İktisadi yapıdaki değişimlerle bütünleşen teknoloji, iletişimi değiştirmekte ve geliştirmektedir. Anne ve babaların çocuklarının ilgi alanlarına yönelik içerikler üreterek sosyal medyanın bir parçası haline geldikleri gözlemlenmektedir. YouTube çocuk kanallarını yöneten ebeveynlerin sosyo-kültürel yaşamlarının da bu çerçevede şekillendiği söylenebilir. Bu çalışma, YouTube çocuk kanallarında, anne ve baba rollerinin eğlence ve tüketim olgularının etkisiyle beraber nasıl birer magazinsel eyleme dönüştüğünü ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada yeni medya ile ilgili metinler arası okuma yapılarak, magazinleşme ve eğlence kültürü ile yeni medya ilişkisini çözümlemek amacıyla literatür taraması yapılmıştır. İkinci aşamada kotalı örneklem alma tekniği ile seçilmiş olan YouTube çocuk kanallarındaki içerikler (Like Nastya TR, Aslıyarence ve Korayzeynep) önce nicel, ardından nitel içerik analizine (göstergebilim) tabi tutulmuştur. Videolar, IBM SPSS 22 programı kullanılarak tablolaştırılmıştır. Ardından seçilen videolar nitel içerik analizi (göstergebilim) yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın üçüncü aşamasında ise 13 yaş altında çocuğu bulunan 15 ebeveyn ile yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiş ve bu görüşmeler betimsel analiz tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda YouTube çocuk kanalları kullanıcısı ebeveynlerin eğlence ve tüketim odaklı magazinsel eylemde bulundukları gözlemlenmiştir. Ebeveynlerle gerçekleşen görüşmelerden oluşan izlenim sonrası ise izleyici konumunda bulunan çocuklarının olumsuz etkilendiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Modern zamanlarda dinî bilginin edinim ve aktarım yolları daha çok teknolojinin getirdiği imkanlar etrafında şekillenmektedir. Sosyal medya platformları güncel haberlerin yanı sıra dinî bilgilerin de paylaşıldığı mecralar olmuş ve dinî bilginin kontrolsüzce kitlesel etkileşime açık hale gelmesine yol açmıştır. Ülkemiz özelinde dinî gün ve gecelere özel önem atfedildiği varsayımından hareketle pek çok kişi, kurum ve platform bu zaman dilimlerinde hitap ettikleri kitlelere kutsallık atfedilen zamanlarla ilgili dinî içerikler üretmektedir. Bir haber sitesinin dinî bilgiyi paylaşması bir kenara taharetten vasiyete kadar dinin bütün alanlarını kapsayacak şekilde içerik üretmesi, fetva vermesi ve yönlendirici birtakım uygulamaları tavsiye etmesi, önemli bir hazırlık ve alt yapı çalışması gerektirir. Dinî içerik üretenlerin modern zamanda sıklıkla yapılan kopyala-yapıştır düşüncesi içinde hareket etmeleri, milyonlarca takipçisi olan platformlarda dinî dezenformasyonun önünü açabilir. Bununla birlikte paylaşılan bilgilerin içinde yer verilen görsellerin seçiminde yapılan dikkatsizlik, kitlelerin dine ait algılarının olumsuz şekillenmesine neden olabilir. Esasında ucu açık bir platform olan internet ortamında bilginin paylaşımından ziyade doğruluğu ve güvenilirliği konuları her geçen gün daha da önem kazanmakla birlikte içeriklerin medyatik formlar taşıması/magazinleşmesi bir başka problemi doğurmaktadır. Yayın ilkelerinde “bilginin evrenselliğine inanarak toplumun gelişmesi için bilgilendirici ve eğitici yayınları ön yargılardan arınmış saplantısız bir yaklaşımla ortaya koyduğunu” belirten haber7.com isimli sitede, Yasemin bölümü Masiva alt başlığında dinî içerikler paylaşılmaktadır. İlgili bölümde kıyamet alametleri, fal baktırmak, kabir azabı, arife günü duası, üç ayların fazileti, cuma günü zikirleri başta olmak üzere tövbe namazı, evlilik, aile içi huzuru temin için yapılması istenen fiiller ve nazar boncuğu takma gibi pek çok konu hakkında bilgi bulunmaktadır. Masiva platformu dinî bilgileri paylaşırken birtakım görseller kullanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada dinin medyatikleşmesi konusu üzerinde durulacak popüler din algısının dinî içerik paylaşımındaki rolüne temas edilecektir. Muhafazakâr yayın çizgisine sahip olduğu düşünülen haber7.com sitesinde özellikle dinî/mübarek kabul edilen zaman dilimlerinden üç aylarla ilgili üretilen dinî içerikler, doğruluk ve güvenilirlik ilkeleri açısından incelenecektir. Ayrıca ortaya konulan verilerin analizi, başta hadis olmak üzere fıkıh ilmi açısından gerçekleştirilecek; özellikle hadis olarak zikredilen metinlerin kaynakları ve sıhhat değerleri tespit edilecektir. Çalışmanın nihai hedefi, dinî olduğu varsayılan bilgilerin paylaşım amacı, mahiyeti, kaynağı, doğruluğu ve güvenilirliği gibi problematikleri tespit etmek, dinî bilgilerin bilgilendirme aracı olarak kullanılırken dikkat edilmesi gereken noktalara işaret etmektir.

