Orta Karadeniz sırtını içeren çalışma alanının gravite anomali haritasında, Sinop ve Doğu Karadeniz havzalarında negatif, Archangelsky Sırtı üzerinde pozitif gravite anomalisi gözlenmektedir. Sinop ve Doğu Karadeniz havzasında gravite anomali değerleri sırasıyla 50 ve 30 mGal civarında iken, Archangelsky Sırtı üzerinde ise 100 mGal civarındadır. Bölgenin tektonik yapısını belirlemek için Bouguer gravite verisinin tam yatay türevleri hesaplanmış ve en büyük yatay türev genlikleri haritalanmıştır. 3.00-6.50 mGal/km arasındaki yatay türev değerlerini gösteren çizgisellikler Archangelsky Sırtı’nı Sinop ve Doğu Karadeniz havzalarından ayıran KB-GD yönlü ana tektonik yapıyı ortaya koymuştur. Sırtın her iki kanadında, sırta paralel uzanan ve orta büyüklükteki yatay türev değerleri ile ifade edilen paralel çizgisellikler ise, Doğu Karadeniz havzası içine doğru tortul birimleri etkileyen birbirlerine paralel normal faylarla ayrılan bloklar olarak yorumlanmıştır. Özellikle düşey ikinci türev haritasında birbirine paralel KB-GD yönlü iki pozitif anomalinin Archangelsky Sırtı boyunca uzandığı gözlenmiş ve daha düşük genliğe sahip kuzeydeki uzunlamasına anomali, sırtın ikincil yükselimi olarak yorumlanmıştır. Güç spektrumu yöntemiyle çalışma alanında Moho derinliği 29.5 km, Conrad süreksizliğinin derinliği 11.2 km ve tortul katmanın derinliği ise 4.2 km olarak hesaplanmıştır. Ayrıca, 3B ters çözüm işlemi sonucunda Sinop havzasında Kretase yaşlı tortul temelin derinliğinin 4 km’ye kadar ulaştığı anlaşılmış, Archangelsky sırtı üzerinde yaklaşık 1 km kalınlığında tortul birikimin varlığı tespit edilmiştir.

Doğu Pontid orojenik kuşağı kuzeyden güneye doğru litoloji ve fasiyes değişimlerine göre kuzey, güney ve eksen olmak üzere üç alt zona ayrılmaktadır. Doğu Pontidlerin paleotektoniği ile neotektoniğinde önemli rol oynayan KD–GB-, KB–GD- ve D–B-yönlü kırık sistemleri bu zonları birbirinden ayırmaktadır. Doğu Pontid Orojenik Kuşağı’nın kabuk yapısını gravite verisi ile belirlemek için üç farklı yöntem kullanılmıştır. Bunlar (i) moho derinliği ile gravite anomalisi arasında geliştirilen ampirik bağıntı; (ii) güç spektrumu analizi ve (iii) gravite ters özüm yöntemleridir. Güç spektrumu yöntemi istatistiksel bir yaklaşım olup jeolojik yapıların derinliğinin başarılı bir şekilde tespitinde yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Bouguer anomalisi ile sismik yöntemle tespit edilmiş kabuk kalınlığı arasında geliştirilmiş doğrusal ampirik ilişkiler mevcuttur. Doğu Pontidlerin kabuk yapısı 39° boylamı boyunca alınan gravite profiline ters çözüm yöntemi uygulanarak belirlenmiştir. Ters çözüm sonuçları ampirik bağıntılar ve güç spektrumu yöntemiyle elde edilen değerlerle uyumludur. Ters çözüm yöntemi kullanılarak çalışma sahasında maksimum kabuk kalınlığı 43.8 km olarak hesaplanmıştır. Bu çalışma inceleme alanında kabuk kalınlığının kuzeyden güneye doğru arttığını ortaya koymaktadır. Power spectrum, a statistical approach, is a widely used technique to determine the depth of geological sources successfully. The empirical linear relations between the Bouguer anomalies and seismically determined crustal thicknesses have been used to compute depths to the Conrad and Moho discontinuities, which are consistent with the average depths obtained from the power spectrum method. The crustal structure was also determined from the inversion of a Bouguer anomaly profile along longitude 39°. Gravity inversion results are consistent with those obtained from the empirical relations and power spectrum methods. We calculated the maximum crustal thickness of 43.8 km in the studied region by using the gravity inversion method, which also showed that crustal thickness increases from north to south.

