The objective of this study is to compare the attitude of adolescent and young adult females toward women empowerment residing in the urban area of Delhi NCR region. For this purpose the Adolescent Girls Empowerment Scale by Sisodia and Singh, 2009 was used to compare the attitudes of the two groups. Random sampling was used to select the sample of 100 participants each in the adolescent and young adult females group. The scale was administered individually to each participant. The study hypothesized that there will be a significant difference on the attitude of adolescent and young adult females toward women empowerment. Means, standard deviations and Student's 't' test were computed for analyzing the results. The results indicated that there was no difference in the two groups in all the seven sub-areas of the scale as well as for the total score on women empowerment. The results are discussed in light of existing research and limitations and scope for future improvements are suggested. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