Öz: Kitle iletişim araçlarının en önemli özelliklerinden biri de gündem belirlemeye olan katkısıdır. Bu katkıyı sağlarken kullandığı etmen ise haberdir. Haber aynı zamanda farklı kamuoylarının oluşturulmasında etkili olur. Özellikle haberin bilgilendirme boyutu tüm dünyayı etkisi altına alan COVID-19 pandemi salgınıyla birlikte daha da artmıştır. Bu dönemde haberler kitleleri bilgilendirici, yönlendirici ve gündem belirleyici önemli bir unsur haline gelmiştir. Diğer taraftan ciddi habercilik anlayışı yerine daha soft olarak adlandırılan ve genellikle ünlülerin yaşamı üzerine odaklanan magazin haberleri, salgın döneminde önemli bir toplumsal gerçeklikten kaçış aracı olarak ön plana çıkmıştır. Bu çalışmada, COVID-19 pandemi salgınında Türkiye’de magazin haberlerinin içerikleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmada, sokağa çıkma yasaklarının başlandığı 11 Nisan tarihinden 30 Nisan'a kadarki süreçte örneklem olarak alınan Posta, Sabah ve Hürriyet gazetelerinin internet siteleri içerik analizi yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler, istatistiki analizlerle değerlendirilmiştir. Değerlendirme sonucunda magazin haberlerinin gerçek ile kurgu arasında sınırları aştığı ve okuyucuyu toplumsal gerçeklikten uzaklaştırıcı haber yaptığı gözlenmiştir. In particular, the informative dimension of the news has increased even more with the COVID-19 pandemic that has affected the whole world. In this period, the news has become an important element that informs, guides and sets the agenda. On the other hand, magazine news that is softer rather than serious reporting, and generally focuses on the lives of celebrities, has come to the fore as an important means of escape from social reality in the pandemic period. In this study, the contents of magazine news in Turkey were examined during Covid-19 pandemic. In the study, the websites of Posta, Sabah and Hurriyet newspapers, sampled during the period from April 11, when the curfews began, to April 30, were analyzed using content analysis. The obtained data were evaluated with statistical analysis. As a result of the evaluation, it was observed that the magazine news crosses the boundaries between reality and fiction and distracts the reader from social reality.