Karadeniz sahili boyunca uzanan Doğu Pontid aktif kıta kenarı litoloji ve fasiyes birliklerine göre kuzeyden güneye doğru kuzey, güney ve eksen zonu olmak üzere üç alt tektonik birlikten oluşmaktadır. Arap-Afrika plakasının Avrasya plakasına göre sol yönlü yanal hareketi ve Atlantik Okyanusunun açılması Doğu Pontidlerin jeolojik evrimini kontrol etmiştir. Bu bölgede KD, KB ve D-B yönlü kırık sistemleri bu üç zonu birbirinden ayırmakta ve Doğu Pontidlerin aktif tektoniğinde önemli rol oynamaktadır. Bu çalışmada bölgenin tektonik yapısı, Moho topografyası ve Curie noktası derinliği belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Doğu Pontidlerin üç farklı zonunun tektoniğini kontrol eden fay sistemlerini belirlemek için gravite verilerinin yatay türev haritası oluşturulmuştur. Gravite anomali verilerinin yatay türev haritasında bir çok çizgisellik görülmektedir. D-B, KD ve KB yönünde uzanan bu çizgiselliklerin Doğu Pontid kıtasal kabuğunun büyük yapısal zonlarını gösterdiği anlaşılmaktadır. Bölgenin kabuk yapısını belirlemek için istatiksel bir yaklaşım tekniği olan Güç Spektrumu yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu yöntem frekans ortamında anomalilerin spektrumları ile kaynağın derinliği arasında bir ilişki sunmaktadır. Güç Spektrumu yöntemi Moho ve Curie noktası derinliğini tespit etmek için Doğu Pontid Orojenik Kuşağının gravite ve manyetik verilerine uygulanmıştır. Doğu Pontidlerde Moho derinliği 35.6 km ile 45.1 km arasında değişmektedir. Diğer yandan Curie noktası derinliğinin ise 17.4 km ile 31.2 km değerleri arasında değiştiği tespit edilmiştir. Moho yüzeyini belirlemek için ayrıca gravite ters çözüm yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Güç Spektrumu analizinden elde edilen derinlikler ile gravite ters çözüm yönteminden belirlen Moho derinliği arasında iyi bir uyum olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Left lateral movement of the Arabian-African plates with respect to Eurasia plate and opening of Atlantic Ocean controlled the geologic evolution of the Eastern Pontides. In this area NE, NW and E-W trending fault systems separate these three zones and play an important role in active tectonic of the Eastern Pontides. In this study, the tectonic structure, Moho topography and depth of Curie point of the region were tried to determine. To find out the fault systems that control the tectonics of these three different zones of the Eastern Pontides, the horizontal gradient map of the gravity data was prepared. A number of lineaments are seen on the horizontal gradient map of the gravity anomaly data. It is deduced that these lineaments trending E-W, NE and NW directions must separate the major structural zones of continental crust of Eastern Pontides. To estimate the crustal s tincture of the region, the power spectrum method, a statistical approaching technique, was used. This method provides a relationship between spectrum of the anomalies and the depth of sources in the frequency domain. The Power spectrum method was applied to bouguer gravity and magnetic data of the Eastern Pontide Orogenic Belt, respectively, to determine the Moho and Curie point depth. In the Eastern Pontides, the depth of Moho varies from 35.6 km to 45.1 km. On the other hand, it is determined that the Curie point depth changes between 17.4 and 31.2 km. The gravity inversion method was also used to investigate the Moho surface. It is determined that there is a good agreement between the depths obtained from power spectra analysis and depth of the Moho estimated from the gravity