Penelitian ini bertujuan unuk membahas bagaimana pihak Ulaman Eco Retreat dalam menjual kamar di masa pandemi covid-19. Pandemi covid-19 berdampak buruk bagi sektor pariwisata khususnya dibali yang mengakibatkan penurunan occupancy. Bedasarkan uraian tersebut maka penelitian ini merumuskan permasalahan berupa Bagaimana strategi penjualan kamar di Ulaman Eco Retreat di masa pandemi covid-19. Dalam pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan cara wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Yaitu mengajukan pertanyaan secara langsung kepada pihak Ulaman Eco Retreat serta mengamati secara langsung bagaimana strategi penjualan kamar disana selama masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif yaitu menjelaskan secara rinci mengenai hasil wawancara yang di dapat serta keseluruhan data yang ditemui dengan teori yang digunakan yaitu analisis SWOT serta populasi dan sampel. Hasil dari penelitian yang didapat yaitu berupa strategi yang dilakukan Ulaman Eco Retreat dalam melakukan penjualan kamar di masa pandemi covid-19. Beberapa strategi yang dilakukan diantaranya melakukan promosi pada platform digital, serta promosi pada pihak agent yang telah bekerja sama. Selain itu hal yang dapat meningkatkan penjualan kamar yaitu desain interior yang unik berupa bangunan yang terbuat dari bambu. This study aims to discuss how Ulaman Eco Retreat sells rooms during the covid-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on the tourism sector, especially in Bali, resulting in a decrease in occupancy. Based on this description, this study formulates a problem in the form of how to sell rooms at Ulaman Eco Retreat during the covid-19 pandemic. In collecting data in this study using interviews, documentation, and observation. Namely asking questions directly to the Ulaman Eco Retreat and observing firsthand how the room sales strategy there during the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis technique that describes in detail the results of the interviews obtained and the overall data encountered with the theory used, namely SWOT analysis as well as population and samples. The results of the research obtained are in the form of a strategy carried out by Ulaman Eco Retreat in selling rooms during the covid-19 pandemic. Some of the strategies carried out include promoting on digital platforms, as well as promotions to agents who have collaborated. In addition, things that can increase room sales are unique interior designs in the form of buildings made of bamboo.

Kepuasan tamu merupakan hal utama yang harus diperhatikan dan membutuhkan komitmen serta tanggung jawab dari manajemen dan karyawan (pramusaji) dengan memberikan pelayanan yang berkualitas, sehingga dapat menciptakan kepuasan tamu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kualitas pelayanan pramusaji terhadap tingkat kepuasan tamu di Ma joly restaurant, The Sandi Phala Hotel Kuta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh tamu yang berkunjung ke Ma Jolly Restaurant pada bulan Agustus- Desember 2020. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Accidental sampling, dan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 30 tamu Ma Jolly Restaurant. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik Analisis Regresi Linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kualitas pelayanan pramusaji (X) berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan tamu (Y) di Ma Jolly Restaurant. Untuk dapat meningkatkan kepuasan tamu maka pramusaji harus mempertahankan kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan agar tetap baik sehingga tamu akan puas terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan.

Literasi saham adalah kegiatan sosialisasi dan pembelajaran tentang saham yang dilakukan oleh Institut Pariwisata dan bisnis Internasional kepada umum dan civitas akademi. Dalam kegiatan memberikan literasi, Galeri Investasi Institut Pariwisata dan Bisnis International bekerjasama dengan MNC Securitas. Tujuan penulisan ini yang pertama adalah untuk membahas bagaimanakah literasi saham yang diberikan pada karyawan hotel berbintang di sekitar Kawasan wisata Sanur. Tujuan yang kedua adalah menjelaskan manfaat berinvestasi saham, dan peluang meningkatkan kesejahteraan secara financial. Metode penelitian yang dipakai pada penelitian ini menggunakan kajian literatur textbook, beberapa situs terkait, postingan sosial media, website, dan artikel. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa gallery investasi memiliki peran penting dalam literasi saham di IPB Internasional, yang mencakup bimbingan, kegiatan memberikan literasi finasial terutama investasi saham, menyediakan bahan pustaka, serta sebagai media promosi. Kegiatan in diharapkan mampu menciptakan pemahaman yang lebih baik terkait investasi finansial bagi para pekerja di industry hospitality.