In modern times, the ways of acquiring and transferring religious knowledge are mostly shaped around the possibilities brought by technology. Social media platforms have become the channels where religious information is shared as well as current news, and this has led to the uncontrolled mass interaction of religious information. Based on the assumption that special importance is attached to religious days and nights in our country, many individuals, institutions and platforms produce religious content about the times that are sacred to the masses they address in these time periods. For a news site to produce content that covers all areas of religion from taharah to testament, issuing fatwas and recommending some guiding practices requires significant preparation and infrastructural work, apart from sharing religious information. The fact that those who produce religious content act with the copypaste way, that is often done in modern times, can pave the way for religious disinformation on platforms with millions of followers. In addition to this, carelessness in the selection of the visuals included in the shared information may cause the masses' perceptions of religion to be negatively shaped. In fact, the issues of accuracy and reliability rather than sharing information in the internet environment, which is an open-ended platform, are gaining more and more importance day by day, as well as the fact that the contents carry mediatic forms/magazine creates another problem. On the website called haber7.com, which states in its publication principles that “believing in the universality of knowledge, he presents informative and educational publications with an obsessive approach free from prejudices for the development of society”, religious content is shared under the subtitle of Yasemin section Masiva. In this section, there is information on many subjects such as signs of doomsday, fortune-telling, torment in the grave, prayer on the eve, the virtue of the three months, the prayers of repentance, marriage, acts to ensure domestic peace, and wearing an evil eye bead. Masiva platform uses some visuals while sharing religious information. In this paper, the subject of mediatization of religion will be emphasized and the role of popular religion perception in sharing religious content will be touched upon. The religious content produced on the website haber7.com, which is considered to have a conservative broadcasting style, will be examined in terms of accuracy and reliability principles, especially about the three months among the occasions considered religious/blessed. In addition, the analysis of the data will be carried out in terms of the science of fiqh, especially hadith; in particular, the sources and authenticity values of the texts mentioned as hadith will be determined. The ultimate goal of the study is to identify some problematics such as the purpose, nature, source, accuracy and reliability of the information assumed to be religious, and to point out the points to be considered when using religious information as a means of information. On the other hand, magazine news that is softer rather than serious reporting, and generally focuses on the lives of celebrities, has come to the fore as an important means of escape from social reality in the pandemic period. In this study, the contents of magazine news in Turkey were examined during COVID-19 pandemic. In the study, the websites of hurriyet.com.tr, sabah.com.tr, sozcu.com.tr, and sampled during the period from April 11, when the curfews began, to May 11, were analyzed using content analysis. The obtained data were evaluated with statistical analysis. The data obtained were evaluated with statistical analysis, and as a result of the evaluation, it was observed that the magazine news crossed the boundaries between reality and fiction and that only 143 of the 1607 magazine news were related to COVID-19, which distanced the reader from social reality. In addition, in the analyzed news, it was determined that the relationship between discourse and reality could not be established and that the magazine news revealed serious issues superficially. Digital, La ejecución de esta práctica empresarial tiene como objetivo principal, presentar el diseño gráfico de un magazín digital para el proceso de planificación y gestión de la empresa electrificadora de Santander S.A. E.S.P., el cual permita reflejar la gestión y hechos destacables a nivel interno de la empresa. Para el logro de este resultado se realiza un benchmarking con empresas del sector energético a nivel nacional y departamental, para tomar mejores prácticas y así enriquecer las propuestas de bocetos. Seguidamente se elaboran bocetos de magazín, con los cuales se construye una encuesta que permita conocer el grado de aceptación de cada uno de los líderes del equipo y así tener la selección del diseño con el mayor resultado. Con base en todo lo definido se procede a la diagramación del magazín donde se tuvo en cuenta los principios de diseño gráfico, tomando como base el método de diseño que maneja la agencia de comunicación de la empresa, se determina colocar líneas de conexión y el uso de emoticones para identificar cada proceso, se usaron figuras de manera orgánica, generando una propuesta de innovación con lo cual se expone el producto final al equipo de planificación y gestión. Todo lo anterior permite concluir que es muy importante contar en las empresas con personas que tengan conocimiento y competencias específicas en diseño gráfico; dado que el enfoque de esta profesión, es precisamente ser el canal que conecta mediante la producción de una pieza publicitaria, un mensaje integral que se emite a través de los diversos canales de comunicación a sus receptores que son sus clientes o stakeholders., The main objective of the execution of this business practice is to present the graphic design of a digital magazine for the planning and management process of the Electrificadora de Santander S.A. E.S.P., which allows reflecting the management and notable events at the internal level of the company. To achieve this result, benchmarking is carried out with companies in the energy sector at the national and departmental levels, to take best practices and thus enrich the draft proposals. Next, magazine sketches are made, with which a survey is built that allows knowing the degree of acceptance of each of the team leaders and thus having the selection of the design with the best result. Based on everything defined, the layout of the magazine is proceeded where the principles of graphic design were taken into account, based on the design method handled by the company's communication agency, it is determined to place connection lines and the use of emoticons to identify each process, figures were used organically, generating an innovation proposal with which the final product is exposed to the planning and management team. The presented article is a continuation of the author's research on the history of the Book Chamber of Ukraine, devoted to the activities of the State Archive of the Press, the Methodical Council and the Editorial and Publishing Department of the institution. Last year's work on this topic was written for the 85th anniversary of the "Chronicle of Journal Articles" and revealed the problem of publishing this state bibliographic index in the Book Chamber ofUkraine. Working in accordance with this year's plan of scientific work, the author researched the publishing activities of the Book Chamber of Ukraine as of 1964. The purpose of this research is to conduct a content analysis of contemporary publications, their classification, identify key areas and priorities. The scientific novelty of the work is to attract underused materials of the internal departmental archive of the institution, elaboration of a rare to date (circulation of less than 4 thousand copies) decadal bibliographic bulletin "New Books of the USSR" in 1964 and personalization of publishing history within the Book Chamber of Ukraine. Following the principles and requirements of scientific methodology, the author relied on general (comparison, measurement (empirical), analysis, synthesis (complex), convergence from abstract to specific (theoretical)) and special (component-analytical, grouping) research methods. The source base for writing the article was the annual notebook of the New Books of the USSR, dated 1964. The content of the work contains a complete list of publications prepared and published by the Book Chamber of the Ukrainian SSR during 1964, and demonstrates their thematic and sectoral diversity. The concluding part of the article testifies to the fact that the publishing activity of the institution flourished as of 1964, arguing that in this case there was a clear Ukraine-centric orientation., Стаття є продовженням авторських досліджень з історії Книжкової палати України, присвячених діяльності Державного архіву друку, методичної ради та редакційно-видавничого відділу установи. Торішня праця з цієї тематики була написана до 85-річного ювілею покажчика "Літопис журнальних статей" та розкривала проблему видання цього державного бібліографічного покажчика у Книжковій палаті України. Працюючи відповідно до цьогорічного плану наукової роботи, авторка дослідила видавничу діяльність Книжкової палати України станом на 1964 р. Метою розвідки є проведення контент-аналізу тогочасних видань установи, їхньої класифікації, визначення ключових напрямів і пріоритетів цієї діяльності. Наукова новизна праці полягає в залученні маловживаних матеріалів внутрішнього відомчого архіву установи, опрацюванні раритетного на сьогодні (накладом менш ніж 4 тис. примірників) щодекадного бібліографічного бюлетеня "Нові книги УРСР" за 1964 р. та персоналізації історії видавничої справи в межах Книжкової палати України. Дотримуючись принципів і вимог наукової методології, авторка спиралася на загальні (порівняння, вимірювання (емпіричні), аналіз, синтез (комплексні), сходження від абстрактного до конкретного (теоретичні) та спеціальні (компонентно-аналітичний, групування) методи дослідження. Джерельною базою для написання статті став річний зшиток журналу "Нові книги УРСР", датований 1964 р. Змістовий складник праці уміщує повноцінний перелік видань, підготовлених та надрукованих Книжковою палатою УРСР упродовж 1964 р., та демонструє їх тематичне й галузеве розмаїття. Висновкова частина статті засвідчує факт розквіту видавничої діяльності установи станом на 1964 р. й аргументовано доводить, що в цій справі спостерігалася виразна україноцентрична спрямованість.

