each specimen. All specimens' compressive strength (CS) and energy absorptions (EA) values are calculated. This paper examines dynamic behaviours of a two-species discrete fractional order predator-prey system with functional response form of Ivlev along with Gompertz growth of prey population. A discretization scheme is first applied to get Caputo fractional differential system for the prey-predator model. This study identifies certain conditions for the local asymptotic stability at the fixed points of the proposed prey-predator model. The existence and direction of the period-doubling bifurcation, Neimark-Sacker bifurcation, and Control Chaos are examined for the discrete-time domain. As the bifurcation parameter increases, the system displays chaotic behaviour. For various model parameters, bifurcation diagrams, phase portraits, and time graphs are obtained. Theoretical predictions and long-term chaotic behaviour are supported by numerical simulations across a wide variety of parameters. This paper aims to identify the vital reading strategies used mainly by the technical students while reading a text and further to classify the reading strategies under the designated criteria that are necessary to be practiced developing the reading efficiency among the technical students. Instead, if they try to find out the specific strategy to follow up for gaining the desired criterion, that will indeed help them better read any text. This paper is validated and illustrated mathematically using Multi-Criteria Decision-Making representation in assessing the data collected from students at different engineering colleges, including some central technical institutions. Many systems connected in series are subject to failure earlier in their design life. The failure rate of such systems has been described by a two-sided power distribution, which enables modeling the entirety of the bathtub curve failure modes with a single distribution. We propose a time-dependent reliability optimization model for improving a system's reliability through the optimal allocation of redundant components whose failure distribution follows a two-sided power distribution. To solve the multi-criteria optimization model, we propose an algorithm that (i) identifies the scale tolerance at which a selected component will have a higher mean residual life, (ii) identifies the level of redundancy for enhancing system reliability, and (iii) identifies other optimal system characteristics, including minimized cost and minimized volume. Two sided power (TSP) distribution with four parameters (a, b, c, η) models time-to-failure. We consider an n-stage series system and assign redundancy within the stages. We propose a multi-objective optimization problem to assign redundancy, accounting for reliability, cost, and system volume. An illustrative example is solved using the NSGA-II algorithm.
