Objective To observe the curative effect of massage technique and acupoint application in treating constipation after stroke. Methods Totally 78 patients with acute constipation after cerebral infarction were selected, divided into control group, acupoint application group (Acupoint application group) and massage treatment group (massage group), among which 22 patients in control group, 31 patients in application group and 25 patients in massage group. The control group patients received integrative medicine treatment and nursing. On this basis, the massage group patients received acupoint massage technique; the Acupoint application group patients were given Traditional Chinese Medicine Shenque acupoint application. The defecation situation of the three groups was observed daily for 2 weeks, and the defecation frequency of the three groups was compared with the 7th and 14th day of treatment. Barthel Index was used to evaluate the activity of daily living of patients before discharge from hospital. The cultivation of Auricularia heimuer, a species of edible mushroom, heavily relies on the availability of wood resources serving as substrate for the growth of the species. To ensure the sustainable development of the A. heimuer industry and optimize the utilization of corncob as a substrate, this study sought to investigate the potential use of corncob as a substrate for the cultivation of A. heimuer. The purpose of this study was to explore the utilization of corncob lignocellulose by A. heimuer at the mycelium, primordium, and fruiting stages, by specifically examining the expression profiles of both carbohydrate-active enzymes (CAZymes) and the transcriptome of differentially expressed genes (DEGs) relevant to corncob biomass degradation. The results revealed 10,979, 10,630, and 11,061 DEGs at the mycelium, primordium, and fruiting stages, respectively, while 639 DGEs were identified as carbohydrate-active enzymes. Of particular interest were 46 differentially expressed CAZymes genes that were associated directly with lignocellulose degradation. Furthermore, the study found that A. heimuer exhibited adaptive changes that enabled it to effectively utilize the cellulose present in the corncob. These changes were observed primarily at the primordium and fruiting stages. Key genes involved in lignocellulose degradation were also identified, including g6952, g8349, g12487, and g2976 at the mycelium stage, g5775, g2857, g3018, and g11016 at the primordium stage, and g10290, g2857, g12385, g7656, and g8953 at the fruiting stage. This study found that lytic polysaccharide monooxygenase (LPMO) played a crucial role in the degradation of corncob cellulose, further highlighting the complexity of the molecular mechanisms involved in the degradation of lignocellulose biomass by A. heimuer. The study sheds light on the molecular mechanisms underlying the ability of A. heimuer to degrade corncob biomass, with implications for the efficient utilization of lignocellulose resources. Objective To observe the effect of cupping therapy with Chinese herbal decoction in the treatment of extremity dysfunction among patients with wind-phlegm obstruction type stroke. Methods Totally 90 patients with wind-phlegm obstruction type stroke were randomly divided into the control group and observation group, with 45 cases in each group. All patients received routine treatment and nursing, and those in the observation group were given cupping therapy with Chinese herbal decoction in treating extremity dysfunction. The intervention effect was evaluated by Traditional Chinese Medicine symptom integral. Scores of NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA)and Barthel Index (BI) were compared between two groups. Results The overall response rate in the observation group was 97. 78%(44/45), which was higher than 80. 00%(36/45) in the control group (P＜0. 01). The FMA score and BI in the observation group were higher than those in the control group ( P＜0. 01 ) , and NIHSS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group ( P＜0. 01 ). Patients in the observation group had higher dimension scores of Vitality, Role Physical, Role Emotional and Social Functioning compared with those in the control group ( P＜0. 01 ). Conclusion Based on the routine treatment, the cupping therapy with Chinese herbal decoction is effective to relieve the extremity dysfunction among patients with wind-phlegm obstruction type stroke, improve the rehabilitation of neurological and motor function, and improve patient’ quality of life. Objective To investigate the effect of targeted nursing interventions for urine leakage after indwelling catheter placement in patients with cerebrovascular disease. Methods Totally 60 cerebrovascular disease patients with urine leakage after placement of indwelling catheter were divided into the observation group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and observation group was given targeted nursing interventions in addition to routine management. The intervention efficacy and patients' satisfaction were evaluated and compared between two groups. Results The total effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (96. 67% vs. 73. 33%, P＜0. 05). Satisfaction degree of patients in the observation group was higher than that of patients in the control group (P＜0. 05). Conclusion The targeted nursing intervention according to the causes of urine leakage was effective to leakage control and prevention of urinary tract infection in cerebrovascular disease patients with indwelling catheters . In this study, the influence of U-bends on the flow and pressure propagation characteristics of a gas–liquid two-phase flow in upstream and downstream straight pipes was investigated experimentally. The superficial velocities of the gas and liquid are 0.18–25.11 m/s and 0.20–1.98 m/s, respectively, covering plug flow, slug flow, and annular flow. The experiments were conducted in U-tubes with inner diameters of 9 mm and 12 mm and with a curvature ratio of 8.33. The U-tube was C-shaped. The pressure fluctuations at the axial measurement points of the straight tubes were measured. Flow images of the distal straight tubes and U-bends were obtained. The disturbance from U-bends in the two-phase flow in the vicinity of the bend is very obvious. The perturbation from U-bends in the fluid in the adjacent straight tubes is highly related to the incoming flow pattern. The slug flow has the most significant influence, whereas the effects of the plug and annular flows are small. Fundamentally, it mainly depends on the weight relationship between the gravity, centrifugal force, and inertial force of the gas–liquid two-phase fluid. The pressure fluctuation propagates in the form of a wave with the same dominant frequency in the straight pipes of the U-tube. The pressure pulsation energy in the straight tubes strengthens with decreasing distance from the 180° return bend. In addition, the pressure fluctuation energy downstream of the U-bend is greater than that upstream of the return bend. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Auricularia heimuer is among China's most important edible mushrooms and is rich in gum. With the improvement of people's quality of life, demand is increasing for high-quality and good-tasting food; thus, the texture of A. heimuer is the focus of increasing attention. In this study, we added extra markers to a previously constructed genetic linkage map to generate a high-density genetic linkage map of A. heimuer, resolved the attributes of substrate quality-related traits, and performed quantitative trait locus (QTL) localization. The original genetic linkage map was improved by adding two new linkage groups, merging seven linkage groups into three linkage groups, and increasing the average linkage distance and total linkage estimated length. We anchored the 142 scaffolds of the genome to the improved genetic linkage map. In total, 15 significant QTLs controlling four quality-related traits were detected. Gumminess and chewiness, and cohesiveness and resilience, were linked. Three genes controlled cohesiveness and resilience; one gene controlled gumminess and chewiness. In conclusion, this study lays the foundation for gene localization and chromosome assembly in A. heimuer, elucidation of the mechanism of substrate quality-related trait formation, and provides a basis for precision breeding of A. heimuer.