Das Ziel dieses Artikels ist es, den Beitrag der deutschbaltischen Autoren zur Schaffung und Weiterentwicklung der lettischen Schriftsprache zu untersuchen. Dabei steht die im 19. Jahrhundert gegründete Lettisch-literärische Gesellschaft zur Schaffung und Weiterentwicklung der lettischen Schriftsprache im Mittelpunkt des Interesses. Ein kurzer Einblick wird in die Frühgeschichte des geschriebenen Lettisch gegeben, dann werden die ersten Förderer der Schriftsprache benannt. Der größte Teil des Artikels befasst sich mit der Gründung und den Aktivitäten der Lettisch-literärischen Gesellschaft im Bereich der Planung und Pflege der lettischen Schriftsprache.

Die auf den englischen Prototypen »The Spectator« (1711-1714) zurückgehenden Moralischen Wochenschriften sind ein beliebtes Zeitschriftenmedium des 18. Jahrhunderts, mit dem kulturelles Wissen ko-konstruiert, gespeichert und in ganz Europa verbreitet wurde. Yvonne Völkl erschließt das spectatoriale - d.h. das in den Periodika auftretende - Geschlechterwissen und erforscht Konstruktion, Verbreitung und Wandel der stereotypen Diskurse über Frauen und Männer in den französisch- und spanischsprachigen Wochenschriften. Wie sich zeigt, haben die geschlechtsspezifischen Diskurse der Aufklärung bis heute nichts an ihrer Aktualität und Wirkung verloren.

Marshall McLuhan, John Fiske, John Hartley, Stuart Hall, John Ellis, Raymond Williams gibi televizyonu kendine özgü bir medyum olarak araştıran teorisyenler çeşitli ve birbirinden farklı yaklaşımlarda bulundular. Fakat bütün çeşitliliğine ve farklılığına rağmen bu teorileri televizyonun daha çok araçsal/yapısal, dilsel/metinsel ve çevresel özellikleri üzerine odaklaşan yaklaşımlar olarak ayrıştırmak mümkün gözükmektedir. Bir bütün olarak bakıldığında bu yaklaşımların hiçbirinin kendi başına televizyonun ne ve nasıl bir şey olduğu sorusunu yeterince açıklamaya yetmediği görülmektedir. Özellikle televizyonun hem içerik hem de biçimsel özellikleri bakımından gerçeklik algısını ve toplumsal davranışları nasıl etkilediği ve dönüştürdüğü sorusu gereğince incelenmemiş bir alan olarak gündem oluşturmaya devam etmektedir. Bu çalışma televizyonun bütününe hakim olan magazinsel yapısı ve sunduğu bilgilendirme biçimleri üzerine odaklanmakta ve böylece söz konusu açığın giderilmesine katkı sağlamaktadır.

Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde yazarın hayatı, yazarlığı ve eserleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise tespit edilen yüz yirmi metin “Basın ve Edebiyat”, “İnsanlar”, “Sosyal ve Siyasal Hayat” olmak üzere üç ana başlık altında değerlendirilmiş ve bu metinlerin incelemesi yapılmıştır. Kaynakça bölümünde yararlanılan kaynakların ve incelenen metinlerin künyeleri yer almaktadır. Tespit edilen metinler günümüz imla kurallarına göre düzenlenmiş ve kronolojik sırayla çalışmanın sonuna eklenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda bu metinlerin yayım yerine ve tarihine göre hazırlanmış iki listesine de ulaşılabilir. The master's thesis titled \"Mahmut Yesari's Articles Remaining in Newspapers and Magazines\" consists of the examination of the criticisms, essays and columns published by Mahmut Yesari in the newspapers and magazines of the period.In the first part of the study, information about the life, authorship and works of the author was given. In the second part, one hundred and twenty texts were evaluated under three main headings as \"Press and Literature\", \"People\", \"Social and Political Life\" and these texts were examined. In the bibliography section, the tags of the sources used and the texts examined are included. The determined texts were arranged according to today's spelling rules and added to the end of the study in chronological order. At the end of the study, two lists of these texts prepared according to the publication place and date can be reached.