This community service activity is a collaboration between IPB International and DPD HILLSI (Association of Indonesian Private Training Institution) Bali which supervise the Job Training Centers in Bali. This activity was held to respond to an urgent need related to distance training that was held as a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic. This distance training needs transformation of training media from conventional to digital. The participants of this community service activity are instructors from Job Training Centre of the tourism and hospitality sector in Bali. This activity, which was held for 3 days, focusing on the development of digital-based media in accordance with current needs. The method of this training was not only lecturing, but also discussion and give many opportunities for the participants to practice their skill, and presenting their media. Participants were given the opportunity to work on a project to make several training media which were presented at the end of the training. To support the project, all participants were provided with supporting facilities, such as internet quota, modules, and clip microphones. After participating this training, participants have understanding of the importance of media in a competency-based training, able to create various digital-based training medias, and distance learning quality improvement.

Penelitian tentang sumber daya manusia pariwisata ini berjudul Nilai Kearifan Lokal Bali pada Karyawan Hotel di Kabupaten Badung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang dilakukan di daerah tujuan wisata di Bali yaitu daerah Badung. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket, dan studi kepustakaan. Periode penelitian akan dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2020 – Desember 2020. Adapun subjek penelitian yang ditentukan adalah sejumlah 100 karyawan hotel di Kabupaten Badung. Kabupaten Badung dipilih sebagai lokasi penelitian dengan beberapa pertimbangan: 1) Badung merupakan kabupaten yang paling pesat pertumbuhan pariwisatanya di Bali, 2) Pertumbuhan jumlah hotel di daerah ini relative pesat, 3) Budaya yang dimiliki karyawan hotel di Kabupaten Badung perlu dianalisis untuk pengembangan produk (pelayanan). Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori nilai budaya dari Hofstede. Angket (kuesioner) yang digunakan merujuk kepada VSM (Value Survey Mudule) yang dikembangkan oleh Hofstede. Mengingat provinsi Bali mengandalkan sektor pariwisata untuk penghasilan utama daerahnya, maka penelitian ini penting dilakukan karena sumber daya manusia merupakan komponen yang penting dalam sebuah pelayanan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan beberapa informasi tentang nilai kearifan lokal pada karyawan hotel di Kabupaten Badung.

The research on this tourism human resource is titled Comparison of Employee Culture value hotels in Seminyak and Ubud. This research is a quantitative study conducted in two tourist destinations in Bali namely Seminyak and Ubud area. Data collection techniques are carried out by distribution of polls, and literature studies. The research period will be held in August 2019 – October 2019. As for the research subject specified is a number of each of the 60 employees of the hotel in both areas. Seminyak and Ubud area were chosen as the location of the research with several considerations: 1) Seminyak and Ubud are the main tourist destinations in Bali, 2) The growth of the number of hotels in both regions is equally fast, 3) the culture owned by hotel employees In Seminyak and Ubud need to be analyzed for product development (service). The theory used in the study was the cultural value theory of Hofstede. Angket (questionnaire) used to refer to VSM (Value Survey Mudule) developed by Hofstede. Since the province of Bali relies on the tourism sector for its region's major income, the research is important because human resources are an important component of the service. This research resulted in several findings on the similarities and differences in the value of hotel employees ' culture in Seminyak and Ubud areas.

This research on tourism human resources is entitled The role of tourism business in the application of Balinese cultural values to hotels in Badung. Badung Regency was chosen as the research location with several considerations: 1) Badung is the district with the fastest tourism growth in Bali, 2) The growth in the number of hotels in this area is followed by a growth in the number of hotel employees, 3) The culture of hotel employees in Badung Regency needs to be maintained. Considered that the province of Bali relies on the tourism sector for its main regional income, this research is important because the application of local wisdom to tourism human resources is an important component in a service. This study produces information about the role of tourism/hotel business actors in the application of local wisdom values in hotels in Badung Regency. This research includes descriptive research by utilizing a qualitative approach. In this study, the authors explore data and information about the role of the tourism industry in implementing local cultural values in running their business. The stages carried out in this study 1) Identify Balinese cultural values applied by tourism actors (hotel employees) in Badung, 2) identify the role of tourism business people in the application of local culture as a strategy to increase the superior value of tourism business services.

