In order to extend the dielectronic recombination (DR) experiments from the main cooler storage ring CSRm with intermediate charge state ions to the experimental cooler storage ring CSRe with highly charged ions and even radioactive ions, a test electron‐ion recombination experiment of B‐like Ar13+ ions was performed with a section of the new electron beam energy detuning system, which will be installed at the CSRe. We present the measured and also the calculated DR spectra for the ∆n = 0 resonances from 0 to 3 eV. The experimental results agree very well with the previous DR experimental data from CRYRING, and the energy resolution reached 30 meV full width at half maximum. This test experiment demonstrates that the reliability and stability of the newly developed electron beam energy detuning system are satisfactory for the upcoming DR experiments at the CSRe. However, we found large discrepancies between the experimental result and the calculation in both resonance positions and the intensities of the recombination spectrum below 0.7 eV, which indicate that precise calculation of the DR spectrum of multielectron ions is still a challenge. Abstract: BiFeO3/LaNiO3 (BFO/LNO) heterostructure films are fabricated directly on Si (100) substrate. The LaNiO3 layer, which is prepared by chemical solution deposition, is used both as the seed layer to improve the quality of BiFeO3 layer, and as the bottom electrode for the electrical measurement. The BiFeO3 layer, which is fabricated by pulsed laser deposition, presents compact microstructure with grain size about 100nm. Saturated hysteresis loops of polarization vs. applied voltage have been measured at the frequency of 1kHz. The value of remnant polarization is about 40μC/cm2. The frequency dependence of capacitance and loss tangent of the heterostructure is also studied. All the results of the electrical measurements indicate that the effect of leakage current has been suppressed in the BFO/LNO heterostructure. The results are significative for the application of BiFeO3 films in microelectronic devices. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: Structural properties of Fe60Cr40 powders prepared by mechanical alloying in different atmosphere were investigated by using X-ray diffraction and 57Fe Mössbauer spectrum. The results show the formation of BCC paramagnetic structure when the sample sealed under Argon milled for 85h. While in vacuum of 6×10−2 Pa, the BCC magnetic disordered solid solution is obtained for milled 45h and more. The hyperfine filed distributions of Fe60Cr40 milled for 85h in Argon is comprised of the crystalline grains and the disordered grain boundaries. Those of Fe60Cr40 milled for 85h in vacuum indicate the formation of disordered alloys with nanoscale heterogeneous structures and the homogenization still proceed for a long milling time. Abstract: X-ray diffraction (XRD), 57Fe Mössbauer and magnetic measurements were performed on mechanically alloyed Fe x Cr90− x Mn10 (x=18 and 35) alloys. XRD and 57Fe Mössbauer spectra show the systems are non-magnetic BCC phase. The irreversibility between field-cooled and zero-field-cooled magnetization curves at relative high temperature is due to the blocking of some single particles. A correlation between the Fe concentration and T max of ZFC curves can be explained by the fine Fe-rich clusters which are embedded in a paramagnetic solid solution. The Fe35Cr55Mn10 alloy exhibits two type of blocking/freezing in an ensemble of nanoparticles. With the decreasing of temperature, the Fe18Cr72Mn10 alloy shows spin-glass-like behavior and the Fe35Cr55Mn10 alloy goes through two magnetic transitions from paramagnetic phase to ferromagnetic phase and then to re-entrant spin-glass state. Background: Exosome therapy shows potential for cardiac repair after injury. However, intrinsic challenges such as short half-life and lack of clear targets hinder the clinical feasibility. Here, we report a noninvasive and repeatable method for exosome delivery through inhalation after myocardial infarction (MI), which we called stem cell-derived exosome nebulization therapy (SCENT)., Methods: Stem cell-derived exosomes were characterized for size distribution and surface markers. C57BL/6 mice with MI model received exosome inhalation treatment through a nebulizer for 7 consecutive days. Echocardiographies were performed to monitor cardiac function after SCENT, and histological analysis helped with the investigation of myocardial repair. Single-cell RNA sequencing of the whole heart was performed to explore the mechanism of action by SCENT. Last, the feasibility, efficacy, and general safety of SCENT were demonstrated in a swine model of MI, facilitated by 3-dimensional cardiac magnetic resonance imaging., Results: Recruitment of exosomes to the ischemic heart after SCENT was detected by ex vivo IVIS imaging and fluorescence microscopy. In a mouse model of MI, SCENT ameliorated cardiac repair by improving left ventricular function, reducing fibrotic tissue, and promoting cardiomyocyte proliferation. Mechanistic studies using single-cell RNA sequencing of mouse heart after SCENT revealed a downregulation of Cd36 in endothelial cells (ECs). In an EC- Cd36 fl/- conditional knockout mouse model, the inhibition of CD36, a fatty acid transporter in ECs, led to a compensatory increase in glucose utilization in the heart and higher ATP generation, which enhanced cardiac contractility. In pigs, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging showed an enhanced ejection fraction (Δ=11.66±5.12%) and fractional shortening (Δ=5.72±2.29%) at day 28 after MI by SCENT treatment compared with controls, along with reduced infarct size and thickened ventricular wall., Conclusions: In both rodent and swine models, our data proved the feasibility, efficacy, and general safety of SCENT treatment against acute MI injury, laying the groundwork for clinical investigation. Moreover, the EC- Cd36 fl/- mouse model provides the first in vivo evidence showing that conditional EC-CD36 knockout can ameliorate cardiac injury.