The bachelor's thesis "Digital and traditional communication of fashion brands on the example of Dior chain" analyzes the communication strategy of this world-successful brand. The work should simply specify the very operation of the brand, but especially their communication activities. The aim is to examine the changes in communication strategies and to describe or rather identify the differences between traditional and digital communications. The intention is also to approach fashion marketing communication as such based on a descriptive analysis of the acquired knowledge. The work is divided into theoretical and analytical part. The theoretical part offers a better view and orientation in the topic, while the analytical part, based on qualitative research in the form of semi-structured interviews, helps to reach more detailed conclusions. The conclusions are derived because of descriptive analysis and synthesis of the obtained information and knowledge. Usted qué Opina?, es un proyecto de vida plasmado que surge desde una visión personal periodística como estudiante de Comunicación Social y Periodismo y desde la experiencia propia en el ejercicio del periodismo local y departamental, el cual desarrolla el deber social con la comunidad y busca aplicar un cambio al uso y trabajo en los medios de comunicación En este trabajo de grado se presenta la sistematización de la experiencia en la práctica profesional realizada durante seis meses en el primer semestre del 2021, en el programa de televisión Usted qué Opina? de autoría de la pasante y trasmitido por Tu Kanal Digital a través del sistema de televisión Max que tenía cobertura en los municipios El Espinal, Guamo y Agua de Dios. Por ende, en el marco teórico se realizó un análisis del contexto para tener en cuenta las categorías más representativas afines al proyecto, las cuales fueron: televisión local, ya que el programa Usted qué Opina? era trasmitido en un medio local; comunicación alternativa, dado que se usaron las redes sociales como Facebook para trasmitir las emisiones del programa; narrativas audiovisuales, puesto que se crearon imágenes y formatos audiovisuales producidas por el programa, teniendo en cuenta su formato televisivo con el fin de utilizarlas como apoyo para la información; audiencia, ya que son el público objetivo y para quien va dirigido el medio de comunicación; y por último, Magazine, ya que es el estilo del formato de Usted qué Opina? en el cual se estructuró todo el contenido a trasmitir. Posteriormente, para realizar un diagnóstico del estado inicial y necesidades para mejorar el programa Usted qué Opina? se utilizó la metodología Modelo de negocio Canva, que consistió en proyectar una visión empresarial y fue utilizada para identificar el problema a resolver del programa, luego se aplicó la metodología SMART, que consistió en establecer los objetivos del programa Usted qué Opina?, los cuales se llevaron a cabo de manera articulada con estrategias de comunicación y comerciales. Continuando, se aplicó la utilización de herramientas como encuestas, para conocer la opinión de la audiencia y así tener en cuenta los resultados para plantear estrategias que permitieran la estructuración del programa respetando su formato magazine, el medio de comunicación televisivo en el que se trasmitió, el tipo de información que se emitió, la cual se le dio una organización clara, dividiéndola en secciones y reforzándola con contenidos audiovisuales más constantes e inclusivos para hacer a la audiencia más participativa en los espacios brindados, además se logró consolidar a través de estrategias comerciales a Usted qué Opina? como un programa rentable económicamente y exequible al público. Esta sistematización permite recopilar toda la experiencia vivida en un programa televisivo de un medio de comunicación local, en un formato magazín que permite acercar al practicante a la realidad de un ambiente laboral y aplicar cambios significativos en su estructuración, usando diferentes métodos y estrategias para cumplir sus objetivos SMART planteados. Ewige Jugend ist ein uralter Menschheitstraum. Er war schon lange zur Ware geworden, bevor Anfang der 1990er-Jahre der Ausdruck "Anti-Aging" geprägt wurde. Das macht bereits ein flüchtiger Blick in die illustrierten Magazine der Weimarer Republik deutlich. In fast jeder Ausgabe finden sich Anzeigen, mit denen für den verjüngenden Effekt eines Nahrungsergänzungsmittels oder eines Hormonpräparats, einer Schönheitsoperation oder eines Fitnessprogramms geworben wurde. Hundertfach gewähren solche Anzeigen, die unter anderem von (inter)nationalen Kosmetik- und Pharmaherstellern, Privatkliniken und Kureinrichtungen in Auftrag gegeben wurden, einen Einblick in den Verjüngungsdiskurs der 1920er- und frühen 1930er-Jahre. Zudem zeugen sie von der raschen Expansion der damaligen Verjüngungsindustrie und belegen, wie sehr diese Industrie und die Weimarer Bilderblätter, die wie "kaum ein zweites Medium [...] die Befindlichkeiten der Epoche" spiegeln, voneinander profitierten.