This study aims to identify the quality of marine tourism products which are limited to indicators of Attractions, Accessibility, Amenities, and Ancilary on Tanjung Benoa marine tourism destinations, knowing the socio-demographic conditions of tourists who come to Tanjung Benoa marine tourism destinations, as well as contributing marine tourism development strategies in Tanjung Benoa. Based on the purpose of this study, several theories, concepts and literature studies referred to this study include the concept of tourism, marine tourism, product quality (tourist attraction), product development. Meanwhile, the research method that used in this study was descriptive analysis about the conditions of Attractions, Accessibility, Amenities, and Ancilary in marine tourism on the Tanjung Benoa beach. Direct observation and distribution of questionnaire for the tourists in the Tanjung Benoa area was carried out to directly assess the object of research at this location. The analysis of secondary data consist of the number and condition of facilities and infrastructure assessed from the perception of tourists. As the result of the problem formulation in this study, it could be obtained the data or information about the condition of attraction quality, amenities and activities in Tanjung Tanjung Benoa marine tourism, and contributes to the development strategy of the tourism area. The results of this study could be used to develop marine tourism in the Tanjung Benoa tourist area which is expected to be a quality and sustainable marine tourism area. This study aims to identify the impact of tourism development on the social and economic conditions of the coastal community of Sanur, Bali.Based on the objectives of this research, several theories, concepts and literature studies referred to in the concept of tourism, the principles of tourism development, and the concept of tourism impacts. Meanwhile, the research method used was descriptive analysis of the social and economic conditions of Sanur Beach community. Direct observation and interviews of village leaders and Sanur coastal communities were conducted to be able to assess directly the existing conditions. From the results of observations and interviews, the data were processed and displayed in the form of narration and tables. By answering problem formulation from this research, the obtained data or information could be classified into positive and negative impact to social life and economics of local community, and contribute strategy to minimize negative impact of tourism to society social and economy in Sanur Beach.

The island of Bali is famous as one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Thus, the development of Bali tourism from year to year is strongly influenced by various factors. Culture becomes an important factor for tourists choosing Bali as their preferred tourist destination. In order to support the tourism, the human resource also becoming the significant aspect that need to be taken into account. Given the importance of the role of human resources in the tourism sector, especially in the hospitality subsector, this study analyzed the value of Bali's local wisdom among star hotels in Badung regency. this study also wanted to find out how the phenomenon of local wisdom value in Bali, especially in Badung regency. Identification of the value of local Balinese wisdom is expected to gain contribution of ideas and thought in human resource development to the hospitality sub-sector in Bali in general, and Badung Regency in particular. Through literature studies and questionnaire consisted of 34 questions to measure the six cultural dimension such as Power Distance, Individualism vs. Collectivity, Masculinity vs. Femininity, Uncertainty Avoidance, Long-term orientation vs. Short-term orientation, and Indulgence vs. Restraint, the data then analysed through the VSM (value survey module) developed. The results shows that Badung regency’s star hotels’ employees have a culture with a high level of collectivism, shows a low power distance value, tend to have Feminine culture, have a culture with a relatively low level of Uncertainty Avoidance

Interaksi antara pedagang dengan para wisatawan asing menarik untuk diteliti. Para pedagang yang umumnya berlatar belakang budaya Bali dan sebagian besar berlatar belakang pendidikan dasar ini setiap harinya melakukan komunikasi dengan para wisatawan yang memiliki bahasa dan budaya yang berbeda. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Bagaimana pola komunikasi lintas budaya pedagang lokal dengan wisatawan asing dalam berkomunikasi di Pantai Sanur? (2) Faktor-faktor apa saja yang menjadi pendukung dan penghambat pedagang lokal dengan wisatawan asing dalam berkomunikasi di Pantai Sanur? Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di wilayah Pantai Sanur, yang meliputi daerah Semawang, Sindu, dan Padang Galak. Adapun informan penelitian ditentukan secara purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria tertentu. Tipe penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pada penelitian ini dipaparkan konsep pola komunikasi, proses adaptasi lintas budaya, komunikasi interpersonal, perilaku dalam komunikasi, konsep komunikasi lintas budaya. Model komunikasi lintas budaya dari para pedagang lokal dengan para wisatawan asing bahwa para pedagang menggunakan komunikasi dengan bahasa non-verbal seperti misalnya lambaian tangan, jabatan tangan, senyuman dan tatapan mata. Pedagang lokal juga menggunakan bahasa verbal yaitu dengan menggunakan kalimat bahasa Inggris yang pendek dan tanpa memperhatikan pola bahasa Inggris yang benar. Beberapa hal yang menjadi pendukung komunikasi lintas budaya antara pedagang dengan wisatawan asing adalah faktor budaya pedagang di Pantai Sanur yang memiliki karakter terbuka dan ramah terhadap orang asing. Faktor lainnya adalah faktor kebutuhan ekonomi yang mengharuskan para pedagang berusaha berkomunikasi dengan para pendatang. Sedangkan yang dianggap sebagai faktor penghambat adalah minimnya penguasaaan bahasa Inggris yang baik dan benar. Serta kurangnya pemahaman akan perlunya pelayanan prima terhadap para wisatawan.