inversion. ÖZET İnceleme alanı Doğu Anadolu'nun kuzeyinde yer almakta ve Erzurum, Horasan, Pasinler olmak üzere üç ayrı havzayı kapsamaktadır. Bölgede yapılan çalışmalar bölgenin petrol açısından perspektif bir bölge olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Petrol ve gaz haznelerinin gravite anomalisi, çok zayıf olarak ortaya çıktığından, hidrokarbon arama amaçlı gravite etütlerinde, gravite verilerinin özel olarak işlenmesi gerekmektedir. Andreev-Griffin yöntemi gravite verilerinin hidrokarbon aramalarında kullanımına yönelik yöntemlerden birisidir, Bu yöntem ilk kez Andreev tarafından bir profil boyunca alınmış yüksek duyarlılıktaki gravite verilerinden yer altının Jeolojik kesitinin yoğunluk değişimlerinin ortaya çıkardığı lokal anomalileri belirlemek amacıyla teklif edilmiştir. Andreev-Griffin dönüşümünde rejyonal alan r yarıçap değeri bölgenin jeolojik yapısına, tahmin edilen anomalinin derinliğine bağlı olarak seçilmekte ve ölçüm (grid) aralığının birkaç katı olabilmektedir. Anomaliler yarıçapa bağlı olarak z=0.5r ve z=0.7r derinlikleri arasında bulunan anomal yoğunluk değişim etkilerini göstermektedir. Çalışma alanı gravite verileri petrol haznelerinin bulunabileceği derinlikler için yukarıdaki kriterler ışığında yarıçaplar kullanılarak Andreev-Griffin dönüşümü uygulanmış ve bölgenin lokal anomali haritaları elde edilmiş ve petrol arama açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Değişik şekilli üç boyutlu yapıların gravite alanlarının Andreev-Griffin dönüşümünden elde edilen belirtileri arazi verilerinden elde edilen anomali değerlerinin yorumlanması için kullanılmıştır. Modelleme sonucu üç boyutlu basit ve karmaşık hazneli ve haznesiz yapıların gravite verilerine Andreev-Griffin yönteminin uygulanması hazneli modellerde hazne üzerinde elde edilen anomalilerde düşüş olduğunu göstermiştir. Hidrokarbon haznesi üzerinde ölçülen gravite anomalilerinden bu transform sonrası elde edilen nispi minimum anomaliler hazne yerlerinin belirlenmesini sağlar. It was put forward a perspective region point of view of hydrocarbon from some studies. Since gravity anomalies of oil and gas reservoirs are weak, they need special processing in the gravity studies for hydrocarbon exploration Andreev-Griffin method is used for exploration of hydrocarbon by examined gravity data. This method has been proposed by Griffin to determine the local anomaly composed of density variation of the geological seçtin of the crust from detail gravity survey over the one profile. Radius (r) with cycle used in this method is selected to depend on the geological structure of the region, the estimated depth of the anomaly and it may be several times the interval of the grid. Anomalies due to radius indicate the effects of anormal density variations between z=0.5 r and z=0.7 r depths. Under the above critters, since the depths had oil reservoirs of gravity data of study area is examined Andreev-Griffin transform with various radios and the local anomaly maps of the region are obtained then it is evaluated due to exploration. Andreev-Griffin transforms of different 3-D shape structures obtained sings are used to interpretation of the anomaly values taken field data. The gravity data of the complex and simple 3-D reservoir and non-reservoir models show a decrease over the reservoir when using the Andreev-Griffin method. The anomaly on the oil reservoir has minimum values. The relative minimum anomalies calculated from the gravity anomalies surveyed over the hidrocarbon reservoirs with the AG method gives the reservoir locations.