Krebspatienten suchen häufig in Medien Informationen zu alternativen und komplementären Behandlungsmethoden (Complementary and Alternative Medicine - CAM). Die Medienberichterstattung darüber kann ihre Wahrnehmung und ihre Entscheidungen beeinflussen. Diese Studie analysiert die Berichterstattung über CAM in Zeitschriften, die sich explizit an Krebspatient(inn)en richten, und nutzt hierfür das Framing-Konzept. Die Arbeit entstand im Rahmen des Projekts Kompetenznetzwerk Komplementärmedizin in der Onkologie (KOKON), das von der Deutsche Krebshilfe finanziert wurde., Objective: Cancer patients frequently use media to search for information on Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM). Media coverage may influence their perception and decision making. Against the background of the framing concept, we analyze the portrayal of CAM in magazines that specifically address cancer patients. Methods: We conducted a quantitative content analysis of four highly circulated German cancer patient magazines (Befund Krebs, K-Journal Mensch & Krebs, Krebsmagazin, Leben? Leben!) that were available from November 2012 to April 2013. Results: In the sample of 39 articles, 137 CAM treatments were portrayed. Results show that the portrayal of CAM focuses on nutritional and metabolic approaches, exercise therapies and psychological approaches. It primarily takes a scientific perspective. CAM is mostly described in curative contexts and in a predominantly positive light. Explicit recommendations are rarely given. Conclusion: Patient education and informed decision‐making may be advanced by increasing journalists’ and medical professionals’ awareness for media coverage on CAM. Providers of mediated health information need to pay attention to a balanced and reflected portrayal of CAM. For healthcare and counselling professionals, pro‐active communication on media information is essential. Health communication research should address the interaction between patients, media information and medical experts.

»Der Bazar« war zwischen 1854 und 1900 eine der im Bürgertum bekanntesten und meistgelesenen Zeitschriften, die neben Themen wie Mode und Handarbeiten auch die Rolle der Frau diskutierte. Was ist die Natur der Frau? Welche Art der weiblichen Bildung ist angemessen? Welche Lebensentwürfe sind neben dem der Ehefrau und Mutter noch denkbar? Diese und weitere Fragen werden im »Bazar« über Jahrzehnte hinweg verhandelt. Anhand der von konservativ bis liberal reichenden Standpunkte untersucht Barbara Krautwald die sich darin widerspiegelnden sozialen Entwicklungen von generellem weiblichen Selbstverständnis bis hin zum Frauenstudium.

Illustrierte Zeitschriften entwickeln sich ab der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts zu den ersten Massenmedien der Moderne. Willi Wolfgang Barthold erforscht die Wechselwirkung der Literatur des Realismus mit diesem neuen medialen Kommunikationssystem und verbindet dabei Ansätze der Journalliteraturforschung und der Visual Culture Studies. Mit Hilfe einer Untersuchung sowohl kanonisierter als auch bisher kaum berücksichtigter Texte (von Wilhelm Raabe, Theodor Fontane, Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach und Balduin Möllhausen) zeigt er, wie sich der Realismus im intermedialen Spannungsfeld seiner Zeit positioniert und durch ein permanentes Hinterfragen der eigenen Wirklichkeitskonstruktionen ein Reflexionswissen produziert, das zur kritischen Beobachtung der entstehenden Massenmedien beiträgt.

34. Еволюція та соціологія розвитку журналу в Німеччині в XVII—XXI століттях

An article is written at the junction of the large sciences, namely a theory of the document science, a history of the press, a recent history of the publishing trade and lіbraries in Germany as well the modern directions of sociological researches such as socіology of the press, socіology of leisure as well sociology of migration. The objects of study are the processes of beginning and making of the magazine segment on the press market in XVII—XXI centuries and also a typology of readers ofthe magazines with a consideration of their demographіcal, psychological and social factors, finally by taking account of the complexіty of their іnformation needs. An author describes the various typologies of readers of the magazines that are developed in XXI century, and also makes a list of the criteria for the difference from other periodical, namely from a newspaper. A role and an extent of activity specific institutions on the market of magazines is by example of the publications for the general public perceptibled. By study of the statistical reports "Book and book trade in numbers" from 1995 to 2018 is a rating of reading of the magazines as a option to spend a leisure by people over 14 years of age explained. It is also elucidated during the study of the German-speaking publications in the field of socіology of the mіgratіon that up to now are practically absent scіentific researches that could describe a matter of employment of the print journals as well as their Internet editions by members of the certain socіal groups, minorities and migrants of all categories and generations who work, receive a specialized or high education and strive for successful іntegration and self-realization. In conclusion is the point on the forms of access to the Іnternet versions of print magazines and the possіble negatіve results of dіgitalizatіon. Theauthor comes to a conclusion that the emergence of Internet editions of the magazins brings in its train the need to tackle the problem of access to the texts based on the matter of copyright., Стаття має інтердисциплінарний характер і перебуває на межі теорії документознавства, історії преси, новітньої історії видавничої та бібліотечної справи Німеччини, а також вузькопрофільних напрямів актуальних соціологічних досліджень — соціології преси, соціології вільного часу та соціології міграції. Об'єктами вивчення є процеси зародження й становлення журнального сегмента ринку преси в XVII—XXI ст., типологія читачів журналів з урахуванням демографічних, психологічних і соціальних чинників з огляду на рівень складності їхніх інформаційних потреб. Автор схарактеризував окремі типології читачів журналів, розроблені в XXI ст., а також навів перелік критеріїв, що відрізняють журнал від іншого періодичного видання — газети. На прикладі видань для широкого загалу простежено роль і ступінь активності конкретних видавців на ринку журналів. На підставі аналізу статистичних збірників "Книга та книжкова торгівля в цифрах" за 1995—2018 рр. визначено рейтинг читання журналів як окремої опції проведення дозвілля особами не молодше 14 років. У процесі вивчення німецькомовних видань із питань соціології міграції з'ясовано, що наразі бракує наукових досліджень, що висвітлювали б проблеми використання друкованих журналів та їхніх інтернет-версій представниками певних соціальних груп і меншин, а також мігрантами різних категорій і поколінь, які працюють, здобувають професійну чи вищу освіту й прагнуть успішної інтеграції та самореалізації. Проаналізовано форми доступу до онлайн-версій паперових журналів і можливі негативні наслідки цифровізації. Автор дійшов висновку, що поява інтернет-версій журналів зумовлює потребу розв'язання проблеми доступу до текстів з огляду на питання авторського права.

Der Beitrag beschreibt ein Referenzmodell zur Bestimmung der Usability digitaler Fachmagazine, das Verlage dabei unterstützt, Produkte zu evaluieren und/oder so zu gestalten, dass die digitalen Eigenschaften einen für Leser wahrnehmbaren Nutzen aufweisen. Das Modell beruht auf einer mehrdimensionalen Zielgruppenanalyse und dem 5-Planes-Model zur User Experience. Die Autoren stellen ein empirisches Mehrmethodendesign zur Bestimmung eines Usability-Scores oder Reifegrades vor, mit dem das Modell derzeit anhand von acht Fachmagazinen getestet wird und das neben halboffenen Experteninterviews zahlreiche Elemente aus der Usability-Forschung wie z.B. Heuristische Evaluation und Eyetracking umfasst. Erste Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die vom Leser gewünschten Inhalte dabei keineswegs "just ONE click away" sind und sowohl pragmatische wie auch hedonische Qualität noch Verbesserungsbedarf aufweisen., The article describes a reference model for determining the usability of digital specialist journals that helps publishers to evaluate products and/or design them in such a way that the digital features support a benefit perceivable to readers. The model is based on a multidimensional target group analysis and the 5-planes model for user experience. The authors present an empirical multi-method design for the determination of a usability score or degree of maturity, with which the model is currently being tested on the basis of eight specialist journals and which, in addition to semi-open expert interviews, includes numerous elements from usability research such as heuristic evaluation and eye tracking. First results show that the content desired by the reader is by no means "just ONE click away" and that pragmatic as well as hedonic quality still needs improvement.

Gegen Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts gründete der Linzer Kaufmann Friedrich Tscherne zusammen mit anderen Gesellschaftern eine Petroleumraffinerie in Drösing, Niederösterreich. Der Standort neben der Kaiser-Ferdinands-Nordbahn lag für die Anlieferung der Rohstoffe aus Galizien sowie den Weitertransport der erzeugten Produkte nach Wien sehr günstig, da die Fracht innerhalb einer Strecke befördert und bearbeitet werden konnte. Nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg veränderten sich jedoch die territorialen und wirtschaftlichen Verhältnisse grundlegend und die einst gute Lage entwickelte sich zum Nachteil. Die Drösinger Raffinerie wurde zum Sorgenkind der neuen Eigentümer, konnte zeitweise verpachtet werden und wurde 1937 schließlich stillgelegt und stellenweise demontiert. Heute sind noch das Verwaltungs- und Direktionsgebäude, ein Arbeiterwohnhaus sowie das ehemalige Fabriksmagazin vorhanden. Letzteres ist zum Teil stark beschädigt und wird derzeit nicht wirklich genutzt. In der Diplomarbeit wird der historische Hintergrund der Drösinger Petroleumraffinerie und ihrer Umgebung erforscht und der Bestand dokumentiert. Darauf aufbauend wird für das ehemalige Magazingebäude ein Nachnutzungs- und Sanierungskonzept in Form eines architektonischen Entwurfes erstellt. Das Konzept sieht eine Nachnutzung als Seminarhotel vor., At the end of the 19th century Friedrich Tscherne, a merchant from Linz, opened a petroleum refinery together with other partners in the town of Drösing, Lower Austria. It was situated near The Emperor Ferdinand Northern Railway, which facilitated a linear production process between the acquisition of raw materials from Galicia and the transportation of the end products to Vienna. However, after World War One this site became disadvantageous due to subsequent territorial and economic changes. The refinery‘s future became uncertain. It was at times leased out by its owners and finally closed and partially torn down in 1937. The administrative and directorial building, a residential unit as well as the factory warehouse are all that remain of the refinery today. The latter has suffered considerable damage and is therefore currently not in use.This diploma thesis consists of an exploration of the historical background of the Drösing Refinery and its surroundings, as well as a documentation of the remaining buildings. Finally, building upon this research, a concept has been developed for the restoration and future usage of the abandoned former warehouse, resulting in an architectural design proposal. The concept envisages a seminar hotel for subsequent use.

Airborne simulation experiments showed that cotton masks, surgical masks, and N95 masks provide some protection from the transmission of infective SARS-CoV-2 droplets/aerosols; however, medical masks (surgical masks and even N95 masks) could not completely block the transmission of virus droplets/aerosols even when sealed., Guidelines from the CDC and the WHO recommend the wearing of face masks to prevent the spread of coronavirus (CoV) disease 2019 (COVID-19); however, the protective efficiency of such masks against airborne transmission of infectious severe acute respiratory syndrome CoV-2 (SARS-CoV-2) droplets/aerosols is unknown. Here, we developed an airborne transmission simulator of infectious SARS-CoV-2-containing droplets/aerosols produced by human respiration and coughs and assessed the transmissibility of the infectious droplets/aerosols and the ability of various types of face masks to block the transmission. We found that cotton masks, surgical masks, and N95 masks all have a protective effect with respect to the transmission of infective droplets/aerosols of SARS-CoV-2 and that the protective efficiency was higher when masks were worn by a virus spreader. Importantly, medical masks (surgical masks and even N95 masks) were not able to completely block the transmission of virus droplets/aerosols even when completely sealed. Our data will help medical workers understand the proper use and performance of masks and determine whether they need additional equipment to protect themselves from infected patients. IMPORTANCE Airborne simulation experiments showed that cotton masks, surgical masks, and N95 masks provide some protection from the transmission of infective SARS-CoV-2 droplets/aerosols; however, medical masks (surgical masks and even N95 masks) could not completely block the transmission of virus droplets/aerosols even when sealed.

ObjectivesTo understand the impact of COVID-19 on delivery and outcomes of primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI). Furthermore, to compare clinical presentation and outcomes of patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) with active COVID-19 against those without COVID-19.MethodsWe systematically analysed 348 STEMI cases presenting to the PPCI programme in London during the peak of the pandemic (1 March to 30 April 2020) and compared with 440 cases from the same period in 2019. Outcomes of interest included ambulance response times, timeliness of revascularisation, angiographic and procedural characteristics, and in-hospital clinical outcomesResultsThere was a 21% reduction in STEMI admissions and longer ambulance response times (87 (62–118) min in 2020 vs 75 (57–95) min in 2019, pConclusionThese findings suggest that PPCI pathways can be maintained during unprecedented healthcare emergencies but confirms the high mortality of STEMI in the context of concomitant COVID-19 infection characterised by a heightened state of thrombogenicity.

Ewige Jugend ist ein uralter Menschheitstraum. Er war schon lange zur Ware geworden, bevor Anfang der 1990er-Jahre der Ausdruck "Anti-Aging" geprägt wurde. Das macht bereits ein flüchtiger Blick in die illustrierten Magazine der Weimarer Republik deutlich. In fast jeder Ausgabe finden sich Anzeigen, mit denen für den verjüngenden Effekt eines Nahrungsergänzungsmittels oder eines Hormonpräparats, einer Schönheitsoperation oder eines Fitnessprogramms geworben wurde. Hundertfach gewähren solche Anzeigen, die unter anderem von (inter)nationalen Kosmetik- und Pharmaherstellern, Privatkliniken und Kureinrichtungen in Auftrag gegeben wurden, einen Einblick in den Verjüngungsdiskurs der 1920er- und frühen 1930er-Jahre. Zudem zeugen sie von der raschen Expansion der damaligen Verjüngungsindustrie und belegen, wie sehr diese Industrie und die Weimarer Bilderblätter, die wie "kaum ein zweites Medium [...] die Befindlichkeiten der Epoche" spiegeln, voneinander profitierten.
